Ugh. Did she have to bring up the luau. Was she purposely tortureing him? He was sure she had noticed how much he liked her...and then she got with her unofficial boyfriend. Did she have to bring all that up. He groaned inwardly.

"It was fine," said Jenkins stiffly.

Lili couldn't help but notice that he seemed a little tense. Choosing to avoid it for now, she tried to think of something else to say. Coming up blank she just ate some of her ice cream.

An owl suddenly arrives with the seal of Beaxbatons upon the envelope. The grammar has been cleaned up, but the message is obvious, and is marked of special importance. Quickly eating the rest of her ice cream so she wouldn't get any of her ice cream on it she brushed her hands together quickly to get the crumbs off her hands.

Retreiving the owl of the letter she watched as it flew away before she opened it up.

Ohh, Liliana thought. This can't be good. What was she supposed to do. Think this through would be a good place to start she thought. What would be the best thing for her to do.

Suddenly remembering that Jenkins was still in her office she turned to him, "Sorry Jenkins, but I've really got to get back to work." She paused, thinking for a second before she added, "Would you mind asking Iain to head in here as soon as you get back to you're office?" Now she only needed to get Jacob and Iridesca.

Wow. She was completely oblivious. She wanted him to get Iain, Mr, Hunter, her unofficial boyfriend. Jenkins sighed, "Yes, of course Ms. Hayman," he said, leaving.

Iridesca wandered to Lili's office. She wanted to make sure how her Department Head felt about the Luau and possibly trying to do some other get together in the future to get the blood of the department running a little bit more. She wandered over to the door and knocked before sitting down and waiting. While she waited she pulled a book out of her bag. She loved Muggle books about vampires and wolves and wizards. They were always so unrealistic in her opinion.

Lili thanked Jenkins as he walked out, and the letter still in hand she went to the door and opened it. Just as someone knocked on it. "Iridesca," she said, "I was just on my way to find you, come in, and sit down for a minute, I've got to go get Jacob and then I'll be right back."

Excusing herself, she left her office, letter still tight in her hand and went to find Jacob.

After getting the message from Jenkin's Iain moved through the hall swiftly to Lili's office. He passed her in the hall and shot a wink at her when no-one else was looking at him. He really needed to ask her on another date. He didn't like the thought of his new employee getting to her before he did. That wouldn't do at all. No it wouldn't.

With that decision made, Iain decided to ask her to his for dinner again at the end of this meeting. He tapped on the office door, and then walked in anyway since he knew that she wasn't in the office and was away to find something, or someone. He smiled at Iridesca when he found her sitting in the office. He would just about bet anything, on Lili coming back with Jacob.

He smiled at the thought, and turned to Iridesca again. "How are you doing today Iri?" He asked her with a fond smile as he moved the chair next to her to face her a little before sitting down to wait.

Right, she hoped that Jacob was close behind her, but she needed to fill in all her division heads on the letter that she was still clutching tight in her hand.

She walked back through the open door to her office, glad to see what Iain was indeed there now. She closed the door gently behind her and went and sat down behind her desk. Hopefully Jacob got here soon, but she didn't feel that she should wait.

Turning to both Iridesca and Iain she, for the first time, set down the letter that she had been clutching so tightly for the last little while. "The reason why I have asked you guys to come here is because I just received a letter from Beauxbatons," she paused, taking a deep breath to slow herself down. "They seem extremely worried about the lack of students that they have. Their main concern seems to be the amount of transfer students currently attenting Hogwarts. I felt like this should be brought to your attention right away." She took a minute to calm her thoughts, and organize them for the first time in the last hour. "We should notify the Department of Education right away, Samantha, their head, should know about this as soon as possible," she explained, hoping that this wouldn't become problamatic.

Iridesca was fixing to do the regular hellos to Iain but as soon as she was going to open her mouth Lili came back in so she decided to save her hellos for later.
She listened intently to the news Lili was sharing with them.

"Wow, my niece had mentioned there were a lot of transfers this year, but I never thought it would cause an issue." she paused and her usually smiling face became more determined and focused as a thought came to her. " I wonder if this is just at Beauxs or if it's the same at the other wizarding schools. We should investigate because if it includes a majority of other wizarding schools then we may have a small issue that needs attention."

She hoped she hadn't just rambled on and on and that her comments made sense...well they did her in brain atleast.

"At the moment, I feel that we should just inform Samantha about this," Lili said, after she had listened to what Iridesca had said. "But it is definitley something we should keep an eye on." She said, hoping once again that it wasn't something that would become a major problem.

Jacob rushed to Liliana's office as fast as his medium length legs would carry him. Apparation crossed his mind, but not having ever tested that mode of transportation inside the Ministry, Jacob didn't want to risk any sort of Apparation prevention magics within its walls.

After far too much time, Jacob reached the door. He opted not to knock, hoping Liliana would forgive both his lateness and his lack of courtesy. Half stumbling, Jacob barged into the room and crashed into the nearest seat, apoligising profusely. "I'm so, so sorry," he gasped, out of breath. "So so so so sorry."

Iain looked up as Lili walked into her office and sent a reassuring smile her way. She looked gorgeous while intent and stressed, and silently he wondered if that was a bad thing to be thinking. Hmm. Either way, she was stunning and he needed to talk to her after this meeting.

His head cocked to the side as she started to talk to them. Lots of transfers... Hmm. He thought, as she continued to mention that the letter should be given to Samantha. “I can ask Abilee if she would take the letter up to Sam while we consider the way to monitor this.” He added after Iridesca made her own statement allowed. Iain was wondering the same thing, if there were loads of transfer students from all of the Schools, what was happening at Hogwarts to make them transfer?

Iain nodded again, as Liliana made her own statement. “As I said...” He started, when Jacob came into the meeting. “Hey Jacob.” He said in greeting before turning back to the females. “I can get Abilee to take the letter to Samantha.”

Lili looked up from her conversation as the door opened and closed again. She was just about to tell the person that they would have to come back later. It wasn't really the time to be interupted, when she noticed that it was Jacob that had come in. Glad that he hadn't waited for the door to be opened she smiled reasurringly at him and said, "don't worry about it Jacob, you haven't missed much."

She took the letter that was in her hand still and took out her wand as well. Making three extra copies of the letter she handed one to each division head. "This is what we've been going over," she told Jacob. "I just recieved this letter, and we're deciding what the best method would be to deal with this." She paused for a minute and pushed some of her blonde hair out of her eyes. "I think everyone here is in agreeance that Samantha, the head of Education, needs to be notified of this right away," she said, hoping that everyone did agree with that, and at the same time filling Jacob in on what had been said.

Lili couldn't help but smile back slightly as Iain smiled at her when she walked back into the room. She'd come to love his smiles, and the really helped calm herself down right now.

Now that Jacob was seated she handed out a copy of the duplicated letter to all three of them for them to read over. (ooc. just read it from up there^^) She gave them a couple minutes to read it over before she started talking again. Abilee she thought, I think I remember who that is. Yes. That would be a good person to take the letter down. "I agree Iain, Abilee would be excellent to take the letter up to Samantha. I'll just send her a memo now to come and join us, so that she can be here as soon as possible," she said, as she reached into a drawer to pull out a piece of parchment already charmed for interdepartmental memos. Dipping a quill in ink, she began to right to her. "That'll do," she said, as she watched the letter fly out of her office.

Abilee had gotten the memo from Lili. Apparentaly, from what she had written, she had to rush towards her office. She knocked on her door and waited for Lili to answer.

Truly hoping that this was Abilee on the other side of her door she got up to let her in. Pulling the door open she smiled as she saw the young woman. "Come on in," she told her with a smile.

Lili went back to her desk, tucking her hair behind her eyes as she went, she should just put it up, but she liked wearing it down more. Taking out her wand once again she made another duplicate of the letter and took out her quill and added something, so that it now looked like this;



Sealing the letter with her wand, she handed it to Abilee. "Please take this directly up to Level One. It's to go to Samantha Rose, the department head. Also, please tell her who it is from," she hoped that Abilee didn't mind being asked to do this.

Entering, Abilee saw a letter sitting on Lili's desk.

"Sure. I'll go right away." she smiled and took the letter off her desk. Turning to walk out, Abilee let out a small sigh and walked. Her heels could be heard in the quiet department, clicking away.


Coming back from downstairs, Abilee entered Lili's office and gave her the letter.

Iridesca watched Abilee take the note and head out to spread the word. She looked back at Lili and asked, "Well, what do you need us Division Heads to do now? I know we can't do too much until we get a reply back from the Education Department, but do we need to have our teams start doing some research into things or what...." Iridesca was a get up and get things done kind of gal and she really hated just sitting around talking about things...Let's get this party started she thought. She looked at the other Division Heads hoping that one of them would want to get started on something too. She had a feeling that her Division hadn't had much to do in the last few weeks.

But as she waited for the reply back from the Education Department, she had a quick thought...."Lili, I have some posters from the Independent Campaign Headquarters to help remind peeps to Vote. Do you mind if I put them up around our Department? They are very neutral but are just a reminder." she felt like this was a simple request.

"Right now, there is not much that we can do, just continue on the way you have been," Lili said to Iridesca. Just as she finished talking, Abilee walked back into the room and handed her a letter. Taking it fror her she said, "thank you Abilee," and opened it up to read. Going quickly over the note she signed. For now, all she could do would be to look into it, and wait to see what happened next. After she had finished reading it she turned her attention back to Iridesca.

"Go ahead and put up some posters reminding them to vote," she said, though she thought, she should put some up Cooper Campaign posters as well with the voting day drawing so near.

Eteria gave a knock on the door of the Department Head's office. She had just arrived from her hometown and was anxious to hear what division she would be placed in. She had....kind of squealed when she got her letter of acceptance to the Ministry. Not like she was gonna tell anyone that, though.

There was another knock on the door, and Lili, glad for a change to stretch her legs got up to answer the door. She pulled open the door and smiled at her the woman on the other side of the door. "Come on in and take a seat," she told the woman politely. She closed the door gently behind her and went back around to sit in the chair behind her desk. Once she was seated again she asked, "How may I help you?"

Iain nodded, and listened to everything that was said. He nodded when they said something he agreed with, and said nothing when he wasn't sure if the statements were needed. He gave Abilee a small smile when she came into the office and nodded his thanks when she came back.

He silently wondered who the employee's were voting for, and knew that Lili was backing Cooper while he was supporting Raegan. Silently, he wondered when he would actually get a chance to speak to Lili and get confirmation that she still wanted to get to know him through a few dates. He grinned a little, and really hoped she would. He liked her too much to be rejected.

My boss is a girl? SWEET! Eteria stepped into the office and took a seat in front of the Department Head's desk. She was observing random things in this ministry. Hopefully it would be more exciting than her last job as a shopkeeper for a bookstore. That was dreadfully boring. Her mind was rambing again. When she heard a question, she shook her head and focused on the boss lady. "My name's Eteria Sarantos and I'm here to get my division assignment. I'm still trying to get used to this ministry building so forgive me if I'm late one time. I got lost on the way here actually."

Lili was only to aware that Iain was still in her office. But she'd have to wait to talk to him. Happy that he seemed content for now, she turned to the woman who'd just walked through the door.

The look on her face, you'd think she was really surprised to see me, Lili thought. Pulling her mind away from her puzzling thoughts, she answered Eteria when she had finished talking. "It's very nice to meet you Eteria. I'm Liliana Hayman, you're new Department Head," she said. "Make sure you make yourself familiar with the building then," a tint of joking in her voice as she talked. Being late once was perfectly acceptable. "I have placed you in the British Seats Division. You're division head is Jacob Webster, so make sure you introduce yourself to him when you go to the British Seats office," she informerd Eteria. "Don't forget to put you're information in the filing cabinet before you leave," she reminded her friendly.

Iain simply pulled out a clipboard and started to jot down a few ideas on Trade that his staff could start to look into. He waited until Lili had finished talking to Eteria and then smiled at her. "Jacob got called away this morning on a personal matter... If you need any help, I am the Division Head of Trade, I am always available if you need assistance." He gave the girl a warm smile and then turned back to his clipboard without even realising that he hadn't supplied the new woman with his name.

Listening to everything Lili had to say, Eteria nodded to her and pushed a piece of her hair back. "This will be the last time I'm late, I can assure you." Grinning, she rose from her seat and stretched. "Thanks for accepting me here. I think I'm gonna like it." I think I'm gonna like it a lot. Maybe a cute guy around here? That'd be nice to bring home. She already had her paperwork filled out to put in the filing cabinet so she nodded to Lili and the other man who was in the office before she walked out. "Thank you for the warm welcome by the way." With that she walked out of the office to put her information in the filing cabinet and to introduce herself to her division head.

Just after that little break of filing the last cases handled by the Department, Diana took a little trip to the breakroom, then wandered around the halls back to her desk just when it ocurred into her head visiting Liliana. Her smile widened and decided to walk towards her office.

She knocked on the door, but it was swung open. Ehh..."Good day,..." Di greeted, "everyone..." she added when she saw Iridesca, Iain and a NEW member to the staff.Sweet!

She cleared her throat and smiled at everyone in the room.
