Cadence and Nate walked all the way through the grounds of Hogwarts, out the Front Gates, and down the path to Hogsmeade. After wondering around in the streets of Hogsmeade, they decided to stop in Madame Pudifoots. They walked into the cozy little tea shop; it was basically deserted, but it was warm. Cadence chose a table and sat down.

"So, what do we want to order?" she asked Nate, her eyes scanning the menu.

"How about some cheesecake and some pumpkin juice? Those are always good." he said holding her hand across the table. He hated sitting across from people but he didn't want to make her move to a booth. His knee bumped hers when he scooted close to the table. He blushed a little but didn't say anything.

Cadence smiled at him again but decided to play hard to get and not return the playful gesture. She flipped her hair behind her shoulder and just looked at him for a moment. "What do you do for fun in Florida?" she asked curiously.

"Well, it depends where you live. I used to live in a small town where everybody knew each other so we had a really big group of guys play soccer or baseball. Sometimes we would go surfing. On Friday nights we all bring our girlfriends, or just some guy friends, to the drive-in movie. How about you? Cadence felt him move away slightly under the table, so without the slightest change of expression, she stretched out her legs and put her feet on top of his. Then she just stared at him, trying to make sense of what he said. Cadence had thought she knew quite a lot about the Muggle world... until she made Nate who was obviously much more accustomed to it. "Um... what are surfing and drive-in movies, Nate?" She would answer his question after he answered hers.

"Oh! I'm sorry Cadikins! Drive-in movies is where you drive in a car to this big field and a huge white sheet pulled taught on two poles. They project one movie a week on to it and you borrow a speaker to hear it. Surfing is like riding a big wave in the ocean, which is like a gaint lake, on a piece of wood that is painted and carved a certain way." he said placing one his hands on her knee without changing expression.

"I would like that... a lot..." and I meant the snogging in the car part, more than the actual watching a movie outside. Hearing the jingle of the little bell over the door, Sapphira glanced up from her book and sighed. 'Looks like it's time to work,' she thought, flipping her book upside down upon the counter.

She walked out from behind the counter and marched up to the table. "Yeah yeah hi. What can I get you?" she asked.

"Well, we weren't given much free time at my school, plus I was involved in clubs: Chorale, or choir, and Thespians, or theatre. So, I spent most of my time doing activities with them. I also used to work on community service... raising money and food drives... that kind of stuff. When I was with my parents, though, I don't really remember what we did. We always had fun... just the three of us... the Three Musketeers my mom used to say. We were always laughing and making up games or I'd make them be in silly shows with me." Cadence smiled as she remembered and looked down at the table. She missed her parents a lot, and she tried not to think about them as much as possible because it was still too hard. Nate made things better, though. Much better.

She looked back up to him and smiled at him. "Have you heard from your parents, yet?"

Cadence smiled up at the woman who had come to take their order. It was cute that Nate had ordered for them. Cadence loved that Nate made her feel taken care of; she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself, but it made her feel good to know that Nate would take care of her, too. And then she giggled at his comment about the owls. "Yeah, some of those owls are getting pretty old! I wish I would have known, I would have let you borrow Arya. And by Arya, I mean my owl, not that firstie from Muggle Studies." she explained with another giggle.

Slipping the empty tray under her arm, Sapphira grabbed up the money and headed back to her book, offering little more than a backwards glance at the students. Then she laid the tray haphazardly on the counter and returned back to her reading as if the little interruption hadn't occured.

Cadence giggled with him as he laughed. "Your turn!" she said, picking up the fork, putting a bite of cheesecake on it, and holding it in front of his mouth, waiting for him to eat it.
