No love for Alan Rickman? No nom for best British production? I am so Disappointed in BAFTA. I know they gave HP that achievement award last year, but still... HP has done so much for British film, employment, economy, etc. And they did it making superb films. A LOT more gratitude and appreciation is in order.

I so agree. I mean it's great that they got reconized at all, but it should definitely be more!
I can't help but be disappointed in BAFTA too. At least HP got special recognition from them last year, if that counts.
I feel like the only reason they gave them that award is because they knew they would never nominated Potter for the big awards. No matter the quality.
Really? Was anyone surprised that HP DH2 was not going to be nominated for anything other than special effects? Sadly, Alan has done better roles and it would have been nice to at least be recognized for the role. Oh well, that is the one nomination I was sad to see BAFTA missed. I wouldnt hold my breath for the Oscars either. Only special awards to be given and recognized. I am sure in the future they will win all sorts of awards as an HBO series and then we shall see who has the last laugh.
Congratulations are in order for the nominations HP did get, but yeah, like everyone else, I'm a little bummed that even the BAFTAs didn't recognize the quality of the last film. I'm still scratching my head as to where The Artist popped up from...
