Charms 2
 

It's a fine sunny afternoon and a perfect day for a lesson on Charms. When you walk into the classroom, the sun is shining through the windows that are opened just a crack to let in some fresh air. The classroom is set up normally; desks and chairs are in their proper rows and aisles. The black board is cleared off and Professor Fuller sits at his desk, happily awaiting the arrival of his darling little students.

.... Scratch that.

Professor Fuller is currently reclined back in his chair, his legs slung over the corner of his desk. His head hangs over the back of his chair and his mouth is hanging open. He's snoring, too. Oh, and is that drool? Yeah, that's probably drool. Was it time for class?

Sander shuffled into the Charms classroom and breathed in the fresh air. He looked around for the Charms Professor and was surprised to see him dozing in his chair. Sander wanted to walk up to him and wake him up, but decided that he would let the man doze a little while longer.

He figured that he'd give one of the badged ones the honor of waking their Professor when it was time.

Taking a seat, Sander pulled out his writing materials and textbook and placed them on his desk before sitting back and keeping an eye out for his friends. He hoped that they'd get here before class started.

Adi slooooooowly hobbled into the Charms classroom. He was seriously acquiring a cane like Ian had. No doubt it would make walking easier. He paused and looked around. Er...it looked like Professor Fuller was fast asleep.

But the other person in the room wasn't asleep. Adi hobbled over and plopped down in the seat next to the seventh year. "Hi, Sander,'' he whispered so as to not disturb the Professor. "How's it going?''

Disappointing.

Last lesson was awesome. Daydreaming and being able to lay down by a tree and nap for a couple seconds. Even though it was not real. It was still awesome. But this lesson was definitely not going to be as awesome. Unless he knew a natural way of curing grey hair. Then Professor Facial Hair would become a god to the Prefect.

Now Nigel had only one question.

If Professor Facial Hair could nap. Then could Nigel?

Not that Layla needed it or anything, but she was excited for this class. Probably because she knew she could very easily zone out and it really wouldn't matter.

A lot like the professor was currently doing. Although she wouldn't want to be caught snoring like he was. Very uncouth. But she kept silent as she found herself a seat and hoped that none of her rapidly aging classmates sat anywhere near her. They were honestly gross looking, did they know? If not, then they needed a mirror.

Also, the open windows? Nice touch.

Alex entered the Charms classroom and looked around. It looked lordinary.....or was it a beautiful meadow charmed to look like a classroom? Anyway, she noticed that Sander and Adi had already arrived and had taken their seats. She started walking toward them when she noticed the Professor, sleeping? Okaaaaay. Alex wouldn't have been surprised if Professor Fuller wasn't really asleep, but somehow secretly observing them.....again.

Reaching the seat behind Sander, Alex sat down. "Hi twin, hi Adi", she said as she settled in for the lesson. Who knew what they would be doing today.

Bart shuffled in to the classroom. Charms, what would they do this time? Hopefully he wouldn't be daydreaming any kissing in front of the entire class. That was just awkward and he didn't want to do it again. Stopping once in the room he looked around. No daydreaming going on just the class. It seemed it was going to be a regular class.

Seeing just a few students he looked around for the professor. Where was he. The one with face hair, was he playing hide and go seek again? Glancing towards the desk he noticed the professor. Was he sleeping? "ARE WE HAVING A NAP TODAY?" That would be awesome, but wait. They needed to learn things, right? "Hey professor!! PROFESSOR." He pulled out his wand and tapped at the desk. WAKE UP you have a class to teach dude! "Sir.. I think your mouth is leaking."

What kind of dream was he having?

When Cutty entered the Charms classroom he was greeted by the sight of drooling Fuller. This delighted him. One, because it was disgusting...at least a lil bit and two, because it meant that Fuller had fallen asleep and when he was woken up he'd be in that groggy state where people often said weird things and their hair was all about.

Cutty would've been happy to have done the work of waking their Charms Professor, but it seems that Maroon had taken on the duty himself. Excellent. Time to take a seat.

Another charms class, he remembered briefly they did a day dreaming charm in the last class. That was a lot of fun. He even remembered doing the homework with Adi, he dreamed of unicorns going to candy mountain. No shame there. Who didn't like majestic unicorns?

As he made his way to the classroom, he was about to say his greeting with, "Hello...." but he noticed the professor was asleep. He didn't want to wake him since he knew he hated when he was woken up from his naps. He smiled and chuckled and went to go to his seat. He wondered why the professor was so tired. He even noticed the drool on the front of his shirt.

If Mo wasn't in enough pain from climbing the stairs that he needed to sit down as soon as he got into the classroom, he probably would have taken this beautiful opportunity to harass the aging and more-decrepit professor. Merlin, his mouth was hanging open... it was basically an invitation.

Instead, he propped his chin on his hand and watched for Caterina. It was Fuller, so Cat would be here. Maybe she'd bring cupcakes and not give him any. Sad boyfriend. Wait, wasn't class supposed to be happening about now?

Bay walked into the classroom expecting something cool like last time..but nope.. he spotted the Professor and was about to say hi when Bay took a closer look.. "oh is the Professor sleeping.. do i get to do that too?" he thought while seeing if anyone else was going to wake the Professor… no one else was around him so he thought he should let him be.

hearing his name he spotted a group of people.. Lux, Adi, Alex and Sander. walking up to them he said his hello's " hey guys.." he beamed while instantly putting his hand on Lux's shoulders, standing behind her.. "hey wheres Tessa or Louis?" he might as well ask.. "anyone see Tessa and my Roomate??" he laughed while standing with his group of friends.

Charms...

Maybe it was because she'd been avoiding people...but Vesper wasn't aging nearly as fast as the others. Now, this didn't mean that she wasn't aging rapidly, of course. She was...but charms...Well, charms were great and someone had given her this awesome lotion...

Her knees were trembling with pain and soreness when she finally stepped into the Charms classroom, shooting a tired look around the room. Professor Fuller! HE was sleeping at his desk...but that didn't matter. The man was still beautiful despite the drool on his face.

Sighing, Vesper parked herself at a nearby desk and pulled her notebook and pencils; intending to sketch him until he woke. Why not? Surely, the good Professor wouldn't care...

Louis looked a bit unlike himself that afternoon. The Gryffindor boy was usually always well-dressed, hair combed, and shirt ironed. Today? Today he looked like he had just rolled out of bed. Which he quite literally did. If it hadn't been for Bay sending him a message, the boy wouldn't have woken up from his much-needed nap until at least another three hours.

With his shirt only half tucked-in, hair messy, and books threatening to slip from his arm, Louis walked into the room. "Good afternoon, Profes--" he stopped abruptly as he heard the loud snoring.

Oh?
Oh.
Better not bother him then.
Slowing his steps, Lou quietly made his way over to his best mate, dumping his bag on the floor by the chair next to Bay's and his books on the desk. "Hey mate, thanks for saving me a seat," he said, flashing his friend a smile before turning to Lux. "M'lady. Looking lovely today, as always." He bowed as loyal squire before proceeding to take a seat. He spotted Sander nearby and waved at the boy. He wondered vaguely why his girlfriend wasn't there with him, but that was none of his business.

"Hey," he nodded at Kace who was there too, and gave a little wave to Alex who he didn't really talk with, but had met at Sander's mansion.

Upon entering the Charms classroom Beverly had anticipated an interesting beginning to the lesson, but all she got was a sleeping, slobbering professor and a very loud Bart. Was the kid always like that? Or was her hearing sensitive again?


Tapping her ear and with an achy and tired body, she sat at a desk at the front and let her bag fall on the table with a THUD. Then she turned to Bart. "Won't you let the man sleep? He must be terribly exhausted." She shot Fuller a gentle look, the kind of affectionate look a grandmother would give their grandchild while they napped.

Y'know, 'cause she was old-looking and stuff. She totally pulled it off.

Her knees hurt like they'd been bludgeoned a million times each when she reached the classroom. Alice was certain that she'd collapse right there in the doorway, but she somehow managed to make it to a desk. It wasn't in her usual spot, but whatever. She'd rather have to adjust to a new view of the board than move more, yeah? Yeah.

And if Fuller was going to sleep, did that mean she could, too? Because even though the seventh year had only woken up recently, she was exhausted.

Which meant nap time. Head down.

Sander breathed a sigh of relief when students began entering the Charms classroom. For awhile there he thought that he had the time wrong...hence the reason why Professor Fuller was catching a couple of zzzs.

First to stroll in was the second year, Adi. Sander smiled at him and waved, "Hey Adi. How's it going?"

....and next to follow was Alex, his name twin.

"Hey Alex, how's it going?" Sander smiled over to the Ravenclaw as she sat down in the desk near him.

....and next to follow was Lux, another Hufflepuff.

"Hey Lux. Have you seen Tessa, Louis and Bay?" Sander asked the younger girl, as she sat down next to Alex.

....and talking about Bay. Here he was strolling in....looking as tired as he looked.

"Hey Bay, did you fall asleep on your way up here?" Sander grinned at his young Lion friend. "No I haven't seen either Tessa or Louis. I hope they haven't overslept," Sander frowned as he looked over at the classroom's entrance. He was getting worried not having seen Tessa since the dance.

....well at least, Louis didn't oversleep because he was now.

"Hey Louis, glad to see you here. Well it looks like the whole gang is here except for Tessa. I do hope she'll get here before class starts. What do you think we're going to learning today. An anti-aging spell?" Sander asked his friends.

He was still tapping the desk with his wand so the man would wake up. Really they had class and awesome spells to learn. Why was he just sleeping? Was he having old people issues too? Bart squinted at the man, did he look aged. Wow was it tie to owl for glasses. This was getting ridiculous!

Then he heard a sound beside him and turned to see Brynny. "WHAT? WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Why was she so quiet? He couldn't read lips. He wasn't a child anymore he wasn't there to play games. So she needed to use her big girl voice and talk. Turning to hear Beverly he shook his head, "What? Let him spit? I'm not sure the man likes his mouth leaking. He could have a hex or something that made his mouth leak. We really should make sure he's fine, plus we need to learn."

He turned back to the professor. "Hey Professor Charms Man... You need the healer?"

Okay, so maybe Charms wasn't Hayley's favourite subject, but she did like it. It was way more fun than Transfiguration and way easier to keep up with than Defense Against the Dark Arts. Not that she didn't like those two, they were just... hard. Anyway, there was Charms and Hayley was going for it. She'd never missed a class yet, nope.

The thing was that when she got there, the professor was asleep. Fast asleep. Was that drool? She supposed that a greeting would be pointless, so she just slipped into her seat wordlessly and started doodling on a piece of scrap parchment.

Christmas walked into the Charms classroom and smiled to herself as she saw that the professor was fast asleep and quickly took a seat and waited for the lesson to start she wondered what they were going to learn today
