Tessa stretched as she walked back towards the castle from her own Quidditch practice session. She needed to stay sharp and she couldn't just wait for the Gryffindor try-outs to train. It had been a good work-out, she was quite proud to say.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a loud "CUCUMBER". She knew that voice and nickname anywhere. She turned, looking for the source and grinned when she saw Bay and Lux with a few other students. Tessa wandered over, running her fingers through her windblown hair to at least look presentable.

"Bay, I could hear you across the grounds," she teased, indicating where she had just come from. "Hello all," she said, settling down with the group.

Shooting each other out of the sky in Astronomy why did he miss that lesson. They never would have done that at his other school. He blinked, "You guys shot each other out of the sky? Wow, I really missed the good stuff last term." Why did he insist on going to school in Italy last term. Why.

But the thoughts stopped when the last part he heard the bit about riding him around the lake. He laughed. "That would be awesome though." It would be now Asher wanted to add this to his seventh year bucket list. He would be doing this by the end of term.

Lux nodded as she committed Silver's name to memory. It was a nice name, though she had never heard of anyone named Silver before. "So what Year are you in?" she asked curiously. The girl did not appear to be much older than her.

Hearing someone join them, Lux turned happily to see her friend Tessa. "Hey, Super Tessa! How was the Quidditch session?"

It was a very nice day for exploring. "Why yes.. yes it is." and oh goody a new friend for Cucumber. "Awesome new friends for all." looking around he saw more students enjoying the weather outside.



"Oh hey Tessa.. yeah I was yelling.. i guess the wind carried it across the grounds" he said. Bay noticed Tessa's hair and couldn't help it and put his hand on top of her head and messed up her hair more. "Really windy eh" he said laughing, and getting out of her way.



He was really happy that Cucumber was making new friends. He just stood there and let the girls talk.

Tessa grinned at the nickname, shaking her head with a smile. "It went well- I was just training on my own, but no injuries, so that's a win," she teased, settling down next to them. "Don't worry, I didn't take too many risks," she said with a smile.

"I was teasing Bay," she said with a grin to the boy. "Oi! Hey!" she said, swatting his hands away gently. "I just got all of the hairs laying right," she joked, running her fingers through her hair to bring it back. She glanced up and grinned to see that the colors were still looking good. She wouldn't have to dye them for awhile- granted it had been a spell she had dyed them with. She may never have the dye them again.

"Well, when you're flying around on a broom, it does tend to get windy," she shot back with a laugh.

Lux laughed when Bay messed with Tessa's hair and then proceeded to tease her about it. "I think the windswept look is very in and fitting for Superheroes." They spent a lot of time flying around, so she was sure their hair got messy a lot!

"I wish I could play Quidditch, but I'm too scared to fly." The last part was almost a whisper.

"'Elcome." Cat replied, or tried to since she'd just put a pear slice in her mouth. Oops. She was still pondering on grape flavor cupcakes and nodded eagerly at Delilah's question, though. She swallowed carefully before speaking again. "I do have a taste tester. He was the first one to try my maple bacon, brown sugar and cream cheese cupcakes." She was super proud of that recipe. "That got me into an awesome culinary program in Paris this summer." So, she probably owed Aidan more cupcakes for that, right?

Cat looked out at the lake too, squinting. "Have you been sitting here long? Spotted any merpeople?" She desperately wanted to try out what little Mermish she'd managed to learn.

"We had these big wax wings, and we used sunlight to burn the wings and send each other into the water. It was cool." It was pretty awesome, but Mo wasn't going to admit that when he was still pretty peeved at Airey for flirting with Professor Pretty.

"But yeah... it would be awesome to go for a ride. I just haven't figured out if you'd need a saddle or a binding charm, and how to get him close enough. What do squids eat, anyway?" Mo thought they could try fish, but he didn't want to go feed Mr. Henry and end up as dessert.

Now it was time to have some fun. Lot's of fun. People around here were just to good for his liking. Maybe they just needed someone to start the fun and that dude Kaiden helped him. He gave him the water balloons needed for this epic good time. It was going to be epic too. Look at all the students enjoy the lake. It was a warm day why not cool off a bit.

He moved towards a tree and pulled out the blue bra he had in his pocket. Bra girl wasn't around pity she could see for herself what a great way to use her underthings. Finding a branch to help him out he slung one strap over it and then pulled out the balloons. Pointing his wand in each of them he did an Aguamenti charm.

Getting wet as he tied the balloon which didn't phase him it was worth it or would be. Now could he do two at once? Looking to the bra of course he could. Placing one in each side he held the other strap with his hand and stretched the bra back as far as he could.

"IN COMING"

He let it go and watched as the balloons went flying. Did they hit anyone, did they? He put two more in and let them fly and then two more.

This was fun!

Oooh. The Lake was pretty. Grace smiled as she wandered down to it. It was pretty. But it looked cold. She'd heard that people swam in it, but she was pretty sure that she wouldn't swim in there. She didn't want to get cold. That wasn't fun. She hummed to herself, as she stopped by the shore. Ooh. She knew who she could do. Bending down she picked up a couple of stones, and began throwing them into the lake. Trying to make them skip. Apparently she wasn't too good at that thought. Cause they just went into the water with a plop. Hmm. Not good.

She pouted, bending down to pick another one, and threw it into the lake. Plooop. Okaay. Maybe she wouldn't do this anymore.

Kace was walking around. He wanted to explore Hogwarts again. He smiled and loved being near the black lake. He breathe in the air and walked over to the edge. When he was sitting around taking in the quiet because it was never quiet at his home. He heard a girl crying. He frowned and went over and knew who it was.

Awwww....he went over and put his hand on her shoulder. "Hey..." he said softly. "Are you feeling okay?" he asked kindly.

Melek jumped and almost went into the lake when a hand went onto her shoulder. Mel glanced up as the voice spoke. A small and weak smile came to her lips at who it was that was talking to her. "Oh... hey..." Shame and embarrassment shone on her wet face as she wiped at it. [B]"Yeah... I am fine... as fine as one can be..." Melek glanced back down then scooted, to give him room if he wanted to sit down and join her, Mel glanced at the lake and weakly started to swing her legs again. She was happy that Kace was by her and talking to her but she just missed her friend... if they were still friends, that is.

Tessa laughed at Lux's comment. "Well, thank you Cucumber," she said, giving her friend a quick hug. "We super heroes don't always have the time to fix our hair between saving the world, especially pygmy puffs, and spending time with friends," she joked with a laugh.

Those words were the only warning Tessa had. But, given her Quidditch reflexes of catching Quaffles and dodging Bludgers, it wasn't too surprising that she was able to get out of the way of the water balloon in time.

"Oi!" she exclaimed, looking around for the source of the water balloons, a slow smile spreading on her face. "If you're going to start throwing those, you had best share ammo with the other side!" she called out, stifling laughter.

Asher was truely beginning to regret not being here last term. Just from the way that one lesson sounded. At least he had these fun lessons to look forward too. "That sound's so cool." It did. He couldn't wait to find out what the lessons were going to be like.

These questions of how to go about doing this crossed his mind too, "You'd think a good binding charm would work." He nodded, it might be a little difficult to get a saddle around him. But not as hard as getting a hold of him "Now getting a hold of him would be the hardest part. I have no clue, maybe fish?" Or humans if they get to close?

"Oh, come on, Gus! Just this once!'' Adi begged his toad as he walked towards the Lake. He was holding Gus in both of his hands, with the toad facing him so he was looking into its huge toady eyes. "I've had you for weeks and you just croak a few times but never the alphabet.''

Adi stopped, not bothering to take in the beauty of the Lake or not caring much for anyone around. "Did that adoption dude lie, Gus? They said Sophie's cat could stare for hours and well even though I didn't get to test it for hours, it sure seemed like Knox could just stare and stare.'' The second year knew Gus couldn't answer but it was fun talking to him all the same. He set the toad on the sand trusting it won't hop away and he finally looked around. The Lake was one of Hogwarts's feature.

Kace took the spot she made for him. He did not like seeing people cry. "Heyy Melek.." he replied to her. Then when she said she was fine, he didn't really believe her. "Yeah you are totally fine...i mean i see the tear tracks down your cheeks." he said wiping them off her cheek. "Do you wanna talk about it?" he ask her.

Melek sighed and blushed in embarrassment though butterflies came to her stomach when he wiped at her tears. She tried to push the butterflies down because she knew that Kace probably would never think of her that way and that was totally fine. Melek didnt need a guy... she was only 13 and not girly at all... "ummm I splashed some water on my face and made it trail?" A chuckle came after that, to show that she wasnt serious about that reason. Mel sighed and looked down, "I think I am losing my best friend... Annaleecia and I have a fight at the feast..." A sigh escaped her lip and she chewed on her thumbnail.

So, Airey had learned a little something this morning while he had been on his hands and knees delinting the office with a lint roller. Ferrets and bass did not get along. Namely Hershel had taken a keen, TOO keen, interest in Tiberius and had nearly knocked over the fish tank while Airey had let the creature out for some running.

Which was also very counter productive since Hershel tended to shed fur. Shudder.

So, the ferret was now in its muggle telephone booth cage in his office while Airey had left Tiberius safe and sound in the laboratory.

The astronomer now found himself by the Black Lake with the sole purpose of getting some fresh air. Perhaps even a little bit of a jog would be in order. He could simply transfigure his suit into a track suit for such purposes. Since his back had been feeling better recently he had decided to up the anty a bit with exercise. Keep his already unusually high energy levels up.

Approaching the edge of the lake, Airey looked at the water and remembered with a reluctant fondness the day that Tiberius had come flopping up on to the shore. He bent over to pick up a particularly smooth rock to skip and was completely unaware of the water balloons heading in his direction.

It wasn't as if Alice had been following the professor or anything. She'd just happened to be near his office and see him exit it and follow him and end up by the lake with him. Totally coincidental.

Airey loved her anyway, though, so it didn't matter that she was intruding upon his free time, right? Right? Right.

"Hi professor," she greeted cheerily, as oblivious to the water balloons as he was. "Whatcha doing?"

Just as Airey was about to toss his stone, the voice of a certain Gryffindor startled him and instead of it skipping its way across the surface of the water like a pro, it fell beneath its surface with a dull klunk.

Before he could express his displeasure about this with some sort of potentially inappropriate astronomy related slur, he turned his attention to see just who the culprit was and found himself grinning instead. "Ah, Miss Fischer, pleasure to see you out and about," he greeted. "I was just thinking about ta-----"

*SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK*

A water balloon hit the professor right in the face. It broke instantly on contact, soaking his top half while he stumbled backwards a step or two out of surprise. *SPLASH* Left shoe in the water.

Kace knew what he was doing and he apologized. "Oh i am soo sorry that was rude of me to touch you without asking..." he grinned and then looked down at his feet that were barely touching the water. Then she made the moment not so awkward and he chuckled. "I am sure you splashed some water on your face.." he played along.

Then he heard her story and he listened and nodded. "Oh i am sorry to hear that. Do you know how the fight got started?" he asked trying to get the details before he made an opinion.

Kace turned his head because he heard a splat coming from somewhere. He noticed Professor Airey get hit with a water balloon. He called over and asked while chuckling, "YOU OKAY PROFESSOR?"

He gave Tessa a small wave she was laughing that was good. "Why would I give my targets fuel. Nope this is my attack." He laughed and looked to his other balloons. "I can send another one to you if you want though." Pulling the blue bra back he set it flying at her.

SWOOOOOSH


Through the air it went.

Third Balloon was going through the OH NO was that pretty coming right near the balloons. The balloon hit professor from the street. "Sorry professor cool dude I did yell in coming though." See he warned people they were coming at him didn't he hear?

Pulling back the blue bra again he set two more balloons in and pulled back. Pretty wasn't wet yet and she might want to join in the fun. Plus this could give her a start to see how his aim was for you know quidditch reasons.

"FIRE"

Sending the balloons off toward them sailing quickly through the air.

Oh and Tessa

can't forget her, he turned and pulled back again picking up another water balloon.

"FIRE"

Did his balloons hit their target?

Gosh this place was so big! And Brynn felt like she had all the freedom in the world, her mother not being here to keep a tight reign on her. She could go pretty much where she wanted.. though she still had limits within the gates of Hogwarts. And a curfew too she was pretty sure. But this was much more than she was used to.

Eager to explore, the small redhead took to the grounds, practically skipping towards the lake. Though she did slow down significantly before she got too close to it. She still did not like its foreboding presence and did not want to be reminded of the boat ride even if it did all turn out okay. In fact, as she walked slower, she did not look in the direction of the lake at all.

Brynn's thoughts were running a mile a minute about where she should go next and what she could do there and what classes would be like and if any of her new friends would be in there. And she soon became lost in thought, relatively unaware of her surroundings until...

SPLAT!

"AAAHHHHH!" Brynn let out a scream as something hit her square in the back of the head, sending water down her back and drenching her with very cold water. What just happened?! "Who did that?" She whipped her head around, looking for the culprit.

Melek looked at him with a half smile, "Its fine, Kace... Im just not used to getting touched on my face... or on my arms or anything... my parents arent very lovey dovey so the most they do is pat me on the head like a dog but then again Annaleecia tries to get me to hug her a lot it seems..." Mel sighed and gave an awkward chuckle. She nodded, "Yep, totally splashed my face." Melek gave a wink and giggled, starting to smile a little more. Mel liked hanging out with Kace. He cheered her up. She shrugged, "Im not really sure... we started arguing about who knows what... and she said that she was surprised that i wasnt in slytherin because I am rude... so I kinda got really mad and i threw a goblet at her... but I didnt mean to and i feel really sorry for it and... and..." She started to break down and cry again. Her hands flew up and covered her face as the tears came trailing down her face. Her crying didnt let her hear the professor thing.

More people! The party was just getting better and better!

"Hi!" Silver smiled and wave at the new girl who had approached them.



Silver continued with her big and bright smile.

"I'm a third year Gryffindor!" She beamed, there was so much pride in her voice.



Silver's tummy started rumbling. Rubbing her stomach she looked at Bay and smiled. "Well like this isn't fun and all, but I'm a little hungry. I'll see y'all later." She smiled and waved at them all.

"Bye Bay." Silver slowly made her away, away from the crowd and was now headed towards the kitchens.
