SPOILER!!: Echo

"thats amazing Hady, were doing so well" she beamed at the older snake, as she stayed closer to Hady. "Thanks" she said after she had knocked down her pervious castles. "Bartholomew??? thats such a strange name for a huge giant.... and wait.. hes nice and he posed for a photo??" she asked her friend.. that was just strange and weird for her to hear. Laughing because she couldn't figure out what else to do Echo Kept an eye out for some more castles and one was close to her friend.

"oh i'll grab that yellow castle over there" she told her as she ran over and tapped her wand and said "Aquatraxi Gravita" and she moved back to see the waves come in and take over the Yellow sand castle as she smiled and giggled. So far this was her favorite class because it was just so much fun.

"Im going to be so tired after this" telling Hady, because she knew after this she would want to have a nap, thats for sure.

"We sure are!" she encouraged her younger housemate and friend. Yeah the Giant Squids behavior may have sounded weird but it was true, she could even ask Adi if she wanted he had been there too. "Mhmm. Granted he was waving his tentacles around and spraying water everywhere so it's blurry but I have the photo in my dorm." If Echo wanted to see it she'd gladly show it to her after class was over.

Watching as the smaller snakette took off to knock down a castle Hady took the moment to raise her own wand and firmly give herself a tap to the head while reciting "Aquatraxi Gravita." Some more castles needed to be knocked down and that's just what was going to happen. Hady headed for the closest castle which just happened to be red. The closer she got to the quicker the a wave formed up and went spilling over the sandcastle spraying Hady with water.

Laughing quietly she wiped some water from her face with the back of her hand and brushed some stray strands of now wet hair behind her ear. "I think a lot of us will be tired after this." She agreed looking over to where Echo now was. Tired was good though it meant she'd sleep well tonight.

"thats just so cool" she told her friend while watching all the waves come in and take out the sand castles.. "I think we should work on getting the Red ones, there seems to be alot around the area." why did it seem like there were barely any Green or Blue around?? hmmmmmm. "want to walk up to the dorm together after class?" she wanted to make sure a, that she got up to the school okay after this and b, incase she needed an arm to lean on because she was going to be so tired.

"I SEE ONE" she said a bit too loud as she ran over to the red sand castle as she tapped her wand and said the spell again.

"Bye, bye sand castle" she giggled while standing behind it watching the waves take it away and the little red flag.

SPOILER!!: Echo

Scanning the area for sandcastles that weren't green Hady gave a nod of her head in reply to Echo. "Yeah there does seem to be quite a few of those but I don't think it matters to much just so we don't take out our own color." Cause yeah that would seriously stink. Having not given much thought to what she was going to do after the lesson she once more nodded. "Sure." A comfy beanbag chair, maybe a book or her two-way mirror sounded nice once they were finished. She couldn't wait to tell her friend back home about this.

Watching once more as Echo dashed off to destroy a castle Hady went the opposite way grinning at the way the waves were following her movements. Creeping up behind another castle she laughed to herself as a wave broke just at the base of it and then a larger one crashed ashore just a second later demolishing the blue sandcastle.

Hearing the well known voice of her friend beside her once again she grinned warmly over her shoulder at her. "You're doing great Echo! Just do the best you can and once class if over you can get some rest." She tried to encourage her. She was sure the lesson was almost finished anyhow with how quickly the sandcastles were being taken out.

This was all sorts of fun. It was so much fun in fact that he was oblivious to everybody else moving about on the platform. Nothing else mattered except for the tides and the destruction of sandcastles.

Speaking of which.

NEXT TARGET!

Zeke crossed the platform quickly to the other side and avoiding a cluster of reds, he went for an area dominated by yellow's and green's.

He was the MOON, he was OOOZING tidal influences, COME TO HIM WAAAVES! COME!

The closer he got, the aggressive the waves seemed to get as they rose onto the platform shore... and then just like that, his boots were engulfed with water and spray... as were the sandcastles. Bye bye.

ACTIVITY TIME! YEEEEAAHHH! Norah wiggled excitedly as she waited for time to GET GOING. She didn't even have time to wonder how Professor Flamsteed could come up with so many fun activities all the time because she was far too busy plotting which castle to get first.

At the signal, she sprinted towards a Gryffindor castle and stood behind it, waiting waiting waiting for the big wave to come in and SMUSH IT FLAT. Except it...didn't. Huh? Why wasn't it co--OH. THE SPELL. RIIIIIGHT. The fourth year grinned sheepishly at the students nearby because excitement got in the WAY sometimes, and removed her wand from her pocket again, giving herself a tap on the head. "Aquatraxi Gravita!" COME ON WAVE! She watched hopefully as the water neared the castle aaaaand went back before destroying anything. Lame lame LAME.

The Hufflepuff gave her wand a stern look before lifting it above her head again. Come on, wand. Do your stuff right. "Aquatraxi Gravita!" and TAP. AWWW YEAH. The wave came surging over the Gryffindor castle, splashing her purple wellies and turning the castle into a pile of MUSH.

"Take THAT! Moon Norah's got got it GOING OOOOON" HEH. She splashed in the puddle leftover like an ickle duckling ('cept not a super ickle one 'cause she was fourteen and NOT ickle) before looking around for her next victim.

From here he could see the Giant Squid's tentacles splashing and flailing about in the lake... it was pretty cool that he could help. How many schools had giant squids that participated in lessons, huuuuhhhh? He was sure that Durmstrang didn't have one. Lame.

Nevertheless, his eye was still on the prize... was there a prize? Like, a legit prize? He hoped so, he really liked those. A nice self-saucing pudding would do the trick.

Sprinting to his next target, Zeke noticed that his pull had worn off, his presence did nothing for the water. GAAAAHHHH!

Focusing, steadying his breathing, Zeke tried again.

"Aquatraxi Gravita!" he cast, tapping his wand to his head for what felt like the hundredth time today. Testing the waters, he neared, and sure enough the waves rolled in to meet him. To meet him, and to end two castles as well. This time it was a blue and a green to succumb to the tide.

Letting her younger friend take a moment to regain her breath Hady decided to continue in her pursuit of sandcastle destruction. First though she needed to recast the charm as she was sure it was beginning to fade seeing as the waves weren't exactly following her lead anymore. Giving herself a tap on the head with her wand she spoke nice and clearly, "Aquatraxi Gravita!"

Not wanting to disappear to far from Echo Hady took off towards some castles across the platform from where they had been. As she was running through the puddles and sand and sidestepping around her friends when she could her focus remained on the castles. This was how she ended up some how tripping over tossed about sand piles and toppling down into the sand face first..well almost face first. Luckily she had just enough time to throw down one of her hands but that didn't keep her from hitting her head off the edge of a different castle. Really! Ouch! Sandcastles were supposed to be made of sand not feel like rock!

With a quiet mumbled groan she raised a hand to rub her head certain she was going to have a nice headache later on. This was done just in time to see a large wave sweep over where she was just about to get to her feet soaking her rather good but also a yellow and red castle.

Well she might be soaked and have a headache but at least she'd managed to take down two more sandcastles during her failing moment. Now she just hoped no one saw that.

He was in such a good mood that he even made his special tide arm wave motions and a "Whfffooooossshhhhhssssssshhhhhhh," as an imitation of the sound of water moving. Yep. HE WAS A MOON-TIDE! Because he wanted to be both, not just one, he was going to be both!

Side stepping a red castle, Zeke moved to put as much distance between himself and it as possible. He didn't want his gravitational force enticing the waves to damage his own teams chances of winning.

Instead, he lured the waters splash right at a blue castle.


SSSSSSPLLLAAAASSHHHHHHH.

Down it went, and... was that water IN his wellingtons again?!

Omo, why on earth she had to scream to him? Jackson couldn't help but blink. He didn't know it was an accident, okay? "Sorry, I didn't know that it's an accident. AND STOP YELLING AT ME!" Wait, but he just yelled at Nat too. Well, he's not yelling because of her. HE WAS SO ON FIRE!

Concentrating, he tried to destroy other castles. But it seemed like he needed to re-cast the spell. "AQUATRAXI GRAVITA!" He tapped his wand to his head, it didn't matter how hurt his head was when he tapped his head. Now he spotted two yellow castle nearby and tried to destroy them. He closed his eyes and concentrated. CONCENTRATION! As he opened his eyes, the two castles had dissolved by water. "Look at that!" He said to Nat. "So far I'd destroy... five, and none of them are red."

Zhenya thought the spell was still lasting, so she went up to a yellow one and waited, waited. The tide may have inched slowly towards the castle, but retreated before it actually touched the castle.

Bad luck.

She went away from the yellow castle and performed the spell again, this time hoping it would stick like it had the prior time. She walked up to another castle, this one a bit further away from the edge of the platform, and waited as a big wave came towards her, and gobbled the red sandcastle up and away. Delightful. There were still castles to be destroyed! She walked towards another one at random.

Zeke wasn't going to worry about wet socks right now, it wasn't going to kill him, and there was still work to be done.

ROAR ROAR GRYFFINDOR!!!!

He had an honour to defend! He was wondering if he might be able to manipulate the waves to crash other waves crashing... push them off course so to speak. It would likely prove handy considering he could intercept waves that were targeting red castles. Maybe. Or maybe not.

At any rate, he wasn't in a mood to experiment right now, he would just stick to what he did best. Destroying things.

Leading the waves closer to the platform shore, he directed them straight into the path of two green castle. TWO! In ONE hit!!!

HAHAHAHAHA. He felt like an evil genius, though he didn't mind the green ones, the ones he REALLY wanted to be rid of were the yellow ones. Yellow was such an ordinary colour for sand.

As Kace was looking for a sand castle to destroy. He already destroyed a green one. That was off the list. He scanned and decided to hit on the lions. I mean it was nothing out of rivalry or such, he just wanted to get his girlfriend's house. As he was about to get the lions red sandcastle, he heard Lux's comment and he glared at her and stuck his tongue at her. "In your dreams little red.." he grinned and he knew the Apparecium rumor caused some tension between them but everyone should know he loved Emmy with all his heart. That was that.

He saw Lux dancing and he couldn't help but laugh. I mean THAT was entertaining right there. Now he needed to focus. He was gonna destroy Pucks, Cinnas, Emmys and Professor Aireys house sandcastle. He began to conjure the charm again and said, "AQUATRAXI GRAVITA!" and he saw the waves being pulled towards the red sandcastle. It was coming, coming....

COME ONNNNN WAVEEEE YOU CANNNN DO ITTTT

Then it stopped short. Like whattt???? Like how in the bloody merlin did that happen? He thought he conjured the spell correctly. Ahh well. Time to redo it.

Didn't know why but it seemed like he was on a mood to destroy the yellow castles.

Maybe because the Puff students were attacking their castles. Huzzah!

The Korean boy then tried to find the castles that he needed to destroy, not the red one please. He wasn't dumb like Nat who destroyed their own house castle. Hehehe. Okay, Jackson. Focus and concentrate. He spotted two other yellow castle. Hehehehe. Smirking, he concentrated so the tide came closer to him and destroyed the target castles. ANOTHER TWO YELLOW CASTLES DOWN! WOOT! If only the Astronomy activity at his former school was as fun like this.

TIME TO FIND ANOTHER CASTLE TO DESTROY

Off Toby went, on to his next sandcastle target. He didn't look for one to try and take down for very long, because the more thought he put into it, the guiltier Toby ended up feeling about targeting a specific house. It was easier just go for the first one that caught his eye; minimal guilt, see?

So yes, off he went, this time running right at a BLUE sandcastle, and doing his spell as he scurried, just as before.

Except, um... it didn't work out quite so well this time.

"Aquatraxi Gravita!" Incantation done, yep. No problems there. He even whapped himself on the head with his wand with no problems. The ISSUE came from a lack of concentration. Which didn't just affect the spell, either... "-whoAHhh!"

*FWOOSH-SPLATTER!*

Distracted by the sight of one of Bartholomew Henry's tentacles breaking the surface of the water, Toby had raised a free hand to waaaaave at him, right at the very moment that his foot slipped out from under him. His attention elsewhere, he'd had no time to try to correct his footing, and HIT THE DECK which a strange shallow-sounded SPLASH.

Aaaaand now he was soaked. Well, that was probably always on the cards. Except, as Toby noticed while trying to right himself, that wasn't the only issue.

"Oh nooooooo..." The sandcastle. It was WRECKED. He must have kicked it in his eagerness to make the floor's acquaintance. And now blue sand was everywherrrre. But... a sudden thought occurred to Toby. Did this mean he'd CHEATED? Because he'd WRECKED the sandcastle but not with the TIDE.

O__________________________O

UNACCEPTABLE.

Suddenly, like a man on a mission, Toby dropped back to his knees (ow) and began hurriedly scooping all the blue sand back in an attempt to restore the castle to its former glory. Obviously the spell he'd tried had NOT worked, probably 'cause he'd been distracted, but that was GOOD 'cause he could rebuild the sandcastle in peace.

And THEN destroy it.

When Toby stood again, at his feet was... well... a pile of sand. A lumpy mockery of a sandcastle. But it was UPRIGHT and REBUILT and ready to be torn back down in a way that was more befitting with the rules, okay? Okay.

Time for take TWO, then.

Time for round two to get the red sand castle. Last time it wasn't successful. He needed to try and work on his concentration for the spell. He saw another red castle really close to the water. He grinned and this should be easy. He had his wand at the ready and I mean he already casted the spell but it was weak in his opinion. He wanted to cast it again.

He got his wand at the ready and said, "Aquatraxi Gravita!" and then he saw the waves coming near the sandcastle and it get the red sandcastle down. Heeheheheh success! He grinned and looked for his next target. He scanned the place for sandcastles. It was lowering in numbers right now. He saw one that was by it lonesome and it was a blue one. Mwaahahah prepare to meet your final end Mr. Blue sandcastle.

He got his wand at the ready and I mean he already had the spell casted and the waves were going to come to him. He got near the water and he saw the wave coming up slowly.....and he was waiting to see what would happen.

Of course Kace would be up for the challenge; he always was. Lux smirked at him and watched him target one of the red sandcastles. How ruuuuuuuuuude of him. She giggled then laughed at the wave stopped short. She was just having fun with him and he would understand that. "It's a sign that you can't possibly win." Yep. So he might as well admit defeat.

This time she picked agreen castle to go after because its sand looked almost as pretty as the blue when it was being destroyed by waves. Standing behind it, she bounced on her feet as she waited for the wave to come and wash it away. It grew in size and crashed into the castle and of course she was seriously kicking Kace's butt.

Now on to another one!

Zhenya was starting to get a bit warm now. Her heart was beating faster and she was breathing much deeper. Almost like she was puffed out, but she was having TOO MUCH FUN to stop! So she kept doing, darting this way and that way deciding where to stop and be the moon and bring the tide in. Just happened that the next castle she stood in front of was a YELLOW one! It was soon washed away as the tide came in, attracted to her like a magnet. Well she wasssss playing part of the moon!

Next castle she darted to was a red one! She stood a bit further back from it, seeing if the tide would come, and it did, washing away the red sandcastle. She just had to stop and catch her breath for a few moments, because she was getting a bit out of breath.

It was SO EXCITING to be outside, practically in the lake and highfiving the squid, and playing a game. Dot bounced around on the periphery, delighted to be outside. Delighted to be playing and enjoying the brisk air.

And FURIOUS at the people who were taking out green sandcastles. How. Dare. They. Was this a conspiracy? A farce? If there was any way to spark the fury of a ginger Slytherin, it was coming after her sandcastles. Did they know what they were dealing with? DOT WOJACK-GUSEY WAS THE MOON.

"Aquatraxi Gravita," Dot cast the spell on herself post haste and scurried toward the nearest non-green sandcastles. She was the moon. The mooooooooon. And if she could just get close enough, she'd pull in a wave and knock over... SPLASH.

YES! TWO stupid red castles were down for the count. SHE WAS THE MOON.

Eden was EXTREMELY annoyed she could not get the spell to work for her. Just. Like. HOW RUDE, SPELL? Everyone else had gone all FIRE CRAZY just now--and were destroying castles like it was the War of the Roses ROUND THREE? Two?

UGH.

The Ravenclaw aimed her wand at her head and...took a deep breath. "Aquatraxi Gravita!" she cried, and was happy to see some tiiiiides rolling her way. She jumped up and down in excitement and waaaaved her arms around, as if moving would make the tides come FASTER.

THIS WAS FUN AND COOL AND PROFESSOR FLAMSTEED WAS FUN AND COOL AND KFHEURHGEIUGH

She was very satisfied when the tide rolled in....and completely FLATTENED the green castle she wanted it too...WAAAHOOO! She decided to give herself a HIGH FIVE--LITERALLY, JUST CLAPPING, THOUGH, BUT IT WORKED.

Natalia pretended not to hear Jackson over all the commotion, being too focused on the tumultuous game to bother responding to a critical little buffoon like Jackson. She didn't need any distractions right now. The Gryffindor team needed to win, and having a captious team member on the same side was NOT HELPING.

"Aquatraxi Gravita!" Extermination of the fourth castle COMPLETE. Natalia wanted to stuck out her tongue out at Jackson and boast her lovely destruction of that green castle. But she was pretending that he did not exist, so the boasting had to be put aside for now.

Natalia grew careful into picking targets; she made sure all RED castles were out of range of her targets. It became sort of like an OCD now, making sure that the color RED did not appear anywhere near her vision of sight. Yes, that was how competitive Natalia could become in such a simple sport.

"Aquatraxi Gravita!" There went Natalia's first blue castle and her fifth overall demolition. MWAHAHA Natalia was starting to feel like some sort of a sandcastle-super-slayer!

Lifting her head proud, Natalia shot Jackson a sneer without meeting him in the eye (still pretending he didn't exist) and walked past him like he was a simply air.

Now, when will Bartholomew show up??

Even though he hadn't failed at this, per se, he did notice that the strength of the spell/charm thing wasn't his strongest, and he had to continually reapply to in order to continue with the task.

Sigh.

Pausing and collecting his thoughts once more, Zeke tapped his Larch to his head and repeated the incantation which he was sure he would NEVER forget now.

"Aquatraxi Gravita."

And then he went on his merry way.

There were fewer castles now, that much was obvious, and what was also obvious was that it seemed SOME people were targeting the red ones! WHAT?! WHO? WHYYYYY?!

This. Was. War.

Only... he was warring with EVERY other colour, so... awkward.

Leading his tide closer, and closer still, Zeke took a few long strides - and just in time - to a yellow sandcastle, the wave topping it over instantly and washing the sand debris over the toe of his wellington boots.

Henric spotted Jackson destroying two of his house sandcastles! That was impossible! But HOW?! o.O He was really good...No no,he couldn't just stand there and leave it alone, he must avenged their honour! With determined pursuit to the Red side, he tapped firmly with his wand and summoned forth the great waves. WHOOSH...his Gryffindor's sandcastle came crumbling down and leave nothing but just watery grave.

"Thou' shalt not win the war!"he announced, imitating the voice of a King who sought plunder and destruction. He laughed," Sorreeh..mate, had to be done!"he called after Jackson.

Henric jaw fell wide when llia destroyed two more of the yellow sandcastles!
"What...how could you..."he gave her a mock look of hurt," I ONLY did one of yours, llia!"he whined. He was playing like a good comrade for his house, he hoped llia didn't take it too hard but apparently, she did. Alright, if she wanted war against his house..then WAR she would get! Time to bring in the BIG guns...and by big guns, he just meant his two pistol-pointing fingers in the air. He ran forward and slide down the slippery platform and pretended to shoot the enemies castles/fortress with unlimited ammo.

"You are going downnnn~~!!"he wailed before firmly taping on his head again to summon the wave. He watched as the small wave of water consumed all of its path, including the the Green sandcastle.

Strategy-wise, Eden thought it best to try to get out the same color castles because THEN it would take a chunk out of ONE team, and not a liiiiittle bit from multiple teams. It made sense to her.

So she was going to aim for more green castles. This revenge against Slytherins...Eden didn't think it was helping her heart at all, but it was nice to channel her feelings somewhere...productive. And not in the tear capacity, either. SO...destroying snake sand castles it was.

She jogged around to stand in front of a green castle and did a few jumping jacks to warm up. "ONE--" ...and now she was counting them aloud, just to get focused, and she did TEN in all. That was nothing. Eden McGee could have done a HUNDRED jumping jacks! YEAAAAAH! BATTLE CRY!

Not really.

But she was pumped for this DESTROYIN' CASTLES game now, and she got in position..."Aquatraxi GRAVITAAAAA!" she got kind of dramatic in that last try...but it worked! And she JOGGED in place and got herself all out of breath, the tiiiiiiides rolling in, flattening the one of the green castles. And she didn't want to recast--so she just jogged to the next castle over--and tried to get the tide that was already formed to knock it down, but it was kind of a weak one, since some time had passed.

UGH.

"Aquatraxi GRAVITAAAA!" she battle!cried again, and when this tide came in....it DESTROYED that green castle.

YEAH!

N'awww. The girl was frustrated. Adi could see that and he really did understand how she felt. He still experienced that whenever he encountered the same difficulty.

"It's the sea breeze and the waves and EVERYTHING!'' Adi replied happily hobbling over to a blue sandcastle next to the girl.

"Sorry but I can't do that. How else would you learn?'' He gave her an encouraging smile. "Come on, you can do it. Take a minute to clear your mind and to re-focus.'' YEP! Because taking a step back and taking a breather was the best thing to do sometimes before delving right in to the fray again.

The Hufflepuff looked back out at the water just in time to see a wave zooming towards him and the castle. WHEEEE! It slammed into the castle, destroying it in a second or two!

ANUZZER ONE DOWN!

Back to the younger girl. "You'll be watching that happen with your own magic,'' he said confidently and gesturing to the remnants of the castle.

Lux saw Kace destroy one of the red sandcastles, and she shook her head. That time he got lucky, but he still didn't stand a chance against her. Competitions were always fun and she did not like losing - would not lose.

Scanning the area, she looked for her next victim and decided that she would go for some more blue ones. Poor Ravenclaw, she was really taking their castles away from them. Hehe. She couldn't help that blue was her favourite colour! But first things first she would perform the spell on herself again because it probably was wearing off by now. Tapping her head with her wand Lux said, "Aquatraxi Gravita."

There. She was ready to go.

Walking along the platform, she stopped behind one of the blueones and waited for the wave to crash into it. It was a good thing that she had done the spell again because otherwise she might have ended up with a failed attempt like Kace had. As it was, the sandcastle got washed away by the water and Lux did a little dance in the sand even though she wasn't sure if that was the best idea during a competition. She just was having fun was all.

Giggling she made her way to the next blue sandcastle and got into place. Eagerly she watched as the water gathered and formed into a wave. It was so cool though fortunately they weren't big waves because that would be dangerous and scary. She liked walking on the beach when the waves came in and kept brushing the shore. Soon this sandcastle was history like the last one.
