Violet came into her office. She put her bag down on a chair and looked around. There were two other people there. "Morning, Mr. Randall," she said absentmindedly. She recognized Attica, from the Magical Maintenance department, and smiled at her. "Did I hear something about cockroaches?" she said. "Yes, I heard that too, but I thought it was just someone moving a chair in the room above us or something. Maybe you'd better check." She sat in her chair without another word and stared at the small pile of papers she had yet to file.

"Great, I think I'll go and quicky run down to the cafeteria to grab us some hen. I don't want to bother ith the Sphinx again." She chuckled drily, allowing a hint of her nerves to show before her resolve came back.

Squaring her shoulders she smiled at Kass before throwing a quick wave. "I'll be back!" she chirrped before heading out the door, walking towards the lifts.

Kass smiled and waved to her. "Don't trip over any house elves." She said as Emily left the office. And once again she was alone in the room. There was no filing to be done, she had done it all. Not as though she had to prepare for anything. So she sat there and waited to Emily to come back.

What felt like minutes, but in reality was only half an hour Emily was back holding two styrofoam cups of coffee. Handing one to Kass, she smiled and said, "I didn't know what you took in it, so I just brought some sugar and cream." she placed the items on the desk before her and leaned back against hers.

"Two sugars, three cream." she said smiling taking the cups. She put in her desired amount of each and stirred it slowly. "So do we know exactly what is going on with the whole house elves thing. Or did they just randomly decide to go on an outburst."

Emily shook her head, a slight frown on her youthful face. "No idea, all I know is what you know." she replied, looking out the open door. "Though there should be more poeple out looking for those muggle children don't you think?" she pondered, her blue eyes sqiunting slihgtly. She stirred her coffee - double double - and sipped it, frowning slightly at the taste.

"I imagine there is more than we think. I do hope they don't get too hurt though."

Kelly stepped out of the elevator . "This must be Level 4" she thought to herself . She looked up the Centaur Liaison Office . She didn't know what to do , knock , or just burst in . She had no idea what to say or do , so she just stood outside the office .

Violet looked up at the creak of a floorboard outside the door. She looked up to see a woman there, looking uncertainly in. She looked a little lost. "Hello, may I help you?" she asked kindly. "Don't be shy, come on in!" she said, with a friendly smile.

Pablo walked into the Dragon Research and Restrait Bureau and was immediantly captivated by all of the pictures of dragons on the wall. Dragons had always interested him, and he was very excited for his first day at work.

He took a seat and nodded at his coworkers that were already in the room.

Kelly looked at the woman carefully . She seemed kind but one must not judge a book by it's covers . She had always been taught to be careful . " If this is the Centaur Liasion Office, then I'm supposed to start working here . " She saw two other people in the office and said a quiet "Hello !" . Then she noticed an epmty desk and walked over there . She sat on a chair behind the desk and thought to herself " It's not much but I guess It'll be like home for some time . Finishing with that thought , she started to look around the office .

"This is the Centaur Liaison office." said Violet. She watched as the woman sat at a desk. Then she got up and went over to her.
"Excuse me for being so rude...I'm Ms. Silvermoon or Violet if you prefer. I hope you'll like it here at the Ministry." she said sincerely. "If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask." With that, she incline her head slightly and sat back in her own seat. How bad she was at meeting people.

Kelly saw quite a small room with white walls . " A bit claustrofobic " she thought to herself . She didn't have any more time to see anything because the woman who had greeted her before was coming towards her . She introduced herself and offered help if needed . She seems like a charming woman , " Kelly thought . " A motherly woman I guess. Not that I would know ofcourse ..". Her face turned dark and she couldn't answer . Only after Violet had gone and sat back behind her own desk could Kelly open her mouth . " I'm Kelly , Kelly Black . Eager to learn whatever you have to teach me . " she said and gave a smile , trying to smooth her rudeness before .

"Oh look someone new I take it?" Kasandra smiled at the man who walked into the office. She gave him a small wave as looking over him. Did she ever feel young working at the ministry. Not something that really bothered her though. "And what might your name be?" She asked with her british- accent less voice. as she twirled her blue curly hair around her finger.

The office had been slow for sometime but it had always been in his nature to arrive early. he had Just began sort through the reports on his desk. Paper work the worse part of his job well as far as he was concerned. he looked up when someone entered. " Morning " He greeted as she crossed the office to her desk.

James turned to the door as someone else entered The young woman who was clearly new to the division seemed to be sizing up the office and the people in it. " James Randall, " He stated introducing himself breifly with an aire of formality. "welcome to the centaur liason. it's a bit slow but it should pick up." he said simply before he went back to his paperwork. the quicker he got this report done the quicker he could head out. Which was where he preferred to be in the feild as opposed to a stuffy office behind a desk.

The man seemed different than Violet . " Randall ", she thought , " sounds familiar . " He was formal and didn't seem to like being in this office . It seemed as if he would have better be anywhere else than here . " excuse me , but wh.." she started to ask but she was cut off because a stack of papers appeared on her desk . " Oh , so that's how it is around here .. " she figured and started to work .

James looked upwhen she started to speak. " it's more than paper work. we just been kind of slow which is a good thing for the community..." He said distractedly.

From her chair, Violet's eyes widened as the woman's face darkened. Oh no! What did I say? she thought frantically, trying to think of what she might have done to offend her. As Kelly introduced herself, Violet struggled to find her own voice again. Oh...there it was. "It-it's nice to meet you," she managed to say. She was slightly relieved as Kelly smiled at her, but still a bit taken aback.

Kelly and James started a conversation of their own. She gave them both a friendly smile and turned back to her own work. The sooner she got it done the better.

Pablo looked up as someone in the room addressed him.

"Oh yes'm I'm new here. My name is Pablo Verdez, and um, who might you be?" Pablo looked at the woman a little strangley. After all, he'd never seen someone with blue hair before, and he wondered if all British people were so weird. Coming from the States, Pablo didn't know what to expect.

Kelly listened to what James said but noticed that she was interrupting him . " He seems really serious when it comes to working. I wonder if he's always that way .." she thought to herself . Then she glanced at Violet thinking "She probably has a reason to hurry with her work. Maybe she has a family at home." It was always Kellys favourite thing to speculate about people . About their ages, families, homes, husbands. At first it made her sad, but by now she had been starting to feel glad about the people who have a place to go and a family to be with, after a hard day of working.

"Kasandra Tonks." She said. She looked at the man, he seemed to give her a bit of an odd look. It must have been her hair. It was always the hair, or perhaps the makeup. Either or, she let it pass. "So, Pablo- where you from?"

James was near finished with his paperwork when a memo plane breezed in and circled his head he at first ignored it till he was done dropping his quill on the desk he reached and grabbed the plane. his eyes scanned it quickly before he gathered his jacket and pulled it on he tucked his wand into his pocket. " Pardon me ladies it seems I have some things to take care of." he was quickly out the door and down the hall.

Violet blinked at James's abrupt departure. "Must be urgent," she commented. "I wonder what's up? then again, it isn't any of my business..." She smiled at Kelly before turning back to her work. She was starting at a completed paper. "Well! I'm done for the day!" she said brightly. "I'm going to go have a cup of coffee. Do you want to come?" she offered, looking back at Kelly again.

Kelly watched James leaving and smiled at Violet's statement. She started on work, when she heard Violet asking to have coffee with her. Kelly looked up and said : " I would love to ! " . "I can finish up my work later. Got all the time in the world." she thought to herself.

"I'm from the U.S., but now I live here in London. So if I don't know anything about Britain, it's because I really don't. Is most everyone here from around here?"
