Merlin, I know my titles are lame.

But I promise, the plot isn't as bad as the title makes it sound.

The Plot

It's the holiday season at Hogwarts and the castle is virtually empty during this time of year. Except for a group of students who decide to stay at the castle and relax with their friends there.

But soon, it gets boring. There's not much to do in the empty castle so they do the only thing there is left to do and decide to explore the dungeons. Many students tend to avoid the dingy underground of Hogwarts but it'll keep them busy for a while until something better and more fun comes along.

And while they're down in the dungeons, the students make a rather interesting discovery. There's a mysterious ghost down there. But it's not a normal ghost. It's the spirit of a young lady. She's actually a beautiful, young ghost and in time the students soon learn more about her.

She's a cursed spirit. Her soul was cursed by a warlock centuries ago and she's been doomed to roam the earth for all eternity. Though, there are quirks. Unlike ghosts, she can actually possess the bodies of living beings (she's a spirit rather than a ghost after all). Turns out though, she's been lonely and now that students have crossed her path, she's going to have some fun of her own.

The mischievous spirit is now out to cause mayhem around Hogwarts. She's possessing students and teachers and causing trouble. The group of students that found her have now decided though that she has to go. They have to find someway to break the curse so that her spirit will be free and move on to rest. Until they figure something out though, they're going to have to try and keep her under control.

The Rules

There's only a couple of rules, really:
1. If you join please stay active! Or if you're going to drop out, let us know so we don't think your character is still in play.
2. Don't control other people's characters. Stick to your own, please.

There's no limit on the amount of characters you can have. Just have fun!

As far as characters go, we'll obviously need students and of course the mayhem-causing spirit. As mentioned in the plot, she has the ability to possess others. You don't have to possess any of the main characters, you can just have random teachers and students possessed. Though if you would like her to temporarily possess another person's character, make sure it's okay with that person. PM them and ask before doing anything. But not long term. Only for a few posts or so (in which case, you might want to have two charries so if you do let the spirit possess one of your charries, you still have the other you can control).

And if you do decide to play the spirit, you can just have fun with her. Make up her looks, background, personality, etc. Just keep to any personality traits mentioned in the plot (such as the fact that she is mischievous).

Laylee chuckled and sat down beside him still looking up at the sky, "exactly." She said but her voice was somewhat vague as she stared into the sky. "I still can't believe how beautiful it is from here though."

"Yeah, it's really calm and relaxing," said Shane. "I used to come up here to kind of get away from things, you know? Just unwind and relax. I fell asleep up on the roof a couple of times actually." He chuckled. "Luckily no one found out though."

Laylee laughed as well, the thought of that was pretty funny. Shane was right though, it was really calm and relaxing here. This side of Shane's personality was very relaxing too... Too bad it wouldn't last though. "Yeah, I know what you mean." She said smiling, she liked to read a book sometimes or just be alone to get away from everything once and a while. This place was simply amazing though.

"And you're welcome to use this place if you ever want to come up her to unwind," he offered. "You really seem to like it." He grinned at her.

"Thanks Shane, that's really nice of you." She said grinning. "I really do like it. I'm glad you showed this to me." She said again, it really did mean a lot to her though. Shane seemed to be pretty happy as well. "You should come here more often." She said with a smile, she was starting to feel quite tired again but she really didn't want to move from this place.

"Well, now that it's break, maybe I will," said Shane with a nod. "And I guess you should come with me since we really shouldn't be walking around alone. Sound like a plan?"

"That sounds good, there isn't really much to do in break is there? And this is a cool place." She said smiling, she liked the idea of coming here more often. And the idea of doing it with Shane, she quickly shook that thought from her head though and lay down on her back staring up at the sky.

"Sounds like a good plan then," he said. He lay down beside her just gazing up at the starry sky spread out before them. It was really a nice night.

Laylee, surprisingly, wasn't even paying attention to how close they were. It was as if she was in a daze or something, like her body was there but her mind was at some far off place. Laylee wasn't able to keep her eyes open anymore though because she was so tired, she was still awake though.

"I am quite tired, I don' want to move though." She said quietly with a sigh, it wasn't so much that she didn't want to leave this place in particular. She was just so tired she didn't even want to have to move. "Why probably should go back though, other wise I'll most likely fall asleep.

"I can carry you back," said Shane. "If you're that tired, I may as well." He then stood up and waited for Laylee. Although he could carry her back, she'd have to go through the window herself. It was much too small to fit both of them at the same time.

"Okay then." She said not paying that much attention out of her tiredness, she then forced herself to get up and climbed back down through the window and waited for Shane.

Shane then climbed in after her. Once he joined her in the tower, Shane picked up Laylee in his arms and held her bridal style. He began to walked down the steps now.

Laylee smiled as this was pretty funny, but then her tiredness won over and she closed her eyes again slowly drifting off to sleep in his arms.

Shane noticed Laylee fall asleep as he carried her back to the room of requirement. Soon he was back and walked towards the back where the beds were and placed her on one carefully.

Raquel nodded and squeezed his hand. "We should probably head back inside," she said. "It's probably past curfew and I don't want to get caught." It was dark outside now and most students were probably tucked in their dorms getting their rest.

Laylee could feel herself being laid down onto a comfortable bed and smiled, "night," She murmured softly and started to fall asleep again.

Oliver looked around. "It's late!" he said, not noticing it had gotten dark until now. "I guess we should head up there, then. Should we go to the Room of Requirement?" he asked, getting up and stretching.

"Yeah, there were beds in there, remember?" said Raquel. She then stood up herself and waited for Oliver before heading back inside.

Shane smiled slightly as Laylee fell asleep on the bed. He then went over to the couch and lay down on there. He knew there were other beds but he liked the couch and was soon sleeping himself.

Oliver smiled and stood beside Raquel, taking her hand and going to the Room of Requirement. "I guess everyone else is asleep, then," he said, walking into the castle.

"Probably," she nodded. Soon they were already back at the room and they entered. She looked around and saw that both Laylee and Shane were sleeping. "We should probably head to bed ourselves."
