She squinted her eyes closed, afraid of what might happen. Was his vision okay? Because her grandmother had that sort of problem. Here...it...goes.....eeeeeeh-She felt nothing. Awar grabbed a hold of the mirror and peered into it, "Yeah, I've always had this baby face. Maybe nothing did happen. Try again?" She pointed to a set of wrinkles on the side of her eyes, "Try for those." |
Post #2 Text Cut: Lux Turning back to Lux, Beverly nodded. He seemed like a nice offering for her to practice on him. With a small grin she waved at Lux. "Thanks for the lift." She pointed at her forehead. Still smooth. :3 Text Cut: Sander Beverly grimaced at the 'wrinkling predicament' part. It was sad it was happening. It was frustrating being old and... Merlin, she was near to trespassing the border line to ancient. Oh? Wrinkles around the neck. Beverly used the desk to raise herself. Tall dude was tall. Green-grey eyes shifted from his face to his neck. "Okay, I'll fix those right up." And hopefully he wouldn't end up with a balloon-ish neck. Was that even possible? Nah, she had every confidence in her ability. That and Charms was her specialty besides potions. With a swish of her wand she concentrated her hardest on the spell and on intent. This was TRUSTING her. That was major. "Frontis Allevatus!" she said. There was a moment of doubt after she cast the spell and nothing happened for a few seconds. But soon the wrinkles vanished as the skin on Sander's neck smoothed. PHEW. MERLIN. HAH. "I didn't balloon you!" she squeaked, then composed herself. Ahem. "I mean...I-I fixed the wrinkles." INNER BEAM. |

"I think you've got this spell mastered. D'you want me to try it out on you as well?" He wasn't about to go waving a wand in someone's face if they didn't agree to it, and perhaps her need wasn't as obvious as Mo's had been. In the meantime, he patted the same wrinkled spot by his eye on the other side of his face and pointed the wand carefully at himself. Just a swish and... "Frontis Allevatus." "How does it look? Did I do it?" |
Post 2 SPOILER!!: Sander Tessa looked over when she heard Sander's voice and shot him a smile. "Of course," she told him with a smile. "Let me get some practice in on myself, and then we can straighten one another's wrinkles," she told him with a soft laugh. Returning her attention to her mirror, she held it up and moved it around to try and find the part of her face that was most in need of attention. Finally, she settled for around her eyes. Pointing her wand at the wrinkles on her face, she gave it a swish and said "Frontis Allevatus." There was the slightest bit of lift, but not a huge difference. She frowned into the mirror- but quickly relaxed her face when she saw all of the wrinkles it had created. "Try that again," she murmured to herself. Pointing her wand again, she gave a firm swish up with her wand while saying the spell. The winkles lifted and faded, leaving part of her face looking more like her usual self. However, it was a strange sight seeing half of her almost normal and the other half... whatever it had been. "Okay, I'm ready if you are," she said, turning to Sander with a grin. |
Post 3 SPOILER!!: Sander "Thanks twin.". If there was anyone Alex trusted to work on her face, it was Sander. She readied herself to receive the spell and felt as if her skin tightened when Sander directed his wand at her. Grabbing her mirror, Alex dared to take a peek. They were gone! The wrinkles on her forehead were gone, thank goodness. "I knew I could count on you Sander." Now if she could just get someone to take care of the rest of her face, she'd be in good shape. Sander had gone off to work with another student so Alex scanned the room looking for someone else in need of a practice partner. In the meantime, Alex decided she might as well practice on herself one time. She pointed her wand at the wicked laugh lines around her mouth and gave it a swish. Saying, "Frontis Allevatus", Alex felt the now familiar tightening sensation on her skin. Checking the mirror again, she saw an improvement in her mouth wrinkles. "I'm getting there", she thought to herself. However, Alex still needed work done on her eyes.........and she could stand to practice the spell again on another person. Back to looking for a new practice partner....... |
Beverly and Tessa <3 SPOILER!!: Beverly Balloon him!! Had he even been in danger from that happening? Sander hadn't even thought of that possibility. "Uh....I'm glad you didn't balloon me either, Beverly," Sande nervously smiled at Beverly even as he quickly examined his neck in the mirror. No no ballooning anywhere. Sander decided that while he was in the process of exmaming his neck, he would examine wherever others had worked their spells on his face too. Anna and Lux had worked on his forehead and cheeks. Quick check there. Clear. Alice had worked on the crowsfeet. Nothing bad happening there. Where else? Sander gave up thinking and just checked his entire face. So far he looked normal. "Thanks for working on my neck, Beverly," Sander smiled sheepishly at the young Slytherin. He looked over to where Tessa had called out to him and walked over to join his girlfriend. SPOILER!!: Tessa "I'm here reporting for wrinkle me clean duty," Sander grinned down at Tessa. Now this was one person, he didn't have any doubts about. He totally trusted Tessa. She would be the last person to cause his face to balloon out. "I have this side all ready for you, Tessa." Sander pointed to the area on his cheek. "I think once you've got that zapped, my face should be wrinkle free," Sander looked at himself in the mirror. "If you want, I can work on your wrinkles," Sander offered his assistance. Yes she could trust him not to balloon her face. Nod...nod... |
Post #3 Text Cut: Sander It didn't seem like Sander was aware of the ballooning bit. Good thing she didn't mess up, right? Blinking up at him, she watched as he inspected his entire face. Yep, definitely didn't know that. "Don't worry, your face looks handsome." It did. What? Now she could work on her own face, because having someone else point a wand at her wasn't very comfortable. She sent Sander a small wave and grin. Thank you for letting her trial the charm on his neck. .... Back in her seat, Beverly grabbed the mirror and grimaced at the reflection. Her forehead looked nice, a part of her old self. Time to fix the rest, yeah? Mirror in one hand, wand in the other, she took a deep breath. She had this. If she could make Sander's neck pretty, she could make hers better. Swiiiish. "Frontis Allevatus!" The familiar cooling breeze sensation brushed her cheek. The skin extended, losing the prune-y look to them. SMOOTH. Looking into the mirror she gasped. Half her face was nice, thirteen-year-old her. The other half was old her. Heh. She was like... Two-face. |
Post 3- Helping Sander & getting help SPOILER!!: Sander She smiled slightly and nodded, "Nice to meet you Sander." Anna gave a nod then closed her eyes as he casted the spell. Again, a smile appeared as she looked in the mirror. "Thanks." She nodded, he'd done better than her first try with Bay at least, right? With Bay it seemed to barely be noticeable to her... so maybe she did need to practice on making it stronger, then when she got older she'd remember this so she wouldn't have to get all wrinkly. She nodded slightly as he asked if she'd like to try, "Sure." Annaleecia smiled, "Sorry if I don't do as well." The young girl gave a slight laugh, "My skills just haven't grown enough to show a lot of change with anything." That wasn't a bad thing though right? It was only her first year seriously studying magic. But, back to the spell, she smiled and gently laid her wand on his forehead, same as he'd done with her, "Frontis Allevatus!" She smiled as it tightened at least a bit more than her first time using it... but still not enough to be extremely noticed. She offered him the mirror, "It's not much but it did do a little bit." Which was still better than nothing right? |
This is going to be amusing Quote:
While Michael couldn't hear it, he could tell that the Professor was a little bit angry with him. Well maybe the guy should write down what was going on with the lesson especially when he knew that some students were hard of hearing at the moment. There was a lot of movement going from the students but he had absolutely no idea what he was supposed to be doing. And he was just about to ask someone when all of a sudden Rhodes was beside him and she too was speaking to him. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Oh Merlin, this was stupid. He held up a finger to her indicating that she should wait a moment before he pulled some parchment and wrote on it. Quote:

1 So Marigold wasn't one of the people with weird old faces and stuff, but she figured this charm wouldn't hurt... Unless ballooned faces happened. It's alright, she could do this and not permanently injure her face. First, she needed to practice the incantation. "Froneteez? No. Frontissalehvaytuss! Frontis Allevatus!" Right? |
Post 3 SPOILER!!: Sander Tessa grinned at her boyfriend. "You don't have many left," she said, reaching up to cup his wrinkle free cheek. Not that looks really mattered for them, their relationship was more than that. But, she wouldn't deny she liked looking at his handsome face. "A whole side? You must really trust me," she told him with a wink as she examine the sie of his face he had indicated. She was trying to figure out where best to cast first in order to best utilize the spell. Finally, she was ready and she looked at him, holding up her wand. "Here I go," she told him, and with an upward swish up her wand, she cast "Frontis Allevatus!" She watched as the wrinkles lifted and help up the mirror for Sander. "How does it look?" she asked, peeking around at him. "Sure, that would be great," she said, scooting her chair closer to his so that he could get a good shot. |

His eyesight really was bad so... maybe it was a good thing that Awar checked her reflection in the mirror too. It was a shame that nothing happened. ... Try for the wrinkles near her eyes? Alec leaned a tiny bit closer and squinted a little at those before nodding. Sure. He could... ... do that, right? Clearing his throat, he pointed his wand at her face -- that wasn't scary, right? -- and said in a voice that was a little bit more confident than last time, "Frontis Allevatus!" SWISH! ... ... Waiting... ... GRIN. "I think you're going to like the results," he said, holding up the mirror so that it faced her. |
Post 1, anyone want to practice on a wrinkly firstie? There was a Charm to give them a facelift? Really? Josette's interest perked up as she listened to the Professor pronounce the charm to the class. Frontis Allevatus? Certainly an odd name she had to admit, but if it was going to get ride of these scary wrinkles, she was more than willing to try it out. Her eyes lit up when she'd seen the wrinkles by the Professor's eyes vanish and she smiled feeling very eager to try it out. She then took a moment after he'd shown them the correct swish movement to sound it out. "Fron-tiss..Al-ey-vay-tuss.." Was that saying it correctly? "Fron-tiss...Al-ey-vay-tuss" Hmm...perhaps say it one more time. "Frontis Allevatus.." Josette nodded after saying it a few times, feeling a bit confident that she'd had the pronunciation down. ..Should she practice the wand movement now? |
Post #2 +Josette It seemed like she'd been saying the incantation since forever. She lost track of both the number of times she'd said it and whether she was saying it correctly. For all she knew she could have been saying her own name over and over again. Hopefully not, though. That'd look stupid in case someone had heard her. She cast a look around her and found everyone busy with their partner or their own faces. Peering at one of the mirrors she pulled a strand of her blond hair and decided to start trying it on herself. "Frontis Allevatus," she spoke as she awkwardly held her ward to her face. Yeah, now she knew why people were looking for partners. She set down her wand and examined the strand of hair she'd cast the spell on. It did get blonder. Did that mean it had decreased the aging, which was the normal type in which she grew? Or was it just the light? Eeeh, It was hard to tell. Quote:
Her eyes settled on one of the young students. A ravenclaw. Now those were smart! She casually inched towards the girl who was practicing the spell. "Hi," Too bad she didn't know her name. Would have been useful. "Mind if I test the spell on you?!" She asked with a smile hoping that this one wasn't one of the antisocial ones who didn't like the older students talking to them or something. The sixth-year tried not to look too opportunistic since she really needed the wrinkles on the kid's face. Speaking of, that looked really off and Cassia felt her heart go to the girl. Yeah, she cared about looks that much. Had she been one of the people who were undergoing those changes she'd have gone nuts. |

Realizing she'd better answer soon, she gave out a soft, "H-Hi.." Could she test the spell on her? Josette had to admit, judging by the Professor's instructions, she wasn't feeling very confident to test it on herself just yet. So...could the older girl test it on her? Josette gave a small smile before she shaking her head. "No-No I don't.." Not at all. Practice away big lady! |

It was time to stop stalling and she knew it.Now she needed to find someone to practice on. Because she wanted a good grade in the class and she wanted to see if the charm worked. Or what the charm DID. And let's be honest, she wasn't really up for giving herself a facelift. That would be a calamity if she got it wrong. And she could only blame herself. Which sucked. And the fact that she was going to be the only child in Hogwarts with a facelift on a young face. Which would look weird when everyone else got their normal faces back. Because it was creepy to be about five foot six and look like Gandalf. Anyway, time to find the poor soul that was going to trust her with their face. ............................... Oh hey, look. Another young person! Maybe they could practice the spell on each other or talk about being young. Anything at this point. The redhead was getting bored. She smiled and put her wand on the table and walked over. Okay, so it miiiight not have been a real big smile and she might still get nervous asking other peers for things. That didn't matter much. What mattered was finding somebody. The redhead with the braid tapped the other girl on the shoulder. Hopefully that wasn't toooo rude. Because she wasn't trying to be. The Ravenclaw swore she wasn't. "Hello. Wanna work together? Not that we can do much." She laughed at her own joke nad looked at the other girl with her deep blue eyes. It was all part of Caelen's plan to non-creepily gauge a response. |

"Cool!" Because she agreed. Duh. "I'm Cassia by the way," she introduced herself as she brought her chair closer to the girl. She expected to learn the girl's name in return since they were partnering and all. The blond reached for her wand then glanced at the firstie. "You can see how I cast the spell then do the same," You know, working together and all. Might as well provide some benefit. Or weren't the eagles familiar with the line 'what's in it for me?'. She certainly hadn't heard it, yet. Raising her wand she smiled reassuringly since the tip of the wand pointed at the kid's face. Cassia would totally be freaking out if someone was going to test something on her face. She definitely knew what she was doing. Mhhmm. " Frontis Allevatus!" she spoke as she let her wand hover over the girl's cheek. Hmm.. Did it work. Holding up the mirror for her, the snake asked, "Do you see a difference? " She'd be a better judge since she was familiar with the wrinkles on her face, right? Right! |

...Was what her name again-OH WAIT! She cleared her throat before she spoke again. "M-My name's Josette.." Josette's attention now on Cassia as she watched her lifted her wand. After Cassia showed her how to do it, Josette could practice on her. It seemed very fair, especially since they were partners! Although, Josette had to admit...having someone point their wand at your face...was a little bit nerve-wracking. What if it didn't work? What if something else happened to her face? Like...what if the aging only increased faster?! WHAT IF- Josette gasped when she'd examined her cheek after she heard Cassia cast the charm. The wrinkles that she'd tried not to notice on her face..were practically non-existent! Josette smiled as she slowly brought her hand to her non-wrinkly cheek and looked at the older girl. She couldn't help but get excited, "I-It worked!" She'd almost forgotten what it was like to not see wrinkles on her face, even if it was just her cheek so far! Did this mean it was now Josette's turn to practice on Cassia? Wait...did she even need to rid of any wrinkles? She was already so pretty! |
Quote:
Cassia was glad the girl didn't look THAT scared of the wand pointed at her. She didn't look that relaxed either but that could be understandable. Last thing the Slytherin needed was someone distracting her when she already was a bit worried about messing up. Especially since Josette seemed to be very nice and not whiny. She'd want to make sure she didn't harm the girl's skin. At Josette's words, the sixth-year beamed! "That's great!" She said reaching out and touching the girl's cheek where the wrinkles were. She couldn't help it, really. It was quick, though. Hopefully the first-year wasn't going to flinch from her touch! "See, it's very easy. You should try it," she suggested. "You can test it on me or yourself," Or both. And she refrained from saying that the younger girl had more wrinkles than Cassia herself. You know, being considerate and all. |

"Me too, its kind of terrifying.... Is it, is it always like zis?" Justine asked, somewhat nervously to the older boy, she really hoped not, she didn't think she would like having some great misfortune to live through every term. "Try it on me? But, I 'aven't got any vrinkles," Justine said, tilting her head and frowning in confusion. She really had no idea that by doing this she was only highlighting the few wrinkles that marred her usually youthful countenance. Justine carefully watched Marcus as he performed the spell, she grinned as it seemed to work, the wrinkles were smoothed out and in their place was a clear, soft bit of youthful skin. "Oui, yes, it looks much better," Justine said, but a second later she wanted to eat her words, because both sides of the boys face wrinkled right back up. It was a little like watching a grape turn into a raisin. It wasn't enjoyable. "On second zhought.... Ve better try it again," Justine said, handing the boy a mirror. |

Not only could she NOT hear a thing Michael was saying, even after she stuck the tip of her wand inside her ears to try and clean them up so that she could, but once he slid the piece of parchment over towards her, she couldn't even see it. And she tried. Tried her hardest and everything. She held it away from her, then held it right under her nose, then she even tried to keep her eyes open as wide as she could, but nothing. The words were all a jumbled mess and her head was beginning to hurt from all the straining she was doing. Rhodes placed the parchment back down onto the desk, and picking up the quill, began to write back. She might've wrote over Michael's words, and all the letters might've been on a slant, but given her condition, she thought she was doing good. Quote:

"Maybe I could just... try it on some laugh lines. Can't hurt, right?" Mo patted along his cheek to see what was happening with his face, his shoulders sagging in disappointment when he found that the wrinkles were still there. Horrible. He pointed the wand at his face again, this time putting a lot more intent behind the spell. "Frontis Allevatus." That had to be better, right? "Tell me they're gone, please. Lie if you have to." |
Anna and Tessa Sander smiled at the younger Hufflepuff as he looked at himself in the mirror. "Thanks Anna. I have to admit that you did an awesome job on clearing up my skin. Thanks a lot for your help," ....then it was over to Tessa. SPOILER!!: Tessa Sander smiled lovingly at Tessa. "I trust you. I always will, " he admitted to her, as he cupped his hand over hers. He waited patiently as she cast the spell and when she offered the mirror for him to examine his face, Sander looked at his reflection before smiling back up at her. "This looks great, Tessa. Thanks. I guess it's my turn now huh," Sander leaned forward to study his girlfriend's face. No matter how many wrinkles she had, Sander saw past that to the beauty within her. No amount of wrinkles would change his mind about her. She would always be beautiful in his eyes. He touched her cheeks fingering the wrinkles there. "I'm going to work on these beauty lines," he smiled at her as he swished his wand over her cheek area and said the words to the incantation,"Frontis Allevatus." He breathed a sigh of relief when the lines began to smooth out and eventually fade away. "There you go. All done. Here have a look," Sander picked up his mirror and placed it up for Tessa to examine herself. |
Post five. Quote:
"Yes, laugh lines, zat might be easier," Justine said distractedly, her hand reaching up to her face, she felt her smooth cheeks, her unwrinkled chin and forehead, she didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, maybe she had been mistaken. "No, no, it's good now," Justine said, nodding in approval as the spell worked its magic and stuck this time. "You've got it, and I promise I'm not lying," Justine said, with a small laugh. |
Post 2 Benny continued to practice the incantation both in his head and outloud until he knew it very well. However he couldn't put off actually trying it out forever. The Gryffindor was sure of it. He just wasn't sure he was really sure of working it. At least not on others which he noticed several people in the class were themselves doing, probably to avoid having to use a mirror on themselves. It was a choice of one or the other and after mulling it over, he cemented his earlier thoughts of just trying it on himself, not trusting him on others or others on him. So taking a deep breath, he lifted the mirror so he could see himself and his various wrinkles. His wand firmly in his opposite hand to aim at one set of wrinkles or another. Ben picked a set on his cheek, keeping away from his eyes and mouth in case of dangers. ""Frontis Allevatus," he cast once he was ready, swishing his wand tip over the area. He had to fight the urge to close his eyes to avoid looking to see what happened and if he had failed or not. But it was only as he looked even closer with the mirror thast the second year spotted minor chances. Whew. At least they were for the better. |
