It was almost exciting, almost. Were he a different man he'd have found it exciting. He nudged Airey lightly in the ribs before heading for the exit. They were coming, yes?

Wonder how long the excited feeling would last before he started missing his bed...

"Yoooooooooooooooooou," he hissed, finger pointing dramatically at the Charms professor. "I nearly DID because I was busy cleaning up your furballs in my office!"

With a dull OMPH that came with the wind being knocked out of him from the slap on the back, he side-eyed Maddox and felt like being a 5-year-old and protesting his further involvement that could result in more fur clinging to his suit, but decided against it. For now. He did have a fresh stash of lint rollers in his enchanted breast pocket ready at the slightest hint of trouble.

"Make it so," he said after Maddox, venturing a glance at the bald older chap. Pulling out his lint roller for safe keeping, he gave the room one last salute before following the group out.

And why was Maddox so touchy-feely with him today? Hmmmmmm? HMMMMM?!

The Entrance Hall wasn't far from here at all, of course, so they wouldn't be trekking all over the castle just yet. Toby was trying to work out whether or not that was a good result in his mind, and was so distracted by thinking about that and the ensuing chain of thought that it was a few moments before he realised that his legs weren't carrying him anywhere yet. Oops.

All at once, Toby blinked himself back to reality and quite literally sprang into action, bouncing off from the spot like a spring-loaded toy puppy before adopting a slightly more normal gait. He grinned at the guy they'd be working with as he passed him and headed out the door towards the Entrance Hall, already flipping through the pages of the notebook.

Honestly Ruby had stopped paying attention to the majority of what was going on now and she was more than willing to let someone else decide where she'd go. Good company counted for a lot. So did attention.

"Suuuuuure!" Probably they should hurry and catch up, right? She took his hand and led the way.
