He couldn't have told you how he ended up here, other than the obvious answer of his feet and legs, but here he was. He supposed this was as good a place as ever to practice his guitar and work out some more lyrics to another song it was writing. Then there was also...the letters he had received yesterday from a few places he had haphazardly sent some demos off to. They were thin envelopes, so he figured he knew what that meant. But hey, at least they hadn't sent the tapes back? Did they even use tapes anymore? It had been all he could find in the Muggle Studies area at the time he felt the urge to go forward with things and he just charged ahead with whatever there was to work with.

Josh was just about to slip the strap of his guitar case off his shoulder when his glanced over at the wall and nearly tripped over his own feet. "WhAt ThE ----"

Could he blame this on the whacky spirit energy the house ghosts had been freaking out over in the Spirit Room? Could he?

It was another long day of studying for OWLs, and Avalon had grown tired of the library. She needed a change of scenery every once in a while to keep her mind fresh. So, the prefect had gathered her belongings and headed toward one of her favorite nooks on the second floor. It was in front of a big window, which overlooked the grounds, and the cozy spot provided her plenty of space to spread out her study materials. Avalon had only made it halfway down the corridor, however, when she noticed Josh - who seemed to be.....admiring a picture of himself?

Avalon approached him from behind, peering over his shoulder. "Wow, Josh. I know you like yourself, but carrying around a poster with your face on it? That's pretty vain," she quipped sarcastically before walking around to face the Gryffindor. Although.....wait! Was that Aboli's picture on there, too? She struggled to read the writing on the parchment from upside down, but she thought she saw the word "couple." OH. Well, if this was going to turn into exciting Hogwarts love drama, Avalon definitely wanted to be an insider. She simply raised her eyebrows at Josh, an amused smile playing at her lips, waiting for him to explain.

Why had she come to this corridor again? Gemma wasn't really sure and she was trying to remember if she was meeting someone or she had just needed to get somewhere when she noticed something on the wall. Stopping to read it she scratched her head really confused. "Why would anyone need to put it on a poster?" Why were the older students so confusing? She had an older brother and still she did not understand them.

Hearing some voices she turned and looked at the two older students. One she realized was the face on the poster. "I don't think it shows he is in love with his own face, he's trying to make a point that I'm not sure needs to be made?"

Her eyes went back to the post, "Why does it matter what others think if you know you are just friends?" Maybe if she asked, they could explain all this relationship and friend business to her.

He absolutely was going to blame this on the whacky spirit energy if for no other reason than to be able to write it off and be DONE with it all. Josh was just about to tear it up when he heard a voice and his head snapped around to see just who it was. "Avalon! No! I didn't make this. I don't own any posters of myself. Well...okay. That is actually sort of a lie. I have a ton of them and I have to sign them for give aways and exclusive whatevers for U-17 branding and all that. Pops handles that side of things. But the point IS that I don't actually WANT any of these posters! Let alone one like this!"

It was a low key ramble compared to what the ramble COULD have been.

"It's embarassing …not to mention it has totally outed Aboli's crush which, well, she has sort of been outing herself in telling people but not the point!"

And then they were joined by someone else, a younger Hufflepuff...who was just fanning the flames of humiliation. "I DID NOT MAKE THESE AND I AM TRYING TO MAKE NO POINT!" Josh lamented, exhasperated, as he tore the poster he held in his hands into several thin strips. Yes, face confetti, yes. Perfect.

Which also meant that, for now, he was glazing over further questions. Yes. Thank you. HE DID NOT MAKE THESE NOR DID HE PUT THEM UP!

Avalon couldn't help but chuckle as Josh tried to explain the poster. Leave it to the Gryffindor to ramble. "Relaaaaax, I was just messing with you," she said with a smirk, although her eyes widened slightly at Gemma's comment and the realization that this situation most certainly involved Hogwarts love drama. "Wait, Aboli has a crush?! She didn't tell me! Let me see that!" Avalon peered closer at the poster. So Aboli didn't like Josh, but she liked a different Gryffindor? Who could that be? Maybe Cole Vance? No, he was dating Naya. It couldn't be Lukas....he just didn't seem like Aboli's type. Maybe it was Noah??

"I wonder who made them then....." Avalon said, her voice trailing off in thought. On one hand, it could be a totally innocent joke. But on another, Avalon would absolutely hate it if other students were meddling in her love life. "Are there more Josh? Or is this the only one?" She would definitely offer to help him take them down. And then she would be having some serious girl talk with Aboli.

Gemma was still very confused and she just looked at the older students. At 13 she knew she thought guys were cute and she knew some of her friends were starting to date, but she still didn't understand why some older kids felt the need to announce everything, but he seemed to not be announcing it.

"Why don't you just use magic to take them all down at once? Like Accio or something if you don't want them up." She glanced up at the posters again and finally realized who the girl is. Her eyes grew, "Aboli won't like these..." Maybe she could help take them down, but at the same time, maybe the older boy should ask or even give her a reward for helping.
