Chapter 1

"So he's gone?"

Kelly looked McGonagall straight in the eye. She just couldn't believe that all he predicted and prepared her for, really happened. She had never thought that he'd been actually serious.

"Yes, I guess you're on your own now. I know it's something you wouldn't want to talk about right now, but I know that he saw you before... before that. What did he see you about?" was McGonagall curious.

Kelly shook her head. She was to tell no one. Those were the orders and she had always obeyed him. McGonagall looked at her worriedly and started to leave. At the door she looked back and said, "We can't keep you in secret no more. After he's gone, things are about to change and you're the only person who can smooth things, 'cause you were closest to him. Even closer than Potter." With those words, she walked out the door and left Kelly with her confused thoughts.

The summer passed and it was time to go back to school. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny stood at the Kings Cross station. Still pondering if they had made the right choice. They were shocked to see that Draco decided to return also. How could he come back after what he'd done?

"'C'mon Hermione, let's find an empty compartment."

"I'll be right with you, go on without me," shouted Hermione to them.

She waited 'till they were gone and walked to Draco.

"I thought you wouldn't show up." and raised her eyebrows at him.

"How could I not come. I knew you'd be waiting for me. They don't know?"

"They'd kill me, if they found out 'bout us. And on your side?"

"Only Snape does," answered Draco, lowering his voice. "You do believe me, that I didn't do it right?"

"Of course I do. I believe your story and Harry admitted that he didn't hear you say it. But I'll have to go now. I'll see you later." She looked around to see no one was watching, kissed him on the cheek and left.

She went through the whole train, finding Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville and Luna in the last compartment. Harry and Ron were quarreling about Quidditch. Luna was reading Ancient Runes and Neville looked outside the window with Ginny's head resting on his shoulder. Hermione sat down opposite of Harry and Ron.

"This year's gonna be a whole lot different with Dumbledore gone," Ron said with anxiety.

"It sure will, if you only knew how," Hermione thought to herself.

If they'd all known what was actually going to happen..

Sorry , for this chapter being so short, but since noone reads it anyway.. Still, if any of you happen to wonder around, you could leave me a comment 'bout what I'm doing wrong.

Chapter 2

Kelly stood at the window and stared at the Black Lake. Everything had happened too fast and she didn't know what she should do next. Should she run or face everything, he had left her to deal with. She thought back to the last time they talked. She remembered it clearly.

"You can't be serious?" She screamed.

"Please relax. It's not as bad as you see it," he tried to calm her down. Dumbledore had always tried to be considerate and caring towards her. He had raised her and she was like his daughter, he never had.

"Not as bad?! Just like Sirius dying wasn't as bad?! Should I just get over it, when you're gone?!"

She rembered yelling the last words and then burst out crying. Dumbledore had taken her in his arms and had held her for the last time. Even now she shed a tear, looking outside. The Black Lake stood calm and silent. Like nothing interesting ever happened at Hogwarts. She walked slowly to the desk and sat down behind it. She still had a lot to plan before the students arrived.

Hermione was standing in the middle of the Great Hall and felt someone putting their hands on her shoulders. She turned around and faced Draco. "Hermione. Hermione!" He looked her straight in the eyes and swayed herself closer to him. "Oh, Draco!"

"What the bloody hell?!" Hermione opened her eyes and saw Ron leaning over her. "What's happening?"

"You were talking something about Malfoy, but you said.. "

"What? What did I say?"

"You said.. Draco!" Hermione had never seen Ron so upset before. "So?"

"So?! He's just our enemy since our first year at Hogwarts!" Harry stood next to Ron to back him up.

"You're such children. I was probably surrounded by a bunch of Deatheaters and he was my only option to escape. Drop it already! Ron, don't you have any Prefect duties?"

"No, me and Ginny only received the "all-we-need" list. Harry ?"

"Don't involve me, Dumbeldore would have never let me suffer any extra duties." though Harry found it oh so very peculiar, that none of them received the badge.

The rest of the ride continued in silence, which was sometimes broken by Quidditch talk from Ron and Harry. Hermione sat silently and thought about the dream. She made a silent promise, never too daydream loudly about Draco again.

Chapter 3

Harry, Ron and Hermione walked to the carriages. They saw Hagrid with the first years and waved.

"Hagrid, you had a nice summer?"

" 'mm, yup . An' you 'Arry ?" He had the same low voice they knew, but it had some exitment in it. Just like then, when they had saved Buckbeack from being killed. It was wierd, because baing so close to Dumbledore Hermione had thought he would still be crushed. She didn't have a lot of time to reason about it, because she heard a familiar voice behind her.

"Lose something, Potter?" he said with a sneere.

"Don't think so, Malfoy. Back off!" Harry responded before realizing what Draco had in his hand. It was his wand. He searched his pockets and noted that he really had lost it.

"Oh , so that means I can keep it. You don't need it anyway, you're gonna be dead by the end of this schoolyear with or without your wand." Blaise and Pansy behind him laughed.

"Stop it you two. Malfoy give it back. Ron put your wand down!" Hermione was really turned on. "You can't even spend 1 minute together without fighting! What's wrong with you?!"

"Come and take it then, Granger." Draco tried not to sound very hopeful. He was hoping for that reaction.

Hermione walked towards him and tried to grab the wand, but Draco pulled her by the hand. "Meet me in the Room of Requierment at 8." he whispered. But outloud he said "Can't keep your hands off me, can you, Granger?" Pansy looked like she could kill Hermione right there.

"Nice try, Malfoy, I would touch you willingly even with a 10 feet pole." Hermione tried to sound angry, but Draco's touch had been so gentle and warm. "Let's go guys. And for christ sake put away your wand, Ron!" Ron looked confused when she returned Harry's wand. "Didn't you see what he did? Did he hurt you?"

"No he didn't. Lay off him!" She didn't even realized what she had said. Harry and Ron looked at her like she was a ghost. "Tell me you didn't mean it?" Harry was really shocked.

"I didn't say anything! Let's go now." Hermione got in the carriage. Ron and Harry followed, still shocked.

"You think she's hiding something from us?" Ron whispered Harry. "Don't be silly. She wouldn't be so dumb to try something with Malfoy, would she?" Ron shook his shoulders. Something was up and he intended to find out what it was.

Draco had been silent for the whole ride to the casle. Pansy opened her mouth many times to say something, but didn't. Then, when they were entering the Great Hall, she finally found the words. "What were you thinking?!"

"Uh? What?" Draco hadn't even realized she was there.

"You let her touch yourself!" Pansy was furious.

"You know very well," said Draco lowering his voice "that the Dark Lord want's me to get close to Granger, so Potter could be dragged down."

"But does he also want that filthy mudblood touching you?!"

"Shut up! It's all part of the plan and don't call her that when she could hear us. End of discussion!" he turned his back on her.

"But.."

"No but's! i have my orders and you keep your big nose out of it!" He walked away and paid no more attention to her.

The minute they walked into the Great Hall, they knew this year was going to be different. Everyone started to whisper and dicuss. "Is that real?";"I can't believe they would do it..";"Is he doing it without magic?!"

The Great Hall was still being decorated. Prof. Flitwick was putting the chairs in order, McGonnagal and Trelawney were bringing the food on the tables and Hagrid was putting up the house flags. Only thing that seemed magical in the Hall was the ceiling. This time it was clear blue with lots of stars and it was raining, though all the drops faded soon after falling. And the tables were not by houses. There were just small tables mixed up. House flags were mixed everywhere. The students didn't know what to do, 'till Snape came.

"What are you standing here for?" he asked in his normal full of hatred voice.

"We don't know where we're supposed to sit, Professor." said one 4th year Hufflepuff student.

"Can't you see the tables? Or have you just turned more idiotic during the summer?" he turned and left them.

Silently the students started to move towards the tables and sat down. Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs and Rawenclaws got mixed, but the few Slytherins who had come, stayed in groups and avoided other student greatly. Once they had all seated, the first years were brought in. Harry stabbed Ron in the ribs "Ouch! What?" "Who's that sitting on Dumbledore's seat?" Ron hadn't noticed it before Harry pointed it out. He had never seen that girl before in his life. She had long black hair which seemed blueish. She was pale and her eyes were so red from crying they couldn't see her eyes. She wore a black robe and her hands were as pale as her face. She also had a few scars on her hands and one on her left ear.

"Maybe it's someone from the Ministry?" Ron offered.

"Don't be silly, it can't be" Hermione interrupted "she isn't older than we are."

"Guess will just have to wait and find out" thought Harry.

Once the first years were sorted and seated, McGonnagal got up.

"As you can see, this year we are doing things a little different around here. We have no prefects this year. We hope you behave yourselves and don't look for trouble on purpose." with those words she looked at Harry, who tried to make the most innocent face he knew. "Nevertheless the Forbidden Forest is still forbidden and Mr. Filch has added raginf candles to his forbidden items list. Now before we eat, I'd like to give a word to a new .. umm .. person in our school."

Everyone were shocked. McGonnagal had never trouble with her speeches and now she couldn't find the words. This was greatly odd.

"Thank you for the introduction Prof. McGonnagal." she looked at the students and saw their shocked expressions. "you're probably wondering why Prof. called me a person. It's because I'll be in the school staff as well as attending lessons with the 7th years. My name is Kelly and I'm a .. friend of Dembledore's. He left me the instuctions for this year before he.. before he was killed. I advise you to act wisely this year. And now I would like you all to stand up and we'll have a minute of silence to honour Dumbledore."

Everyone stood and watched the sky as it turned black and left only the biggest and brightest star shining. Everyone lowered their heads, except for Harry. He looked straight at Kelly and their eyes connected. It lasted for a second and then she lowered her head too. Harry felt cold shivers up and down his spine. It couldn't be. But he could never forget those grey eyes. Though hers were filled with hate and pain, not like Sirius's. He thought he probably imagined it.

Kelly couldn't help herself from sheding a tear. He was the reason why her father was dead. She couldn't believe that such a young boy could do so much good to some people and so much bad to others. "Don't let it get to you, Kelly!" she thought to herself. He loved him too. He just wasn't as strong as I am. Yeah, that must be it she ensured herself.

"So, now lets eat." She sat down and let her eyes over the Slytherins. She noticed Draco staring at her and she shook her head barely so only he would see it. Draco's eyes widened with terror and he didn't look at her not once more. Harry on the other hand wanted to see her eyes again, but Kelly never looked at him.

"Now everybody head to your dormitory's. Oh, and Potter, Weasley, Granger report to my.. i mean Professor Dumbledore's office at 8. "

My Gosh, you're slowly making me a Malfoy fan, sweety.

Chapter 4

"8 o'clock?!? No, no, no!"

"What's the matter with you? It's not like we had anything planned!" Ron snapped at her.

"How can YOU know, what plans I have or don't have!" Hermione lashed out at him.

"Guys. Cut it out."

"Well, she started it." Ron was beaten.

"Ronald Weasley! All of my plans don't revolve around you nor Harry! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to the bathroom. If I can still go there without YOU!"

"Geesh, it wasn't like we were holding her by force." said Ron while walking away.

"I heard that!" Hermione's voice echoed from the walls. She headed to the owlery, hoping that she would bump into Draco somehow.

"Umm.. I'll see you guys later. I have to go to see Snape, I don't have all the necessary ingredients."

"Sure, whatever." Grabbe and Goyle turned and left him.

"What idiots. Snape doesn't even teach potions anymore." he laughed silently."Now, where could I possibly find Hermione?" His best guess was the library and he turned to go there but then he had a flash. Hermione would be so much smarter than wait for him at the library. She is probably at the owlery instead. "Yeah, I'll check there first." he thought.

Hermione had been sitting in the owlery for hours. Atleast so it seemed, when suddenly the door opened and she saw the familiar blonde hair.

"Draco, I knew you'd figure this out!"

"Well it was tough, but I know you."

Draco went to her and took her in his arms. They stood there like that for several minutes, before Hermione dared to break the silence.

"Did you see the look on Pansy's face, when you didn't give me the wand, but pulled me closer to you. It was hilarious."

"It was more like I'm-gonna-kill-you-Granger look. She yelled at me afterwards. Like what am I thinking, blaa-blaa, Dark Lord, blaa-blaa and so on. I hate keeping it all a secret." Draco sighed.

"Are you insane?! If anyone found out, Pansy wouldn't be the only one with the I'm-gonna-kill-you look! Think a little!" Hermione couldn't stand the thought of being forced to choose between her friends and Draco.

"Yell louder, we have been keeping it in secrecy for too long already." Draco sneered.

"Oh, stop it." Hermione couldn't help laughing.

They sat down and she curled herself up in his arms. She hoped it would last forever. Then it hit her, what was the time?

"Draco, what's the time?"

"It's 5 minutes to 8. Guess you'll have to be going."

"Going? I'm late! Sorry, c'ya tomorrow!" She kissed him on the cheek and ran out of the owlery.

"Yeah, c'ya. By the way, I like you. A lot." Draco whispered the last words and headed to the common room.

Hermione caught up with Harry and Ron before the gargoyle, in front of Dumbledore's office.

"Where were you."

"None of your business."

Harry seemed confused, but didn't have time to ponder because McGonnagal was heading their way.

"It's nice to see you two being on time for once." McGonnagal looked at Harry and Ron. "Now follow me. Gummy rats!" The gargoyle jumped and let them up the stairs. McGonnagal knocked on the door and after hearing a silent 'Come in.' opened the door. Harry, Ron and Hermione jumped three feet backwards.

Soo , I'm on a writing zone today This one goes to mah twinsistah Matt, who I put in teh story first. Hope you all luv it, I knows it's probably not my best chappie, but it explains most of the things Luff you all !

Chapter 5


They were startled at first but then a wide smile came across their faces. It was amazing. The whole Order was in that office. Mrs Weasely was the first to run to Harry and hug her.

"Khhm."

"Oh yes, i'm sorry.. It's just.." and the she burst out crying.

McGonnagal gave a cup of tea to calm her down.

"Now, you probably don't know why have I called you here and more important, who am I" Kelly started "it's okay, cause you'll get the answers in a minute and for your information even the Order doesn't know who we" she turned to the other girl "are."

"I'm Matt, Kelly's sister and.." Her voice sounded so sweet and caring that Harry couldn't get his eyes off of her.

"Enough, luv! First things first" Kelly smiled at her sister. "Ms. Granger, Mr.Weasley and Mr. Potter. I have asked you here, to ask you come and join the Order of the Phoenix." her voice had turned cold and low "If you agree, then you'll have to take upon you the responsibility to give your life for the wellbeing of the muggle- and wizardingworld. If you reject the offer, you won't be given another opportunity later. Decide now." and then there was silence.

Hermione, Ron and Harry had neverever been so shocked before. "It's all too much for the first day" Hermione thought to herself. "What's going on?" went through Harry's mind. "Maybe we'll get more food if we join." was the only thing Ron could think of.

Matt burst out laughing. At such times Kelly liked to use the thought link between sisters. "What is it?" thought Kelly. "It's just funny what Weasley's thinking. Only about food!" Matt shot a thought back. They both smiled at each other without saying a word outloud.

"So, have you decided? Will you join us?"

Harry and Hermione gave a solid "Yes!" while Ron said "a wha'. Sorry, wasn't paying attention.. Yes I'll join too, but I'm still hungry."

Now everybody laughed. Even Snape.

"Now, you three need to learn occlumency. Matt, you'll be teaching Ms. Granger, I'll take Mr. Potter and Minerva, you can take Mr. Weasley."

"but we still want to know who you are." Hermione tried not to sound too curious.

"Oh yeah, forgot that."Kelly let out a sigh and Matt held her hand. "We are the daughters of Sirius Black and Emma Pettigrew."

"Sirius never had a wife and Peter never had a sister!" Lupin said outloud what Harry had been thinking.

"Ofcourse they didn't. Peter had a stepsister and Sirius had a thing for someone only he knew existed. Emma was adopted by Peter's mother and father and she was raised as a family member. It was easy to keep her in secrecy for she never wanted to come to Hogwarts and Peter had no reason to tell you guys about her. But Sirius had found out somehow. And he was the only one who had ever seen her, beautiful as she was, Sirius had a crush on her from the first sight. She got pregnant and gave birth to two beautiful babies. Us. Then came dark times. We were just 1 years old. Sirius had no chance to leave us, 'cause otherwise we all would have been killed. When he found out that Peter had betrayed James and Lily, he was furious. He had stormed into our house, scared Emma halfdead and left without a word. Afterwards he was taken to Azkaban, accused in killing several muggles and Peter Pettigrew. But Peter wasn't dead. He came home to Emma and told her, she'd have to get on by herself. He called for Dumbledore and gave us in care of him. All of a sudden Bella rushed in. Somehow she had found out about Emma and was furious. Dumbledore took us away and afterwards told us, that Peter had just stood there and watched her step sister being killed. Then he had ran away, Bella had been put to Azkaban and Voldemort had been defeated. You know the rest."

"And Dumbledore raised you? Here? How come we didn't know?" asked Moody, who was the first to find any words.

"Dumbledore kept us in secrecy 'cause he didn't know if Bella knew about us or not. And a good thing he did, because Bella knew. I saw it in Mr. Malfoy's eyes today. Anyway, Dumbleodre raised us here. The only ones who knew about us were Minerva, Severus, Hagrid and Dumbledore himself. I spent most of my time with Hagrid, learning about Magical Creatures and Matt's especially knowledged in Potions, thanks to Snape. So now you know our story and it's better to keep it to ourselves. That's why you three" she pointed to Hermione, Harry and Ron "need to learn occlumency real hard. Now, look at the time. You should be in bed. Return to your dormitorys and don't let Filch catch you."

When they had left, all the Order members started to leave too. "It's all really confusing" said Lupin. "Don't worry about a thing, we'll alarm you if something happens." Kelly answered. A few moments later only Kelly, Matt, McGonnagal and Snape were left.

"You think I told them everything too soon, don't you, Minerva."

"Well it's not up to me to say. If Dumbledore wanted it, then so be it.."

".. but you're gonna have a hard time teaching them occlumency, my dears" finished Snape.

"We know, but we learned from the best." smiled Matt and gave Snape a hug.

"Now we all need to get a little rest. Tomorrow's gonna be quite a day." said Kelly

When McGonnagal and Snape had left, Matt turned to her sister.

"We're gonna have such fun!"

"All you ever think about is fun, my dear. Even fighting Voldemort sounds 'like FUN' to you" laughed Kelly.

"You know, if you weren't my sister, I would hex you."

"Try me!"

Kelly yawned, took her sister by hand and led her to their bedroom. "Sleep tight" said Matt "and don't let the bedbugs bite" answered Kelly and the both fell asleep.

Meanwhile, Draco was still in the owlery, writing a letter to his father.

*jumping up and down on the couch*

You know, I was quite wary of it when I first started reading...but Kelly is really starting to rub off on me. She and I are similiar in a lot of ways. && who doesn't love Draco.

Keep the chapters coming! I'll try and continue stalking but just nudge me this way like today and we'll be good.

Chapter 6

"AARRGGHH !!"

"No-now, c-calm do-down, Bella.."

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN ?!?" she screamed.

"What's happening here?" Voldemort's cold voice came echoing from the walls.

"Lucius here, hasn't done his job right!!"

"I swear, I never saw them anywhere ! Not even when Umbridge was in Hogwarts. There was no signs of them ever being there!" Lucius had never in his life sounded so nervous than now.

"Maybe you should have looked harder !!" screamed Bella.

"QUIET! What are you two talking about?"

"The Black's!" Bella gave his master the letter Draco had sent earlier.

Father,

Aunt Bella was right. The Black sisters do exist. I saw one of them today in Hogwarts. She has taken the place of Dumbledore. She has aunt Bella's hair and that blood-traitors Sirius's eyes. I haven't seen the other one, but I'm quite sure she's around here somewhere. Overall that girl, Kelly is her name, seems harmless and she's only 17. I do have some good news too. I've been getting closer to Granger. She kind of trusts me already. Hope everything is fine wih you. Pay my regards to the Dark Lord and tell mum, I love her.

Draco

Voldemort ripped the paper to pieces. "So, how can we correct this situation. We don't know anything about those nuances. Lucius, tell Draco to find out as much as you can, about that girl.."

"It's all Snape's fault" Lucius interrupted "I'm sure, he knew something about them!"

"How dare you interrupt me! Crucio!" Voldemort watched Lucius twitch on the ground.

"Forgive me!!"

"Severus hasn't done anything wrong. He was the one to kill Dumbledore, 'cause your pathetic son couldn't do it! If he had known anything about them, WE had already known a long time ago! Good that your son had that much brains to tell us about them." Voldemort turned and left the room.

"You're such an idiot! I'm ashamed to call you a relative!" Bella followed Voldemort's action and left.

"I had no idea.." Lucius was beaten.

"Ron, can you try and focus on something else than food, fo a while?" Hermione sounded annoyed.

"Wha'? I am payin' attentio' " he answered while stuffing the hugest potato down his throath.

"You really are impossible. Harry, what do you think?"

"I agree with you, Hermione. They are planning something. Something they need us for. We'll just have to find out what it is. The morning post is coming"

Hunders of owls came flying in from the windows. A large black owl flew to Harry, Ron and Hermione and dropped three letters in front of them. Then it flew to Kelly, who was sitting behind the staff table. Kelly winked and all three of them started to rip the letters open. They received their occlumency lessons. Harry's was in the Astronomy tower, Hermione's in the Room of Requierment and Ron's in McGonnagals office. 9 o'clock sharp. There were also free passes inside the envelopes. ' In case of Filch ' written on the back.

"Before you all proceed to your classes" Kelly had stood up and started talking, the Great Hall was silent "I wanted to say, that this weekend is going to be The Hogsmeade Weekend, but unfortunately we only accept 5th years and older. There will be no sneaking past the rules. That's all." she finishe seeing the disappointment on the faces of 4th years.

"It's great being 7th years" Harry smiled.

" 'cmon, start moving. We have transfiguration and I don't want to be late!"

"We're coming, we're coming, 'Ermione. But it won't become a habit!" Harry and Ron laughed.

"Oh, you two!" Hermione couldn't help smiling.
