By this time Aschere had finished adding each ingredient. She lowered the flame and let the potion simmer and stirred it 20 times clockwise and 20 times anti-clockwise.
Extinguishing the fire, and gingerly taking the hot cauldron off it, she poured the potion into the large goblet on her table. She replaced the steaming cauldron on the ground.

Taking out her wand, she thought hard for a second before dipping the tip of it in the goblet.
"Coloro!"

She measured out about 200 mL into a flask and followed the other students to the back of the classroom. She paused a moment, and then rinsed her long brown hair with the potion.

After she had towel-dried it, she looked down at the portion she could see, and smiled satisfactorily. It wasn't drastically different from her natural colour, but it had turned a significantly richer, deep-red shade.

she then took hold of her wand and pointed at the top of the table.
"Accio Goblet" she said. a silver goblet appeared in front of her...she then scooped some potions and poured it in the goblet.

she dipped the very tip of wand in the potion and incant, "Coloro!" while concentrating on the color light cream purple...then inside, the mixture changed to a light purple color. she then rinsed her hair with the potion. she then waved her wand and said, "Accio Mirror"

a mirror appeared on the table.she placed her wand back in her pocket and then picked up the hand mirror. she then watches through the mirror...waiting for her hair to change its color....

::Examines herself in pocket mirror:: Wow! I really love my blue hair. Since this potion has Belladonna, is it best to use it only once in a while? I'd like to wear my hair differently every once in a while.

Few minutes later, she her hair turns into bronze.
yay!! this will be so handy. :lol:

5 minutes had passed. Riiya looked into the hand mirror and watched as her hair changed from a silky platinum white hair to light cream purple. as the light touches her hair,it made it seem more livelier. she then moved the mirror around to make sure that all parts of her hair had changed color.

"did it work?is it nice? can anyone please tell me..."

"It sure worked, Riiya," Aschere smiled. "Wow, what a lovely colour! It looks really nice, don't worry :)"

"really? thanks, Aschere! :lol: " Riiya turns to her and looks at her hair.

"yours looks great! its..more radient and more darker...but it looks great!i love it! :)"

she then realize that her hair was still wet.

"is it a must to dry the hair?"

Zekke studiously mixed the ingredients into his goblet and shook out his wand and stared at the goblet, willing to to change colors, and murmured, "Coloro!"

Much to his own amazement, the liquid changed to a dark ash... then dark grey... then greyish... then... a silvery frost-white.

He undid his hairtie and let his shoulder-length hair fall loose about his shoulders. He carefully sectioned off strands of his raven-black hair and dipped it into the 200 mL of potion he had just brewed.

He very carefully kept the rest of his hair out of the way and waited the requisite 5 minutes.

When the time was up, he dug into his pocket for his mirror. Did it work? Did he have silvery frosty streaks in his hair? He craned his head for a better look.

It worked.

He laughed softly in delight.

ooc: lol, no problem, I was kidding^^ But better keep with the Potion brewing now... ^_^


Once done stirring and still waiting for professor Airlia's response, Nadia first took her want and transfigurated an spare vial into a globet and took the her protective gloves to take the cauldron and poured some of the potion into it (the goblet still had the scales so she put exactly 200 mL). She tried thinking of a nice color, and then "Coloro!" she said, dipping the very tip of wand in potion. Being her hair so long (waist-long) she put the rinse of hair in the goblet. And then waited. And waited. And she was getting impatient, thinking that maybe she shouldn't have stressed the incantation co-LOH-roh. Or maybe she should have let the potion cool off a bit, or cool off less... But after 5 minutes it started to change: it was becoming silvery purple, some of the strands were gray.

"I have a thing with monster-like appearance it seems." *lol* She turned around and called. "Lovely shade, Zeeke, very nice ;) " Then saw a couple of desk away and her eyes widden. "Wow, that's an original color, dobby! And Andrew's -color- isn't a bad idea."

"So, professor, think you could tell me what uses have this potion in DADA or if I can use more of it?" Nadia asked happily. (ooc: Heard what happened, and I am sorry, that was completely uncalled for. Dare or not. Sorry to hear you got so upset about the Slytherins. Think we are all a little downhearted)

*points at her caludron and shouts coloro, focusing perfectly on a deep dark midnight blue*

*Looks down*

Hmmm... what a nifty potion! I wonder how people think up these things, that must take years of inventing~! I guess lots of potions that work well happened by accident...

" :) i think it is. this is actually fun cause since it won't last long,i have no fear of using it...if my mom saw me changing my hair color, she would be furious."

"What happened?" Aschere asked.

"Ok, let's see. First step is to put the moonstone and the water in - I think you did that, right? Did you make sure that it was 500 mL of water?"

"Ok, so next you boil the water in the cauldron, with the moonstone, for 5 minutes.
Then add the belladonna and nettles, and leave it for another five minutes.

"Right, so there's your problem... the nettles and the Belladonna are up front in the ingredients cupboard. I'm not sure about crushing - the Prof didn't specify, so I suppose in this case it shouldn't matter..."

ok i added the belladona and the nettles. and i have left it for five minutes. could you please hellp me with the rest of the potion?

"Right, now you lower the flame, but don't put it out yet. Let the potion simmer on the low flame for another five minutes. You're almost done!"

"Stir the potion 20 full strokes clockwise, and then 20 full strokes counter-clockwise. Pour the potion into a goblet. Here, you can use this one." Aschere hands a clean goblet from the table.
