Terry walks in the office hoping to have a word with her favorite great uncle. Although they haven't seen each other in several years, she is confident he will remember her. She walks around the office and reads his many certificates and citations. Through the years her father had told her stories of her uncle's many explots with the Order and the Ministry, so she is surprised he has decided to settle for the dull job of teaching flying at Hogwarts. Terry decides to take a seat in one of the chairs by the desk and wait for her uncle's return.

hi i'm Hanna a frst year Gryffindor. i just wanted to introduce my-self, and i am looking forward to your class!

Prewett walks in after hearing some stirring in his office. "Well hello Hanna, it seems we're both new here, I suppose we'll be ssing alot of each other since I'm alsohelping out the Head of House for Gryffindor...good luck this term." Then he turns to a face that seems distanly familiar to him. "Teresa? ....is that you....I didn't know you're were attending Hogwarts," he thinks about it for a minute, "well I guess that's right.....let's see you're in your .....fourth year?"

Terry walks over and gives her long lost uncle a big hug. "More like my fifth year,uncle. Lets see, the last time we got a letter from you it seems you were hunting down dark wizards in Albania or was it South America? Dad going to be so surprised when I tell him your at Hogwarts and teaching flying no less. Have you met the DADA teacher, Professor Rae? She's a former aurora too. I imagine you'll have alot to talk about. By the way I go by Terry around school, Uncle Gideon, and I guess I'd better start calling you Professor Prewett. I don't think Head Master Hendrik's would like me call you Uncle Gideon in class." Terry says with a smile on her face.

*takes a seat in Professor Prewitt's office* Hello professor. I just wanted to introduce myself and say Welcome to Hogwarts. I'm sure you have a great time here!

Shantelle enters the office.
"Hello Professor. I'm Shantelle. I'm in Ravenclaw and can't wait to start lessons. Just thought I'd introduce myself.
Just one question. Do I come to you to find out about Quidditch?"

hey! thought i'd introduce myself, i'm Jessica, but you can call me J.J........see ya in class!

Well as a matter of fact, Teresa, I do already know Professor Rae, but it's from an unfortunate event that we last spoke. I have some catching up to do with her....I worked very closely with her late husband.


Well Shantelle, as you may have heard in the Headmster's welcoming remarks at the Feast, there won't be any Quidditch this term due to some problems they seemed to have last term. I'm not the best source to discuss what happened, you may want to ask one of the Professor's who has been here for awhile.

For the rest of you....it's very nice to see you and I hope you enjoy my class.

"Hi Professor Prewett! I'm Serena! Welcome to Hogwarts!" she said as she took a deep breath to hold back her tears. "I'm sorry, it's just that I really am going to miss Sir Spots," she said as a single tear fell down her cheek. "I hope you won't mind talking about your job as an Auror some time. I'd be interested to hear of your experiences and maybe if you could offer some advice for those of us who are thinking of becoming aurors ourselves."

Smiling suddendly at the thought, she said, "Oh, and since there won't be any Quidditch this term, is there a chance we could start a broom racing club instead?"

Stacy walked into the Flying Classroom to say hi to the new Flying Instructor...

"Hello Professor Prewett... I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself... Flying is my favorite so I think we will see a lot of each other."

She held out her hand towards the professor in an act of kindness.

Terry gives her uncle a quick peck on the cheek. "Well I see you have your hands full meeting my fellow students, and I need to check in at my common room and get unpacked. I think I have flying lessons on my schedule this term, so I'll be able to see you in class. Do try and stay out of trouble, Uncle. I afraid you'll probably find Hogwarts rather dull after your life as an aurora. Bye now!" Terry leaves the office and heads for her common room.

Before exploring the grounds, Luna decides to visit the flying teacher, and show him her custom-made broom. Luna's green and silver robes made her personality seem to sparkle more. She held a purple/midnightblue/and silver broom in her hand. The end had *Star Shooter* inscribed in Silver. Luna waited paitiently for the others to finish talking, then introduced herself. "I'm Luna Morrisson, Slytherin 5th year transer. I was the top flyer (and chaser) at my old school, and I had a question. Are we able to fly around campus when we have spare time? I also wanted to show you my broom. My parents had it made special for me a couple years ago, and have had it upgraded yearly. Just wanted to see if you thought it was a nice broom." Luna smiled again.

a Professor, when dose class start? Hannah asked

Luna re-enters Prewitt's office to get her broom. "Thanks for looking at it, I think I'll go for a quick spin." Luna smiles and then leaves with her Star Shooter.

"Good Bye, Teresa," the Professor says to his niece. He smiles at so many of his new students. "This is a very fine, hand-made broom", he tells Luna, "but I'm, afraid that as far as I know, the Pitch is the only place students are supposed to be able to fly."

"Serena," it's nice to meet you, I understand we'll be spending some time together in the Gryffindor Common Room, I have agreed to help out the HoH and congratulations on being selected Prefect. As the term moves on, I would enjoy talking to you about a future as an Auror. A broom racing club, huh? Well, we'll have to see......"

"Hannah, I may start classes as early as tomorrow actually, so keep an eye on my classroom.....I hope to see you there....."

*walks into the room and moves to the front of the class*

"Hello professor, I'm Victoria Latin. This is my first year and I'm in Slytherin, as you can tell from the outfit. Anyways, I dont have a lot of knowledge about flying and thats not good, since I'm a pureblood. I'm really looking forward at trying out for Quidditch when it comes back so these classes will be a lot of help. I'm really looking forward to your calss. I'll see you then and good day professor.

*moves toward the door and looks at a impressive certificate. When reaching the door, turns and smiles at the professor, then leaves with a flowing type of grace*

Welcome Victoria, it's nice to meet you....class should begin either today or tomorrow.....

kasandra walked into the the offic
"um..hello proffesor, my names kasandra tonks and i just wanted to introducs myself" she brushed her lime green hair out of he eyes " i'm really execited about started your class,also when does your class start?"

umm, where will your classes take place? *Jessica sais confused*

Professor Prewett smiles at Kasandra and Jessica and says hi. "The classes will begin in the thread marked "Flying Lessons Classroom" which I will open when the classes begin. We will meet there and go over some basic terms then head out to the grounds for some practical work."

As Kate is walking around the castle trying to get reacquainted with her old school, she passes by Prewett's office. She doubles back when the name on the door sinks in.
*Hmm, Prewett, I know that name from somewhere, I'm sure of it.*
After knocking and peeking in, Kate decides to move on and perhaps come back later.

Professor Prewett peeks out from the back room, thinking he heard a visitor, "hmmm.......no one," he says and goes back to his reading.
