He was about to ask Brooklyn about her braid, when more students arrived at the platform. Ethan could not help but wonder about the people that he has only seen in lectures and not really interact with them properly. He glanced at AJ’s twin sister, then did a double take when another girl arrived shortly after Angel. Err...what? He’s literally not just seeing double. Huh. Interesting, and definitely more confusing for his headspace.

Then Aegis happened. Oh yes, he’s heard things, and lucky bloke because he didn’t rat him out in front of his cousin. Ethan wasn’t sure if Uncle Oakey knows a thing or two about Aegis...ahem, behaviour in school, but he’ll keep his lips sealed and shut because, well, it’s not his business?

The Slytherin however automatically rested his arm around Aegis’ shoulders and gave him playful kissy faces. “Awww!!! I bet you’re happy to see me, Jerome!” LOL. He wasn’t sure if Aegis liked being called by his middle name, but he didn’t see any harm doing so. Family friend, yeah?

Henric gathered among his other third-soon to be fourth year mates. As usual, he chatted for awhile and waited patiently for the carriage ride to the castle. That would mean he would see the threstrals again pulling up those carriages. He wondered if they could fly, he never seen one of them did before. Besides that, he was concerned for what to expect in this field trip. He had never been to a portkey before as well. He thought it must be the only way for young underage wizards or witches like him to travel. His adoptive muggle parents were supportive of him going and so they made plans of their own to go back to their home country in Netherlands throughout the duration of his field trip. He would see them only after the field trip ends. He was definitely excited for this trip, he loved to discover new places and this would be his chance to experience it.

Trip time!! Cinna was excited about it ever since she signed up for it.* She may or may not have had her bag packed a few days ago. She was ready no last minute packing here. Probably the first ever she was that prepared for a trip. It seem the only thing she wasn't prepared was losing and not finding people. She didn't know of Bart was here yet or not. Emmy was supposed to be right behind her. She turned around and Emmy was gone.

She was determined to find someone and soon. There were so many already there. She spotted Marigold and waved at her. She wondered if Mitchie was there yet. Probably not he would be right there with Mari if he was.

Surprisingly she wasn't sleepy after staying up last night after Chris and Mercedes's wedding yesterday. So Mitch was probably running late unlike her. She didn't even last night. Being too excited about the next day does that. Ah. There was Bart and Emmy. She ran up behind them and slid between them. "Hey, guys!" She put a arm around both of them. See now she wouldn't lose them. Hehe. Her two favorite people and her on the same trip. This was going great.

Dexter had been about to get all indignant at someone blatantly kicking him while he was nestled here in his spot up against the wall. It wasn't exactly the best vantage point for keeping an eye out for his brother, but it was moderately comfy at least. Even if people WERE all about tripping up over you.

"Sup, big brother?" the Hufflepuff grinned, looking, I'm sure he thought, like butter wouldn't melt. "Nice trip?" Snicker.

Oh gosh! Margo was EXTREMELY hyper today, wasn't she? Adi LOVED it! Hyper, happy attitudes were so contagious and goodness knows the world could do with a lot more of that. "MARGOOOOOOO!'' he echoed, grinning broadly as he was enveloped in a bone crushing hug. Margo got an enthusiastic hug in return too. "Wouldn't miss it. I'm glad you got permission to come along.'' Yep, and he would be taking care of her, keeping her out of any trouble and what not. Not that Margo went looking for trouble. The boy laughed. "You have to catch up then. Don't want to remain short, do ya?'' he teased. "We're going to stick together for this trip, right?"

More students were arriving including AJ. The already very happy Hufflepuff got a little more happy. "Heeeey, AJ.'' He reached for one of her hands and gave it a squeeze. "Missed you,'' he whispered. Mhmm he did. It was weird not seeing her everyday. Anyway, "Margo, you remember AJ, right?'' He had introduced the two of them in a Herbology class sometime during the last term so they should remember each other.

Aw looky! It was Brooklyn. Of course she was pointedly ignoring him. Adi was quite used to that. The girl seemed to be ignoring almost everyone anyway but that didn't mean he would do the same. "Hey, Brooklyn!'' Wanna bet she would continue ignoring him? Hehe.

Adi turned his attention to... Ethan! "Fellow rocker! All set for an adventure?" He returned the salute smartly. And there was Norah! "Hiya, Norah!'' Double thumbs up for you, little lady. "Hey, Angelfish. Hey, Abby.'' Looks like all three Valentines were a go for this trip though the one he cared the most about was by his side. Adi grinned at Austin whom he recognised from the Potions lab last term, Cinnamon and Emmy. But Henric... Adi gave him a fake suspicious look before calling out to him. ''Yo Henric!''

Oh, yeah! This was going to be so much fun!

Abby smiled and said "Hey Adi" Abby was glad that she had managed to get permission to go to the field trip this was going to be a very good summer

Margo smiled with the return hug! She wasn't sure how her first year at Hogwarts would have ever worked had so not found Adi to be her friend. She smiled as she remembered the time he took her to the Lake with the Gaint Squid and all. The lake was still scary but at least the rumors about the Kracken were put to rest. "I'll have you know I grew a whole inch this year!" Margo teased sticking her tounge out at him. Margo looked around at all the people Adi was talking to, it never ceased to amaze her how popular he really was.

"Hello AJ" Margo added looking at Adi's girlfriend. She knew they were a couple and had been for a while, but Margo had never reallly had a chance to get to know her. Margo made a mental note to do so. She enjoyed Adi's company so much, she was sure that his girlfriend had to be just as nice as he was. Why else would he be with her. "Yeah, my dad wanted me out the house anyway, he's a little crabby these days." Margo added. "Plus Marcus never got a Hogwars letter, so my dad doesn't really want much to do with me." Margo added thinking that out of 3 of her parents children, she was the only one who got showed any kind of magical talent. And she was the middle child. Maybe it had something to do with their mother being a witch and Margo being the only girl. But Mason and Marcus would be attending the muggle school near their home for good. And Margo's dad didn't think she was anything special.

Margo couldn't remember if she had told Adi any of this, she probably had, but it felt like and forever since she had talked to Adi

Aegis was taken aback when Ethan threw him a kissy face to go along with the shoulder grab. The ladder he no problem with. "Flipping Flamsteeds, Tyyyler." Aegis pushed Ethan's hand off his shoulder and then pushed his fingers into Ethan's cheeks to make him go Guppy-faced.

He shoved his hands into his pockets next soon after. "You're lucky... You get to have Phie as an Aunt...or Cousin-In-Law...or something." You'd think he wouldn't need to be specific. Seriously The closest he could have Sophie was as an unofficial sister. Which was okay he assumed.

Hell you'd think Ethan was some unofficial Nephew of Aegis' the way he continued to call Oakey his Uncle.... Thank Airey he wasn't really related to the Cursed Former Badger. These friendships and families were getting to intertwined, and too confusing. It's like someone chopped his family tree into firewood, realized their mistake, and attempted to rebuild the tree piece by piece.

The young Ravenclaw was running as fast as she could to the Hogsmeade Train Station where she was supposed to be meeting up with her other classmates for the field trip. She was very excited to be going but it was her father who had been giving the young girl a hard time from the very first moment she had asked him. It had taken many, MANY conversations that involved a lot of pleading for the young girl to finally convince her overbearing father to allow her this fun experience.

But it was when the day had finally come that her father tried to keep her home, which she would have...if she hadn't snuck out of her home just this one time to go on this fun adventure. He would understand wouldn't he? It was for school! She was very fearful of what could occur when she had returned from this field trip, but she tried her best to forget about it, at least for right now.

She had finally arrived at the Train Station & she was finally with the group. "H-Hi everyone.." Josie had seen the Professor & she spoke in a sort of breathless tone, "H-Hello P-Professor Thompson...S-Sorry I-I'm late.." That was when she had seen some of the people who were going on this field trip as well. These faces included a SOPHIE BROWN....along with a boy she was very happy to see. Ethan.

..Not blushing...nope.

They had now reached the halfway summer break mark. Time had flown by quickly mainly because he so far had an eventful summer filled with visits to friends and family and relaxation on his balcony in sun.

Eyes momentarily trailed down to his bags and backpack before Leo turned to Javy shaking his head with a wide beam across his facial features. "Not too shabby at all. I hope everyone will be able to grab a hold of the port key its fairly small."

It was Leo's primary cause of concern as he waited for the students to arrive.



The first incoming student was one of the prefects for Gryffindor. Flashing the senior a big smile Leo said when the boy approached them. "Good morning Zander. We’re super excited for the week too. It will hopefully be memorable."



After Zander he was genuinely happy to see how Sophie Brown made her way over to them. Smiling broadly at her he said "Good morning Sophie, have you got everything packed for a fun week?"



Leo couldn’t help but not grin at the girl that was hopping around on the spot in excitement and anticipation for the trip. "Good morning Chole, did you remember to bring along swimwear?" he wondered with a smile pursing his lips. To where they were going there would be definitely be swimming time.



Next to turn up on the station was Benny Artreyu. Flashing the boy a wide beam as he approached Leo asked. "Good morning Benny. Are you excited for the trip?"



Behind the back of the senior Gryffindor, a much younger Slytherin made his presence known. "Good morning Dante. Have you visited a loch before this trip?" It was good Leo reasoned to know what kind of knowledge the students had going into the trip, and when they eventually got there.



Waving to the badger prefect Leo called over with a cheery smile. "Good morning Adi! Are you looking forward to the trip?"



The blond girl that positioned herself near her and Javy didn’t go unnoticed. Turning his attention to her Leo said "Good morning Brooklyn. Have you got any experience of sleeping in tents before this field trip?"



"Ethan," Leo nodded to the senior snake boy as he joined the growing group on the station platform. There were around 50 students signed up for this trip. Leo hoped that everyone would make it but it was never certain.



Grinning back at the girl who he thought was called Norah Leo called over. "Are you excited for the trip? Not scared of bugs and such critters I hope?" Because at a loch there was bound to be some bugs and flies if not mosquitoes.



"Good morning Bart." Leo said in greeting to the senior boy. "Did you remember to pack your swimwear and wand?" Two important objects that they probably wouldn't survive the field trip without. It was no telling what might happen so Leo hoped everyone had packed after checklist.



"Good morning Heather!" Leo greeted the lioness as she joined them all clad in a nice white and clean shirt. He doubted that the shirt would be white by the end of the week. “Are you ready and excited for the trip?"



Leo wasn't sure if he was comfortable being called a fella by a student but he chose to let it glide past. It was just a too good a morning for him to get irritated. Waving to the senior boy he said "Good morning Dexter! Got everything packed for the trip?"

Dante did see Brookyln when looking at everyone showing up for this trip and gave her a wave back. Well at least he knew people going on his trip. Like Ethan also. "Hey Mr Still Taller Than Me"The sad truth. Since he was a couple years old still. But you know. A guy can dream he shoots up to like 6 foot in one night.

"I am just looking forward to where this trip leads"

And how could he miss the girl Hugo would be dying to talk to this trip. Well maybe they can have some alone time. Maybe. All up to him in the end.

Look who was finally here and not that happy to be on this trip. Well maybe it will get better once the trip actually starts. Or it could get worse. But lets not worry about that now. "Hi" Dante said to Maggie, smiling. "You ready to go to wherever we are going"

Yeah Dante already forgot.

And Thanks to Mr. K for reminding him. Real life saver he is. "Nope. Never been there before. Parents never wanted to go" Dante said shrugging. But they let him go on this trip.

Puck grinned as she arrived at the train station…there were so many people that she knew here that really this could be fun! “Hey Zander,” she gave the CoPrefect a nod as she looked around the group…”Emmy! CInna! Hey,” she grinned at her dormmates…or well practically dormmates the two were in the other fourth year dorm abandoning her, which was sad, but it wasn’t that big of a deal she at least got to hang out with Chloe…and then there were the sleepover things with all of the girls. Really, it was sometimes like a giant slumber party in the Gryffindor girl’s dorm.

She gave Cole and Dexter a nod as she had met the two around the school last term…twins. That could be fun yeah? Taking a few steps forward Puck glanced around at everyone that was there and made sure to give everyone that she knew at least a smile, a nod, or even a little wave….who was going to be extremely friendly this term? THIS GIRL.

“Hey Aegis,” she added, as she came up closer toward him and well…some of her other friends? Accountancies? “Hey Marigold,” she grinned as she continued to look around at the mismatched group almost searching for people she knew…and of course she gave Bart a nod. “Hello Mr. Kitridge,” Puck grinned at the librarian…sure she’d spent time in the library this term but she still hadn’t really chatted wit the librarian…no time really with the prefecting and the OWLing and the trying desperately to avoid studying with well…whatever means necessary.

Her bag was beside her and she was at Hogsmeade on time at exactly 8 AM. This was quite the shocker, considering that she'd been waking up at no earlier than noon every single day. Lazy days were just about what Abbi's summer had consisted of as of now and whilst she felt half attached to that; she was thrilled to be doing something a bit more adventurous other than making a mess of the kitchen. That had been another thing she'd been up to: cooking... and well her skills had increased by a large margin to say the least.

After a quick peek at her bucket list, the sixteen year old tucked it away and walked towards the crowds of people. The list was around ninety percent empty which was a disappointment to Abbi, not that she hadn't done 'whoah' things cause she had but she still felt that she had to get into more action during this trip. Surely there'd be a few things she could tick off; there had to be. Like how could there not?

Action, to begin with that then. "Hey'all!" She flashed a smile that went wider at the sight of specific faces such as Aegis' and maybe, just maybe, at Bart's as well.

This trip was going to be hella rad, she could tell.

He wanted to inquire about how her summer had been so far, but was cut short by the arrival of some others. He didn’t actually recognize the next two, but gave them a small smile all the same. You know, it was weird how insanely free he felt after having finished up his OWLs. He did recognize the next Gryffindor though, and gave his doormmate a big grin. ”Hiya, Benny!”

You know, stress free Zander was the best Zander.

That much was evident as he keeeeept smiling at all the others, even people he didn’t really know all too well. But he DID make sure to send waves towards Adi and AJ. And then ETHAN Mordaunt came over and he received a big ol’ smile as well. ”Hey Ethan! D’you know if Simon’s coming on the trip?”

And that glitter girl, Norah, came by too. She got a GRIN as well. Merlin, what was going on?! Zander had been SO wrong. He thought he’d never smile again after Fifth Year. But ahem. Dramatics. ”Hi, Marigold.” Yes, even SHE got a goofy grin, no trace of that ahem awkwardness from the incident arising on his cheeks. Thank Merlin.

Brynn wasn't sure what that vague anxious feeling was at the pit of her stomach was about as she approached the crowd of students, but she took a deep breath to try to push it away. She had been looking forward to it earlier and thought it would be fun, but now that it was here, her mind drifted to other things.

Stepping into an empty space in the group, brown eyes scanned the mostly familiar faces for someone she knew well. Oh, hey.. there was Bart standing up ahead not far from her. He got a wave and a "Hey Bart!" She glanced to her side, soon smiling to see a familiar Ravenclaw. "Josie.. hi!" She didn't know she was coming too. Brynn gave anyone else looking her way a friendly smile and general 'hello' too.

Biting her lip, she shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she waited for it to be time to leave. They were going by portkey, right? She had never used one of those, though she knew enough about them. Facing forward, her brown eyes caught the gaze of the librarian. "Hi Mr. Kitridge," she said a little quieter, giving him a small smile. "And Professor.." she added to Prof Thompson standing there as well. Her mom taught her to be polite, so yeah.. manners.

At least seemingly much better than he had been for his own year, especially after everything that had happened.

At least until he spotted certain arrivals.

Looking at the group he gave nods to most, "Sup" He nodded towards Sophie, skipping Zander, and then to Benny. Seeing Chloe he made his way toward her to stand and wait. Was Brynny around? Glancing he didn't see her yet either. He hoped Cutty was coming as well. That could make things even more interesting.

Finally seeing the professor and librarian he gave them nods, "Sup Professor, Mr. Kitridge."

But then Angel was there and standing beside him and he found himself relaxing. "Hi Angel," he greeted his girlfriend with a smile. He took advantage of their closeness to discretely take hold of her hand between them. They hadn't managed to get together between the train and today and he'd have to admit he missed her.

More like the boy strutted his way to the meeting point, one hand holding onto the strap of his backpack as he went. Sure, this field trip included going to freaking SCOTLAND, which was right near Hogwarts anyways, and it included being surrounded by tiny, probably annoying, kids but you know what? Dude felt GOOOOOOOD, not to mention dead manly. And he kinda had a really good feeling about this.

Kinda. They might not be going to Hogwarts but the last field trip they went on wasn't exactly a walk in the park.

Smirking slightly at certain memories, the seventeen year old approached the group. "'Sup, Professor. Hey, Mr Kitridge." Nods to the two of them because he had MANNERS.

Well well well. Would you look at the turnout? Zander, Dante, Adi, Ethan, Bart, Gold, Cinna and Puck all got 'sup nods from the Slytherin, along with "'Sup, guys!" Not a bad turnout.

And Abbi got a wink for the lulz.

And where was that girlfriend of his? HMMM?

Ha. She’d gotten noticed. Of course. Brooklyn would have been disappointed had everyone ignored her, even if she was still summarily ignoring certain people. She’d heard Adi greet her, of course, but she turned her attention to others. Namely, Dante and Ethan, giving her fellow nearly-third-year a wave back, although she hadn’t forgotten what had happened way back at the beginning of first year. She could deign to greet him. He was a fellow snake after all.

Just as she’d glanced over to see Benny give her a nod, returning it with a tiny one of her own just to show she’d seen it. She wasn’t ignoring him after all. Just certain people she was with, so they didn’t get any ideas.

She’d sent Ethan a grin though, as he’d complimented her. See? Some people knew how to treat her. “Thanks!,” she replied. It was better than having her hair down to get all icky and tangled, even if she’d had to ask her mama to do it for her. Simple braids were easy, but this one was harder just because it went all around her head.

But she’d turned back to the adults as the librarian had spoken to her. “A couple times,” she replied. She hadn’t brought a tent though, which probably meant she’d have to share. Hopefully she’d get to pick who she had to share with, anyway. She wasn’t staying in a tent with certain people.

"Hey Mr Kitridge Sir." Angel hadn't seen him for ages. "How you doing?" Angel wondered if they could call them by there first name since they weren't at school. "Who's looking after the Library?" Angel was sure that someone had to look after all the books they were rare books and dangerous books that no one should touch right.

Angel then suddenly saw Zander, who seemed distracted and wanted to get away from talking to her, which was strange and weird right, then she suddenly remembered about things that had happened. "Zander you okay?" Angel now had to think about how to handle this.

Angel then smiled at Benny as he took hold of her hand and she smiled at him. "Hey Benny, I missed you." Angel wanted this trip to get started already, Benny could tell her everything that was going on and she could speak to Adi about a few things right, and she had both her sisters around which was going to be amazing and great.

Angel then turned to the Professor and smiled, she had been wanting to ask this since she had gotten here but she had forgotten. "So Professors, if we find this loch ness monster, do we get to name him?" Angel totally had the best name for a Loch Ness Monster..

It was field trip time and a certain young Slytherin was more then ready. However she had been running a bit late this morning but not due to not being ready or anything of the sort as she had her things triple checked and packed the night before. Today Hady was running late on the account of having to say goodbye to her best friend back home as the boy was going away for the rest of the summer and wouldn't be there when she returned from the summer trip.

After several long minutes and a couple of hugs later she finally left for Hogsmeade station with her father by side-along apparition. Upon arrival there she was told to behave and then sent on her way. With a wave to her father Hady made her way over to where everyone had seemed to gather giving either a wave, a small smile or a slight nod to all her friends that she passed.

"Hello Professor, hello Mr. Kitridge", She greeted warmly giving both of them a smile as she pushed the strap of her shoulder bag higher onto her shoulder. Moving off a little to the side she was able to be slightly on her own but yet at the same time around everyone else as she scanned the area for a certain lion she knew to be going on the trip as well. This was going to be an good week.

Yup, she was definitely overexcited especially as MORE AND MORE students filtered in to the train station to wait for further instructions. But just one thing; where was HAYLEY? The girl had said she was coming and even though Chloe was more than thrilled being around familiar dormmates such as Puck, it wasn't the same. Big smiles though for Puck and Bart and Brynn too.

But then she twirled around when the Librarian addressed her.


Swimwear? What? With a completely innocent look at the librarian, the upcoming sixth year smiled, "Well I figured I'd save space and underwear works the same." Yup. That's how she rolled.

The astronomer was NOT late. Nor was he early. He had arrived precisely when he meant to . In style.

Although he really ought to have opted to change into his wetsuit rather than wear it under his freshly pressed baby blue suit. But in the, ahem, adventures of the morning it had just seemed like the best solution. However constricting it was at the moment. Having left their home with nothing but knots in his stomach, Airey had hoped that presence of students would put his anxieties at ease...but it only seemed to intensify as he looked upon each of their faces. Those youthful and highly impressionable faces.

Shaking his head and rubbing the back of his neck, the Astronomy professor reached into his backpack for a packet of space ice cream - mint chocolate chip, for anyone who cared to know - and quickly tore into it. He had been working with muggle children all summer at the National Space Centre, with a few wizarding youths thrown into the mix, and may have splurged a bit on some of the goods in the gift shop. Just a bit. Ahem.

Allowing the freeze dried deliciousness to melt in his mouth, he took one last deep breath. "Hello hello!" he roared in greeting. "Stellar day for a bit of a swim, isn't it?" Saluting students as he went, the astronomer went to stand near Leobald and Javy. "Good day, gentlemen," he saluted, the knots tightening in his stomach again. A field trip without Medea....and her alone in their home wishing to extend their family tree even further. Sweet solstice what was he going to come home to?! "Travel in three groups, is it? Portkey for the each of us?"

This was going to help his stomach soooooooooooooo much.

Hayden was very excited. This field trip sounded very interesting and very exciting. She didn't know all the details but she did have a vague idea of what it would involve. Greatness, that's what. And excitement. And friends! She'd wanted to get to the station as early as possible and had to keep reminding herself all morning how irrational that was. She didn't want to get there before everybody else, because then she'd have to wait a long time and be lonely and it would not be fun at all. But she had arrived, and there were already a few people there and it would be FUN!

Immediately, Hayden walked toward the small group that had gathered. She recognized almost all of them, and was excited to see a handful. She grinned. "Hey Adi, hey Margo," she said to the two hufflepuffs standing near her. She was excited to spend time with them. Then she turned to her dormmate.

"Hi Norah!" She almost started bouncing but stopped herself. There were other ways to show her excitement. Like smiling, which she seemed unable to stop doing. "Are you excited?" Hayden was excited, could Norah tell?

Was he late yet?

No. Well, maybe. BUT... he wasn't terribly late. There were still people here, LOTS of people here, so he took that to mean they hadn't left without him just yet. Win!

Hitching his backpack up higher on his back, Zeke speed-walked a portion of the platform to immerse himself in the crowd. Lots of people, but WHERE were HIS people? Hhhmmm? Zeke looked to the left, to the right, turned and looked again.... this was hard. Someone ought to find him. In the mean time, he pulled out his compass from his jeans pocket and inspect it before returning it. He had everything he needed, he was sure of it. Packed his board shorts, clothes, enough underwear to last him a lifetime. Snacks, and other necessities too.

So... when was this partyadventure starting?

Finally the summer field trip! Wohooo!

Hugo was excited because it was going to be more fun than staying at home doing nuthing. Sooo....where was Dante? Because he had to be here or else he was going to feel alone. The slytherin greeted the professors in general, "Hey professors!" Flamsteed was going. Cool.

Oh and look who was here. Marigold. She looked...pretty nice. Yeah. He waved at her and smiled. Did she remembered him? Hopefully or he was going to feel embarrassed, again. Anyways, Hugo finally spotted Dante. "Dante! What's up? Excited?" and he noticed there was a girl with him. "Hello" said to her. She was from his house but has never spoken to her.
