A musty old closet under near the grand staircase contains brooms, mops, and various other cleaning supplies, including that amazing soap and softener from last term's laundry days. So maybe somebody should make use of them!
OOC NOTE: All SS Board Rules and School Rules apply in this closet. Violators may be punished both IC and OOC for any inappropriate behavior taking place in this thread.

There was always the chance she’d wiggle away, or the person would give up. Maybe they’d forgotten about the fact they were supposed to reveal the other person somehow. That was always possible, and she would have really despised getting anything thrown on her. Whoever it was couldn‘t throw anything if they kept on hugging strangling her.
Except, in the next second she was visible. Or at least semi-visible. To her eyes she still looked kind of transparent, but that slowly faded as the echo of the spell finally reached her. It hadn’t been a revealing spell but a finishing spell. Although, in the next second or so the person had made their mistake. The real one, since she’d missed the casting of the spell at first, until she’d reappeared.
“Homenum Revelio!,” she cast, directing her wand movement toward the voice. The voice that had obviously stepped further away from her once they’d realized who she was. Or at least what House she was in. Good baby student, and she’d smirked a little as her spell had revealed them. So it was a Claw. She would have thought those would be too smart to risk hugging her, even if she was invisible. But the boy was awfully little, even in her eyes. Maybe he hadn’t learned how things worked yet.
She was tempted to make herself invisible again though. Just because.
Aldous was feeling smug but he did not know how to look smug. He made a mental note to learn how to, it could look cool sometimes. But anyway, he was proud of himself even though he did not remember the revealing spell. In his defense he accidentally bumped into the girl he was just planning on hiding and had not thought the strategy of finding someone through. And speaking of, the girl did NOT look amused that he ended her disillusion charm. Oh, and her wand was pointed at him now. For a split second he panicked but then heard the spell, right. Sure she would want to reveal him. And she remembered the spell, ahem. Well, she had time!
He glanced down to see that he was visible again, cool. "Good," Because she managed to do it from the very first time which was a big deal for the firstie when it came to new spells. So he was being sort of encouraging and all. And she probably did not need nor want, so he was going to shut up right about now.
And the professor was now talking. The first-year turned his attention on the man. Ooh, they were moving on. Aldous put his wand back in the holster and followed the professor. Where were they going NOW?

“What the!” Sabbath clutched his side and stumbled sideways upsetting a stack of containers which clattered down to the floor. Something or someone had suddenly poked him in the ribs - oomph! He looked around but couldn’t see anything.
He picked up one of the containers which had already oozed it’s bluish contents in an arc across the stone flooring. He read the label, “WIZ - the laundry detergent preferred by 4 out of 3 housewitches”, he lowered the somewhat misogynistic container and looked around. Had the professor even noticed? It seemed he was busy talking to the class about moving again, so probably not.
Should he try to aguamenti this mess, or should he just get out of there (he was leaning towards the latter)? And more importantly, who or what had poked him in the first place? He clutched his rib where he’d been poked and glanced around.

This was hard. Crouching low in a corner in low light and listening to the sounds of the students tumbling along in front of him or yelping for whatever reason but it wasn't hard 'cause he was scared that at any moment he'd get caught, it was hard because his feet were starting to cramp up and he felt like he'd been quiet for a REALLY long time.
It was for that reason that the boy hopped up so suddenly when the lights finally came back on the Professor was ushering them out of the closet. They did it! They went the whole class VISIBLE without getting caught even once!
WHERE WAS HIS GENIUS FRIEND???
Blaise was all proud grinning as he left the closet and grabbed his stuff he'd left by the door. The Professor was talking about magic not being the only way again and he assumed he was talking about him and Daxton which only served to tell him that magic wasn't the only way to excel at this school. Quite a relief too or he'd probably have to drop out. His mum wouldn't be too fond of the idea...

Apparently she hid for a long time. With her injured shoulder, Ava couldn't really move like usual. That's why she decided to stay hidden. But at least she did catch Owen. Hehehe. And now they moved to the next place? Woah, this was sooooo exciting! She cast the finite charm to make her visible again. "Finite!" Then she followed the Professor man to the next destination.

Oh good...she was willing to help. "Alright," Benny said with a nod before moving slowly in one direction with his wand raised. The lack of light was making this all so interesting. Yet he thought he might have heard something from a spot of nothing. However before he could cast, there was some light returned to the space and Professor Dakest was speaking to them again. Oh phooey...he had missed out finding anyone in this location, though it seemed they were simply moving on and not ending altogether.
And see...the man agreed spells could give you away.
"Guess we're moving on," he mused to his short-lived partner beside him. Benny headed to leave the broom cupboard with the rest of the class including Paulina, wondering what was in store for them next.
The darkness was working out rather well for Daxton. He had decided to stay put in the shadows, completely still and listening out for anyone who passed by too close to him, but the idea turned out to be a success.
There was one great crash, and then moments later one of the torches was aflame once more, throwing light out into the broom closet. Daxton stepped out of the shadows, quite eager to be free from the room. He was less enthusiastic about a new mystery location, but his curiosity, as usual, won out, and so he followed the general throng of students to... wherever it was they were going.

"Thanks. Maybe you should try the incantation, though, 'cause I bet you'll need it soon. It's Disillusio." Helpful Dot was so helpful, and she didn't want to think about that bucket anymore, so she turned to wedge herself a bit closer to the wall.
Now... to be an invisible ginger. "Disillusio," she tried out the spell, and she felt paler than before for sure. Other than that... oh, no arm! Excellent start. Was the rest of her missing too, or was she just standing here like a half-visible experiment gone wrong? Let's see if anyone managed to find her.
Kate nodded. "Right. I should get on that soon," she agreed. Advice from an older student, a prefect at that, was advice she made a special note to follow. Besides, Kate had done nothing as far as hiding herself. Dot had done all that for her, and even then, it'd just been a mop bucket to the head concealment. She still figured she would have died in battle had this been real. "Thanks again for all your help." For the concealment and for the actual incantation.
The professor was calling them all back to class now, though, so Kate couldn't even practice at the moment. She had nothing left to reveal, because she'd never actually been hidden in the first place. Oh, well. She was pretty proud of that one spell she did cast. Now...off to the classroom we go!
Kate turned on her heels and followed the others out the broom closet.

Oh no. Noelle had started the poor boy and had sent him sailing into some.... was that laundry detergent?? She saw the blue stuff escaping on the ground and on no.... some had gotten on her robes, indicating where she was.
Bending, she tried to get it off but was making a mess and drawing attention to her not to invisible self now. She stopped moving and blinked. There was no way he had missed that...
Or had he?

Apparently the class was moving again, so said the professor. So Janelle tried to shake off some of the glitter that was still covering her before exiting the broom closet. That proved to be a rather difficult task, but she did the best she could. Once she was properly de-glittered, Janelle she followed the professor out of the classroom and headed toward parts unknown.

They were leaving? AWESOME.
Not that he hated this place. Broom closets were great. But only for snogging. Not for field trips. What kind of Professor took their class on a field trip to a broom closet? Had Zander mentioned his utter disappointment yet? Because we expected great things from Dakest. Not a broom closet. The man had gone nuts.
So Zander didn't even care where they went next. Anything was a step up from a broom closet. He was sure of it. Speaking of which, WAIT UP!!! ZANDER WAS COMING!!!

Ok, he'd just quickly aguamenti this mess and get out of here, he'd better hurry too, the rest of the class was already moving on. He waved his wand and said "aguamenti" with conviction, he needed a fairly strong stream of water to get rid of this mess. The water sprayed out of his wand quickly and he squirted the jet in arc to ensure he rinsed away all the mess, when suddenly, the water jet hit something solid and splashed back towards him. He heard a small scream - He squinted and leaned forward slowly to look more closely at the dripping form! 'Noelle??' he queried. Suddenly the poke in his ribs, made perfect sense - "Well, well, well" he said placing his hands on his hips and shaking his head.
He'd started to laugh at her predicament, when he realised that the combination of the water jet and magic laundry soap had caused a mass of bubbles to snake up all around them. Bright blue and of a touchable rubbery consistency, the bubbles seemed be multiplying at an alarming rate. Then, some of the bubbles started propelling themselves suddenly towards him and Noelle. Great rubbery globs of them were already sticking onto their robes! Then it twigged, "They're laundry soap bubbles, they must be attracted our clothes!" he said. They were clearly in danger of being entirely engulfed by these things. He grabbed for Noelle's hand, as more bubbles started flinging themselves towards their robes "Quick, lets get out of here"

Noelle laughed once he figured out that Noelle was the one that had poked him. But.... But what was he doing?! You don't spay water onto the laundry detergent! "Sabbie n-!" Too late.... He'd already done it.
And now there were bubbles EVERYWHERE.
Noelle looked around and noticed everyone was leaving. The professor was moving on. Noelle felt her hand being taken and gasped as she realized the bubbles were after her clothes. "Stay back bubbles!!" She called as her and Sabbie followed the rest of the students out.

So, Adi just had to get out of his common room. Why you may ask? Those comic books on that bookshelf were practically yelling his name, beckoning him to read them but he couldn't afford to be distracted by them again. After reverting Gus from a goblet, he too a trip to wherever his feet wanted to go. Soon, he found himself at that very broom closet where one of the DADA classes had been held for an activity.
There would be plenty of stuff here to continue working on that Transfiguration homework so in went the Hufflepuff! The first things that caught his eyes were the soaps. Those would be perfect for the next spell on the list! "Flintifors!" he thought, pointing and flicking his wand upwards. Of course nothing happened. His spell work was being backwards. Whereas he should be having problems with the advanced spells, he seemed to have gotten rusty with the spells taught to him a while ago.
"Flintifors!" Point and upwards flick!

Annnnd... gotcha!
There was one matchbox in his hand.
Now he had an urge to sing a Matchbox 20 song. LOL.
