Kass looked up from her paper. "And what are you laughing about Mister?" She said in the tone of the voice- that if she was stand up- her hip would be to one side and her hands on her hip. She put two folders on Pablo's desk with a smirk. "I'd think twice about laughing at me mister." She wink- fulling knowing that he offered to help.

Pablo quickly threw a surprised/confused expression on his face. "Laughing? My dear Kasandra I was laughing at absolutely nothing! Nothing at all!"

Pablo accepted the folders with a huge smile and wink at Kas, and then got right to work.

Kasandra rolled her eyes and gave a bit of a giggle. She just finished all her paper work when she leaned back into her chair. "Oi how I am hungry." She said after an hour or so of paper work. She looked down at her watch. It was nearly lunch time.

Pablo hardly noticed that the time had flown by. He looked up as Kas mentioned lunch.

"Well, I'm not really hungry...but if you are, can I tag along?" Pablo gave what he hoped was his most dazzling smile, and he capped his pen and shuffled his papers as he waited for the effect of his pearly whites to sink in on Kasandra.

Kass looked over at Pablo as he asked if he could tag along. Inside she laughed a bit at his smile. He seemed to be trying just a bit too hard on it. "My dear Mr. Verdez." She said with her eyesbrows raised. "You don't need a smile like that to come along. With a gorgeous face like that? How can anyone resist." A smirk across her face as she chuckled softly. The girl got up from her desk and pushed her drawers in with her foot. "I am going off to the 8 floor though, so if you still want to come."

Pablo blushed at the mention of his "gorgeous face."

He stood up along with Kas and said, "Alrighty. You decided it then. I shall come along." Pablo cleared his desk and pushed in his chair, and then followed his coworker out the door.

Kass looked back to see the small blush across the mans cheeks. She turned back and walked out of the door with a small laugh- only herself could hear. With the thunking of her boots she dissapeared into the hallways of the minitry with Pablo behind her

Ana walked back into her office, only to find that both Kassandra and Pablo (the only two people she had so far managed to tlak to) were gone. Looking at the clock, she sighed.

"Lunch," she mused. "I guess I might as well stick around and wait for someone else to appear. Ah, and what's this?"

She leaned over to Kassandra's desk, where she saw a pile of papers, stamps and files. Everything that pointed towards work. Feeling bored and having nobody to talk to, Ana decided to help her new friend, and she swiftly set about stamping the papers and neatly filing them away.

Violet entered the office to wait for Teal. He had told her to meet him here. It had sounded sort of urgent, so she had not hesitated to come straight here.

Teal followed Violet into the Centaur Liaison Offices with a businesslike swagger. He gave her a brisk smile as he walked past her into the office and sat down at a vacant desk. He then shuffled through the folder he had under his arm and nodded when he found the page he was looked for.

Teal looked up and saw Violet and motioned her to sit next to him at the table. Once she had sat, Teal glanced at the sheet and give her a smile. "Alright, well it seems we have developed a bit of an international problem with the centaurs." he said, scratching his right temple as he looked at the paper again, gathering more information. "In Bulgaria, muggles have constantly been encroaching upon their land making them very angry. It is only a matter of times before there are muggle killings and we need to help find a way to make that stop." he said with a nod, "This is something that we need to understand before the International Convention of Magic coming up in a few short weeks." He said with a blank expression, it really was creeping up on him now.

Teal looked back again to Violet, he needed help on the local issue as well. "And as of late, wand makers have been invading on the centaurs land in the Dark Forest. This would start to pose a problem because if we react badly, then the centaurs could even become more anti-ministry than they already are." he finished with a sigh. "I have read your file, and I know you will have some great idea's. We need to figure our the best solution that brings the least conflict." he said with a nod, hoping she had a good plan.

Violet walked over to where he was sitting and sat down next to him. As he explained the situation, she listened intently, the eyebrows above her violet eyes furrowed as she was already deep in thought. She forced herself to listen to the rest of what he was saying.

"Yes, I read a report about a disturbance in the Dark Forest," she said, nodding. "All right, well I've already got a few ideas for both situations. We need a solution fast, so one of the first things we should do is contact the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic, just to make sure they know what's going on, and we should definitely put Muggle Repelling Charms on the forests where the centaurs are residing, so that the Muggles can't take any more land."

She tilted her head to one side, then continued. "As for the Dark Forest...I'm sorry, sir, I've been giving you no chance to cut in. Do you have any ideas for me to reflect on?" she asked, blushing a bit. She always had talked too much and most likely always will.

Teal nodded as she went on, he liked all of her idea's a lot as he knew he would. He listened to her thought about contacting the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic, and right as he opened his mouth to say something she spoke again on the Dark Forest, making strong points that seemed very logical indeed. Once she finished, and apologized with gave her a warm smile... there was no need to apologize.

"No worries." He said with a nod, finishing up writing a few things in the notebook. "Ok, well I agree we need to speak with the Bulgarian Minister soon. He will be coming here for the International Convention in just over a week so we need to work out a solution before he arrives. I do believe that they are aware of the problem, but we need to work up as many idea's as possible to help satisfy him." Teal said, taking an involuntary sip from his mug.

Then Teal reflected to impending issues of the Dark Forest. "This problem is only going to worsen as the weeks go buy. Wandmakers are using more wook than usual at this time of year as they prepare wants for the new students." He said scratching his chin in thought. "We need to reason with them, we need those tree's for wood. But then again, we don't want to start a new revolution with the centaurs." Teal exclaimed, his eyes widened as an idea finally came to him. "No matter what amount of land we use in the Dark Forest, we are never going to reach a negociation. We need to find another forest in Europe that wandmakers can use that isn't inhabited with centaurs. That really is our only hope for the moment." He said, writing the key notes of this in his notebook.

"But, before we issue a new law for this. I'd like you and a few others to at least try and work a few things out with the centaurs. I personally know the leader, and maybe, just maybe, he'll let go some of his pride and offer a small amount of their land to us Wizards." he said, shaking his head because the idea did seem rather doubtful.

Violet nodded slowly, and a smile spread across her face. "Yes, those Bulgarians are so hard to please!" she said jokingly, then returned to business. "You have some good ideas. I'm no geologist, so I don't know where the nearest forest to the Dark Forest is, but if we could find one with good wand-trees, without any centaurs, then that would be good. We also need to notify the wandmakers, because they should know about the trouble they're causing." She was writing in her own notebook as she talked, taking notes so that she wouldn't forget the plan.

"All right, would you like me to speak with the others in the office?" An idea came to her. "You said you know the leader. Will you be going?" She knew that if he wanted, Teal could be pretty persuasive.

Teal nodded in agreement as she said that they needed to notify the wandmakers as soon as possible. "I agree." he said with a curt nod, taking a sip out of his coffee. When she asked if she should tell the others in the office, Teal nodded. "Absolutely, we need to get anyone on this we can." Then she asked if he would be attending himself. "I would like to, but the next few months I am going to be very busy. And I couldn't tell you an accurate time period that we would be spending in the forest. Hopefully I can, but even if I can't I'm sure you all will manage just fine." he said with a wink, he knew they were all very talented people.

Before the mention though, the wizard encroachment needed to come to a sudden stop. And with that thought, an idea sprang to mind as opened his mouth to ask Violet a favor. "Today, I need you to head over to Ollivanders in Diagon Ally and tell Ms. Elizabeth Laurent about the problems we have been experiencing with the centaurs. Tell her that Teal sent you from the Ministry, and just show her you're badge and everything. She'll understand." he said with a firm nod. "I'm really sorry that this is so short notice, but the longer the centaurs land is irritated, the longer it will take for us to reconcile with them."

Violet nodded. "Okay, I'll talk to everyone in the office. I'll also put a sign up on the bulletin board." She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear and out of her face. "All right...It's too bad that you might not be able to go, we'll need all the help we can get," she said. "Oh, and when we go, if we tell the chief centaur we know you, do you think he'll listen to us better than if we didn't?" she asked.

Though a bit taken aback by the sudden favor, Violet agreed to what Teal was asking. "Elizabeth Laurent, got it." she said. "Of course. We need to resolve it as quickly as possible. but...who is Elizabeth Laurent and how can she help?"

Teals eyes flew over is paper on in the notebook as Violet told him that she'd tell everyone in the office and put up a bulletin herself. "Yes that would be great." he said with a firm nod, underlining an important phrase on his paper so he could jump right back to it later. Teal listened to her as she asked if it would be better if she mentioned that they knew him or not. "I'd say so, yes. We're not exactly on great terms with each other. But we do respect each other, which is a very important attribute in a centaurs mind." he said with a smile, of course she already knew that.

Teal took another swig from his coffee mug and looked to Violet as she asked who Elizabeth Laurent was. "She is the Shopkeeper of Ollivander's in Diagon Ally. She is a very open minded woman and is in fast contact with anyone who might be cutting down the centaurs tree's. She can help us out the fastest, certainly." He said with a nod, gazing over a few more notes in his notebook to see if there was anything else to go over before she left.

Alex walked brightly into his first day of work at the Ministry. Posters of dragons covered the walls instantly captured his attention. Snapping out of his fascination, he turned to look around at the rest of his coworkers. Several people were around, most of them working on something or other. It seemed rather deserted actually. Seeing the time, Alex realized most were probably at lunch. Oh, well. Unsure of what to do now, Alex found a vacant chair and sat down. He pulled out his battered old copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and began to read; about dragons, naturally.

Having finished with his reading, Alex stood and looked around. He still wasn't sure what to do. Recalling the owl he received from the Head of the Department, Alex put the book back in his bag, then stood and reentered the hall, looking about for the door to Mr. Andrus' office. Locating it, he set off down the hall toward it.

Violet nodded. "All right, I'll put it up as soon as possible." she agreed, her pen flying over the paper as she took a few more notes at lightning speed. "And I will be sure to mention your name, if they respect you there's a good chance of them knowing that you are acting for the best, and that will save a lot of confusion." She was almost talking to herself at ths point, but loudly enough for him to hear. "Who will be leading the trip? I mean, who will be the one to talk to the chief? Is that going to be me?"

"Ollivanders, yes of course. I agree that she could be a great help to us. She has contact with all the wandmakers causing the trouble? Is she one of them herself?" Now that she had an objective, she felt as though the sooner she spokewith ms. Laurent, the better. Today, if possible, she thought.

Teal mused as Violet ran things over out loud, that girl really could get things done. Teal himself wrote a few more notes and rubbed his eyes before looking back up to Violet as she spoke of who would be leading the trip and talking to the chief. “If I am unable to make it, I think it would be necessary to put James Randall; the Beast Division Head in charge. He has a lot of experience in this field, as do you, so I’d like to see the two of you co-operate the mission. As for speaking, I think the both of you could both reason with him. Centaurs are very single minded, so it would be better if he heard a perspective from a few different people. Even if they are all centered on the same basis.” he said, almost droning on now. Teal was getting tired, it had been a long week.

As Violet seemed to agree with him, Teal nodded. “Yes she will be able to contact any wandmaker that is cutting down tree’s on the Dark Forest. And I think she makes them herself as well.” Teal said, underlining something specifically important in his notes. “Alright, if you could just run over there and talk to her sometime today before Ollivanders closes, that would be great.” he said, taking a look at his watch and noticing that he was running late for another meeting. “I have to go now.” Teal said, standing up from his seat. “Just stop by my office after you speak with Ms. Laurent.” he suggested with a nod, talking towards to the door. “Thank you Violet.” he said, and walked down the corridor to his next meeting.

Violet nodded. Again. If she didn't stop nodding son, she would become a bobblehead. "Okay. I know James; he works here in the Centaur office. He's a good leader, he'll know what to do. I'll talk to him first." She noticed that Teal was beginning to show signs that he was tired. Not that she could blame him, it had been a long day for everyone, what with the sphinx and everything. "All right, I'll help him. Of course I will." She nodded once again, writing even more notes in her notebook.

"All right. I'll go and talk to Ms. Laurent as soon as I can. Thanks, Teal," said Violet, standing up as well. She watched him leave the office, then followed him out, taking no stops on her way to Diagon Alley.

Kass hated mornings. She trotted into the office, her short (this time caramel colored) hair sticking up everywhere. Her eyes were enough to show that she really didn't want to come into work. "Every day its paper work here, paperwork there." She muttered to herself walking to a desk with a plaque reading Houdini. Her lips let out a long sigh as she sat behind the desk. With one quick glance she realized she had better get to work.

Her fingers searched for a quill somewhere in the desk. Compared to everyone else's, hers was rather unorganized and a mess. But at least she got her work done.

Pablo slowly strolled to his desk with a cup of coffee in one hand and his trusty pen (for Americans prefered pens over quills) in the other.

"Good morning Miss Kasandra," Pablo said as he sat down at his own desk near his coworker's.

"How are you doing on this fine, lovely morning?" he asked in his most chipper voice.

Kass looked up at Pablo who seemed rather cheerful in the morning. How could someone be so... so... awake?! Kasandra's look said she was annoyed, but too tired to really even know she was annoyed. "Morning." She muttered finally finding a quill. Her fingers started to flip through the files on her desk. Her blue eyes looked over the page.

"I am tired, and I wish I had a big cup of coffee right now."

Pablo silently chucked at Kass's groggy nature. "Yes, I agree, coffee really helps to wake one up in the morning."

Pablo winked at Kass and then said, "Do you want me to go get you a cup? Since you said you uh, wished you had one...."

Teal came into the Break Room on the already stressful day it had been, the Conference was tomorrow. And even though he had worked through everything over and over again, he still didn't really feel ready yet. Looking to Pablo and Kass who were already in the room, he have them a nod and turned to the two that were following him. "G'day Pablo, Kass." He said professionally, turning a gesture to the two behind him. "These two are your no co-workers in Dragon Restraint: Here is Roxie Mathias." he said, looking to the dressed in all black, angry looking woman. "And this here is Alex Griffin." he exclaimed, pointing to the man.

After finishing the introductions, he pulled out a small stack of papers and went over to a conference table in the middle of the room. "Alright, could I have all of you join me over here?" he asked, shuffling through the papers until he found one he liked. "I know we are the top rated Ministry in terms of Dragon Concealment, but the other countries at the convention aren't. We are going to be discussing this with all of them and I just want to make an outline before we head out. Any suggestions?" Teal asked, pen quivered over the paper.
