West considered this logically. Obviously he needed to make it LOOK real... and the spell looked silver yeah? He could just conjure a harmless jet of silver light at her, do it non verbally, so that the professor might be fooled and Alice wouldn't find ways to punish him.

Just as she had been a few minutes ago, Alice was still a horrid actress. Which meant awful results, of course. When the silver jet of light came at her, she emitted a laugh so obviously forced that anyone could probably pick it out across from across the room.

But Romanos wasn't anybody, so she was okay.

Sigh. Really? He eyed her. If he got a low grade on this class because of her crappy acting skills then HE would be the one withholding fun things for punishment.

"You wanna try the other one?" Like Romanos said. Yeah?

Laura had been enjoying watching everyone else practice. She had just stayed out of the way and watched pretending to be a Professor, she of course was staying at of the Professors way so that the Professor didn't see what she was doing.

Laura had been totally asleep when the professor had given out the instructions so well she wasn't actually going to tell the Professor that instead she was just going to avoid going anywhere near the Professor and just watch everyone else.

What were those eyes for? It was a good fake laugh. It was. It was.

"Yeah." Tickling Hex, right? She couldn't recall casting it before, but reading about it and were roughly the same thing. Sort of. Kind of. A little bit. It'd hopefully help a little with the performance of it, technique and all.

"Titillando." Raising her wand, she drew a sort of wave-like shape in the air and waited for the purple hands to make him laugh for real this time.

That one DID feel more... uncomfortable. But also... West just wasn't ticklish, so it fell short. The purple hands were having a good go at things though and it was annoying and uncomfortable and he tried to swat them away to no avail.

These were not fun hands!

He was such a boring partner. Alice watched him, not entertained in the slightest until he began swatting. At least that was somewhat interesting. She kept observing, mostly because it grew more amusing as she let it go on, and also because she just liked looking at him.

... was he going to tell her to stop any time soon, though?

'Cause she was waiting for his word like Romanos said and being a good kid and stuff.

"You can stop it now." Please? See the one thing about not being ticklish was that it didn't mean he didn't feel anything, it was just not ticklish, more just.. unpleasantness. And he was getting the weak feeling that had to be tied into the hex itself...

Was she just gonna let him suffer?!

But it was finally getting entertaining with the swatting and all. Alice had to let it go on for a few more moments just because she wanted to before finally casting a "Finite" on him. Better, yeah? It didn't look too bad.

Of course, she'd be saying the exact opposite if she was on the receiving end of that hex.

"Your turn." Fake turn.

Better. When she took it off, the weak feeling didn't go away, just that horrible sensation of hands all over him, but it was for sure better.

So, his turn?

See with this spell... there was no faking it. How could he conjure purple hands that tickled without using the spell? He couldn't, there wasn't a spell for it.

"I.... am going to have to do it for real." He warned her. She realised this yes? West gave her a few minutes to prepare, eyeing her up.

What? For real? ".... but... but you said you wouldn't." Yeah. No tickling. Alice wrapped her arms around herself in a sort of hug, as if her limbs could shield her from those creepy purple hands. The results on her end would definitely be different from West's nonchalant swatting, that was for sure. Could they just.... not?

She was prepared to keep arguing and arguing, but no doubt there was a spell coming.

... well? He might as well get it over with.

Alex was still watching Sander to see if her spell had worked. When he suddenly began to laugh, she knew she had done it correctly. Alex was having her own private celebration in her head when she remembered that poor Sander was still laughing uncontrollably. Oooops.

As she raised her wand and said, "Finite", she noticed Sander's face turning bright red. Hoping that he was OK and hadn't reached his laughter limit, she was about to ask him about it when.........a certain smell reached her nostrils. Ohhhhh. "Well better out than in", Alex thought. Ignoring the aroma, she said, "OK twin, it's your turn to try now.". "Let's see whatcha got.". Knowing that Sander was very adept at spells, she had no doubt that he would cast this one easily. Alex stood tall waiting for the tickles to hit her again.

"I just don't know how I can... fake it." Really. How? He was open to ideas. "What if you try shielding yourself from it somehow? What about that self-armouring spell? Then you wouldn't be ticklable through it, right?"

Because he really didn't want her to get mad at him.

Thank goodness for Professor Romanos deciding to speak, because it gave Fern the perfect opportunity to catch her breath without looking like she was catching her breath.

Errrrr, well, actually it gave her the perfect opportunity to catch her breath without anyone noticing she was catching her breath. Because with her hands on her sides, breathing slowly in and out, she definitely looked like she was catching her breath. But if everyone was paying attention to the professor, they wouldn't be paying attention to Fern.

By the time Professor Romanos finished talking, Fern was back to breathing normally, and when Lux asked her what SHE wanted to do, Fern swelled with self-importance. "I think we should duel!!"

Bart watched as his spell went at her, but last minute she threw the shield up and he failed, this was fun. Backing up a bit he watched her face as she grinned. At that moment he decided dueling was fun and he should do it more often. It could beat reading any day.

As he kept his yes on her he saw the arrow and heard her words, sticking up his wand he was caught by surprise by her aim. "Protego" Came a second too late and he felt the sensation of the tickling and weakness at his feet.

NOT THE FEET!! He started laughing, "My feet are the most ticklish spot." He roared with laughter, but tried to pull the arrow through laughs, "Rictusempra" Maybe his laughter would distract her, he just hoped the spell would work through laughter.

Noticing that Fern needed to catch her breath, Lux waited patiently for her. When duelling was mentioned, it made her really smile. Because duelling was what Lux really had wanted to do. "Just what I was thinking! I've never duelled before." And now she would be able to duel with her dorm-mate and it would be her first duel ever. This was awesome!

Whew!.....the smell that reached his nose was enough to tell that his accidental slip was bound to be noticed by anyone within breathing distance and Sander was horrified. He studied Alex's face for any reaction. Either she was a great actress or her nose was blocked because her face showed no sign that anything had happened.

Sander was soooooo glad to see that. He waved his hand discreetly behind his bum to wave away any more residual smell. Then he smiled Sander at Alex. "Wow! You're a master...I mean mistress at casting non-verbal spells. I hope I do just as well. Ready?"

Concentrating hard on the intent of the spell, Sander called out silently in his mind the incantation, 'Rictumsempra,' and then waited for the spell to take effect.

Whaaat? Adrienne gaped at the professor. So they weren't even allowed to try the fun hex? They had to stick with this dumb charm? She was so aghast that she had somehow totally forgotten that there was someone suffering laughing in front of her. "Oh, right." She turned to Ben and raised her wand to end the charm, even getting to the point of opening her mouth, until she reconsidered and lowered it again. While he was at her mercy, it would make sense to make sure that she didn't end up in exactly his position, wouldn't it?

Adrienne moved closer to speak quietly so that Romanos wouldn't hear her. "I'll only let you off if you promise not to cast anything on me afterwards." She stepped back again and crossed her arms, looking him up and down. She had no pity, and wouldn't hesitate to leave him like that for the rest of the class if he decided not to comply.

Laura was totally enjoying this, she wasn't getting hurt or anything and she was learning at the same time, being a Professor wasn't really hard was it if this was all they had to do. She was carefully making sure the Professor didn't see her hiding away at the back whilst watching everyone else. This was totally fun.

"Finite.", he finally casted to get the feeling off, though the aftermath of the chuckling was still there even as he fake-gasped in his faked offense to Adi's reply. He hadn't casted, but someone Rehman was laughing as well.

Dueling said the Professor? Alright, but what was the point if you could always use a protective spell? He'd prefer something a little more challenging. "Rictumsempra!", he tried again, aiming low for the center of gravity in case the crafty little Puff tried to move.

Adi was watching Cutty but he was slow in his reaction. Blame the weird aging. Ugh! It cost him his opportunity of blocking the Slytherin's spell. So what was the result? Adi was hit without any resistance.

"HAHAHAHAHA!'' he burst out, clutching his sides. Oh Merlin! Cutty's spell was surprisingly strong. "HAHAHA!!'' He had now dropped to his knees, laughing helplessly.

He had to stop the spell! But he was soooo helpless. Adi doubted Cutty would want to stop it. He raised his wand. "Fi-HAHAHAHA! Fi...HAHA...FINITE!'' Ah! Finally! He ceased laughing.

"Nice one, Cutty,'' Adi said. Yes, nice one indeed. "Rictumsempra!" How that now? He had cast the spell as casually as he could, without even getting to his feet.

Bay's admission made Ella smile and the eighteen year old hoped it was a reassuring one because she was in the same boat, yeah? "I'm really ticklish too. It can be our secret, yeah?" In case he thought being ticklish wasn't super manly or something. See? She could be a bro...or whatever the female equivalent was.

"Yeah, okay. Good. We'll just...see how it goes." Truth be told, Ella was a bit more concerned about this spell but she figured it'd be better to try it out than sit in the stands writing. She learned better by doing and this was the time to do it. "Sure, practice all you want. I'll practice too." That way she'd be ready when her turn came around.

"Titillando...Titillando...Titillando...Titillando ." And that hook motion. Ella watched Bay do it and then practiced the movement too, wanting to get it right. She didn't stop her practice until Bay broke her concentration saying he was ready. The Head Girl took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay, let's see."

The badger braced herself for the impact of the spell but nothing happened. She'd even had her eyes closed which was kind of embarrassing so she peeked one open, then the other, a sheepish expression on her face. "I think..well I heard the spell but it sounded different. Like the end of the incantation had the endo sound instead of the ando one." Nodnod. "Try again?"

okay great he wasn't the only one that was ticklish.. even though there wasn't much physical things about this class Bay was already starting to feel tired.. more and more he kept thinking about his bed.. seeing her practice made him smile.. "I hope when its her turn to try she gets it.. even though i don't want to get tickled" thinking in his head.

seeing her open her eyes after his spell had failed he looked at her when she told him to try again.. another big gulp… oh and she was giving him pointers… "yeah it sounded funny didn't it" he said while scratching his head.. come on Bay think.. why was the pronunciation always so hard for him.

"okay lets try this again" he said while moving his wand like he did before.. "see i have no problems doing this" he thought while saying the spell out loud. "Titillando" after he cast the spell he squinted his eyes.. wondering if it had worked……..

It did sound funny, yeah. Ella nodded in agreement and took a few steps back, as if this would protect her from the spell somehow. She probably wouldn't have been as nervous if her body wasn't as fragile as it was right then but she stood still anyway, just waiting. She'd be fine, right? ...Right.


The squirming was immediate and Ella was making sounds but they were more squeaky than her laughter normally was. Mostly because this spell was definitely more uncomfortable than the last and made her feel different. Less tickled than bothered. She didn't like this. Could it be over now? She gave hopeful looks to Bay through her squirming and tried her best to get away from the sensation but she was powerless against it at this point. It was up to him.

Alex hoped that Sander wasn't worried about his little incident. She had a twelve year old brother. She had seen and smelled things that would curl your hair. It took more than a little toot to phase her.

Alex blushed when Sander complimented her nonverbal spell. "Thanks, but I'm really not that good at it. I think I just got lucky today. Anyway, I know you'll do great. I've seen your work Mr. Strand. This will be a piece of cake for you.

Alex readied herself to receive the spell. Casting a nonverbal spell gave Sander the element of surprise. Of course when she started to think that the spell might not have worked, the tickles hit her. It seemed that each time they tried the spell, the effect got stronger. Alex laughed harder than ever. This time tears streamed from her eyes and she had difficulty breathing again. She felt like she might need an inhaler any minute. "Who.....thought.....this lesson.......would be....a good.....idea?, she gasped.
