Plot

The Book of the Dead is consisted of texts, religious and poetic, which are songs, hymns to the gods, and prayers to Amon-Re and Osiris. These texts were supposed to aid the dead, giving the soul directions for the journey through the underworld and words or magic spells to protect it from its enemies.

Now...
The Ministry of Magic (of England) received a letter from the Minister of Egyptian Magic Office saying that "The Book of the Dead" was missing since the 29th of August. It also said that he (Minister of England) should tell it among the wizards and witches to be careful.

Few more days, the new term in Hogwarts would soon open. But what should the students, the staff, and even ghosts should do to be secure in their school. Then a new problem bloomed... one of the students HAVE the book. But which one of them?!

Alex described the feeling of the Dementors every time they come close. "It makes a good warning sign." He also explained what it feels like to see your soul, a little glowing orb just dangling in the air. "It's horrid, the worst feeling you'll ever feel...But then I blacked out." Alex finished.

OOC: Well, Alex made a commotion at the last carriage by casting a spell. Daniel (me) ran towards it, thus biting to the trap. While Danile was nosing around, Alex told Tiala the story about Daniel being the student possesing the book. Later, Daniel arrived after Alex delivered the news.

Alex winked at Danielle, kind of like a thumbs up...This way they both understood. "Or how about the time I fell of my broom while riding to Galscow? That one was a shocker. Or maybe..." Alex couldn't contain himself. He fell onto the floor laughing, tears streaming out of his eyes.

Daniel looked at Alex. What’s up, he thought. He saw him lying on the floor, laughing out loud, tears flowing down his eyes. He stretched out his hand to help the shuddering guy. “What are you doing? Lying there?” he inquired. “And what’s funny?”

"Uhh..." said Danielle, looking at Daniel then Tiala. She covered her mouth as it was obvious she was laughing but didn't want to make it a big commotion. But she gave in anyway.

Everyone in the room looked at her, including Alex who was still laughing. They both laughed together and it seems like no one in the room understood them. She finally said, "I'm sorry. Laughs are highly contagious to me. I can laugh when I hear someone laugh."

Alex got up from his seat. "I...I'm going to get something to eat." He said, still chuckling. "Anyone want anything?" He gave a sharp look at Danielle, kind of urging her to come along to the food car.

"I'll come with you. I have to go the bathroom to freshen up and hope I don't soil myself with all the laughing," said Danielle who got up and started brushing her robes.

"Anyone else want anything?" she asked again. Everyone shook their heads and said, 'No thanks.'

"Well, see you then," she said with a smile and together with Ale, she walked out of the coach.

"We've got to be more carefull." Alex said as they exited the compartment. "If we dont, he's sure to catch on. He's quite close already." Alex said as they reached the food car.

"It's obvious he is, Alex," said Danielle, tying her long hair into a firm ponytail. "I'm beginning to get more and more suspicious about him. I mean, is it me or he's a bit.. weird?" asked Danielle.

They both sat down quite far away from others. To avoid other ears from hearing what were they discussing about. You can never be too careful about it. "What do you think he's gonna do next? Any idea?" she asked.

"He's not weird, he's more...Strange. But according to the Prophecy, his next move is getting the Book...Unless he's already got it. But either way, he'll unearth Set...Which wont be delightfull." Alex explained, his eyes looking serious.

"Well.. okay he's strange then. How can a Hogwarts student unearth a powerful Egyptian god? I mean.. he must be fantastic in DADA to do something like that," said Danielle, who was looking at Alex seriously. This time, they weren't joking about it.

"Well, not exactly. Ancient magic isn't magic to be fooled around with, of course. But it's quite easy. Speak the words of the Gods, and all will be revealed." Alex said, but as he spoke the last word, an idea popped into his brain. "We can put Set back! Just speak the Ancient words from the book of Amun Ra! That book takes away life!" He paused. There was once glitch in this plan. "But how do we get it?"

"Err.. Isn't the book in Egypt? Or some other place than here? Wait... take away life? Now thats some serious business. Are you sure you wanna do this? It sounds dangerous," said Danielle, looking worried.

"Are you sure you and I are capable of doing such things like what you're thinking of? I do think it's a fine idea... It's just.. are we capable and how is it going to work?" asked Danielle in a low voice. "I'm totally up for it and do you want anyone else involved with this crazy plan of yours?"

"Well, it wouldn't actually be taking away life. Just sending his soul back to the underworld. Set's soul, not Daniel's." Alex said quickly, seeing the look on Danielle's face. "I think Daniel is under am Ancient spell. If we send Set's soul back, I think the spell should be broken. After all, Set is the one who wants to come back alive. As for us being up to it? I dont think just you and I will do. Ancient magic will tire a normal wizard...But a group of wizards? That's another story." He wasn't sure if anyone else would beleive his tale.

Daniel was still confused on what had just happen. Alex and Danielle are actin strange, he thought. What are they upto? He sat down again and slumped on his seat.
