Meet DanialRadFAN01
Hey guys! I’m one of the two awesome mods you get to meet in December!
So for those of you who do not know me yet, my name is Chris, which is pretty ordinary isn’t it? Shame it couldn’t be something crazy like…Spurlock. *shrugs* Anyways…what have I done around here? Well we shall start at the beginning. Yep! I joined SS in September of 2008, my sophomore year of High School after coming across it while looking for Harry Potter movie info and have been active since. This was my first RPG site and I was very excited to get into the thick of things and interact with all the other HP fans out there.
I was lucky enough to join the site during a School RPG sorting and was sorted into Gryffindor. I rped my first character two terms and then was asked to be prefect. After Prefecting for 3 consecutive terms I was asked to be Head Boy for the School. After that character I had another and am now on my third. I also help out with the coding of the School RPG yearbook and have played Quidditch around 4 terms. Shortly being sorted into the school RPGI eagerly joined the Ministry of Magic RPG and was hired into the Dept. of Magical Transportation, was then promoted to Division Head and finally to Department Head, a position I still hold today.
Outside of the RPGs I have been very active in the Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes Games and Fan Club forums. I frequented both forums a lot and played all of the games and became the President or an officer of many fan clubs. In July 2011 I was asked to be a mod for both of these sections and I still happily help watch over these two spots.
Outside of SS I am a first year University student studying Secondary Education English/Literature and am also a History nerd. I love watching some television shows and a huge fan of movies. I jam out a lot to my Ipod while running or working on homework. I wait tables while not at school to help get that money to see the movies I love so much! Now I haven’t told EVERYTHING about myself so…
…away my dear friends! Quote:
Ask me a question to get to know me better! (questions about the site or your sorting or posts don't belong here, those should be asked in the Questions and Answers thread)
Spam will be deleted, as will any non question posts, or posts that indicate you haven't read this first post.

Just kidding! Actually it isn't all that hard for me really. I've sort of lucked out in the fact that I really don't need to study for things like tests and quizzes in school and all the time that most students have had to use for studying, I could use at least part of it for SS. My job right now is just a part-time one while Im in Uni, and I only work when the semesters are on break. And my friends and I just hang out most of the times in our dorms and when we are doing that sometimes I will just break out my laptop. But we do go to parties and movies and such where I take a break.
Its all about balance and even though SS is really fun, sometimes breaks have to happen because Real Life calls.
Great Question! Quote:

I have the Elder Wand/Dumbledor's wand, a Hogwarts crest mug, a Gryffindor Quidditch T-shirt, a quill, and a Gryffindor tie all from my trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme park this past summer.
I also have an Emma Watson, Steve Kloves, and David Heyman autographs. Quote:

And my thing with Horror movies are this: I like an interesting story and actual event, I don't like gore that much or pointlessness. Quote:

Well my favorite non-HP movie changes a lot obviously but I would say it would probably be 'Catch Me if You Can'. Quote:

I actually used to. When I was first born we lived with my grandparents and they had just gotten a Golden Retriever/Rotwhiler mix (he looked like a black golden retriver! So cute!) named Zeus. We grew up together and I miss him very much.
When I was in middle school my mother took in two kittens, brother and sister, Angel (white) and Salem (black). They had survived a house fire. I loved them very much too.
Mirror of Erised question! Such a hard one. Umm my family's full happiness? I guess. Quote:

Yay for another history nerd! I majored in history at university, now I'm in graduate school for primary-grade teacher certification. Neat that we sort of have those things in common.
What is your favorite part of the Middle Ages/Renaissance period? What in particular draws you to that time, or is it more the flavor of period that you enjoy?
Also, AVPM and AVPS? Winning! | |

I really enjoyed reading about the Lords and surfs, aswell as the knights and artisans. The whole social standing stuff with duels and whatnot was always very interesting to me.
OH YEAH! I loooove those videos. Snape, Draco, and Voldemort are made of Win!! Quote:

I checked out the first book when I was in third grade after my librarian said it would be too hard for me. After I checked it out anyways, I finished the book by the end of the week, the first movie came out right after that. Quote:
