High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. This particular street connects to several narrow streets and alleyways due to how the shops are laid out. Some of these passages will take you to other shops and even the residential area of the village. Stay on this path until the very end, past Dervish and Banges, and you will find yourself coming to a stop at a stile that faces the mountain beyond.
It is not common for those who are people-watching in the benches next to the street lamps to see large numbers of students and adults ambling up and down the pavement and peering into shop windows on High Street. After all, this is the most popular place you can meet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, running off with a mischievous grin to Zonko's, or entering Honeydukes with your mouth already watering.
She was going to help him. This was great, she didn't even ask any questions. She just started looking. Handing over her bag Benton held it tightly and watched her as she looked around. Of course, the boy couldn't help but let his eyes go to the bag she had given him. Candy! Now he was distracted but he would never take any. He made mental notes of everything he needed to buy, though.
What did he need the shiny for, could she be trusted? Would she run to the professors? Benton had never been in trouble and never broke rules. He was a good boy. "I.. well." He looked around the street before leaning closer. "I'm training the Nifflers and I thought this would be a good chance to practice with Penelope and well she ran away from me." He looked around the busy street. "She has to be here somewhere and if you have something shiny I'm sure she'll come running."
Hopefully, she would.
Her hands ran through all her pockets, and there were a lot of them because she was wearing her jacket and two more layers beneath it. She finally reached her pants' pockets as the boy leaned in as if he was letting her on on a secret (which made Genny even more interested in helping).
"Oh?" Training the Nifflers? Huh? She paused for a few seocnds trying to catch up to what he was describing. "So..." Her hand caught one of the shiny buttons in her pocket but she didn't fish it out yet. "... Penelope is a girl who's helping you? No, wait, she's the Niffler?" Her eyebrows scrunched up confused. Her fist came out of her pocket and she showed him the glitter-y button of the Harpies. "Are you taking this? It's important to me, I don't know if I'll be able to get one like it." Soooo... "I can tag along, though, this way you won't lose the button." Grin.

I'm expecting I will have a bunch soon enough though, so I am okay with that." Once she started her career and everything; she had already told him all about that.
It was good that he didn't seem to mind the kiss, going so far as to smile and touch his cheek. Esme hadn't been sure if he would like it especially seeing how shy he was. Seemed like that wasn't a problem at all. That made her the happiest yet because she really wanted to do this. "I really like you, Olly." This time she gave him a proper kiss.
This was certainly true. Olly had always spoken to Esme. It was this he had been doing so one time at the Hufflepuff table when he had accidentally dropped onions on her. Onions which she had told him she didn’t like. He could never resist talking to her. “That’s because you’re always fun to talk to.’’ And the only person that had ever held his attention beside his sister. He grinned. “I see you’ve got a lot of patience. Remember to name one of them after me.’’
Esme really liked him? Was this something that had happened recently? Before he had a chance to respond, she was kissing him again. This time on the lips. Immediately Olly’s brain went all fuzzy as though someone put the Jelly Brain Jinx on him. He couldn’t think; couldn’t comprehend anything. He didn’t even realise he was kissing her back.

He wasn't getting impatient, but there was a school niffler on the loose and it was his fault. The professors were going to have his head. The boy who never did wrong was going to end up in detention for a year for this most likely. His eyes darted from the girl to the streets. Where could Penelope be. Only when she spoke did he look back to her fully. ]b] "Penelope is a niffler. She is about a year old and one of the ones from the school stable." Hence the urgency of finding her and getting her back before a professor realized she was gone.
He looked at the button, it was shiny, but was it shiny enough? He really didn't have room to fight it though. They had to try something. "I want to put it down in the street and hope she sees it. I think that is the best way to catch her. She has to find the shiny on her own or she won't come out." Penelope was a bit shy. "You can put the button on the ground if it makes you feel better. I don't have to touch it at all." He looked for the best place.
"What if we put it right over there. The minute she comes to it we jump and grab her." Did that seem good to her?

Esme didn’t know how long he had wanted this.
Talking to Olly had always made Esme happy, and had especially so now. He was always so sweet to her and they had a lot in common. It was amazing that it had taken her this long to figure it out, but now she knew and was so excited about it. Did he feel the same way as her? She hoped so badly though if he didn't and wanted someone else that was okay; she would step aside so that he would be happy. "You're fun to talk to too, Olly. I will name a Unicorn after you." She really did want to!
Clearly Oliver didn't mind the kiss as he returned it, but Esme knew that it had to stop there even if she didn't want it to. For one thing they were in public. Sadly she pulled away. "I guess we should head to the Three Broomsticks now and meet Juno and Leon." It wouldn't be good to keep them waiting.

Genny, on the other hand, was used to being yelled at and punished in school and at home. It wasn't her fault, of course, the system is just so wrong. And Penelope was a Niffler, whew, good. Losing a Niffler was a lot better than losing a human. "Oh the professor must really trust you to let you take her Nifflers out this far!" She meant it in the most honest, impressed way possible.
The boy... hey wait, "What's your name? I'm Genny." They were comrades now, gotta exchange their names. "Okay." She would love to be the one handling the button since she didn't know much about Nifflers or Penelope. "Who named her Penelope?" Genny asked with a hint of laughter, "Sounds so human." She explained a little heading to the spot he indicated. "We'll have to hide after I put it here, right? I just hope people don't steal it, we gotta look out for people too." So basically they were on two operations; lure Penelope out and protect the button.
The Gryffindor placed the button on the ground and ran back to her partner.

Olly looked fondly at the young woman before her. He knew that even after all the months he had not seen or spoken to her since before last Christmas, he had grown to like her even more. Yet he couldn’t bring himself to let her know that. The only reason he had to thank for that was his shyness. She liked talking to him, he liked talking to her… this was perfect.
He could go on kissing her forever. Olly really wanted to. He had already forgotten that they were in the middle of a crowded street and hadn’t even thought of the fact that they might be attracting stares. When Esme pulled aways, he couldn’t help but feel disappointed and then slightly bewildered. Esme was going on as though something big hadn’t just happened. “Um, yeah. Okay. Let’s go.’’
The confused WADA young man followed his crush to the Three Broomsticks.

Even though Olly didn't say anything, Esme got the feeling that he wasn't very happy that she had stopped kissing him. Did that mean he had a crush on her? Or was he just hoping that he would get a snog? Obviously she was hoping for the former though if he had no interest in her other thsn when it came to kissing, she would understand. Wouldn't like it, but she would accept it in the same way that she had with Ollie. But Olly was different...
As they started walking, Esme took his hand. She was happy and wanted to tell him how she felt because clearly he hadn't picked up on it. Maybe he would reject her, and maybe he wouldn't, but she wanted to get this out there. Not just wanted, NEEDED to. They were right by the Three Broomsticks so this was the perfect time to. "I have a crush on you, Olly."

Did a professor trust him that much? WHAT WAS HE GOING TO SAY? Could she see the sweat that was now starting to happen or was that just his palms because he didn't like to lie and he didn't want to get in trouble. "Yes, of... of course they trust me. I am at the stables all the time. I've been trying to train the nifflers all term." That wasn't a lie, he was there almost every day and had the parchment of notes to prove it. "Penelope is the brightest of them all, that's why I thought she'd be good."
Oh names, right, that would be a good thing. He knew he had seen the girl around, but usually girls thought he was lame or at least one had told him that once and it stuck. "I'm Benton, many call me Benny." Genny was a nice name. He'd be able to remember that since it was close to his own. "I did, I always liked that name and I don't have a pet at home. So I named her that." Was that silly? It probably was, but now she was missing and that's all he could think about. "I won't let anyone take your button I promise." He'd jump out and yell if he had to, he wouldn't let her lose her shiny button.
Watching her lay it down and come back he hid behind a bush. "Now we wait."

"Let me know when you want to come that way I can tell you where I'll be." Having been there six plus months now she had been bounced around from building to building learning about almost all the creatures housed there. So it varied from day to day, week to week on where she would be.
"It's amazing. He basically let me design our entire department just so there wasn't anything to 'girly' or pink around." The brunette laughed remembering the fun she had had in decoration their apartment and the teasing she had done on Frankie's part when she had purposely turned things pink. "It was a little bit strange at first but it was easy to get used really." At least she had thought so. Maybe them having gone on that month long vacation together right before had been a learning experience in what it would be like spending each day together. "Honestly, I love it and I wouldn't trade it for anything." Glancing up and down the snow covered pavement Hady began walking towards their destination because who wanted to stand outside in the cold all day, especially with two young kids, not this girl.
"Want me to take one of them from you?" Carrying those two would take a toll on Noelle if she did it for long enough.
Hady was so excited about the idea of her taking the twins to the zoo. Maybe Noelle would grab Lulu and take her as well. But if she did that, her brothers would want to go too and that would be a whole thing.... She'd think of something. "Okay! Ill tell mom that im taking lulu and then ill just come and get the twins." She said as she bobbed the twins on her hips.
They were a little heavy.
Noelle giggled as Hady's eyes lit up at talking about Frankie's and her apartment. "So did you get any pink in it? Or is it a green, red vibe." Because Gryffindor and Slytherin. Heh. "Is it weird seeing him everyday.. but like seeing him?" Noelle asked... wondering how it would be if her and Noah ever lived together. She'd probably get on his nerves.
"No.... okay fine. Which one of you munchkins want Hady?" She asked the twins, letting them decide so she wouldn't be the bad guy.

The grin that seemed to be perma-charmed onto her face grew even wider as he spoke.. "I could help with that, it helps having a Duke in the family. " She said with a soft giggle as she looked up at him. "You know, that might actually be able to be arranged, seeing as he is Jace's Uncle..Though I have yet to meet him. " She pointed out. Shocking for her really, but she had managed to not fall down lately?
Even despite the fact that a certain Slytherin made her go weak in the knees whenever she saw him..
Just saying.
Like currently when he adopted a bit of his accent. Sweet Fwoopers above! She was pretty sure her legs were jelly..
She leaned against him a bit as he spoke and nodded at her and she laughed a little, "Ahhh yeah, and then you punched a wall, and kissed me if I recall correctly. " She said with a soft giggle.. "So apparently my anger makes people want to kiss me? " She laughed a little as she looked up at him. "Ohhh and do we like me fiesty? " She asked him with a gentle poke before smiling as he rubbed their noses together..
Asdfghjkl!!!
Cue heart melting here!
"Sweets? " Huh what?
*blink blink*
"Oh yeah! That sounds great! And ahh.. " she blushed and cleared her throat a little.. "Yeah, I might need a piggy back ride seeing as someone has caused all the bones in my legs to liquify. " She gently poked him and she tried to control her blush.
He was seeing new sights to Azura, and Cornelius was pretty certain she wasn't ALL that sweet and cuddly. Maybe like...2% not that. That was pushing it too far. Probably 1.2%. The rest 98.8% was all sweet and cuddly. At her second comment, the boy raised an eyebrow. He was well aware of her accident prone self. "You haven't been to the hospital wing?" A smirk lifted the corner of his lips. "No catastrophes?" That was quite a wonder.
Cornelius could tell Azura's legs were only growing soggier the more they stood. It amused him. He held her securely against him.
He nodded and nodded again. "Yep. I did that and that." What heartbreak could do, eh? Cornelius grinned next. "Hope's just me kissing those lips." His cheeks tinted a soft red, but it was quickly disguised with a laugh. "Feisty Azura was pretty hot. You can feisty whenever you please," he said, accompanying it with a cheeky grin. And yes, it was a verb now.
He was being honest.
The curly-head pulled away slightly, and still holding a hand of hers, he turned around and bend his knees a bit. Tall people problems, when you're future girlfriend was a tiny doll. "Oh yeah, blame it alllll on me." He gave a snort. "All I did was give my dazzling self to you." LOL.

Could she reach?
Azura grinned at his surprise and gently poked his stomach.. "Hey! I can manage to walk.. at times. " She conceded. "And really, I'm convinced most of the ground really likes me, so it trips me on purpose. " The fifteen year old smirked a bit.. "You might have some competition. " She said with a silly grin.. Yes competition from the landscape.
She held onto him tightly cause really her legs felt like jelly and her brain was pretty much like melted butter right now.. Hmm.. if she had any bread she'd be a tasty sandwich?
Anyways...
She too flushed a little as he spoke but she nodded. "Of course it's just you kissing me. " The Raven haired Ravenclaw assured the curly headed Slytherin. She wasn't kissing anyone else and she didn't want too. She was his.. even though they weren't official yet, she was treating it like they were in her head..
She grinned at him as he spoke and she nodded.. "Very well! I shall feisty when I want then. " And she stuck out her tongue at him just to prove it..
She grinned as the tall teen knelt down so she could get onto his back and as she clamored on she giggled at his words..
"Hey now! You are very dazzling and us mere mortals have trouble adjusting at times. " She teased him.

Ya know what, Genny wanted to teach Benny how to not be nervous and scared when he makes a mistake. Poor boy was basically shaking from fear. "Okay, don't worry, we'll find her. You're obviously great with this stuff or the professors won't trust you." She even touched his shoulder in reassurance. Never fear Genny was here.
Benny and Genny were quite a cute combination for partners, she thought. "Oh." He named her Penelope. "Maybe you can name my owl, then. Had him for four years and never named him." Maybe because she wanted a more exotic pet but her dad said no she had to have something like the other kids. Ugh. She did not care for the owl, okay. Benny was promising her button immunity though, look at that. "Thank you. Okay." She trusted him, if professors trusted him with her nifflers who was Genny to doubt him?
She squatted behind Benny behind the bush. "Do we jump at her when she goes for it then?" Or did they have to use a spell? This was exciting!

Hadleigh was always up for seeing her friends and family while she was doing her job at the zoo. Anyone was always welcome to come visit her while she was there just so that they fully understood she was there for a reason and couldn't go wandering around or spending all her time with them. Which she knew Noelle would know which was why she supported this idea to the fullest. "That sounds perfect. Just let me know when so I can have my dad or someone have them ready for you." Sometimes it took a bit to get two kids ready especially know that Katalin was pregnant again as well.
The brunette couldn't help it. She had known Frankie since her fourth year and had been dating him since her fifteenth birthday (she didn't like to be reminded of them time they broke up). Whenever the blonde was mentioned she had to smile. "I did once just to bug him but it was only for a few hours." It was funny at the time. "Actually it's neither. We went more natural feeling, calming and relaxing. There's color around for sure and we both found ways to honor our houses but mostly we stuck to what we both really liked." It hadn't been entirely easy but she knew from their time spent in the RoR and that old classroom what they both liked. Fireplaces, open space, windows and comfy seating. Weird? "Not so much. At first yeah, kinda but I got used to it and now I don't think I could handle being anywhere else without him." It had been so easy to adjust to having him there with her.
Hady knew right away how heavy carrying about two toddlers got when you weren't used to it. So when Noelle agreed to pass her one of the kiddos she wasn't surprised nor did it surprise her when the girl asked the kids who wanted to go to her. Small arms reached out for Hady and she lifted Luna from Noelle's arms to hold her in her arm. Little Lukas gripped the front of his buddies coat signaling that he wasn't about to leave her. "I think you have an official monkey of your own today," she laughed. "He won't leave you unless you make him." Lukas loved being held, cuddled and babied.

Okay... okay she was being so nice. Not like Cassie nice, but super duper nice and he was lying to her. He couldn't lie to her anymore. He hated lying and it really ate him alive. Like when he kissed Katy and had to tell Cassie he did. Nope, he couldn't do something like that again. "No, they don't trust me that much. I took her without asking. She wasn't supposed to leave the school. I thought I could handle her so I just took her and now she is lost and I'm going to get into so much trouble." There is was out and the fifteen-year-old took a deep breath glad that was out in the open.
She was still being so nice and now she wanted him to name her owl? He loved creatures and he could do that. "Four years and no name? How do you call it? All creatures should have names. They understand you, you know. Even if people try to say they don't. They do." He was sure of it. "I might have to see him though, see what name jumps out for him. " They could figure one out for sure though.
His eyes stayed on the button. They had to catch her, come on Penelope! "I think once she spots it we will have to move fast, but we don't want to jump to scare her either. So I think if we both take a side and just move fast then grab her it will work. She won't bite." At least he hoped she wouldn't, she had never bit before. "Maybe I should be the one to grab her just in case." He didn't want Genny getting bit just because she was helping him.
Okay... okay she was being so nice. I thought I could handle her so I just took her and now she is lost and I'm going to get into so much trouble." .............. what. Genny looked confused. This wasn't like a small lie, it was a whole big lie because he let her think it was true for a bit longer than permitted when you lie to your friends. "Oh." But also it wasn't a lie about her or one that affected her so she couldn't be mad at him, right? now she should just be careful about what he said instead of believing him right away. This was going to be hard because Genny's instincts were to believe people. "Mkay." she muttered when he finished.
Yup, four years and no name. "Didn't have to call him, he lives in the tower and flies down to me when I walk in with food and a letter." She explained, happy that he agreed to see her own and name him. "Alright. I'll introduce you when we're done with this Nifflers business."
As for Penny (Genny called her that in her head because she thought it suited a creature better), they were to ambush her in a way. "I'll go to her right." She decided. "I'll stop her from running, but yeah please try to catch her with your hands." She would smell his scent and know he was a familiar person so wouldn't bite him, right? Genny would just make sure her button remained intact and clean.
Let your light shine || Be the sun || You're important. Always.

"What about if we strive for not this weekend but the next?" That way she could get Noah to come with her. And her mom to apparate them both. "Ill bring Noah too. " she was sure he'd want to get out of the hospital.
Awwwwww! Hady and Frankie were adorable together. Of course, Noelle had a crush once upon a time on Frankie... but she wouldn't tell Hady that. It was just that.. a simple crush. She was over the moon for Noah though. She wouldn't have it any other way. She just always was inspired by Frankie. She was following in his footsteps in a way. One that she hadn't actually planned. It had been a delightful surprise. "You two are meant to be." Noelle knew it. Even during their break, she never lost hope for them.
Noelle's arm felt a lot better once Luna had went into Hady's arms. She didn't mind carrying Lukas. He wasn't that heavy. She adjusted him in his arm to give her other arm a little break. "I am definitely okay with that."
