The usual Ancient Runes classroom was not the same upon entering it. There was no desks or chairs, there was no blackboard or the usual baskets and boxes scattered around. Today, the classroom was an underwater seating area with a throne at the far end where professor Botros was seated. When you entered the room, you would feel your feet leave the floor and you'd start floating as if you were actually underwater (but you would be breathing normally as this is only an illusion).
There are some big rocks for you if you wish to hang-on to(sitting would be hard since there is no gravity), but otherwise feel free to roam around and explore the underwater castle-like classroom with the engravings on the walls, the beautifully colored seaweeds and the mysterious small alcoves.
ooc: - Class has officially started, you can still rp your character walking in, though. Just for this lesson.
- This is not the frist AR class, your character must've attended a few before this one. You may act accordingly.
- All SS & Hogwarts rules as well as my class rules apply here, please refresh yourself by rereading them.

There was two things the young Slytherin noticed as she reached the doorway to Ancient Runes. The first being there was no desks or chairs anywhere. The other was everyone was floating? Tilting her head slightly she entered the room and was instantly swept up off her feet and into the air/water!
Whoa! This was so awesome! Floating/swimming through the through the air she waved her hand at Professor Bo tros. "Hello Professor!" She chirped excitedly. Flailing her arms a bit Hady made her way towards one of the small alcoves grabbing onto it and peering inside.

The best thing about Runes...in Gabriel's honest opinion...was that it did not deal in plants OR animals. Usually.
Carving something was easy enough, right? He hadn't really done so before....but from a theory stand point, it'd been sorted. Papers had been written about the individual runes...Without having carved any of them, though, Gabe couldn't have rightfully said which was his favorite.
Probably Sowilo.

He'd seriously considered turning around INSTANTLY....and storming BACK to Ravenclaw House...but....Well...he caught sight of CB.
...and she was clinging to a rock....like her life depended on it.
Gabe knew coming to this school had been a bad idea. He'd known it'd be a disaster. He'd get....attached to people...and then feel compelled to do stupid stuff...like enter a room with zero gravity, apparently. Hadn't they just dealt with Astronomy craziness?! Wasn't this RUNES?!
Oh, no.........Captain Hook wasn't going to make another appearance, was he?...
No, no....that couldn't have been right. This seemed...more ocean? like?
Okay. Whatever.
He entered the classroom...clutching onto his bag, and tried making his way towards said CB. Gabe....needed to speak to her, anyway...

This was really, really uncomfortable.
She liked swimming, sure, but she liked being above the surface where this sort of zero gravity effect wasn't as apparent. She was a doggy paddler, not an olympian.
Despite all of this, she did kind of want to explore.... Everything looked so pretty. Her eyes roamed around the room finally, catching sight of Zander, her prefect, and Toby. All of the familiar faces that were facing away from her. Coral turned a little on her rock, clinging to the side of it, rather than behind it now.
Out of the corner of her eye she could see movement, people coming into the classroom. There were several she didn't know of and then one.... that she did.
Blushing furiously at the sight of Gabe, she turned her attention toward the front of the room once more. She hadn't exactly talked to him since the whole..... yeah...... And that only made her blush more.
............. Was he coming toward her?

Okay...it was bloody difficult to maneuver in this.....water? environment. Gabe's arms hurt from the over usage of muscles...just from trying to get somewhere...and the mild spazzing attack he'd had about halfway towards CB's rock...but eventually, he floated her way.
Honestly, he might not have tried at all...if it weren't for the crushing guilt he felt about........stuff.
It was also bloody difficult to grab hold of an object whilst clinging to ones school bag. Gabriel was finding out from first hand experience.

The Pied Piper had been having little luck getting the children of this place to follow him. Other than the one boy following his lead and going to the book, he'd mostly been ignored.
What powers did these children have to resist his flute?
Cloaked still in green, over, of course, the uniform it seemed required he wear, The Pied Piper had taken to following the children, instead. To classes.
He would need to learn more about this place and these children if he was going to be able to lead them away.
Perhaps to that forest on the edge of the grounds.
Flute in hand and hood up, he entered the room... immediately finding that his feet had left the ground. Well, then. This was certainly different. "Eep," he squeaked, softly, paddling his arms and legs in the air to try to propel himself over to a rock.
Grabbing on, he latched his foot in a groove to hold himself steady. Raising the flute ot his lips, he began to play a soft and low tune.
... uhhh... oh...kay?
Botros, with his trident and his golden conch in his lap, just listened happily to the boy who decided rightfully to entertain the king of this underwater castle. He smiled and nodded with the not-so-bad melodies coming off the flute. "Bravo bravo!" He clapped lightly, looking at everyone else and urging them to clap with him. "You'll certainly be rewarded. SEBASTIAN!" Where was his faithful, dedicated consular?

Stuttering kid, aww, he met dozens of those. It wasn't easy to face the king, he could understand the overwhelming feeling that was probably overcoming the poor kid. Botros waved at him as another student helped him get... settled.

Maybe this would actually end up being enjoyable.
One of his daughters was hiding in one of the alcoves, and yet again calling him 'professor'. What a funny blue-dressing girl she was. "I am glad you like it. It's home. Come sit here with me on this fine shell, dear." Princesses were allowed to sit next to his throne.
"SEBASTIAN!" he called out once again.

Oh the weird hat-wearing young man was an odd one, indeed. "We have everything we need here, but you must be of service to us first, for us to reward you with what you need." He smiled serenely at him and looked around for, "SEBASTIAN!" again. He handled those things, really. Where was he?

"I thank you, kid, though no need to call me with such a mundane title. I do want to reward you for your kindness and appreciation of the royal home, but I seem to have lost one of my good servants. SEBASTIAN!" He hollered, slowly losing his patience.

Really, this was Ancient Runes...he was probably Ægir or Rán...but considering the weirdness of the school he could have been something else entirely. "Hey Lux" she grinned at her friend and looked around the classroom. This illusion was so much fun, she continued to grin around at everyone.

What a marvelous way of showing your competence in our program for young seahorse knights!" He clapped lightly. "You'll be rewarded handsomely regardless. SEBASTIAN!" Where was that pathetic excuse of a friend, errgh.

He reached out to grab it and then for a rock. Very, very fun. This will be the best puppet show ever. He looked up to see who was operating the show, but he saw one who looked like he was in charge. Hi there! I'll bet Papa Gepetto would love to know how you operate so many puppets at one time.
Papa Gepetto? Botros smiled nervously at the boy. "I am sure your papa would love to come and be at the presence of the king--" i.e. himself. "--you may bring him over any time. He and his... puppets. I operate no shows, I am the king, but my Sebastian does, hold on a moment. SEBASTIAN!" That crab was SO getting cooked tonight!

While waiting for the class to start Lex watched some of her classmates that seemed to not be all that there in the head. Had they found the book too? Merlin this was getting to be an infestation. Wonder what antics this class would bring and if she'd actually stick around to see this time.
"Oh there you are, princess! Come join me and your sisters on those shells, the show will start in no time." Ignoring what crazy Ariel was saying, Botros tapped one of the empty shell seats with his trident. Almost all of his daughters were here, how wonderful, now if only Sebastian would show up already!

"It is King, but hello back to you, dear. So, what do you have for us today? Surely you're here to entertain the King and his daughters." He looked around for the supposedly director of this show. "SEBASTIAN!"

More kids were floating in but the precious crab was not yet here. Could it be he was abducted by the envious enemies of the King??? Oh Odin's mercy may fall upon his beloved crab if that was right. Botros suddenly blew into his golden conch, defeanening the entire room with the BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sound to get everyone's attention.
"EVERYONE, LISTEN UP." Most of them were kids and the age of his beloved daughters but they would do for a rescue mission. "The kingdom's dear friend and dedicated servant, Sebastian, seems to be MISSING. I REPEAT, HE IS MISSING." His voice was booming through the room with angry bubbles forming around his face. He waved them off with his hand. "ARRANGE YOURSELVES IN GROUPS AND START SEARCHING FOR HIM IN HERE IMMEDIATELY." He looked around at his daughters. "ALSO, SOME OF MY DAUGHTERS NEED THEIR HAIR BRUSHED." Specifically Ariel. "YOU WILL BE REWARDED FOR YOUR SERVICE, DO NOT LAG. BOTH JOBS ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT." Searching for Sebastian and tending to his daughters' hair.
He sat back on the throne with a very serious, distressed look on his face.

Let's make something clear. When Lex had called the Professor 'Trident', she'd only been JOKING! There was no need for him to go all out, she'd take it back if he liked so long as he stopped calling for Sebastian and...and....Princess? Show? Sisters? Sweet Merlin Lex didn't even want the one back home and he was giving her MOAR????? Nope. No. Alexa Cambridge had one sister and she was only a half sister that didn't count. No.
Quite awkwardly (thanks to the lack of gravity) Alexa made her way to one of the shells. If she'd learned one thing from the Captain Hook experience, it was that it was sometimes easier to go with it than to try convincing them they were possessed by a giggling book. It was just no use--
Hang on--delusional old man say what? Brushing their hair? Stop. The Gryffindor hardly brushed her own hair. It was a delicate balance of knots and Merlin knows what else and she didn't think she wanted anyone yanking away at her hair til it got smooth. "Maybe I can help lead the search for Sebastian." Lex offered, taking the seat directly next to him. This was hers. Yes. With any luck she could lead a group of them out here. The Kitchen was a brilliant place to be to wait out things when they went bad. "I saw him earlier...he might have gotten tied up in the reeds." Plainly, she didn't want to sit here while some idiot messed with her hair, thanks.

Had Botros been talking to Flailsteed? Because he was definitely NOT acting like himself. He looked around at the others, sure they find this weird right? Or was he the only one? But upon hearing that this guy named Sebastian was missing he looked up . Why did he care about some missing student? He was probably shoved in a harnas and couldn't get out.
Which reminded him that he wanted to do that sometimes. hehe.
"HOW do we start a search mission if we don't even know WHO Sebby is." he asked. Not to mention he didn't even know what he looked like. "And uh, these daughters, are they pretty?" trying not to grin was really difficult right now. whaaaat? He would still go to the rescue mission though.... hopefully they were gonna get attacked by a troll again!

The Piper had ceased his playing at the applause of the old man. A King, it seemed. The Piper's interest was piqued. And it seemed as if a good and loyal servant had gone missing.
If only his flute was working properly! But, just maybe...
Flute in hand, The Piped Piper kicked off from the wall and swam to the throne. With an exaggerated bow, he floated in front of the man.
"I am the Pied Piper of Hamlin," he said, straightening. "My flute is at your service to lure your lost servant out of hiding. All I shall require is an engraving or charm, from such a wizard as yourself, to enhance the flute's power."
The man did claim to be not only a king, but a wizard. Certainly there was a rune that would restore the flute so he could once again charm those who listened.

So he was coming toward her. That was... really not what she expected. Everything had ended sort of strange, and she'd stupidly felt hurt again afterwards. But next thing she knew, Gabe was next to her and greeting her. She opened up her mouth to reply to him, but she'd been cut as the professor started speaking.

She gave Gabe a bewildered look. What was she supposed to do? Aquata was not her name, but he was definitely looking and gesturing at her; she was no princess either. Although, she couldn't say she minded being called princess. But it was definitely strange coming from the professor...
Swallowing hard, she gave Gabe another helpless look and let go of the rock. She wasn't about to defy him, no way. So she really... had no choice.
AWFUL TIMING, PROFESSOR.
Doing her little awkward doggy paddle of a swim movement, she inched toward the shell. Upon reaching it however, the girl let out a major sigh of relief as she was not sitting like there was gravity and that was very appreciated. Maybe pretending to be this Aquata girl for the time being wouldn't be so bad.

Alright so apparently the professor wanted to be called King. Kace made a mental note of that. But as he was starting the lesson, he was missing h is Sebastian. Kace was guessing that was his red crab? He heard Alexa's answer and he saw him getting tangled in the reeds. Kace mentioned that, "Yeah I agree with Alexa and I saw Sebastian tangled up in the reeds over there.." he pointed. "He was the little red crab right?" he asked to make sure.

When Chance has entered the unusual room of the Ancient Runes, he noteiced something very..... odd. The usual classroom was indeed, not usual at all. Rocks stoof in clumped places where desked should have been. The Professor was holding a... was that a Tritan! And everyone had been holding onto rocks to steady themselves.
Chance's feet immediately left the ground after he stepped into the class. His expression rose with his feet. He looked around for anything to hold on to... until he noticed it was like he was floating. Like in water.
His grin escaped and he started moving about the classroom, unsteadily at first, then as he got into it, he began dancing around. Doing ballerina moves, because.... he was weightless of course!
Then the Professor started talking and Chance's movement stopped. Sebastian? Ariel? Wasnt that.... It had hit a memory. Some muggle story. What was it?? Cha nce cocked his head to the side and looked at the professor.
"Uh, ..." He started and then figured maybe this was a test. Were they supposed to be like that Muggle story? Oh! He could be that guy with the black hair! What was that King's name? Maybe he should call te Professor his name.
"I, King, will find your Sebastian for you!" Chance said, 'swimming' to the .... King. He held his chest out proudly. "I am Chance.... Um... " What was a good last name for a merman? "Chance Seaweed!" Chance said proudly. "I am at your service Pro... Your Heiness!" There! Bet he would get a good grade for that brilliant role playing!

It took Lux only a few seconds to work out that Professor Botros was not being himself, the same way that Professor Flamsteed hadn't been himself. Only difference was that Hook was a lot more terrifying.
The only problem was she wasn't sure HOW to sit on the shell because the lack of gravity kept her in the air. Biting her lip, she tried to think of something she could do with magic, but short of turning her legs into stones, she was fresh out of ideas. Since that was obviously a no go, she settled for swimming towards the seat and grabbing onto the edge of it before doing some quick manoeuvres to get herself in a sitting position while floating in the air OVER the shell. Using all of her strength and keeping her hands dug into the edge, she managed to pull herself down. Now all the had to do was keep holding on and she'd be seated.
Catching her breath, she kept hearing Professor Botros mention a Sebastian. Did this mean what she thought it meant? Was Botros King Triton?
OOOOOOH, she got to have her hair brushed. Looking around, she spotted Kace nearby. "Kace, come brush my hair. Please?" Probably was best to be polite about it. And where was Bay? She wanted her boyfriend to brush her hair too.

One of the two. She needed him to brush her hair? Right because she was one of the King's daughters. He sighed and smiled and replied, "Of course.." He floated close to her and saw her hair was a bit tangly. "Your hair does look a bit tangly.." he joked with her. "But nothing a nice hairbrush can fix.." he noticed the hairbrush was next to her and he took it. He held it and then softly began brushing her hair.

Jasmine was momentarily confused. Come sit next to your sisters? But.......oh no, not again. Another Professor had gone crazy and now they were in Little Mermaid-ville. Jasmine didn't know if she could take another class like Astronomy. Being a true Ravenclaw, she was a tad worried about her upcoming NEWTs. Unless they had exams for food fighting and underwater swimming, she was going to be in serious trouble.
With a sigh, Jasmine floated over to the princess shell and sat down. Amazingly she could sit without floating away. She figured that she would just go with the flow, as long a s things didn't get too crazy. Since about half the class was crazy too, what else could she do? Jasmine just sat sat back and waited to see what insanity would happen next.

Another weird professor? Well, here goes. Marigold floated aimlessly, not really trying to go anywhere, but made a few doggy paddles to go downwards. Searching for a…crab, wasn't it? "Yes, I shall look for Sebastian…" she said, just so she didn't get thrown into a Boo Box or whatever. She floated around some more. Was it too much to go get Tinkerbell/Pebbles and say that was the crab?

Still studying the alcoves, Justine rolled her eyes as she heard Professor Bostros, or rather, King Trident addressing the other students and calling out for Sebastian, no doubt meaning the little red crustacean with the funny accent from the beloved Muggle cartoon. Really, were all suffering from the strange enchantment or disease? No, no it had to be an enchantment, it was always a magical mishap when Hogwarts was concerned.

Justine only really tolerated that nickname from Jun, and that was a very special case... She was almost about to turn tail and slip out of class, but then again, Trident's class was much calmer than Hooksteed, and the idea of playing around didn't sound so awful. Justine shrugged, how bad could it be?
Gracefully, she floated through the air toward the shell nearest Trident/Bostros and just managed to press her back into the chair enough to somewhat seem like she was sitting. Oh hey, Lux.
"Bonjour Mademoiselle Lux," Justine said, smiling at the younger girl. "This lesson is right up your alley," grin. After all, Lux was mad about The Little Mermaid.
What was that? Brush her hair? Was someone actually going to brush her hair? She wasn't sure if she liked the idea, on one hand she loved someone playing with her hair, on the other she hated most of these people, how cumbersome.

Toby was mid-floating-somersault by the time he realised what was going on, and just how strange Botros was being. It hadn't registered at first, because of the novelty of the classroom and the excitement of exploring, but now... he realised.
The boy right himself again and attempted to sort of... float down closer to where Botros was, but the gravity situation was making that difficult. But from what he could tell so far, the elderly man thought he was... a king? And they were underwater? And he was calling for Sebastian?
Well, that all sounded familiar, like that one moving Toby had never sat still long enough to finish.
So... so was this a Hooksteed situation? Toby didn't think he could stand having to lock Botros in a closet or anything like that, so he reeeeeeally hoped not. He ignored the question about birthdays, and focused on... just trying to get closer and SEE what was going ON. But he was blowing on that conch shell soon enough, and calling for everyone's attention.
... Right.
Toby floated a little closer (it was so difficult to do anything in here, really) and spoke... hesitantly.
"Profes-... uhh, your royal highness," he said, looking kind of... hesitant. "What... does Sebastian look like?"

Maybe he could sing for the older man. The one who wasn't having an un-birthday yet had a very pretty seat AND making more appear out o f nowhere. Maybe he could rate one when they moved around during the course of the gathering. Floating was fun...but a good, comfy seat was a nice choice alongside the floating.
"Yes....YES! It has to be SOMEONE's un-birthday!!" he exclaimed as he spun around awkwardly in the zero-gravity. The man's gaze flittered around as it tried to pick out the possible celebratory guests. But then his happy look turned shocked as the older man told news of a lost person.
Oh dear...dear me. Dear...dear...me.
"Maybe he went THIS way..." he suggested pointing one way looking at the group.
"Or THAT way..." he added pointing in the other direction with his arms crossed mixed up.
"Oh really the Cheshire Cat is much better with directions."

With some degree of difficulty Adi grabbed onto the rock in front of him and propelled himself off of it in the direction of Benny. Eeeep! This floating was so cool! Aaaah! Maybe it was too cool! He had push off the rock with a little too much strength and now he was gonna...

"Sorry, Benny.'' Gripping the other boy's shoulder, the Hufflepuff used it as leverage to straighten himself. His own shoulder sort of hurt since that was what he had crashed into Benny with directly.
"You look a little lost.'' Just look at him with his ar ms all crossed and that confused look on his face. "Let's go that way, yeah?'' Adi pointed straight ahead. Anyway was a good place to start. At least it would save the Lion from being lost. And hopefully stop the shouts about UnBirthdays. "Keep an eye on your dormouse.'' With that, he started towards the direction he had indicated.

He waved them off with his hand. "ARRANGE YOURSELVES IN GROUPS AND START SEARCHING FOR HIM IN HERE IMMEDIATELY." He looked around at his daughters. "ALSO, SOME OF MY DAUGHTERS NEED THEIR HAIR BRUSHED." Specifically Ariel. "YOU WILL BE REWARDED FOR YOUR SERVICE, DO NOT LAG. BOTH JOBS ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT." Searching for Sebastian and tending to his daughters' hair.
He sat back on the throne with a very serious, distressed look on his face.

It was a delicate balance of knots and Merlin knows what else and she didn't think she wanted anyone yanking away at her hair til it got smooth. "Maybe I can help lead the search for Sebastian." Lex offered, taking the seat directly next to him. This was hers. Yes. With any luck she could lead a group of them out here. The Kitchen was a brilliant place to be to wait out things when they went bad. "I saw him earlier...he might have gotten tied up in the reeds." Plainly, she didn't want to sit here while some idiot messed with her hair, thanks.
Professor Botros was either a really good actor or possessed. With all of the people being possessed, Penelope was more inclined to believe the latter of the two. He did not sound like he intended to throw people out the window or otherwise harm them, so she decided to play along with it. There seemed to be enough people looking for Sebastian. It looked like Lex was one of the King's 'daughters' in need of hair brushing. Letting go of the rock, she floated over to Lex. "I'll brush your hair! ...Do you have a hairbrush?" Penelope needed to talk to Lex about the people getting possessed, and also about some fliers that she had seen the headmistress taking down. "Lex, I need to talk to you after class, somewhere without possessed professors. I promise I won't brush your hair if you don't want me to." Lex would know something about all of these people who were possessed, and she could help Lex in return. Not only did Penelope know something about where Lex's wand might be, but Lex could benefit from Penelope's dislike of chocolate and love of baking things for other people. It was a win-win situation. She just had to find a time to talk to Lex when there weren't any possessed professors around. Meanwhile, Penelope was going to at least pretend to be attempting to brush Lex's hair.

Ethan was too busy to even greet the professor!king because he was floating like a dead fish in an aquarium. He keeps on forgetting to breathe because his new environment looks like the real thing. And...Sebastian? Trident? King??!
Oh noooooooooooooooooooooooo. Botros is not going bonkers like Airey did yesterday, yes? Oh please, he can’t handle…what…princess? Lex? Ethan wanted to laugh real hard, because Lex isn’t the princess kind, but whatever. The Slytherin giggled as he started to ‘swim’ around the classroom pretending to look for Sebastian.
“SEBAAAAAAAAAAASTTIIIAAAAAAAAAANNN!” he said in a sing-song voice. Botros said he’s a servant so shouting his name could scare th e poor thing away, because he’d know he’s in trouble, right? So yes, “SEBAAAASSTTIIIIAAAANNNN!”

“Lex! Princess Lex? Your highness? Whatever.” He called out and sat beside her pretending to brush her hair… “What is going on? I thought Flamsteed was normal yesterday, but Botros…he’s really not okay.” And was Lex aware that he threatened Botros back in the Great Hall? He was having his dinner with Kace that time…

It looked so cool! And the students that were there already were floating/ hovering. He eagerly stepped into the room and was immediately lifted off of his feet.
Adi knew Mad Benny had been going on about him meeting the Dormouse but what he did not know was his own TOADY was the creature. Could this new Benny not see this was their and Conrad's pal? Adi EYED his bestie in the funny hat and returned the wave half heartedly. Hopefully whatever weird um, epidemic had grippe d Benny would leave him soon. In the meanwhile, he trusted the boy would take care of his pet. Benny was the the most trusted person on his list. No matter if he was a bit off...
