Kid either looked frightened or concerned and the Ravenclaw breathed out a heavy sigh in response. "Sorry. Shoulda just asked you politely" she stared at the child feeling ever so slightly bad for being such a grump. "I'm in a bit of a bad mood today." She didn't eat children or anything and she wasn't scary. In fact she was stuck with four flippin' nephews who particularly at Christmas time invaded the house with chocolate and noise and she couldn't get a word in edgeways. Hence why she used to go out with her friends a lot, something she really couldn't do here.

The sixteen-year-old whose accent was very much distinguishable from the majority of the Hogwarts population due to her working-class background and childhood growing up in the 'more common' areas of London couldn't help but notice how bloomin' polite he was. All this 'I'm very sorry' nonsense. These 'posh kids' drove her nuts and most of them weren't even that posh anyway! And then he bit his lip and she stared at him even more. "That's just your way of makin' me feel guilty, ain't it?" she attempted a smile, a joke almost. Just Layla wasn't very good at this cheerful rubbish.

She was.. apologizing to him? Thornton wasn't quite sure how to react, and gave a small, forced smile. "It's ok. I was in your way and wasn't thinking about others needing the bridge." Seeing as she wasn't moving past, though, Thornton eased off the railing. It was.. not terribly sturdy, he thought, and he didn't much like the idea of falling through. "I'm sorry you're having a bad day," he offered, shrugging, unsure why she was still speaking to him.

Was... was that a smile and a joke? Thornton really couldn't tell and was having difficulty figuring out the proper way to respond. Clearly one of the downsides to his early childhood was the abundant lack of peer interaction not mediated by adults. He never knew what to say.

He laughed uneasily, opting to guess that it was a joke. "No no. Not at all."

Abby had no idea why she had hid herself away in the dorm for so long not going anywhere around the castle and she really wanted to cry things had not gone to plan for her this term and she just wanted to shy away from the school and go home

Angel was just walking around when she suddenly saw her sister, she had been in a bad mood for a whilst. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Angel snapped at her sister. "EVERYTHING HAS GONE WRONG THIS TERM!" Angel was totally not in a friendly mood and she was blaming her sister for everything.

Abby stared at Angel and said "I don't know what it is that you are blaming me for, i just want to be left alone Angel" Abby was not in the mood for her sister blaming her for something that she didnt even know what it was

Angel just glared at Abby. "I'm blaming you for everything that's been going wrong." Angel was totally annoyed and if Abby wanted to be left alone, well tough she would stay here and annoy her. "I know a song that will get on your nerves, get on your nerves, get on your nerves. I know a song that will get on your nerves, get get get on your nerves."

Abby glared and said "Look blame me all you want Angel, i have got no idea what you are blaming me for, why do you think i have been hiding in my dorm for ages trying not to be seen i just don't want to be here anymore" Abby was wishing that she had not come to Hogwarts anymore

Angel just started at Abby, as she heard what her sister was saying. "Oh don't say that sis." Angel forgot about her anger and grabbed her sister into a huge bear hug. "Come on Sis don't say that... I might be mad with you but I still love you sis and I'm sure AJ loves you as well even If we are mad at you... you are my sister after all."

Abby started to cry and said "I know that whatever has got you and AJ mad and of course i still love you even though i do have no clue as to why your mad at me" Abby probably thought it was all the stuff at the start of term that was still going on, Abby had thought that was all past

Angel had no idea what she was going to do next. "I think that we should speak to your head of house, he's an awesome bloke and well he might be able to talk to you." Angel wanted to yell at her sister but well her sister looked heartbroken about something. "Though if this has anything to do with Ian I'll totally scream." Angel was really fed up with the whole Ian thing and was ready to jinx people.

Abby nodded and said "I think it is a good idea to talk to my head of house, and this has nothing to do with him, i haven't even thought about the loser in months i have had other things on my mind" It was true Abby had been thinking about other important things other than the loser that Angel had just mentioned and she hadn't seen Ian in ages she had heard rumours that he was still at Hogwarts and wanted to avoid him

Bianca peered over the edge, curious. She was certain it was high up but exactly how high? It clearly did not look safe or particularly stable. It was wood. How could it possibly hold up all the students? Then again, it was probably reinforced by magic. The Gryffindor dropped rocks down, hoping it wouldn't hit anyone. If it did, it had not been her dropping the rocks rather a random person wandering by. Yup.

Bianca dropped another pebble, expecting to hear a sound or see it. Nope. Nothing. How boring. Maybe water balloons would be better.

Angel was worried about her sister now seriously what was going on in her sister head. "Come on Sis, think about all the good things that you have done since you had come here." Angel wondered if she should go and get a Professor because her sister sounded heartbroken about something and she was scared.

Angel took out her hanky and handed it too her sister. "I haven't used it... so don't worry sis." Angel was wondering what else she could say to calm her sister down and to make her sister happy again.

Abby took the hanky from Angel and said "Thanks and i know i have just got to deal with things on my own and really i dont know what started this but i will try to cheer up just for you Angel" Abby had to get happy for certain reasons and she had to stop hiding in her dorm for ages

He had nothing to do. Sometimes he wondered how it was like to have friends instead of just one and being able to do fun things. But then again, he normally liked being alone. So why had he been thinking about those kind of things lately? It frustrated him because a part of him said that he didn't want to be alone anymore yet another part said that he liked it. Ugh he was slowly becoming an insecure teenager who thought about things. That was why he had gotten outside of the castle to clear his head.

As he walked over the wooden bridge with his hands in his pockets he stopped in the middle and walked to the edge. He placed his elbows on the wooden surface and looked at the distance. The sun was already setting and he knew they had dinner in about an hour from now. Mweeeh...what to do in that hour? And don't say homework because MWEH! He took out his phoenix wand and aimed it at the trees. He could always practise his aiming right? Who needed a dueling arena anyways? the trees were good enough.

He slashed his wand forward, mumbling the "stupefy" incantation as he aimed at the trees. He knew it wouldn't freeze them but at least he would see if they got hit by looking at the red light.

Ah..... The great outdoors. It was so nice to be outside. Cinna was bored and her boredom led her outside. She had no idea where she was going the lake maybe? The treehouse? She just headed out to the grounds.

She was just walking over the wooden bridge when she seen Bianca! Epppp. Her booboo. "B!" She called out as she ran across the bridge to where B was standing. She gave her a side hug when she met her. "Sup, B?" She let go of her and took a step back. Whoa. That was a long way down. They should throw something better than a pebble down there now.

Angel looked at her sister and smiled. "Come on sis... nothing is that bad, you really need to calm down and relax." Angel really wished AJ was here. "You know what AJ would say if she was here... you need to Man Up or everyone will think your crazy." Angel said truthfully.

Cosgrach was strolling down on the grounds absent-mindedly, thinking about the world like middle-aged men did. He was so deep in thought that it took him a moment a realise someone was stupefying - were they aiming at him?! He drew his wand too, and looked around in panic. Once his eyes settled on the boy, he narrowed his eyes. He put away his wand, though. He and Kevin weren't hostile anymore... or so he'd like to think.

"Something happened?" Why was he shooting spells around?

Although he had talent performing the stupefy spell, he still had to work on his aiming. He stupified another tree, the red light missing and it hit the ground below. He sighed to himself and aimed again when he heard a voice. An older voice that clearly wasn't from a student. He stopped for a moment to look behind him. "Just practising my aim at the trees, why?" was that forbidden? And did he look like he cared if it was or not? "You should try it, its fun!"

Turning back to aim below at the tree tops, Kevin pointed his wand but waited for a second and turned his head to look back. "I heard you got possessed by that book" news travels fast you know, especially in a school with gossiping teenagers. "Did you know what was happening? or were you just too weak to take control again?" eeeh, that probably came out rude but he didn't mean it. It was his way of talking.

Well, then. Cosgrach conveniently stepped to his side so that there would be no chance of being hit unless Kevin directly aimed at him. He also looked beyond the trees where Kevin was shooting to see if there was anyone. There wasn't, thankfully, so he shrugged in the end.

"I jus' thought you were maybe trying to specifically hit someone," he said casually, but made no motion to draw his own wand. His aim was perfect, thank you very much.

...yeah, that. His face hardened at the memory. "I did," he grunted, brown eyes on him, "I don't even remember anything about it." Did that answer his question about his strength? "How did you elude it?" As far as he knew, Kevin had been sane. HOW?

He thought that he was perhaps trying to hit someone!?

Kevin stopped using the stupefy spell and turned his head to the side where the Professor stood to look at him. With his free hand, he grabbed his chest as if clutching his heart and gasped extremely exaggerated. "I'm offended! i would never do that, what kind of person do you think i am! " he shook his head. "Nah , i'd rather attack head first" he grinned. "Its more exciting" he smiled TOO brightly , flashing teeth as he did so. Yep, something was defenitely wrong with that kid. But he didn't think so...

Looking at the Professor more intently, looking for any emotions or signs that could give away that he was hiding something and could remember what had happened. But he found none. "You don't? well you're boring...i mean THATS boring" ahem... Pocketing his wand back in his wrist holster, the third year turned around and leaned with his back against the wooden edge of the bridge and folded his arms.

At his next surprised question, Kevin cocked his head to the side. "Wow, there's a lot you don't know huh?... I MEAN...well , you probably know more than me cause you're super old " ARGH that was also not what he meant! "Ugh, you get what i mean right? ...this whole stupid being polite thing is so difficult!" he said more to himself than to him. "But just this once, i'll let you in on a secret because i KNOW how to elude that book" he nodded his head.

"Because".... he waited a few seconds to make his words have more of a dramatic effect and then continued. "I don't even like to read! i told you all that reading was not good, who is laughing now?!" he was bwahaha. "But really, there is NOTHING that can possess me!" yeah, he was THAT awesome.

When he had directed his question to the crystal back at the Courtyard, it had finally moved on the map in the direction of where Adi knew was the Wooden Bridge- his favourite place on the Grounds. Did Professor Cassie somehow know that? Hmmm.

Adi kept glancing down to the map. The Crystal was still pointed at the Bridge. The Hufflepuff slowly walked along it, looking for signs of his watch while occasionally checking the map. But he was positive the watch was somewhere around because the crystal never moved again.

Minutes after starting his search there at the bridge, he noticed something black sticking out at the base of the right side rail. Adi quickly bent and retrieved the object. It was indeed his Batman watch, the first watch he had ever gotten from his parents years ago.

Yay! He had been successful with the activity!

The warmer weather meant more time outdoors and given Maddie's tendency to stay cooped up in the library for ages, getting some fresh air couldn't hurt. And so the thirteen year old found herself on the wooden bridge. Her elbows resting on the railing as she looked off into the distance, a number of things running through her head. Because even outside of the library, her mind didn't seem to want to turn off. It was a blessing and a curse, really.

So after days of frustration and rambling, the fourteen year old Hhufflepuff felt calm. Because after making two trips to the ravenclaw tower in the middle of the night and coming back rambling - Noel had decided to deal with the problem with the only solution available; ignorance.

And you know what? When he saw a certain Maddison Cooper standing at the bridge, with her elbows resting on the railing - Noel went on ahead and joined her.

"Hello" he simply greeted, like he hadn't abruptly didn't end their last meeting.

Well THIS was unexpected. Maddie didn't bother turning to see who had joined her as she recognized the voice immediately. Noel Wallace. Confusing boy, he was. She was honestly surprised he was speaking to her given how their last conversation ended. At least now she could pick his brain.

"Noel." Finally glancing at him, she studied his face and expression. Neither were giving much away so she added, "Didn't think I'd be seeing you for a while."
