Default Boris the Bewildered

Near the hidden entrance to the prefect bathroom on the fifth floor stands a statue of a lost-looking wizard with his gloves on the wrong hands. This is Boris the Bewildered, a good meeting spot on this largely empty and musty-smelling floor.

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Still leaning against the statue, Kevin folded his arms over each other now that he had put away his book in his bag and shook his head. "Don't just try that method, do it...it's far easier besides, my ideas are always the best" he chuckled lightly at his own ego before he looked back at the Professor.

So...so she didn't approve of his sneak attack? Well, he could hardly blame her. If someone had done that to him they would be in the hospital wing for the rest of the year heh. And he had faced the consequences by sitting out his detention with the Headmistress but had he learned anything from it. Yes, to plan. And that was exactly why the thin fishing line was there a few steps away from her feet.

It was getting annoying though, because she just wouldn't get up , boo! But what she said next actually made his ears and cheeks blush a deep shade of red. She had enjoyed the fireworks? Getting awkward because the Gryffindor was not used to getting compliments, he shifted his body from left to right, trying to find a way to stand cool again. It failed though, as there was something about Potions that just made him look like any other kid who got excited about a subject they liked. He looked proud. "YES!" He said, i little bit too loudly but he did not care. "I made them myself in the potions lab last year, it took me nearly six hours and a few exploded in my face but it worked, awesome right?"

But there was something bothering him right now. She was ..nice to him and friendly and giving him compliments. And there he was, trying to lure her in to a trap and getting her to trip and fall down. Was he really that much of a bad person like most of the other students kept saying? He also recalled his talk with his Head of House on that he wanted to change for the better yet here he was. This was frustrating him more than waiting for her to walk over the line... Maybe...maybe he should just tell her what he was planning? But that would surely mean she was going to notify the Headmistress and truth to be told , he didn't want to get kicked out of school. But saying nothing wasn't an option either. AAARGH!

He'd go with the 'i honestly didn't know there was a trap there!' lie...maybe he'd trip himself to show that he wasn't *lying*. But , as long as she didn't move he was safe right? Getting out of his thought trance, the boy shook his head to keep his mind to the now and shrugged his shoulders. "I guess" he said after her explanation on why they didn't needed to go to the Headmistress. "But i'm pretty sure she doesn't like kids" yup. "Did you find a subject yet?" he asked.

Nessa nodded lightly as she thought over Kevin's words, then chuckled a little as he said he had the best ideas. "Well, I will certainly take that into consideration," she said with a grin. It sounded like a fun way to decide. Or at least see what it led to. Didn't mean she had to conduct a lesson on whatever the page landed on.

She did start flipping the pages, looking up slightly startled as he shouted his affirmation to her question about the fireworks. But she soon smiled widely as he let her know that he did in fact make them himself. "Well, that's wonderful, Kevin! I do love a good show and that they were. You did a great job with them and all of your hard work paid off in making some spectacular fireworks. Did you let Professor Culloden know how they turned out?" She was sure that Cosgrach would be interested to know. And she was rather pleased that Kevin had something that he was good at and could be really proud of it.

The Gryffindor appeared to be struggling with something inwardly but Nessa figured it was his worry about the Headmistress. Was he really that concerned? She tried smiling at him reassuringly. "Oh I'm sure she likes kids or she wouldn't be the Headmistress of a school." That made total sense to her at least. "I know she can seem a little tough sometimes, but that's because she just wants to make sure everyone is following the rules." Or else it would be overrun with chaos and mischief. She supposed somebody had to act as enforcer.

Hmm? She looked up at him curiously then down at the book to see what page it had landed on when she flipped it. Brown eyes scanning the page, she slowly smiled. "Why, yes.. I do think I found something that could be quite useful for a lesson.." She thought he might like it as well.
