Hello everyone!

I hope you're all doing well and are as excited about us meeting each other as I am - well, YOU will mostly be meeting me but I'm excited all the same.

A little bit about me to start us off: My name is Lisa and I'm from a small(ish) country in central Europe called Austria (yes, the one from The Sound of Music). I moved to Vienna 9 years ago for university and...just stayed here, living in my small apartment with my two cats. I have a Masters in Media and Communication Science and am currently working part time at university while also looking for a full-time job.

I joined SnitchSeeker...wow, almost 12 years ago in December of 2007 and have been more or less consistently active onsite since then. I've gone through a few positions on site but right now I moderate the FanFiction area (also known as Honeydukes around here) and the Newbie Forum. AND I play one of the department heads in our Ministry of Magic RPG.

Liiiiiiiiiisa you hold SUCH a special place in my SS experience as the very first Hogwarts staff member that I ever interacted on a personal and individual level both IC and OOC and helped make my first term in the School RPG (back in term 26!) special I think I still have that baseball sketch saved somewhere

1. What are the top five places or things to do that you would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Vienna?

2. Rumor has it you enjoy a zoo visit or two, what are some of your favorite animals to observe at them and why?

3. What happened all the way back in December 2007 that brought you to site?

1) Hmm. Right now I'd say The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

2) ...assuming I don't have any signal otherwise I'd bring my phone. My eReader, portable solar panels so I can charge the eReader, and my sunglasses.

3) The fact that I've met some really amazing people from all over the world on this site. Also that we encourage each other in our every day endeavors as well as in our writing and/or other creative outlets (graphics etc.)

Hiii!

Honestly, I studied something else for a year (which translates to...Theater, Film, and Media Studies) and realized that the "media studies" part was the only thing that truly interested me, so I changed and I never regretted it for one second. I find studies that focus on society (in any form) incredibly interesting.

1) lol how much time do you have, it'll take approximately three years. In short...Shido is incredibly empathetic, not just towards me and his sister but he also gets anxious when he hears children/babies cry in the streets. Lilli on the other hand is just very...cat-like. She LOVES to be pet and demands it too.

2) the fact that it's my main creative outlet, I think. And I like the idea of contributing to SnitchSeeker being that (or something else) to other people too. :3

N'aww. Thank you for all the questions.

1) Visit me. Visit my cats. Also me. My apartment. And me. The zoo, the two palaces (Belvedere and Schönbrunn), a walk around the first district, eat a halloumi burger in our favorite pub.

2) Who told you? Hmm. I love all animals tbh but during our visits at the Viennese zoo, I usually linger by the (baby) goats a lot. Which might sound trivial lol but I love them. Also the orang-utans.

3) I was on a different Harry Potter RPing site before that and it closed down and so I googled (trying to find it again lol) and found SnitchSeeker instead.

4) ................I'm drawing a blank right now lol.

Rotiiiii. Yes, you HAVE to!

1) I can't say. It depends on who I play with. And also the when. Sometimes I prefer playing a character that's quiet, sometimes I prefer playing one that's all EXCITED (-> Siobhán), and then at other times I really enjoy playing very drama-prone characters (...Maggie for instance). So I really don't have a favorite character. Although Olly is VERY special to me.

2) Hahaha. Oh gosh. I can't even compare the two tbh. XD I love them both? And they're SO different. I mean Nancy will always have a special place in my heart, being my very first character and all that. But then, I also really enjoy playing Cameron because he's so....straightforward.

3) Uhm. I feel very basic for saying that but I do love London. Just...being there (ignoring all politics for now lol). Just the feeling there. Idk. But that's only the one city so idk if I'd say England is my favorite COUNTRY to visit........hm......I really like Belgium?

4) ...hahah. I'm NOT gonna answer that.

I do like dogs but I wouldn't want to have one myself and they scare me sometimes. I like most animals though, to be honest.

Gosh I mean I know that I'd met horses before that (there are photos and stuff) but my first REAL memory of interacting with a horse was when my mum started riding again when I was...uh...10 or 11 and I remember that I was SO scared of even just petting the horse lol. All of that changed clearly but the first time at that age I was just really really scared.

And no, I have not. </3 Now I feel like a bad owner.

1) awwww. <3 well, it's really just a nickname for my name "Lisa". My mothertongue is German and "-chen" (the "ch" is pronounced sort of like a "j" in Spanish btw @ all you non-German speakers) is a suffix used to imply something is cute.

3) it was probably a German German word. I've recently (had to) read through a lot of not very nice Facebook posts and there were a few insults that I can't get out of my head, not because they were particularly mean but rather because somehow I thought they were really funny?? One that stuck with me was someone calling a group of people "Nachttischlampen" which translates to "bedside lamps", which I somehow considered to be such a funny way of insulting someone?? Idk. xD
4) honestly, not really. I'm way too practical to even WANT more because my apartment isn't big enough and then also three cats, that's just bound to end up with one of them feeling being left out, right? </3

1) Song of Achilles Good Omens was immensely entertaining and so well written. <3

2) Their personalities tbh. Like, Lilli is your typical cat, very needy and demanding. And then Shido is just so...caring? It's cute.
