Andrew gets up and puts away his things so they don't get hit with stray spells. He walks over the Gryffindor group of Madeye, Serena and Aschere, "Hey everyone, can I join? Or do one of you want to split off and practice with me?" he asks.

No sooner are the words out of his mouth than Adam is hit with a Stunning Charm. "I think he'll be okay if Professor Rae wakes him up with an Ennervate Charm but I won't try that one yet, it's a NEWT level charm."

Riiya looks around and seaches for an available partner in the room for some time, but couldn't see any.

"I-is there anyone who would like t-to be my partner?"

Didymus looked over to at the Hufflepuff girl,she'd heard people call her by the name Riiya in lessons.
"Riiya do you want to work with Lina and myself until there is someone else who needs a partner?"

OOC: Assuming this is more than likely before the Great Hall incident. :P

Zekke aimed his wand at Nadia and said clearly, "Immobulus!"

ooc: OK then, I thought it after the Potion class/RoR =P

Not completely prepared, Nadia casted Protego in her rather than try dodging it, the spell was deflected and re-directed to Zadkhiel...

"sure :), if they don't mind as well..." Riiya walks over to Didymus.

"so...um..who starts?" Riiya takes out her wand and takes a deep breath, feeling ready.

Didymus drew her wand and stepped back.
"Well we're testing speed so...Tarantallegra!"

Riiya quickly stepped her right foot out and sticked her left wand hand out, saying, "Protego!"

a light blue shield appeared, making the Tarantallegra spell bounce at her shield. the spell then flies back at Didymus, but misses her by a few inches.

"Expelliarmus!" Riiya says shooting a blue jet stream flying out towards Didymus.

Didymus quickly drew her wand like she had practised.
"Protego!" she shouted.
She smiled,raised her wand and then pointed it at Lina.

As Didymus raised her wand and shouted the spell, Lina quickly responded by shouting "PROTEGO". But she had learned a trick a few lessons earlier, and by slightly changing the angle of her wand, she made the spell deflect back at Riiya, who was busy casting a spell at Didymus!

Riiya felt like she was forced to look to her left. and it was a good thing, too for a spell was shot towards her. her silver-blue eyes glowed brightly. she bent her right leg slightly, placing more weight on herright side, making her roll to the right quickly.

the spell Lina had deflected missed Riiya. after one turn, she gets to her feet quickly with her wand in her hand. she then points at Lina and said, "Tarantallegra" as she makes a lightling-bolt hand movement. her face appeared to have been emotionless, somehow...

*Lina watched in amazement as Riiya pulled of a great manouver, avioding the spell by rolling on the floor! But as soon as her partner got back on her feet, Lina was ready again. She was trying to concentrate on her partners body language to predict the next spell, but Riiya was making it very difficult, showing no emotion what so ever.
Suddenly the new spell came flying towards her, and it was only pure reflex that made Lina duck just in time. She could feel the smell of burnt hair as she got back on her feet. She smiled at the girl in front of her.*

- You're good!

Riiya's silver-blue eyes began go glow lesser than before. she blinked and her eyes were almost back to normal, as there was still a small glow in the middle of her eyes.

she suddenly smiled sweetly and blushed. "t-thank you...you're not too bad yoursefl, you know." Riiya looked down on her feet and said, "are you alright? im sorry if i hurt you..."

Riiya then looked up and tilted her head while still smiling. "lets go again :) , if you don't mind...if not then thats alright..."

"Prior Incantato!" He commanded and the Protego was cast upon himself and he was protected from his own prior spell.

"Rictusempra!" He had never used a laughing spell before, so he wondered what it would do besides the obvious.

ANyone want to be my partner? *Christopher Starts to look around...*

ooc: Prior Incantato? Does that shields you? I think the spell shows only a ghostly image of the spell and not the real spell :unsure: Mmh, I will go check.


Nadia let herself fall, her heart beats rising in speed - her long-hairs were caught by the spell but did nothing to her. From the floor she raised her wand at Zadkhiel's feet and uttered the Trip Jinx!

Does anyone need a partner?

Oh, no, no, you didn't hurt me! I just need to work a bit on my skills, thats all. *she smiles at the girl* Anyway, let's try it again!

*Lina tries to keep her face motionless, and quickly pulls out her wand*

- EXPELLIARMUS!

:hello: "Hi Andrew...you can join us!" says Serena. "We can pair off if you like... maybe it will be safer!"

Aschere grins. "Yeah - like at least you won't have to pay attention to four people at once!

Riiya hears a wheezing sound coming from her right again. she blinked and her silver-blue eyes shone again. she rolled to the left by bending her left leg and placing her weight on her legs too. when she landed on her feet, she said, "Gelatinus" sending a leg jinx spell at her, as the expelliarmus spell had missed her.

"Ok, I'm starting. Gelatinus!" Aschere flies the Jelly-leg jinx at her partner.

:unsure: "Oh!" says Serena... her legs going wonky... she falls to the ground laughing! :lol: "Oh, my, I really didn't expect that...Finite Incantatem" she says as she gets back to her feet.
"My turn..." she says to Aschere..."Ricktusempra!"

"Protego!" Aschere shouted. Unfortunately, it didn't block the spell effectifely enough, and unfortunately,- Aschere was particularly ticklish.
"Make-Make it stop!" she gasped, laughing, rolling on the floor. "Fi-Finite Incantatem!"
Aschere stopped laughing and got up slowly. "Alright, that was a good one. Right. On three?" She asked.
"1....2...... tarantagella!"

Serena was ready this time, even though Aschere didn't say 3, "Protego!" She shouted, hoping not to end up on the floor again. Her shield deflected the spell just in time. "I'm glad we spent time practicing quick-drawing...it really helped!"

"You're really good at this, Serena," Aschere said. "Quick-draw isn't really my best skill. How do you do it?"
