Post 1 A Face Lift Spell. But what about hair? Nigel might have needed a good face-lift. But he did not care about that. On the other hand, defying gravity did sound pretty awesome. Could he just use that part on his whole body and just float. IT would be better than a fizzing whizbee. Practicing the spell and actually using it. Sounded easy enough. The part but having to use it multiple times to make it actually work. Made it sound tedious and Nigel hated tedious work. "Fron-tiss....Al-eh-vay-tuss, Fron-tiss....Al-eh-vay-tuss" Maybe a Face lift is just what he needs. Positive Thinking. |
Post 2 SPOILER!!: Sander "You are a good Alex concentrated with all her might. She did not want to make a mistake on another person, least of all her best friend. Raising her wand, she pointed it at Sander's forehead. Giving the wand a swish, Alex said, "Frontis Allevatus" Almost afraid to look, she moved closer to Sander and peered at his face. "Smoother, whew", she said letting out a sigh of relief. |
Post 1 Why, of course Fuller would agree with everything they said. It was obvious they were all right. Most of the students weren't alright, however. As far as the spell goes, Lottie carefully nudged the mirror with her quill and pushed it a bit away. Well, she needed to take notes and it was on her way. So, she wrote what Fuller had written on the board and some of the words he'd said. This spell was now categorized as 'not entirely useful, but we'll see'. Practicing, though? Yeah, okay. It was a simple swish, so she made sure to write that down. And the incantation? Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss. Got it. "Frontis Allevatus, Frontis Allevatus." Mmmhmm. Two more times and she had the incantation all figured out. Wasn't really too complicated, anyway. It was perfectly clear she wasn't gonna practice on herself, there was no need. Now... on someone else... ...no, probably not either. |

Look okay as a balloon? Had she looked younger (thirteen to be specific) then yeah. But as an old lady? She'd rather not. "I bet," she said doubtfully, just to not burst Lux's bubble. "Anyway, d'you know anyone with wrinkles I can practice on?" That way she'd test her abilities on them first than on herself. Gotta be smart. Heh. |
Alex and Beverly SPOILER!!: Alex Sander chuckled at the mention of Botox. "I don't think I want to have that stretched fake look that I've seen who use Botox. The natural look is more my thing," Sander grinned back at Alex. He waited patiently for Alex to cast the spell and waited for the spell to take effect. He could feel the skin over his forehead tighten a little. Reaching up with his hand, he stroked his forehead. It felt smooth again...wrinkle free. Peering at himself in the mirror. Sander began to smile. His face was slowly changing back to how it looked the day before the aging effects started to present itself. "Well done, Alex. You did it," Sander congratulated his twin. He turned to see a Slytherin girl working with Lux. She looked like she needed help with her wrinkles too and though most of the wrinkles on his face had been smoothed out, Sander did have those on his neck. He waved over to the girl, and pointed to her and then himself. Did she want to work with him next? |
Post 1 Swish and facelift. Yes, that sounded about right for this geezer dilemma around Hogwarts. First she watched Professor Facial Hair doing the charm himself because he was very demanding about having every single pair of eyes on his face. And then he went ahead and did the swish and facelift white saying the spell. Okay, got it. Now, Schuyler's face wasn't all that pruney compared to some people's because she'd regularly taking potions, but this seemed like much less effort. So first things first. Proper pronunciation. "Frontis Allevatus," she said. And then she said it again. "Frontis Allevautus," with exaggerated annunciation. Not all that hard to say. She could move on to attempting the spell now, yeah? |
Sander SPOILER!!: Sander "Thanks", Alex said to her friend. And thank you for being my guinea pig." Knowing that Sander was working with several people at once, Alex posed a question. "Do you have time to take one quick shot at my face? I think I'm going to need a few tries to get these wrinkles in check.". Alex figured that she could seek out another partner after Sander had a turn. |
Text Cut: Sander Beverly almost sniggered at herself when a guy practically volunteered himself. How lucky was that? Normally she'd be all shy and wary, but the wrinkles on her face were more demanding than her nature. Nodding, she stood up and walked over to him. "Hi." What does she say, though? Can I test stuff on your skin? Too weird. "I see you have wrinkles and I need someone to practice on." Hint, hint. "Oh, I'm Beverly by the way." Introductions. Yes. |

Ella looked up from her mirror and smiled a little at her housemate, nodding. "Sander, yeah. We met at the opening feast." At least she thought they did. Memory was a little foggy these days, y'know. "That'd be--" But just like that, another classmate had swooped in and snatched Sander. This amused the Head Girl and she shrugged, not minding working by herself. "I'll just finish over here and if you still need extra practice, you can always come back." Because Merlin knew she didn't have the energy to move anywhere else. Anywhoo...practice, yeah? Yeah. Looking into the mirror again, the eighteen year old frowned slightly before bringing her wand towards her face again. And with a swish, she said clearly, "Frontis Allevatus!" Hopefully it worked this time. Worked better, that is. Ella picked up the mirror properly after placing her wand down and tilted her head to one side, than to the other. Then she leaned in REAL close to the mirror and SQUINTED. HMMMMM. Not bad, actually. Her face looked considerably younger which was a relief considering she was kind of tired of looking like an 85 year old. Just saying. She'd need to add this particular charm to her anti-aging arsenal. Yes, definitely. |

He hoped the boy was ready, because Bart was ready and he picked up his wand. "Yep you can try on my face again and again and again if you want." He didn't mind at all. It was his turn to try again though. So Bart started concentrating. Thinking about Bay's face being less wrinkled he would make sure of it this time. "Frontis Allevautus" He squinted and looked, "I think it worked this time." Yeah his face was looking less wrinkled!! "Alright your turn to do my face!" |
Post 3 Ugh! This was frustrating. Adi was getting nowhere with this spell. He paused a bit to watch the others, most of whom were successful already. Weren't they lucky? Sighing, the second year directed his wand back to his left eye. "Frontis Allevatus!" Annnnnnd swish the wand! Holding the mirror up, he checked out his eye area. Hey! The wrinkles were gone! Well, not all of it but some of it at least. Awesomeee! He'd try that again. "Frontis Allevatus!" Swish! Excitedly, Adi checked out his face again. More wrinkles had vanished. And even better, his face still looked normal. |
Post #1; anyone need a wrinkly person to practice the spell on? ... So... Alec was sort of behind. Why? Because he was thinking. With his head tilted, the boy had been staring at the board for quite some time. Was there really no way to fix this? Like... like with the ice cream? Couldn't they whip up a potion that took this away forever? He did want to go home looking less wrinkly and feeling like every other eighteen-and-a-half year old should do. ... Right. He had a spell to work on. Shaking his head, he reached over to grab his... ... erm...? Quill? Where have you disappeared off to? He couldn't make a start on the charm without making a note of the spell first. It was just... standard procedure, right? Right. Yeah. Of course. He patted his pockets, even took out his wand and placed that down on his desk but... nothing. A couple of seconds later, he mustered up enough energy to reach into his bag and-- Quill! Good. Don't hide again, yeah? After some squinting and making a quick note of the spell on the board, he placed his quill down to one side -- don't hide! -- before picking up his wand. Frontis Alle... what? Allevatus? "Fron... tiss... Fron... tiss... Fron... tiss... Frontis... Frontis..." That was right, right? "Al... eh... vay... tuss... Al... eh... vay... tuss... Allevatus... Allevatus..." Was that right? All together. "Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus..." And a swish of the wand. Easy wand movement was easy. What was not so easy was finding a partner. Did anyone need one? Should he get one? Erm...? |

post one Caelen sighed in frustration. But she didn't neeeeed a facelift. Well, maybe she could give herself a facelift anyway? She could look REALLY young for eleven? Like freakily young. Okay, times like this made her wish she actually had that thing where she was old. Not the irreversable part. But the actual able to give her opinions on the conversation. Or at least have SOME idea of what was going on here. Anyway, facelift. Was that going to work? Giving herself a facelifet, she meant. It would make her look freakily young, but it wasn't like that was the ONLY weird thign going on. Seriously. Almost eeeeveryone was old. It was akward being young now. Or she could just find someone who might let her practice the spell on them. A really trusting and possibly dumb soul. Or maybe she would just give herself the stupid facelift. Yeah whatever, she would just give herself a facelift. She didn't much like this class because she couldn't participate as much as she liked. So she was a little grumpy. And behind. Because she was busy being grumpy. But she had to practice the spell either way. Pouty face. Thinking of the spell, she puffed out her cheeks and tried to remember it. Because it was important to remember things. "Frontis Allevatus." That was the spell of course. Now with the actual wand. So that was happening. Time to practice a couple times. |

"awesome sounds good to me" he told Bart… but right now he was going to be a good little statue and let him try out his spell again.. hearing Bart say the words and telling him that his face was looking less wrinkled.. his hands went right for his face.. it did feel a lot smoother… "awesome man… it feels a lot better" he said while standing up.. "alrighty now my turn.. let see if I can make your face prettier" he said jokingly.. he was just hoping that he could turn his fellow lion's face back to normal-ish. "you ready?" he asked while letting Bart adjust.. taking out his wand he said "Frontis Allevatus" and swished his wand.. concentrating really hard on Barts face again he hoped it would have a better effect this time then it did the last. "Dude… I think I did it!!!" he said… was it horrible that Bay wanted to go over to touch Bart's face… it looked really smooth… but he thought that Bart might think he's really weird and like scream or something so Bay stood put. |
Post 1 Kace was listening the professor's lecture. So apparently the spell they were going to learn today, removed the wrinkles from your face. He nodded his head and thought that would be a useful spell to learn in the near future. Maybe he can tell him mom about it...she did seem to have some wrinkles. Anyways onto copying the spell into his notebook. SPOILER!!: Kace's Notebook He looked at the wand movement and it was a simple swish of the wand. He could do that. Now onto pronouncing the spell. This might be difficult. He began with... "Front-is All-e-va-tus......Front-is All-e-va-tus...Front-is All-e-va-tus..Front-is All-e-va-tus...Front-is All-e-va-tus....Frontis Allevatus....Frontis Allevatus...Frontis Allevatus..." He got the hang of the spell now. All he needed was to find a partner to practice it on. That might be a challenge. |

Casting aside the thought of puppies, the boy grinned over at his partner. "Hey Awar bear!" WAVE! "No no, partnering up sounds great."... But this meant that he had to get up as head over there, right? Or maybe sit somewhere closer to the girl. Oh te struggle. Picking up his journal, mirror and his seat -- these things were heavy! -- the Head Boy slowly made his way over towards the younger Hufflepuff. Slowly... ... slowly... ... Ah! There we go. Setting his things down, Alec sat down on his seat and grinned some more at Awar. ... Wait. She had bags and worry lines? "You're not stressed, are you?" It was all this schoolwork. Why, when he was her age, he was made to run laps every day and practice and keep up with everything else. Imagine! "And who wants to practice on the other first?" |
Alex and Beverly SPOILER!!: Alex Sander grinned back at Alex. "Of course I have time. I'm glad you trust me enough to work on your face. I'll try not to mess it up," he winked at Alex. Upholstering his wand, he leaned closer to examine Alex's face. He decided to work on her forehead. Swishing his wand over the wrinkles on her forehead, Sander chanted the incantation,"Frontis Allevatus," and watched as the wrinkles on her forehead began to stretch out and then smooth out. The lines on his twin's face were gone. Sander breathed a sigh of relief. Jokes aside, Alex would never know that he had actually been worried he would make a mistake. "There you go. I think I've got all of the wrinkles on your forehead. Thanks for agreeing to be my guinea pig, twin," Sander smiled gratefully down at his best friend. She was free now to help others. He turned to Beverly. SPOILER!!: Beverly Sander nodded and smiled in greeting. "Hi Beverly, nice to meet you. I'm Sander. I see that we're both in the same wrinkling predicament. I have some around my neck. That's a bad angle for me. Would you like to try removing it with the spell?" Sander asked Beverly, knowing that he was actually trusting his neck to a complete stranger. But he had seen Beverly perform in classes, and had every confidence that she'd do fine. |

Awar made a 'so-so' gesture with her hand, "Eh, a bit, but I've just had lack of sleep due to my aging dorm mates and their newly developed snoring abilities." She could swear that the whole room shook with every snore. "Why don't you go first since I don't have much to undo, yeah?" |
MICHAEL TOUSSAiNT Wrinkles DID suck. But something that sucked even more was not being able to hear a dang thing anyone was saying. Rhodes was perfectly fine with pretending to listen, because she wasn't in much of a mood to do anything else, but when the rest of the people in the room began moving their mouths, then shuffled around the room while waving their wands around like they just didn't care in other people's faces, pretending to know what was going on wasn't helping her any. She glanced around through squinted eyes, since hearing wasn't the only thing she was having trouble with, until she spotted a familiar looking blurry figure. Michael Whateverhislastnamewas. Surely he would know what was going on. And maybe she would be able to get him to do it for her. Rhodes gripped the top part of her desk, and finding it easier than walking, she began to scoot the whole thing over closer to the Gryffindor. Could she maybe put some wheels on it? Was there a charm for that? Squeaaaaaaak. Hopefully that was the desk and not her bones. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON?" She then waved her wand in front of his face, to pretend like she did. |
SPOILER!!: Bay Bart stood still so he could have his face done over again. Bay really seemed to know what he was doing so Bart didn't mind being on this side of his wand. He stood still waiting. Bay seemed to be ready quickly and did the spell. Did it work, did it? Oh he knew it did without even touching his face. It seemed tighter and younger feeling, but Bay confirmed it and he beamed. "That's so awesome." He grabbed one of the mirrors and looked, his face.. He could see him again, yes or well a bald him with a beard. "I think I might shave this beard if my face isn't going to look all weird, but I still have to figure out how not to be bald." He rubbed his head and thought, "Any ideas?" This was turning around, maybe he could look normal soon. |

Alec shouldn't have laughed and he knew that but he couldn't help it. Before he knew it, the chuckles had escaped his mouth and he was full on laughing . ... Yeah... maybe it wasn't that funny? "Sorry that you're not getting enough rest," He was done laughing. Now it was only semi-seriousness. "Maybe you can get some earmuffs. Or cast a silencing charm while your dorm mate's asleep?" ... Wait. No. That wasn't right. Don't do that last one without permission, Awarlesta. The idea of him going first? Alec nodded before sitting up a little. Just a little. "Okay, here goes!" He picked up his wand and cleared his throat. Was she ready? "Frontis Allevatus!" SWISH! ... Waiting. ... Pause. BLINK. SQUINT at the girl's face. "I... don't think anything happened." |
