Kace had finished brushing her hair, so did that mean she was free to leave the shell? It was nice to pretend to be a mermaid Princess, but she was starting to feel bored just sitting there. Besides, she could still be a Princess while exploring the reeds. "Father, can I join the search for Sebastian ?" it didn't get less strange the second time saying it, but a role was a role.

How many times did he have to say 'no'? He could swear his daughters weren't all rebels! "No. There's a knot in your hair, I can see it from all the way over here."

Shaking her head in amusement, Lux gave her sister a smile. "I won't wander off to search for topsider treasure the way Ariel would." But she wished she could since she WAS really Ariel despite what 'King Triton' said. Oh well, at least she didn't have her butt glued to her shell.

At any case she would not be guarded. She wanted to join the search because it seemed like fun and she didn't have anything else to do right now. "Father pleeeeeease. I know Sebastian and I could find him and make sure he's safe." Puppydog face because she was totally serious about getting off of her shell.

"Hey, Prince Eric wouldn't do that! He's a good man." Hmph.

He listened INTENTLY to his two daughters, discussing the whereabouts and potential kidnapping of dear ole' Sebastian. "PRINCE ERIC!" He shouted, eyes blazing with anger. That human kept meddling in their perfect, happy mer-life! "He could be conspiring with Ursula!" He turned to the princess (Puck), "I WILL PERSONALLY FIND HIM!" And he was going to be banished from ALL seven seas if Triton could help it (and he believed he could, thank you very much).

This wasn't even Professor Botros, so NO. Rebelliously folding her arms across her chest she forgot about holding on the rock for balance, and floundering back she went. With a small squeak she held on to whatever there was to hold on to, which turned out to be a thick bush, her hand brushed against something.

"Sir, I beliiiieve," she began, clutching the thing she'd felt and straightening herself...well, as much as she could. "I believe I am more of help in searching." Oh, look what was this? A doll. Who lost a doll?

"And I'm not gifted in the art of hair brushing." She scratched her temple, doll still in hand.

Did he get it? Yes? Because, unbeknownst to her, Sebastian was still lost.

....... "YOU'VE FOUND SEBASTIAN!" Ignoring all her babbling, King Botros swam fiercely towards the girl and scooped the doll Sebastian up into an awkward hug.

"CEASE THE SEARCH!" He bellowed, happy tears filled his old eyes as he returned to his throne. "I declare Sebastian has been found. The missus over there is to be rewarded of a prize of her choosing." As far as he knew, she wouldn't want a date with one of his daughters...? Though that was still an option if she wanted to.

He turned to look at her, Sebastian!doll hanging limplessly and lifelessly in his hand.
