As you step into the room, you find the walls covered in photos of varying sizes; some taller than the average student and others no bigger than an average desk frame. The subjects of the photos vary as well, each revealing another moment caught in time. The first thing you’ll notice about the photos is that they are all moving: children twirling, bouncing cruppies, partners dancing, the whole nine yards.
In the corner of the room is a black tent, not very wide and taking up no notable amount of space, but the inside has been charmed to fit every and anyone participating in the seminar today. The inside is dimly lit and contains two long sets of tables on which are little bottles of developing solution. Watch your step and don’t break anything once you’re allowed inside.
For now, the Instructor is standing by a small table toward the front of the room with a wide grin plastered on her face, a magical camera slung around her neck, and what looks like an ordinary box with the lid closed. You’re free to ask what’s inside and of course Ms. Courwell is free to choose whether or not she’ll respond.
The room itself is littered with bean bag chairs so feel free to come in and have a seat. The seminar will be starting soon.

The first thing was that the fan just so happened to move her hair directly in her line of vision and what she saw brought pure horror to the seventh year. The second thing was that her worse fears were confirmed, there was something seriously wrong with her. She had grey hair!
"IAN!" she grabbed him with both hands on his shirt. "Do you see this? her mad eyes looking directly into his. She was crazy right? This was not happening. This had to be some kind of trick with the light. "Tell me this doesn't look grey to you!!!" Hannah was still clutching the boys shirt. She was in shock.
Everything seemed to be going well. They were just posing and he was being silly and really getting into this whole fashion photography thing. He thought it might be a future career choice. He didn't want to limit himself, now did he.
Just as he was bending over, with his right shoulder in front and trying to put on his very best male fashion model face when he was jerked around by his shirt collar to face Hannah and she was asking something frantically. She was holding her hair in front of her face and asking if it looked grey to him. He was a little startled and his eyes had to focus on the hair. I don't know. Today's the first day we've met and I don't know what your hair looked like before. He felt bad for her because she seemed really distressed about it. He added, as he looked closer at her hair, It does seem a different color than the rest of your hair.
A Quidditch injury made it sound much more glamours than it really was, to be honest. The truth to it was that she was a fail Quidditch player who couldn't keep a hold on her broomstick. But Caterina decided to roll with it. The truth was a downer and she didn't want to be a downer. She gave Astrid another and much bigger smile. She liked this girl, she was nice and Cat appreciated nice people. They were going to have to talk more. In the dorm, or something. Not right now, cause they were busy and all, plus, boys. Girl talk with boys around wasn't the way to do things.
Girl Code.
No one seemed to mind having a wounded person in their photoshoot, so Cat supposed she could be a good sport and not make a fuss. "If I'm going to be in the pictures, you're going to be in the pictures too." Cat jabbed Mo's side and gave him a look. He couldn't just take pictures.
Interviews with injured players? "Maybe we can think of a gruesome story to go with it." She added to Benjy, "The more gruesome, the more interesting." Oh? Did they find a broom? Cat watched with curious eyes. Broomsticks were super important to the theme.

Although going with a National team look was better, in a way. He waited for everyone to finish pulling their items out of the box, quietly pleased with how well the group was getting on and how nice everyone was being to Cat about her arm. Just pleased in general.
"Your hair is fantastic, Benjy. I'll wear the helmet AND the goggles, if you want, 'cause... you know the girls won't be willing to wear it," Mo said quietly to Benjy as the gestured to the wall behind their bench. Flag there, good sir, and then they could begin.
"I have a tripod with me. That's normal, right?" Mo looked to Cat for affirmation before continuing. "We can set up the camera and then all four of us can be in the picture together. Maybe the girls on the bench and Benjy and I can stand behind them and look menacing. What if we... Accio'd our brooms?" All the thoughts at once.
"I'm ready as soon as we're posed."

They could use a few spells on that to change it to the logo of some Quidditch Team or something. Good one. Nice. They only needed a broom now, though. It was an important part of their photoshoot, after all. What's a Quidditch Team without brooms? Well, she did see some without brooms but, to her, it seemed like there was something missing. Something that lacks, you know? Did anyone get what she meant? Did anyone feel her?
... Oh? Something near her left arm? Astrid looked to her left and dug for whatever it was, before pulling it and holding it up. AH. A broom for kids! A little bit of charms could do the trick, right? "Some sort of broom made specially for toddler, I think? It's kinda smaller than the normal broomstick." Yep. That was it. "This would do, yeah?" They had nothing else so they'd have to stick with this one. It wasn't a big deal, anyway.
So, were Cat and Benjy ready? "I'm good to go," Astrid said. They found some jerseys that they could slip on. Mo was taking the photos until it was his turn, right? She looked at her fellow models. Time to start?
"A gruesome story?" Benjy gave her a little smirk. "I'm sure were can do that." He tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Forced into the stands by a rogue bludger? Attacked by Rabid Badgers? Chased by a real fire-breathing dragon mascot?" Hmm. Getting anywhere close? There was a reason he wasn't on the staff of the student newpaper or yearbook. His suggestions weren't exactly gruesome, were they?
Oh good, they liked the flag. And that WAS a toy broom. Awesome! A tad on the small side, sure, but definitely better than nothing. A Quidditch shoot without brooms was...well, not Quidditchy? Especially in the absence of the balls too. He stood up from the props box, and stretched as he headed back to the others.
Benjy flicked his hair for show, with a chuckle. "Nah, I'll helmet it up. Can't have the Captain over-protected. It'll make you look vulnerable, helmet AND goggles no where near the pitch." And you never made your team leader look vulnerable. Even if this was only a photo shoot for fun. And with that, he ran a hand through his hair to pull it back from his face, and then pulled the helmet on over the top. "There," he said with a grin, and tufts of hair sticking out at random angles out the sides and back.
Jumping over their bench, Benjy grabbed the flag. "I can do menacing," he replied to Mo, as he unfurled the flag and held it up to the girls. "So, straight? At an angle?" Help? It'd be neither if they left him to it...

He didn't know what her hair looked like before? Was he serious? It really didn't matter if her hair was red, brown, black or blonde it definitely wasn't grey before. She was seventeen for crying out loud. What was this different color that he was going on about? Didn't he understand the importance of her question? No, no, no, NO, NOOOO!" she shrieked. "I NEED you to focus." She had to try really hard not to shake him.
"If you had to say a color... what would you say this color is?" She thrust her hair into his face. He was not going to get out of this question. Hannah had to know. Although, what she would do when she had her worse fears confirmed was still a mystery!

Ian heard her chastise him and it un-nerved him a little. Here they were, having what he thought was a good time and she had started in on this about her hair. She still maintained the grip on his shirt and held him and she was quite insistent that he 'focus'. Like that was a difficult choice right now with her having hold of his shirt and staring right into his eyes. It was kind of like the cobra swaying to get it's prey to be hypnotized. He couldn't really move right now if he had wanted to.
She asked him to describe the color of her hair. He looked at it and began to stammer out an answer. W-w-w-w-ell. I-i-if I had to choose one... he started and then stared at her hair, because really it was like two or three colors. Which one did she want to be. ...mostly blonde. I think I see a couple streaks of silver, but if I had to choose one, it would be blonde.

He was stammering, did Hannah frighten him? Most likely she did, but that was not important at the moment. Her hair was the only thing on her mind. Surely IF there was major problem it could be fixed with a simple potion right? Yes, yes of course. This would be be an easy fix. She was not going to go over the deep end.
Finally Ian was making sense. Her hair was mostly blonde, she could deal with that. She had streaks of brown so it would make sense that he saw more than one color, but then she heard the word that she hoped would never escape his mouth... silver. "That's just a nice word for grey." Silver was not a color that should be on her head.
She was not going to have a meltdown. "Okay, okay... let's continue." Acting as if what had just happened was not out of the ordinary at all. "Back to posing." She stood there with her fake smile plastered back on her face and her eyes looking mad as ever.

Okay….right….they were taking pictures and Bay wanted to keep up his end of the bargain and do the best he could.. More poses were coming Ella's way.
Ella couldn't help but laugh as Bay went through the cowboy motions in front of the camera, snapping away so she could catch all of the action. These pictures were going to be great once they were developed, especially since they'd capture his motions. That's what really sold the cowboy thing, she thought. "Yeehaw indeed!" Grin.
"That's mysterious." How Bay didn't know exactly what his dad did. Ella wasn't sure she'd have enough self control to stop herself from snooping to find out if it were her. She smiled a little and shrugged at what he said next, replying cheerfully, "Only if you want. It's not really my business, yeah?" She didn't mean to pry, was just curious is all.
Snapping a few more times as they chatted, Ella offered, "My dad is a book publisher." Just in case he'd been wondering.

Oh yes, of course she would need to pose. It was as if her brain had disconnected from the rest of her body. She felt like she was going to spaz at any moment. Just keep smiling she told herself. "That's fine." Whatever.
She suddenly wanted this photo shoot to be over so she could run to her common room and inspect every inch of her body. Maybe Ian didn't know his colors. One could always hope right? Now she was the one who needed to focus. All she had to do was get through this photo shoot.

He watched her and she suddenly seemed very nervous. He wasn't quite sure what to do. He just did the first thing that popped into his head. It was impulsive and weird and altogether unlike him and it happened too quickly. He pulled her wrists to the side and released them before stepping closer to her and hugging her. Once he had his arms around Hannah, he stood there, not quite sure what to do next.
The pictures were being snapped already? Just of them in general, yeah? Awkward Alec was awkward and he was going to do something he was good at: stand there. Awkwardly. Of course.
Wait... did his hair look okay?
... Not the time. GRIN for the camera. Hey!
Rummaging through the items, the boy pulled out a cape of his own, a red one, a draped that around his shoulders. Did he feel cool? YEAH. He was Head Boy ABS Summers, now with a cape. Did the box have a make-shift hammer, too? Like Thor's? Finding a toy one, he pulled that out and held it up. "What do you think?" The question was aimed at anyone.
Goofiness? Cowgirl? "What about..." Think. "What about we do it as one verses the other? Cowgirls or cowboys vs. Superheroes?" The goofiness theme required a bit more thinking. Just a bit. "We could make the pictures goofy on their own. I mean... they don't have to be completely serious pictures. Pull funny faces, make them weird... yeah."
... Unless... they had a different idea of goofiness?

She adjusted the camera's settings for the light in the room and stepped around to the side for a different angle. Isn't that what photographers were supposed to do? Angles and lighting and things? Her grandmother had flirted with an at-home photography business once, but it had never taken off because she hadn't been all that good.
Gwen laughed as Alec held up a hammer, recognizing the super-hero he was trying to be, and snapped a picture of him. "Nice," she complimented. One vs. the other sounded perfectly fine to Gwen. She shrugged, then realized she might seem like a camera hog. She held the device out from her body. "Anybody else want a turn with the camera?" Not that she really wanted to be the subject, but she wanted to be fair to her group members.

Lucas GRINNED.
"Your hair.. is there a yellow wig in there?" Because Thor kind of had some shiny, shoulder length locks.
The Gryffindor laughed at the picture idea. "That sounds awesome!" And there were a couple of water guns in the box too! "I think there's a Western hat in there.." And in saying that, he pulled out a dark blue cape, similar to the one Alec was wearing and found some really rather strange metallic gloves.
"So who takes the photos?" he asked everyone, out of curiosity. "Or does it take the picture by itself?"

"Oh, my, Alec, you look great, I love Thor, I think I may try Loki if the helmets in there. Loki was a hero at times and we can do villians too. Lizzie was pleased they'd decided to participate, even those who didn't really want to--yes you Silent Pretty-- were getting into it...if not a bit awkward while they were. Lizzie wouldn't protest to this. No, instead, the woman raised her camera and began taking shots, getting every change of their bodies. For non-professionals they weren't half bad...not in a group anyway.
"Yes! Yes! Work it! Brilliant!"Snap. Snap. Snap.
Lizzie just kept snapping, almost forgetting they were under a time crunch. Glancing down at her watch, she found they had a bit more time but she didn't want it all spent on the shoot. They still had one more activity to get done! The woman took a few more shots just to satisfy herself then lowered the camera with a wide grin.
"Excellent! You all have faces for the camera!" And they would see in a minute.
"Can I have everyone's attention? Yes I know you're having a lot of fun, but we need to move into the tent and get these developed. Finish up your shots then meet me in there." Had to be loud enough to ensure they all heard.
She gave the group a once over then ushered for her own group to follow her inside.
Take the last few shots guys then have you charries head into the tent in the back of the room. We're moving to the final activity.

Hearing the instructor call out that they were running out of time, she sighed and picked up a fancy looking blue dress that she had found in the pile. "Thanks, Tessa... but I don't think we have time for that. This dress will be okay." She could bear with it and be Ariel with legs.

Hearing that they were nearly out of time, Alex picked up a camera and began taking pictures of her group members. She didn't know how good the pictures would be, but at least they would have something to work with. Then she handed cameras to the others so that they could get a few shots in before the Professor called time. This was definitely speed photography at its best.

Alright so they needed to get a camera and props for what they would be shooting. Adi had seemed to be getting up to get them and Ben was ready to leave his Hufflepuff friend to do just that since the woman said only one person from each group was needed. However when the other member of their group followed, it seemed they were to be thinking on their feet and moving to work together.
So Benjamin followed, listening to the idea being shared. "That would work...there are four of us." And contrary to the title there were technically 4 musketeers. As for props, the swords were definitely the main thing. "Maybe capes...hats with feathers?" the Gryffindor mused, running a hand absently through his hair.
And given the fact that the seminar leader wanted them to move onto the backdrop area, they probably should get their stuff ready...whatever they were.
Kace was glad to be working with these guys. He seemed to think this photo shoot would be awesome. "Yeah the four musketeers in action. Oh yeah they had hat with feathers and capes." he said agreeing with Benjamin.

Adi began digging into the costumes and after some rummaging he found a black cape. "Is this going to be okay?'' Adi asked Kace & Benny. That reminded him- they needed those old fashioned boots. "Footwear. We'll need that too. Old fashioned boots if I'm not mistaken.'' In all honesty, Adi did not know much about these Musketeers. He continued his rummaging and came up with a hat with as red feather.
Kace nodded and said, "Yeah the black capes would work." Then Kace went in to fish in the costume bin. "I think i found some shoes.." he said digging them and tugging on them to get it out. "What do you think?" he asked holding black boots. "I think i can make copies of them." he grinned. He knew one charm his mom taught him.

Click! Click! While nobody else had asked for the camera when she offered it, Gwen snapped pictures like crazy. It was getting pretty funny in here. Thor and Loki and water guns and wigs.
Gwen took a ton of pictures. Maybe after they were finished she could put them into a collage. That would be fun, and she could make copies for each member of the group and maybe even one to send home. "Do you want to take pictures?" Gwen asked Lucas. Just because he'd asked how they took them. And maybe she should be in at least one picture if she was going to send them home.

Oh! It was time to develop the pictures! This was the make-them-move part, right? Or maybe they developed them like muggle photos, then charmed them to move? Gwen didn't know. "Are we just about finished, guys?" She asked her group. She had plenty of shots here with superheroes and cowboys and the two groups warring, and just a few candids of the group getting ready. Did they want to take a few more, or were they good?

OH. They had to take pictures NOW or they wouldn't be able to move on. Well in that case, guess it was solo shot time!
"Ok, new plan - I'll take a pic of you being all silly in the library...and then I can do my serious library shot or something!" he said with a grin. Too bad he wouldn't be able to act out being annoyed by a clown in the library, but ah well.

Mo finished setting up his tripod as the other three figured out how to hang the flag and set up their positions on the bench (and behind it). The nice thing about being a group of four sixth years was that advanced magic was possible, that they didn't need anyone to be in charge or fall behind... and that they didn't have to figure out how to bolster anyone up to the proper height.
Except Cat, 'cause she was kitten-sized. "Okay, we're all set here. I'm just going to turn the timer, and you three get into position..." Mo slid on the goggles and one of the jerseys as he waited for everyone else to get situated, and then he pushed the button and scurried into place.
The shutter closed several times in a row, and only then did Mo realize his hair had to be a MESS. Why hadn't his stylists fixed him? "Don't smiiiiiiiiiile," Mo said in that 'say cheese' voice he hated, and he tried to affect one of those Quidditch player man-of-steel faces instead.
Did they look awesome? "Any other poses we want to try, 'cause we have a minute before we go into the tent and develop all our photos."

Tessa heard the instructor call out that they needed to wrap up and winced. They really needed to get a move on. Picking up her camera, she started snapping away at the group, getting some candid shots as they put the finishing touches on their costumes or conversed. She even took a few selfie shots, shouldering her broom or looking out as if she were about to go on a long adventure.
"Come here guys, start posing," she said, and started taking pictures of them- whether they were ready or not. "Come on," she said, tossing the camera to one person. She hoped on her broom and began to pose with the others. She started off sitting, but threw in a few more poses- hanging upside down from her broom by her knees, flying a quick loop-de-loop around, among other little tricks. "Get my good side?" she teased to the camera holder. "Not that I have a bad side," she joked mostly.
She glanced around them, wondering what other poses they could do before their time completely ran out. She was sure there were some good shots in there, but it couldn't help to take more- just in case.

Sander immediately went into pose mode when Alex and Tessa started shooting pictures of them. "Okay time for you ladies to have your pictures taken," Sander took the camera from Tessa and began taking pictures of all the ladies together. "Remember smile....and DON'T BLINK!" he grinned at all of them.
He was having so much taking pictures of his group that he was disappointed when he heard the instructor tell them that they had to stop and join her in the tent.
"Okay everyone one group shot. I'm going to put this on self timer. So get into your favorite position." Sander told everyone as he found a place high enough to place their camera on. Then he looked through the viewfinder, focussed to make sure everyone was in the shot, then set the timer and rushed back to join his group.
"Smile everyone....and don't blink," he muttered to everyone and then the flash went off. Picture Perfect.
"I guess it's time for us to head into the tent now to develop our pictures. I'm sure all you ladies look awesome in them. Alex, you look great in that ice skating outfit, Cucumber I much prefer you as Ariel instead of a Cucumber and Tessa, you're the epitome of a Professional Quidditch player," he grinned at all of his friends.
As for him, he hoped that at least he looked more like Peter Pan than Kermit the Frog.

Not enjoying having her picture taken - especially in a dress - Lux put on a brave face as she posed for various pictures with her friends and even snapped a few of them. Throwing in a few selfies at the end, she felt that they had all done a good job with the photo shoot and that she shell in her hair was really pretty and she wished she could keep it.
She smiled at Sander. "You make a really good Peter Pan, and I think everyone else looks amazing in their outfits as well!" They were an amazing group, and they had managed to pull everything off in no time. Go them!
Since they were finished everything, she made her way towards the tent.
He didn't even realise he was getting papped until he saw Gwen move past him with the camera. "Hey!" he laughed, "I'm not pooooosing!" And then pulled a ridiculous pose.
But yes. They were finished. THEY WERE AWESOME.
He beamed and followed everyone back to the tent. "So, so, do you think we'll make them move?" Wasn't that the whole point? THE EXCITEMENT! "How cooooool."

"oh thats awesome i love to read, what kind------ bay couldnt finish his sentance, the gryffindor prefect was asking tem all to finish up and move into the tent. " you think were all done so we can have these awesome pictures devloped. " moving away from the camera he took off his hat, oh great hat hair.
It seemed that was something they shared, their curiosity. Ella smiled and nodded, snapping again to capture the hand swipe. It was something her Gran did, that gesture, and she wanted it caught on camera.
Then Bay was asking something else but they were instructed by the instructor and Ella turned her attention to her, head tilted to the side. Oh, time to develop the pictures? Cool. "Yeah, I think we did pretty well." Grin!
The blonde removed her hat too and smoothed her hair, knowing it was probably a mess. She wasn't pleased about this but they had things to do. She'd make her way directly to the Prefects' bathroom after this to sort it out.
Grabbing the camera, the blonde motioned the Gryffindor to join her as she walked into the tent. "It'll be nice to see how these turned out. I bet they're funny." Not their faces, of course, more their mannerisms in the pictures.

Gruesome story? Astrid blinked. She didn't really get the point of why they needed to have a gruesome back-story so that Cat's broken arm was there for a reason. I mean, it was just a photoshoot right? Perhaps it would understandable that it was a Quidditch injury or something. Maybe they might just overlook it, but nah. That didn't seem likely. But anyway, they were supposed to like start the photoshoot now, yeah? They had the brooms, helmets, and jerseys.
Right. Astrid took a jersey and put it on. Yep, she had the Quidditch feel now, didn't she? And the flags too, they added to the atmosphere. "I feel like a Quidditch star." How random, but yes. She really felt like one, especially since they had to have a photoshoot and all that while wearing these gear. She tried to imagine like this was a photoshoot for the cover of a famous international Quidditch magazine so that she could have the feel of being a model.
OH, and the timer was starting. Yes, yes. That was the cue. Astrid looked at the camera and no smiling. Yep. Gotta do that "lazy model" pose that they had planned on earlier. And.... SNAP! Yes! First photo done. Guess they had a few more minutes to take a couple more shots because she totally heard Miss Courwell calling them or something. Gotta hurry up.
Other poses? Hmm. "What about you and Benjy do the back-to-back pose and cross your arms? Like real bros?" Astrid said. Because, why not? Anyway, they were going to be future Quidditch superstars and their names will be on the front cover of Quidditch Weekly one day. Can you see it? Because Astrid could.

Click!

Oh man was it fun dressing up all funny and having Gwen snapping that camera. But it seemed it was time to move onto the next portion of making the pictures move!!!. "Oh, it will be awesome to see our pictures move, we can make one of the coolest collages ever! As for are we done, I think we are unless someone else in the group has something they would like to add.".
