HI!

Welcome to SS, welcome to August (my favourite month of the year!), HI! My name is Ali, and I'll be one of the lucky folk who gets to be interrogated this month.

I'm currently the Forums Manager, so work behind the scenes mostly, aiming to make the SS forums as good as they can be for our awesome members (like YOU!). I moderate a few other forums and have held various positions in the past from news-ing to prefect-ing.

HI JESS! Honesty, you say? Well, that's because there's a bunch of awesome people born this month. Also, I love the word August. It's such a pretty word. 8 is my lucky number too, again linking to August.

Erm that's a hard one... I don't know?! I've recently taken a liking to cheese toasties with their various fillings, but I can't imagine them forever.

Pasta, imma say. Why? Because it can be eaten hot, cold, and with or without lots of others (which I guess I'm not allowed to have as its only one thing forever... XD)

That is a good question, and geekily enough, I would teach what I'm studying - pharmacy. And if considering the magical subjects, potions because potions is so similar to some elements of pharmacy. Part of my potential career plan DOES actually involve me wanting to become a teacher-practitioner.

That is an interesting one, because Two-Face aside, most of the villains I really like. From the comics and films, I'd say Joker, but from the others, Ra's Al Ghoul and Riddler are ones I enjoy, too... also, Dr Crane/Scarecrow I like as a character, the villain side of him doesn't interest me though. XD

Can't I just say Spiderman for Marvel and Batman for DC? I genuinely like BOTH a crazy amount. I love the idea of Spiderman, especially in the earlier comics and the new movies, too, whilst Batman is BATMAN. No other words need to explain how amazing he is, aside from "BECAUSE HE'S BATMAN..." (HISHE reference... ).

Can I say "be Spiderman?" -- his super power(s) are the best... but otherwise, it would be the ability to fly. Wouldn't that be just awesome?

AHHH Schrucklenoofer... it's a very special planet with very special inhabitants, and can be found three steps into space so long that you invert the spectra-guided navigation system whilst tilting the rocket to a 32.8 angle. Look for the rainbow, you may even see the pot of gold.

That is a SUPER question. My favourite word is serendipity, as I love the way the word looks and sounds, but moreso, the idea of serendipity - lucky mistake - has always been something I find fascinating. The field of study I'm in, so many important discoveries have been made by serendipity and I find that incredible.

My favourite peanuts character... is the crunchy one. Because I don't know what peanuts is. Also, aquamarine is better than turquoise, because whilst turquoise reminds me of tortoises, aquamarine makes me think of water pokemon.

HI MBT PERSON! Interrogations, aaargh!

1) My most favourite weirdaussiekangagirl? That's not even a question, everyone KNOWS the answer to that... Kylie Minogue, right?
2) I LIKE watermelon. :wtermlon: I had some last night. ^___^
3) Thursday nights depend on what I'm doing the Friday morning. If I'm at work, sleep is nice. If I'm not, the possibilities are infinite but sleep is probs the most likely XD
4) I have a few favourite SS memories... there's been a bunch of MOMENTS which I consider very special, indeed. One in particular, was in this VERY FORUM (although it was referred to as the Newbie Hut back then)
5) My eccentricity. No doubt without it. Also, I'll be known for being the first person to conquer the universe and have afternoon tea with aliens. Nothing too big, though, I'm kind of a modest person.

It's absolutely crazy, but all is in order now that the two Ali's are taking over August. XD Profile stalking is THE thing to do

1) Oooh, I'm a fan of the song and alphabet games in WWW, but also the "Person Above, Below and I" games. And in general, most of WWW. XD (I bet y'all are figuring out that i'm awful at picking a FAVOURITE! )
2) Well..... I would consider myself a Ninja Warrior House elf. I'm no ruthless warrior, but similarly, I'm more than a house elf.
3) My SS story is blurry... I was reading OotP, and was abroad... and I think I was looking for some news/discussions once I'd finished the book? Then the discussions and FF kept me here.

Rawrrrrrrr! WHEN I get free time (it's so rare nowadays!!) I watch movies, play my guitar, and generally laze around. XD Plus, being with family and friends is always a nice one to do.

I'll try to keep existing, then...

My favourite movie quote of all time is.... I don't have ONE favourite. There's many... from Potter, for example, "What's coming will come and we'll meet it when it does" is a special one to me, but then there's plenty other quotes that either amuse me, or mean something.

As for a perfect day.... gosh, I'm awful at answering these. XD I don't have a PERFECT DAY in my head, but, it would be one where I'd get a bunch of stuff done, see people, do more stuff, and generally end the day with a "woah, how crazy" (to be fair, days like this DO happen so I'm content with what I've got...) That aside... Superpowers.

1. My favourite season is probably summer, as I love the way the sunlight enters my room a few hours before it sets. Also - thunder is something I'm a fan of.
2. As I don't really have any pets, I'm going to say that my favourite animal is SIMBA from Lion King... or Lions in general. On a familial note, though, I'm a fan of cats.
3. I'm bouncing between comedy, adventure and action... but would have to go with comedy, and it's various offshoots (comedy-drama, romcoms, etc) as life's no fun without some laughs.
