Samantha was hoping that her necklace was to be found here. She couldn't bear to imagine her mother's reaction if she did misplace it. She aimed the crystal over the location on the map that reflected the Owlery and asked if her necklace was located there. When she had opened her eyes, Sam saw that the crystal was swinging in a circular motion.

Samantha placed the now folded map and crystal in her pocket as she took out her wand from the other. She pointed it at the ground and said, "Accio necklace!" Her beloved necklace flew into the air and Sam carefully caught it. She noticed it had dirt and droppings on it so she aimed her wand at the necklace in her hand and said, "Scourgify!" The necklace and her hand were both now clean.

She then preceded to return to the Divination classroom.

Envelope in hand, James practically ran up the stairs to the Owlery to find his owl, well really his mums but who was keeping track. Looking up he spotted the owl and waved his arm trying to get his attention. "Come ooooon Herman. I'll give you an owl treat!" He saw the owl look at him and the thing seemed to actually be contemplating whether he should come down or not. Ugh. "I'll give you two treats!" Yup that did it. He watched as the owl flew down and he made sure to grab two treats from the bag. "Was that so hard?" he asked as he held his hand out containing the treats.

She had seen James head up to the owlery as she entered the corridor down below, and followed him up into the tower with her own response to her mum's owl at breakfast. She laughed when she heard the words 'Come on Herman' "Well that's the first time I've ever been called that." she said as she appeared at the top of the stairwell. "And I don't much care for owl treats." she added and smiled as her owl flew over the moment she appeared.

James watched as the bird ate the treats out of his hand and turned around when he heard a familiar voice. "Didn't you know? That's your new nickname." He gave her a smile and felt a sharp pain in his finger as the owl bit him. "Really?" he said dropping the unfinished treats next to Herman and inspecting his fingers which had drawn blood. "Lovely." And OF COURSE her owl just flew down with no issues. Ugh. "I ask for my own owl and my dad says we have one so we don't need another...." He sucked on his finger that was bleeding.

He turned back to look at Zoe and smiled, "Were you following me?" He gave her a smirk and walked over and gave her a kiss.

She laughed and raised an eyebrow "Oh onto petnames?" she asked shaking her head and tied her note to her owl's leg. She winced when she saw the bitten finger. "Oh you need to uhh train him not to do that." Eck, those hurt, she remembered the first few months with Paola, she'd bite every chance she had just to see her reaction! "Awww, maybe I should get one for you for your birthday?" she asked with a grin. Whenever that was. Errr....she knew she should know that. Darn... She'll just pretend she did...right... She'd find out yep!

"Of course I was!" she said smirking "That's what girlfriend's do, right?" she moved closer and grinned before kissing him back.

James chuckled and tied the letter to his owl's leg, "Somehow I don't think Herman would be a good pet name for anything other than...well a pet..." He watched as the owl took off hopefully going back home but who knew with him. "He does it on purpose. I don't think he likes me much." He shrugged and looked at his finger again to make sure the bleeding stopped. "Well if you were going for this year it's passed already," he said with a laugh and grabbed her hand.

"Stalking their boyfriends? I think that'd be a bit creepy if all girlfriends did that." And would mean they were paranoid but that was a different issue. "Where are you heading to now?" He asked as he slipped his fingers in between hers.

She grinned and nodded in agreement at that. Herman she didn't care much for. She did wrinkle her nose though " Yeah, I definitely think you need an owl of your own, maybe we can find you one at Eeylops. Errr, end of term gift then?" she asked blinking innocently. She happily laced her fingers in his and laughed, "Okay well, I don't ever really do that. I promise. That would be a little creepy. No where planned" she replied shaking her head. "Just had to respond to mum's note this morning."

"Where are you heading now?" she asked with a smile before looking out the window as another owl flew past. It was nice out, maybe strolling outside?
