More and more people she knew were showing up and forming groups everyone talking over everyone else. Still Hady didn't move from her spot as her eyes took in those around her. That was until...

Right there! The brunette smirked as she spotted her bestie arrive. Assuming he hadn't seen her yet since he didn't walk over or call out to her she turned and walked the other way to end up behind him. Without a sound she did what she normally did and stood behind him setting her hands over Zeke's eyes. Surely he'd know it was her, this was her thing...or their uh thing maybe?

Meh whatever it was it was done in silence as she waited for the lion to figure out it was her. Really who else could it be?

Eden kissed her parents' cheeks and bade them goodbye before making her way towards the train. This would be...very fun. And Eden's last chance to go on a school trip since...well, next term was her last.

Eesh. It made her sad to think about.

Luckily for her, she was soon wiped clean of ALL negative thoughts because she spotted COLE--her Coleybean! Eden ran towards him, tugging her backpack tighter on her shoulders so it wouldn't flop off--and she threw her arms around him. "COLE!" she said, and was about to kiss him--right on the lips--when she realized.

There was the other one.

And then she REALLY realized--she was hugging on Dexter.

Eden's cheeks turned bright red as she let go of Dexter and then eyed Cole--and then EYED Dexter--"I'm so glad I didn't--well--you two look more alike when you're together--Merlin--" she was very thankful for her...keen eyesight. O_____O WHY DID THEY LOOK SO ALIKE TODAY? THIS WAS TERRIBLE. WHAT IF SHE HAD KISSED DEXTER. TERRIBLE. Especially after the whole...Dexter/Phe thing...

She saw LOTS of familiar faces--but she'd tell them all hi later. She was too...distracted right now. O_o

Greetings to Mr Kitridge and Professor Thompson happened, of course. Perhaps not to Flamsteed as Oleander seemed to miss the man... standing right beside him. Odd.

Why was he coming again? He actually couldn't remember, but he supposed there was no harm in coming. Hemlock got to stay home, however, as he could manage to lose him in the trip, and no one wanted that to happen, otherwise his sister's boyfriend will simply have to get him a new snake.

It was as he was playing the waiting game that things went dark. Legit, dark. Black, dark. But it was warm, and very very familiar. He grinned. This was a game he would never tire of... and it was a game he could play at, just a little bit. Heh.

"Ashley?" he guessed, smirking. "Caroline?... Jessica?" he rattled off a couple of other names.

But no. Nooooooooo. It could only be one person.

"Hady," he finally said, taking her hands from his eyes and pulling her into a hug as he turned to face her. Hi Lady Snake.

Cole kicked at Dexter a mix of both playful and annoyed. "You're hilarious," he said, righting himself. He tried not to roll his eyes, as he bent over to repack the few things that had fallen out of his bag. It was then that he heard Eden call his name, but he took a moment to closed his bag securely before turning to her.

So when he finally did.... she was hugging all over Dexter. He blinked a little bit as it registered what was about to.. or at least could have.. happened. It took him a second to snap out of it, once Eden began to babble and he moved around Dexter to stand near her.

"Honestly," he said, nudging Dexter out of the way, "I'm surprised that it hadn't happened earlier." But thank merlin she hadn't kissed him. He was sure Dexter would have been insufferable about it. Maybe, he thought, he and Eden needed to revive that codeword they'd joked about last year.

You know.. just in case Dexter got any ideas.

Austin stood around, watching as more and more students arrived. Nobody really seemed to notice him, which was fine. He wasn't in a mood to talk to anyone anyway. He was still upset that he had to travel to Hogsmeade on his own, on top of having to find his way home earlier that summer. He had with him a backpack that had been charmed with the undetectable extension charm. It was nice being a wizard, because he could fit everything for the trip in one bag. How could muggles do it? He learned, through a few books, that muggles actually had a limit on how much bags could carry, and some even had to take multiple bags with them on trips. Austin was happy to be a wizard.

Were they getting food soon? His trip over had made him hungry.

Bart kept his eyes moving looking around at all the students. So many people came out for this, didn't they all get enough of each other during the year? HA!

He just hoped he actually saw some cool things as well as maybe finding some new ingredients for his potion collection. That would be great. Looking over his shoulder he saw Emmy coming, well if Emmy was there he knew his girl would be right behind.

Though maybe you partied too much at the reception and were sleeping on the train. " He was glad he didn't have to make the effort to go back through the train looking for her. Though he would have if needed. "Think we'll be getting started soon?" They were traveling by portkey, right?

They had now reached the halfway summer break mark. Time had flown by quickly mainly because he so far had an eventful summer filled with visits to friends and family and relaxation on his balcony in sun.

After Zander he was genuinely happy to see how Sophie Brown made her way over to them. Smiling broadly at her he said "Good morning Sophie, have you got everything packed for a fun week?"



Leo couldn’t help but not grin at the girl that was hopping around on the spot in excitement and anticipation for the trip. "Good morning Chole, did you remember to bring along swimwear?" he wondered with a smile pursing his lips. To where they were going there would be definitely be swimming time.



Next to turn up on the station was Benny Artreyu. Flashing the boy a wide beam as he approached Leo asked. "Good morning Benny. Are you excited for the trip?"



Behind the back of the senior Gryffindor, a much younger Slytherin made his presence known. "Good morning Dante. Have you visited a loch before this trip?" It was good Leo reasoned to know what kind of knowledge the students had going into the trip, and when they eventually got there.



Waving to the badger prefect Leo called over with a cheery smile. "Good morning Adi! Are you looking forward to the trip?"



The blond girl that positioned herself near her and Javy didn’t go unnoticed. Turning his attention to her Leo said "Good morning Brooklyn. Have you got any experience of sleeping in tents before this field trip?"



"Ethan," Leo nodded to the senior snake boy as he joined the growing group on the station platform. There were around 50 students signed up for this trip. Leo hoped that everyone would make it but it was never certain.



Grinning back at the girl who he thought was called Norah Leo called over. "Are you excited for the trip? Not scared of bugs and such critters I hope?" Because at a loch there was bound to be some bugs and flies if not mosquitoes.



"Good morning Bart." Leo said in greeting to the senior boy. "Did you remember to pack your swimwear and wand?" Two important objects that they probably wouldn't survive the field trip without. It was no telling what might happen so Leo hoped everyone had packed after checklist.



"Good morning Heather!" Leo greeted the lioness as she joined them all clad in a nice white and clean shirt. He doubted that the shirt would be white by the end of the week. “Are you ready and excited for the trip?"



Leo wasn't sure if he was comfortable being called a fella by a student but he chose to let it glide past. It was just a too good a morning for him to get irritated. Waving to the senior boy he said "Good morning Dexter! Got everything packed for the trip?"

Looking at the librarian a little funny for a moment, it was just an odd question to ask someone, but he found it humorous as well. "Yes sir, of course I brought my swimwear. Wouldn't want to be the only one without any." He might have snickered a bit, but he didn't, he just kept a straight face, "I would never leave home without my wand, I'll be ready to use it if needed. You can count on me." Giving the man a bit of a salute to show he was ready to get to their adventure.

He noticed Aegis a bit away and gave him a nod back. Funny how things change as you get older. He use to call Aegis a great friend, but something lately was off. Bart wasn't trusting of him as much anymore, so he didn't just go over. No the nod was fine.

As his eyes scanned the area, he couldn't help but remember what Cutty had come to him about with Sophie. His brain went to that, but was distracted seeing Zander make some eye contact, his smirk was on his face. "Sup Zander, having a good summer so far." See people he could be nice. He didn't ask jokingly if he had any plans to get anyone eaten. So he was in his eyes being nice.

Hearing his name he turned and smile, there were only a slim few people that got a Bart real smile and his long time best friend was one of them. "Sup Brynny, you ready to go on this adventure." At least that's what everyone was calling it. He was hoping something exciting would happen, but he wouldn't get his hopes up either. He was here to find something epic and potion ingredients that was about it.

"Doing anything cool this summer, well other then this?" He didn't know why but all the people made him wish Nemo was around. He wasn't big on the crowds, this term he really felt he liked keeping to himself more so this was just enough for him to deal with.

Benny recognized Brooklyn, the Slytherin girl who had used him as protection from the flood last term. He sent a simple nod her way though she seemed detached from most other than the staffers. Then Bart came around and he returned the other boy's own nod before the girl he had danced with at the ball joined the group. "Hey," he returned her greeting a tad awkwardly.

Hearing Benny's greeting the sixteen year old looked his way, "Hows your summer so far?" He could be social when he wanted to be, heck he was even in a pretty good mood. He was sure Cossy wasn't coming on this trip so he would be fully parent free and that hadn't been since his mother married his potion professor a year and a half ago.

Yup, she was definitely overexcited especially as MORE AND MORE students filtered in to the train station to wait for further instructions. But just one thing; where was HAYLEY? The girl had said she was coming and even though Chloe was more than thrilled being around familiar dormmates such as Puck, it wasn't the same. Big smiles though for Puck and Bart and Brynn too.

But then she twirled around when the Librarian addressed her.

Well she seemed excited now didn't she? "You ready for the trip I see." Seemed like most of them were at least. Seeing Flamsteed show up Bart assumed it was almost time to go, which was fine by him it was getting a bit crowded here.

Marigold was super happy that she got a SMILE from ZANDER, who she found only smiled at Sophie Brown. But then again, who didn't smile at Sophie Brown? "Good summer, Zander?" she asked lightly. She was super excited to be around him and Sophie Brown. They had good energy.

…portkeys now? She stayed in her position. Surely Norah, Sophie Brown, and Zander…oh, they might be going together. She retreated to find two other lonely souls.

Great. Now Austin had gained the attention of an older student. He guessed it could be worse. The boy could be a professor. Being a fellow student was soo bad. But still, he wished he didn't have to talk to anyone. He was still peeved at his dad for forgetting about the trip.

Austin did the infamous 'sup' nod back at the older boy. "Hopefully. I'm ready to get food or something. I wasn't able to eat before getting here." Mainly because he was so worried about being left behind. Since he wasn't dropped off by his dad, he didn't know if he had enough time to get here. It seemed, though, that when he arrived he had made it early, and was here before many of his fellow students. So that was something at least.

He felt kind of bad. The fourth year didn't want to come off as cranky. But he not only didn't eat, but he had to walk such a long way to get here. Hopefully this trip was going to be a lot better.

Kace was here for the trip, of course he was I mean why wouldn't he be? He scanned the crowd and he saw Emmy, Cinna and Bart in a group. Wait a minute? Bart was going on the trip? Interesting! He grinned and knew Cinna was happy. He smiled but Emmy didn't notice him yet but he found Puck right next to him. Talk about luck right?

He was gonna be lazy and just go over to Puck. I mean he needed a portkey buddy after all. It is was Flamsteed required. "Hey buddy.." he nudged Puck. He had his suitcase all put away and eagerly awaited this trip. He couldn't wait to sight see.

"Yep, you betcha, sir," Dexter replied, all smiles as he hefted up his bag again and shook it in the air, causing all the things inside its undetectably extended confines to audibly tumble around inside. "Pretty sure I remembered it all." Aaaaaand if he hadn't, Cole certainly would have, so Dexter could just go on the rob and nick or get someone to duplicate some of HIS stuff for him.

Oh hey, there was that Prefect girl he'd spoken to a few times. She got a nod of greeting and a dashing smile in return.



Hilarious. He was, wasn't he? Dexter merely waggled his eyebrows in response before pushing himself back up to his feet, his short rest brought to an end by his desire to stop being a target for Cole's kicking feet. "I do try."

WOAHEDEN. Next thing Dexter even knew, he'd been TOTALLY BLINDSIDED by another Ravenclaw. Except he knew exactly why this was happening, and, after getting over the shock of being practically TACKLED, he found it pretty funny.

Not as funny as the look on Eden's face, though. When she realised she'd mixed them up. Bahahaha. Dexter burst into laughter but immediately tried to tone it down, to save any embarrassment, ahem.

"Well, actually, I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time," he said with a shrug, oh so casually as he went on grinning. "But it's something to be happy about, eh Cole? That you get mixed up with a stud like me?" Eh???? NUDGE NUDGE.

Puck grinned over to Zander, “How’d your family deal with Azalea?” She asked excitedly, “because if they didn’t accept her I would definitely let you hide her with me until term starts again!” She nodded, “you know only because her safety is obviously my prerogative.” She added a wink at the end so he knew she was joking…but was she? She loved Cruppies okay. She’d steal her if she could but she wouldn’t because that would just be sooooooo mean.

When she heard Grayson’s voice she sent him a nod in return. “Hey nameborrower” she grinned, “how’ve you been?” she asked happily and gave Chloe a nod. “Hey Chloe – I assume Hayley’s coming then?” She asked happily. “If you need to borrow anything I’m sure I’ve got something in here,” she grinned and patted the backpack that she had filled with camping supplies and swim gear. Really. She came prepared. First aid kit included.

“Hello Professor Flamsteed,” she grinned over to him and gave Zeke a grin as well…that kid could potentially rule the world. And then she heard Kace and grinned. “Hey buddy old pal…” she grinned at him.

Eden felt like....the biggest...dumbest...person...ever. DEAR GOD.

She stepped closer to Cole and gave HIM a hug now--and a kiss on the cheek as she smiled a little. Her cheeks were still flushed sooooo red. Cherry McGee. Laughing a little at Dexter, she snorted. "I...think I did it ONCE to you last year--but yeah--at least I don't do it all the TIME, okay?" she was hoping Cole was amused. And not mad. Or like..anything. Ahem.

The Irish girl was all smiley, though, as she reached down to grab Cole's hand, lacing her fingers with his...but subtly, so Dexter wouldn't start making fun of his twin or anything. "Oh, come off it, Dex--" she said with a roll of her eyes. "You two are pretty much identical--" she said, and she looked at COLE up and down--and then DEXTER up and down--and--

Whoah.

She was hit with...thoughts that she...well. She blushed and just tried to push them away. Nope, go away THOUGHTS. "How've you been?" she asked, mostly to Cole, but to Dexter, too. She wondered if Cole had..mentioned the Cairo trip to his brother, yet? Hmm. She wanted to ask him but she ALSO didn't wanna' cause brotherly friction, or pull Cole away from Dexter at all-so she just smiled and stuff. And stayed close to Cole. And tried her best to include Dexter in her range go eyesight--and her vocal range--

Maybe she was over thinking this. She was probably over thinking this. But she was a Ravenclaw. It happened. "It's nice to see you, Dexter," she said cheerily.

Penelope had checked and double checked to make sure that she had everything on the list and everything else that she wanted to bring before leaving home. She still had that feeling that she might have forgotten something, but she knew that she had everything on the list and a few books, her sketchbook, pencils, a notebook and quills, snacks, and an emergency antiallergen potion. That should be everything. After saying goodbye to her family, Penelope approached the area where everyone was meeting for the field trip.

"Hello, Mr. Kitridge!" Penelope smiled at the librarian/head of house. Flamsteed was here. Penelope went over to where the astronomy professor was. "Hello, Professor Flamsteed!" If each professor had a portkey, she wanted to go with Mr. Kitridge. She felt safe around the Ravenclaw head of house. Penelope didn't really know Professor Thompson, and she was not going to take a portkey with Professor Flamsteed ever again if she could help it. With her history of getting hurt around Flamsteed, she would probably ending up getting sick or hitting her head on something. Better to stick close to Mr. Kitridge. She was just going to stay close to the librarian and read for now.

Amur had approached the train station with a great deal of reservation and a lot of nervous butterflies. Her backpack was hitched on her shoulders, and both her hands clasped at the left shoulder-strap as she tentatively stepped up onto the platform. Going to school with all these people was one thing, going on a summer adventure was quite a different thing. Quite different. Somehow. Even if she wasn't entirely sure yet.

She was sure she'd figure it out, starting very very soon.

One thing that wasn't different however, was the constant of Professor Flamsteed. He was still as strange as ever, and it brought a slight smile to her lips. One thing she could count on. She had a quick glance around, but didn't see Pebbles and so she reasoned he must have stowed her in a zipper or pocket somewhere on that suit. He was, after all, a wizard. Storing things was a wizard and witches forte.

The second thing she could count on, was that there were faces she recognized. Zeke, Hady, Puck and Zander, among Mr. Post-it-Note-Nose and a few others she recognized but couldn't quick place the names of. She gave those she locked eyes with a nod or slight wave, while still maintaining the clutch on her bag as she slowly and carefully made a b-line for Zander. Once there, she sidled up to the Prefect's empty side and took to eyeing the other Professors that were gathered.

After a moment, she could contain it no longer. Leaning over slightly, she whispered out of the side of her mouth to the Prefect and his arm-linked-second-half. "Zander, did you ask them to present some legitimate ID yet?"

Because really, how did any of them know that these men weren't dark wizards looking to cause a bit of trouble. Had anyone checked? Amur peered from left to right and forward again, letting out a huff. Probably not. But then no one seemed overtly concerned, and someone would have noticed something, right?

Right. There were Prefects here. That was their job. She nodded to herself and looked up at her friend. No pressure Mr. Adair, but did you check for ID?

Was it that obvious? Okay probably considering she was ALL smiles and jitters. "Do you have to ask, Bartholomew? We was born ready!" And the fact that she got a WEEK without her brothers was more than enough motivation though she did feel slightly bad for their parents.



"She's signed up to go," Chloe said with a nod to her prefect / dormmate but, "... though I hope she gets here soon or we'll be departing without her." The ginger confessed with a frown.



And there was their fearless Chaperone; her head of house. Swimming? Were they SWIMMING to get where they were going?

Or not. Considering travel in groups of three. Portkey. But still no Hayley. Frown


Hearing a chuckle from behind though and a comment, well Chloe knew who it was without even turning around.

But she did turn around only because her persuasion would be easier after her usual exclamation. "Ollllllie floweeeeer!" she grinned. Yes he was a flower now. "You're coming in my group!" And he had no say in that matter.

Hady could almost feel the grin playing across her friends face as she stood behind him covering his eyes. Some may have found this childish but not her and it never seemed to bother Zeke either, in fact she had a small feeling that he enjoyed teasing her just a little during this game.

As he began guessing random names which he normally did she realized right away he was sticking to girls names this time. That was a plus in itself really seeing as she was a girl! However the very first name he spoke was Ashley which she knew to be his sister...whom wasn't here.

Clearly her buddy already knew who it was and was simply messing around but it was still hard not to laugh as he guessed a few more names. It didn't take very long before his hands were a top hers removing them from his eyes.

Before she could even let her hands drop and the brown haired boy standing before her had even turned all the way around her name was spoken and she was caught up in a hug. This never got old! Hady grinned brightly at Zeke hugging him back somewhat more tightly then normal but it only lasted several moments before she pulled back, a grin still on her face. "Heyyy! How has your summer been so far?" She questioned looking up at him still...dang it she really needed to grow some time soon! Hmm? Hmm? Come on Lion spill everything!

It might have not been all that long since she'd seen him last but she wanted to know everything she'd missed!

Oh. Lovely. Brooke was here too. Awesome.

Maggie just stared at her for a moment before looking back at Dante. Mhm. Yes. She was ready. Ish. Not really. So she shrugged. And eventually let go of his arm after giving it another squish. "I don't knooooow." She frowned, eyes resting on Flamsteed for a moment when the professor arrived. All dressed up. And LOUD. "I hate swimming." Mhm. That was just loud enough for Dante to hear though.

And that other boy who'd just joined them. Hugo right? She'd seen him around. "Hellooo!" Maggie echoed, giving him a brief grin. Blue eyes flicking up to his hair, she considered it for a moment before looking around for something more interesting. Wrong. Sorry, Hugo.

OH LOOK OLEANDER! He got an excited wave and a grin too. HELLO!!

Eden looked sufficiently embarassed by something although Maggie couldn't quite tell what it was. Oh well. She didn't really care. It made her smirk slightly nonetheless. Maybe this trip wasn't going to be so bad after all. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

And Hady was here too. That was nice. Although she was currently with that Gryffindor boy she usually hung around with. He looked weird. Maybe Maggie should say something to the other girl some time. Eh. Maybe on this trip. She gave her a small smile for now though.

It was awesome seeing Hady again. Granted it really hadn't been long, but Summer's always seemed to drag a bit. Just a bit. Even as she pulled back, he'd have been happy to stand there and just hug it out, because the hug was just THAT good, but they'd have time for that later too.

Great because he could actually be with her... but dreadfully terrible because she would take him shopping for clothes that he'd outgrown, she'd fuss about his manners, take him to meet people he didn't care about and had him doing what she called 'light' homework as well. "At least I got to spend some time in London though, did all my shopping already."

But enough about him. Boring. "How about you? Been up to much?" She looked well, and even a little different. How though, he couldn't say. And... who was that girl (Lislchen) staring at them? And WHY was she staring at them?

Though she had pulled back from their hug Hady let a hand linger lightly on his arm as she looked at him, her other hand moving to tuck the green portion of her hair back behind her ear once again. All her attention was set on the young boy before her.

Different. That was always a complicated word when used for describing a holiday. Hopefully it hadn't been to bad for him. As he explained the meaning of his use of 'different' she smiled softly at him. "Well spending more time with your mum is totally a plus as it getting all your shopping done already." Hady replied nodding her head at that. It'd have been nice if she had been able to do that already.

Her summer though? It hadn't been to bad...not yet anyhow. What mattered was it was about to get a whole lot better.

"It's been alright. I've spent most of my days hanging with Jaxon...he's leaving for camp before we return from this trip and I'll already be back at school before he returns home." Yup some sad stuff there but it happens. At least they had the mirrors they could use to talk. She'd have to remember to thank Lux when the next term started for telling her about that.

Who was Zeke looking at? Hady turned her head slightly to see and spotted Maggie giving her a small smile in return. Turning back towards Zeke once more. "That's Maggie she's one of my dorm mates."

Seems like Mr Kitridge was in just as a great mood as Adi was. "I sure am! I know its going to be super fun.'' Can't you just feel all the excitement bouncing off him and his fellow students.

"Gosh! Did you really, Margo?'' Adi pretended to measure her height. "How could I not have seen it?'' Hehe. "You still have to catch up with me though.'' And he just had to laugh when she stuck out his tongue at him. He returned the favor. It was GREAT to be in the company of the little Puffer again. He surveyed Margo's bag. "Need help with anything?" You know, just in case her stuff was tooooo heavy. The boy raised an eyebrow. "He's crabby at you because your brother did not get his Hogwarts letter?'' he questioned. He remembered them talking family sometime but neither of them went into much details. "Your dad's loss is our gain,'' Adi said cheerfully in an effort to make his friend not dwell too much on her father's mood though he felt slightly annoyed with the man. How was it Margo's fault if her brother got no Hogwarts letter?

Woops. Looked like Adi had missed Zander out. He had been too occupied greeting Margo he supposed. "Yo, Zander dude!'' He hoped his friend was feeling better now even if it were a little bit. "Super cool Snake Grayson! Yo!'' Annnnd OF COURSE Brooklyn continued to ignore him. Did Adi feel bad? Not at all! He was amused as always with her attitude towards him. Also, there was someone else joining them... another Puffer. "Hello, Hayden.'' The older Puffer smiled brightly as his friend. "How's it going?''

Looky! More peoples! HIIIIIIIIII, Hady, Zeke, Puck and Kace!

"Doing alright, Abby? Not afraid of going on the hunt for the Loch Ness Monster, are you?" Adi joked. They shouldn't have any reason to be nervous about that, right? They were in the company of awesome staff members and not to mention responsible students like himself. Hehe. Speaking of awesome staff members though... here came Professor Suits! "Hiya, Professor!'' A smart salute for you, Mr Astronomer!

Abby smiled at Adi and said "Of course i am not afraid Adi, i am actually looking forward to the trip" Abby had read all about the legend of the loch ness monster

She was quite the optimist, considering the green and silver, or so he thought. It just didn't seem to fit with the types of people most Slytherin's were... not that he bought into the whole stereotype thing, cause he wasn't a stupid irrational Lion... right? Right? "I suppose, and there was ice cream," which was awesome, even if it wasn't cake, ice cream was still pretty good. "Might only get to go back to Diagon one last time before school though, I'll be home the rest of the time." Far away from everyone else he knew. Distance-wise at least. Being a wizard though, distance was nothing with floor and portkey - it wasn't always available though.

He was still enjoying her touch, but instead of letting her hand sit on his arm, he took it into his, wrapping his fingers around hers.

Jaxon... that muggle friend-brother of hers. "That's pretty cool, but sucks you won't see him again..." he knew how that felt, it was like he and Ashley were on different worlds now, almost. Avery too. "Have any plans for the rest of the summer though?" Positive thoughts, he'd give this a go.

Zeke looked away from the weird girl and back to Hady as she acknowledged her. Maggie. They were dorm mates. Huuuhhh. Go figure. He'd never noticed her. "Right, cool." Or something like that.

"Was it at least good ice cream?" Hady asked raising an eyebrow in question. Cause what good was ice cream if it wasn't at least your favorite flavor and toppings? None! "So you won't be doing anything else at all when you get back home? Have you made any friends there yet?" He had to have made some friends cause her bestie was epic no doubt about it.

When her moved her hand from his arm she was about to let it drop to her side assuming that's what he wanted. However before she could do that his fingers closed around hers making hee smile at him. So on pure instinct the small snakette closed her own fingers around thodd of her best friends.

"Yeah but it's okay we still have a way of speaking to one another." Always a good thing which kept her from being as sad about it as she'd normally have been. "Other then the weekend Quidditch camp my dad said I could go to and my birthday, nothing really. Maybe I'll take some more dance classes" she mussed out loud shrugging her shoulders .

Hady laughed quietly at Zeke's acknowledgement of Maggie finding it funny. Why had she been looking at them anyhow?

Cinna? Kace? Anyone else she knew? Yes it was perfectly fine that Bart was here with her but what about her other TWO friends but do boyfriends really count as a number of friends? Really Emmylou only had three friends that she was close too but she was closer to Kace and Cinna than she was Bart. Half the things she would tell Kace or Cinna she felt like Bart would laugh his butt off at her. Looking around some more the blonde beamed when she saw Kace's face. She walked up to him and hugged him. "Hey" She said looking up at him.

She shrugged. "Nothing really but I am really excited about this field trip!! You?" She asked Bart. She shook her head. "Nope, I was behind her trying to find you but then I lost her in a crowd of people." Stupid shortness. She really hated being just under five feet tall. It was a curse to her because she had to look up at everyone else and she always hated being in crowds because she knew that she would get lost. She would even be perfectly fine with being five feet tall.

Emmylou saw and HEARD Professor Flamsteed. Was it just her? She would bet that anyone could hear him from a mile away. It wasn't uncommon because he was loud and normally very excited about his job and he seemed to be very excited about this field trip but who wouldn't be, yeah? It was a field trip and to someone like Emmylou who had never been on a field trip before she was super, extra excited about all of this. She waved at Professor Flamsteed and Mr. Kitridge. "Hello." Emmylou smiled becuase she was so excited about seeing her friends that she forgot to say hello to them which was very rude of her.

Emmylou looked around to see if there was anyone else that she knew. People just kept showing up and she knew nearly all their faces but she wasn't friends with all of them...yet. She would like to be friends with all of the people here but the was really impossible to do throughout the whole summer because friendships need to start off slowly before they really even take off. The blonde kept looking around and saw a badger that she knew. No it wasn't Kace but Kace was already here so that really didn't matter all right now. Emmylou sent a wave over to Adi. "Hey Adi." She said smiling.

"HEY!" Emmylou smiled when she saw her best friend/sister/cousin, that would be Cinna "I lost you!" She said to her. "How did I lose you? My shortness? I'm blaming my shortness on this one." The blonde nodded at Cinna.
