Very good, RLupin - 2 points to Gryffindor. Christmas is a widespread Muggle holiday that people in the Wizarding world also celebrate. In fact, we will be covering Christmas as one of the holidays for this unit (although that is not what we are doing today). Any other holidays? | |

Very good, kim felton. The Day of the Dead is a celebration that honors those who have passed away. As far as I know, this holiday is celebrated in Mexico though it may well be celebrated in other nations.
RLupin, you mentioned Valentine's Day. That is the holiday we are going to look at for today’s lesson. How many of you have heard of or perhaps even celebrated Valentines Day? Can anyone tell me when Valentine’s Day is? | |

My father moved us next door to muggles, and I got to pick up a few things. They love holidays, they decorate like crazy, and do everything by HAND!! NO magic. They're mad!
