Plot

The Book of the Dead is consisted of texts, religious and poetic, which are songs, hymns to the gods, and prayers to Amon-Re and Osiris. These texts were supposed to aid the dead, giving the soul directions for the journey through the underworld and words or magic spells to protect it from its enemies.

Now...
The Ministry of Magic (of England) received a letter from the Minister of Egyptian Magic Office saying that "The Book of the Dead" was missing since the 29th of August. It also said that he (Minister of England) should tell it among the wizards and witches to be careful.

Few more days, the new term in Hogwarts would soon open. But what should the students, the staff, and even ghosts should do to be secure in their school. Then a new problem bloomed... one of the students HAVE the book. But which one of them?!

Danielle got back from the dining cart.. chewing on some Liquorice Wands. She decided to go back for another try.. Her best friend, Fiona had moved to America and she's left with several but no best friends.

"Hey again.. everyone.. I got some Liquorice Wands.. Want some?" she said, offering some candy to them.

Erica looked away from the window when she heard the talk of the Book of Dead. She had heard and read that the book had been stolen from Egypt during the Break. It had interested quite a bit. She wasn’t worried about what trouble some one would cause she was more attracted to the thought of someone figuring how to use it.

Tibbs smiled at the girl and boy and scooted over so they could sit down. She said, " What if the person who had it didn't know how to use it? What if they just knew it was worth a lot." she tucked her silvery hair behind her ears.

“Yes--what if they sold it?--sold it to somebody not as good as them?” Erica thought out loud with out thinking. She then whispered, “Sorry.” after she realized that they hadn’t invited her into their conversation and then she realized that she was eavesdropping.

Tibbs commented on what Erica said, " So all we know is that one wrong move and this book could ruin the world. Whoever has it has to be very careful, maybe not even read it... I heard that whoever read it would be cursed..." SHe shifted a bit and fidled with something in side of her pockett then said, " Do you think a student could have it?" She looked into Josh's eyes, got chills down her spine, then became interested in her nails.

For some reason Erica didn’t like her name being spoken in the presences of so many people of whom she did not know. She pushed her hair off of her shoulder and then continued looking out of the window, trying not to get involved with anything that wasn’t her business. Though she couldn’t help but resumed to listen.
