Gosh, paperback seems like such an afterthought when everyone rushed out to buy this in hard back the day it went on sale....I cannot imagine at this point many people saying "oh great, i can read the book now,,,,it is finally in paperback..."

Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.

but you know, laws of economics or whatever, they will always release them in paperback someday, specially for those who considers the hardbound version to be rather pricey.

I actually like to own both the hard cover and paperback version of all of my favorite books. That way I can read them over and over without worrying about tearing them up. And the hard cover stays perfect. But that's just me.

YAY!
400 million!
The thing about paperback is that I bet lots of not that hardcore hp readers wanted to wait until dh came out in paperback because hardback is quite pricey.

Actually, you have a great point on this one....I also find that my kids are more likely to read paperback books anyways...because, let's face it, Deathly Hallows and the three before it are quite big for a 9 year girl to hold and read. It is nice to collect the different covers from different countries though. Not all of them, of course, just the cooler art work.
