Alex saw Kim near him and greeted her. "Hello."

Jaren walked briskly towards Hogsmede, thinking to himself. Right, this trip had better be quick. There are other more inportant things to be done...two rolls of parchment and that's all.

Jaren happened to walk past the Shrieking Shack when he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks, so suddenly that he actually tripped over. His face is contorted in a mixture of surprise and pain, as if he'd suddenly been burned.

Strong...something is here...and something powerful.

Still grimicing, Jaren straighted, not bothering to brush the dirt off his robes, and stared at the Shrieking Shack. He'd been here before, but never had there been this reaction...why had it gone off? He took a step forward and jerked, as if he'd been burned again, and instinctively his hand went to his chest, as if the thing that burned him was there. He quickly dropped his hand, eyes narrowing at the shack. All thoughts of buying parchment forgotten, he spun and ran back to the castle as fast as he could. There was no time to loose.

The wizard sat in a high-backed chair in the cool, dark, damp, basement room of the Shrieking Shack, his fingers forming a steeple upon which his chin rested. His servant was in place, the brewing of the potion was commencing, and it was only a matter of time before...

Finally half warmed up from the three broomsticks, Aph heads up towards the Shrieking shak to get a good look of it.

"Hello Aph." Alex greeted. He thought he saw something moving inside the Shack, but he brushed it aside, not letting his suspisions weigh him down.

Amy wanders down the path outside the Shrieking Shack. She's felt strange presences before, but this one takes the cake. She brushes it off and tries not to worry about it as she imagines what the house must have looked like before it fell into disrepair. She closes her eyes and gasps, then backs away. Looking frightened, she runs back to the castle.

Stops and turns, remembering that she was headed to Hogsmeade. Walks well off the path, as far from the house as she can, and refrains from shutting her eyes or thinking about the house, or the darkness that wouldn't let her see...

"OH Hello Alex! I haven't seen you for a while! How's it going?" She asked him happily.

kagome looked at the skrieking shack and walked up to it. she walked around it a couple of times and tried to see if she could open any of the windows. she couldn't open any of them and went to the back of the shack and saw and noticed a back door. she tried to open it but that was locked also. she tried to barge the door open but it wouldn't move. she went to a window she could climb into and broke it. she climbed in and started to wander around.

kagome walked back to the broken window

"reparo" she said and the window fixed itself
she walked around knewing she was not alowed in here and knowing that she wasn't even suppose to be in hogsmead on weekdays.she wandered the halls and stair wells feeling adventures and was feeling as thought something bad was here.she walkd down stairs finding herself in a basement.she noticed this basement had many rooms and entered one.this one was a bedroom and had a comfy bed.she sat on it and started drawing.
"if anyone is in here they would here me" kagome talked to herself.she felt a cold siver"well i dfind it comfy here.and i like this...um..torn up old room..and no one would be in here.they would get in trouble."

As he sat in the dark, noises from above broke the silence and neared his place of hiding. Wondering how someone had managed to break the seals that were placed on the house, Lord Voldemortist muttered, "Lumos" to light his wand tip and opened the sealed door of the nearly empty room. Sitting on a bed directly in front of him was one of those students from Hogwarts, as he could see by the Ravenclaw crest on her robes. With an evil smirk, he raised his wand, "Avada Kedavra!"

The girl dropped to the bed without a word, just a slight thump. He disposed of her in a closet in another part of the basement before heading back to his room. He would need to check the seals on the house but, that could wait until later. The girl was now dead so, she could not possibly tell anyone who she had seen...

Nadia walked back to the road of Hosmeade, but only so to visit Sparky. The man in the carriage must be already too mad at her for so many changing of minds, but she had forgotten she wanted to do that before going away with all the worries in her mind. A part of her was whinning; why oh why did she had to choose this particular place for meetings? It was not her favorite place from now on. She went to the back of the Shrieking Shack, were they alway meet. When reaching the back, she took her whistle with shaky fingers, an eye kept on the shack... then something catched her eye. There was a window which particularly got her attention and which she never before saw. It wasn't exactly clean but had strange patherns over it, which were perfectly shapped as if it was broken, yet it wasn't - no, it wasn't broken; it had been magically fixed but incorrectly, she could tell... The dust was moved in strange patherns... somebody was inside there...

Nadia frowned, her worries all of the sudden whipped off as her curiosity took over for a couple of seconds. That fool kids must have broken inside again, she thought frowning and getting mad again. After last time incident one would say they would have learned. She stepped closer to the Shack, a hand flying to the knob... but then she remembered what his mate has said. But, if there was something inside of that characteristics, had it done the strange marks in the window? She didn't remember seeing it before. She wanted to believe it was there before... but, anyway, she had a proof now or an incidence of something there.

Starting to panic and without being able to help her legs, she started away of the place, to the Three Broomsticks at full speed.

Amy walked back past the house, barely daring to blink. She sees Nadia running away from the house and her curiousity takes over. She looks at what Nadia had been staring at and gasps, then closes her eyes.

This is.. strange...

She opens her eyes again; they are filled with fear. All she could see in her mind was a green flash... Something had happened, something horrible. She stands frozen to the spot, staring at the window.

ari looked at the building with mild interest and amusement. she had no idea as to what she was doing here, but for some reason she was unable to move her eyes from it. she continued walking again, running her hand along the abandoned building as she went. as ari continued her walk away from the shrieking shack, a faint smirk appeared on her lips.

"Everything's go-" Alex stopped his sentence because he saw the fimiliar flash of brilliant green light. "The Killing Curse. Aph! Did you see that?! Somemone's just been murdered in the Shack! We have to do something!"

Amy looks up as Alex approaches.

Did you see it?

"Well-" Aph shivered and bit her bottom lip. "I wonder who it was.....Uhm...." She wrapped her arms around herself and looked confused. It's not like death is anything new to me....She thought, and shifted her weight from one foot to the other. But he's right...we sould tell someone. "I'll go back to the school and see who I can find....You make sure no one else goes back up there ok?" Aph turned and started running back towards the school.

:: Ganymede walks up to the shack. She takes her:phone: out and her out and looks for anything interesting. ::

ooc: Ganymede, Nadia is gone. She left.

A raven swoops down from the sky and hovers in front of Ganymede's face, cawing for her attention. It's Jaren's raven, Tobias. The raven flies around Ganymede's face, still cawing, as if telling her to back away from the area. There is a small piece of parchment attached to its leg, with a hastily scrawled "Ganymede" written on it.

"Wilco!" Alex shook his head, and turned to Amy. "I saw the whole thing Amy. That was the Killing Curse, and I have a very bad feeling that the spellcaster, is Voldemortist." Alex sighed under the pressure of him coming face to face with Voldemortist.

Terry leaves Zonko's Joke Shop heading back to Hogwarts. She can't believe the portable swamp she had ordered hadn't come yet. It had been six weeks, and the shop clerk said it would take six to eight weeks. She didn't know what she was going to tell Jenn. With the teachers busy preparing the ingredients for the Draught of Ephemera, this was perfect time to lay it out in front of the staff room and see how many teachers they could catch. Oh well, Terry couldn't wait until the Weasley's Wizarding Wonders shop opened up. They would probably carry the swamps in open stock. Since she still had some time on her hands, she decides to check the shrieking shack out. She tries to stop by it at least once every term. Of course she doesn't believe the stories about the place being haunted. As a child she had heard the stories of the exploits of her great, great grandfather, James Potter and his friends, Remus Lupin. Sirius Black, and James Pettigrew. Her great grandmother told her how Remus would sneak into the shack and turn into a werewolf every full moon. How his friends would transform into animals, and together they would roam Hogmeade. Terry wished Jenn and she could also turn into animals. What fun they could have roaming around Hogsmeade after dark.


As she walks towards the shack, she notices a Slytherin student being attacked by a Raven. She watches as the student runs away from the building. Terry hopes she's okay but decides not to follow her. Instead, she walks up to the shack and tries the front door. It seems to be sealed with a sealing charm. Terry proceeds to walk around the shack. She has heard the rumors of a Ravenclaw student who had disappeared recently. She was last seen entering the shrieking shack. Terry had also heard about the flashes of green lights students have claimed to see, too. With all the strange things going on at school, she decided she better check things out. She notices a window that has been broken and repaired rather badly. Terry looks in and sees nothing but an empty room. Of course with the sun shining so brightly, it's hard to see anything clearly. Then she swears she sees a robed figure walking around the room. The robe doesn't have a crest on it, and the individual is too tall to be a student. It must be a vagrant or something. Then the individual comes to the window. Terry still can't see his face, but she can't help but notice his eyes. They are a deep glowing red and seem to penetrate you looking right into your soul. She wants to get out of there as fast as she can, but she can't get her legs to work. Her body seem frozen to the spot. Then the figure disappears, and her body goes limp.

Terry gets out of there as fast as she can still wondering what that was she had seen. She had seen eyes like those only once before when she was three. It couldn't be him. He would never come this close to Hogwarts. It had to be an illusion. The sun was playing tricks with her eyes. As she ran back to Hogwarts, she wondered if she should tell the teachers what she had seen. Then she remembered Professor McAiken. The last thing she wanted was for him to find out she thought she had seen Lord Voldemortist in Hogsmeade. No, she decided to keep this information to herself. At least until after the teachers had finished preparing the ingredients for the Draught of Ephermera.

OOC - Alex if you read properly you'd know Terry didn't actually go in the Shack! Her character left the spot.

And Voldemortist was in the basement when he posted - and the basement has no windows.

:: Ganymede quickly reads the letter. "Alright." She tells herself as she quickly goes to the castle. ::

Ashlie approached the group of students. "The Killing Curse?" she asked. "So, you guys saw that green flash, too?" she asked. She pointed to the bench she'd been sitting at just a moment ago, not far off from them. "Couldn't help but over hear that. Does anyone know who it was? Oh..if it was someone I know..." She shivered lightly. "It wasn't a student was it?" She knew that lately there'd been many students snooping around, other than just herself. The first two to come to her mind were Nadia and Jaren. And then the boy from the Library.

Amy shudders; Nadia and Jaren come to mind when strange things are happening. She's worried; she considers Nadia a friend, not to mention her quidditch captain, and she'd like to be friends with Jaren, if only she could get through to him... She sees Jaren's raven deliver a note to Ganymede and realizes something.

She's in on it too...
