Directly below the Great Hall is the Hogwarts kitchen, complete with five tables identical to and directly below those of the Great Hall. Numerous house elves have returned and are busily working, always working, on the castle's next meal. They're surely willing to serve you a snack though, if you ask politely enough.
OOC: Please do not RP for the House Elves! We have a lovely group of actual elves who would love to RP with you if you will please be patient.

Team baking? YUP.
Ella had already done a lot of the work, honestly. She'd mixed up some sugar cookie dough and organized the nearest table with a ridiculous assortment of cookie cutters, careful not to get in the way of the house elves. Baking sheets were set to the side as well so that the cookies could go into the oven as soon as they were ready. She'd also organized some different colored frosting on the counter behind her as well as set out some sprinkles. See? Everything they could need to make the best cookies ever! Grin. Would Kurumi be proud or what?
Wiping her forehead with the palm of her hand, the blonde was unaware of the flour that had been streaked there. She then leaned back against the counter and picked on some of the cookie dough happily, waiting for the others to arrive.
Before Tag could blink Charlie was already grabbing ingredients to make this pasta. Hey, at least they were actually going to be productive in the kitchen. But eating in the kitchen would just be productive, though, nothing was better than actually making your own food and eating it. "Pasta, alright!" Tag said cheerfully as he punched the air. Favorite kind? Oh dear. Tag could probably go on forever, but he came to his senses because he didn't believe there were ingredients to make lasagna here. "Spaghetti or fettuccine will do just fine!" He answered her, as he started moving around pretending to be looking for stuff.
Oh, one thing he could do was wash his hands. His dad always stressed that whenever Tag had cooked with him. "Yeah, Scotland. I forgot my train of thought there. So, that would explain my extreme confusion. Double confusing people. We're in Scotland but not in Scotland. Double hidden identity." He said with a smirk.
Soooooo "Are you going to make the sauce or pasta?" The little blonde dude would be okay with whichever she decides.
Charlie was glad that Tag was good with pasta, because she'd already pulled out three different kinds and was now looking for other ingredients. Tomatoes. Peppers. Garlic. Onions....
They could do a simple tomato sauce, right? Quick and easy, because the thought was making her hungry now. "Great," she grinned, tossing the packet of fettuccine toward him, before running a bobble into her hair, and joining him at the sink to wash her hands. "Double hidden identity sounds accurate," she laughed, shaking her head a little. "Next it'll be Hogwarts but not Hogwarts. The Earth but not the Earth. That would make our location quadruple confusing."
And that was probably something they could do without. Ahem. "I'll make the sauce?" Maybe she should have asked him for his preference, before she started washing vegetables.

Because personally, she still liked doing things the non-magic way. At least in the kitchen.
Following the Gryffindor over to the counters, Olly watched as she pulled a whisk out of one of the drawers. Her eyes returned to Schuyler's face, however, when she spoke. And poked her stomach. "Well, we can improvise." With that she reached on a shelf behind Schuyler for a colander. With a smirk she moved a little closer so could place it on the other girl's head. "There you go." It would have to do for now. Though, Olly made a mental note to buy (?) some chef hats for next time.
It would definitely suit Schuyler.
Yes, pancakes. "We need a bowl." At this she looked at Schuyler expectantly, nodding and waiting for her to get one. In the meantime she could get the ingredients.
This was where the magic happened. Schuyler ignored the fact that magic happened in this entire school every day, and grinned over at her friend. Maybe kitchen magic was a different kind of magic. Yes. It must have been. A branch that was foreign to the Gryffindor here. But soon that wouldn't totally be the case.
Well, look at that. The whole chef hat thing was a no-go for today, but Olly didn't disappoint. Nope, she was resourceful.... meaning that she found a new hat - or more of a helmet - for Schuyler in that large bowl thing with the little holes in it. It balanced on her head and wobbled slightly as she peered up at it with a wide, pleased smile. "I love it!" Really, between the two of them, they were quite good at 'improvising.' "But you still need one.." So, naturally, Schuyler moved to look through a couple of the cabinets, and it didn't take her long to find some sort of metal pot with a black handle on it. She plopped it carefully onto the other girl's head and stood back a little to examine her. Yes. Better. And she even gave a nod of approval. "Lovely. It's an improvement." heh.
Now that the cooking hats were taken care of, looks like they were down to business. Right.. they needed supplies and stuff. She took Olly's comment as a cue to go get a bowl and, conveniently, she had seen one in the same cabinet from which Olly's helmet came. So back to the cabinet she went, and she grabbed the bowl before setting it down on the counter. Easy peasy. She was good at this so far.

The prospect of possibly having to crack open eggs didn't seem to falter the grin that was spreading across Alec's face as he headed down to the kitchens. Why? Look at how AWESOME his apron was! It was pretty lucky that there weren't many people walking between the Hufflepuff barrels and the portrait of the fruit bowl otherwise he was sure he'd have bumped into someone and gone on to upset them. ... Maybe.
Tickling the pear, the boy headed into the kitchens and looked around. ... Oh? Just the Captain? Was he early then or...? And the others were coming, right? Because baking sounded like it'd be a lot of fun! ... Egg-cracking aside. And maybe this was a good opportunity to stay back and make some pancakes if he felt hungrier. Pancakes with extra honey. He hadn't made some of those in a while.
Also. Captain Girlfriend had flour on her forehead, did she know?
Amused, the boy headed over towards her, grabbing a kitchen towel in the process. "Hey, Captain!" he said, dabbing at her forehead with the towel, "Where are the others?" ... Not... that he was suggesting she had gone all Ellasaurus on them and scared them off. ... Had she? HAD SHE?!

Ahhhh! Charlie! Tag was not prepared. The second she tossed the box to him a half scared half amused look spread over Tag's face and he fumbled with the box and barely caught it by his finger tips- the box nearly touching the floor. She was too quick for him. He went to find a cooking pan, put some water in it and waited for the water to boil. Step one done.
"Ohhh. Are we even gonna be in school if its not really Hogwarts?!" That actually sounded kind of fun. Not being at school. But Tag liked exploring the castle- so there was that. Ok. He wanted the castle but not the actual school part of Hogwarts. "So, are we even actual people?" All the questions Charlie. All the questions. "The questions of the universe. The world may never know."
"Yeah, good. I'll just cook the pasta." Tag said with a nod, as he watched little bubbles starting hitting the surface of the water. Boy, that was a long process. "What type of sauce? Though, I'm good with any type of sauce, to be honest."

LOL. If Ella thought she was going to help them bake...well, then. Lottie wasn't, FYI.
But she'd still join in, because she was kind of hoping Tobias would be here. She knew Alec would come, always. If Tobias didn't, then at least she'd have...what? Cookies? Not like she couldn't get them somewhere else, but whatever. She was here, happy? And she was smiling, so that was definitely a plus, Captain!
"Hi, Ella," she smiled, taking a seat, she really wasn't going to help, was she? Maaaaybeee if Alec asked nicely. We'll see. Maybe not. "Hi Seeker!boy!" BEAMS FOR YOU. ALWAYS.
This is probably the part where you ask: Is there something I can do to help?

Boyfriend!
He got a huge smile from Ella and curious looks for the towel. What was he-? BLINK. He was cleaning her? "Hi, Alec!" He was really close, did he know? Like REALLY close. It wasn't fair at all. "I'm sure they're on the way. Erm...what are you doing, exactly?" Confused Ella was confused. And wanted kisses. She liked his apron too. So much so that she tugged on it gently. "Superman." GRIN.
And then there was a Lottie. Okay.
"Hey, Lottie." Small smile for the brunette. Noticed the enthusiasm for the boyfriend too. Mhm. And the lack of helping. Ella inched away from Alec and went to grab a rolling pin, anxious for something to do.
"I'm going to start rolling out the dough." She didn't even know why she'd announced that but she felt it was necessary so...yeah. The others would be here soon, right?
Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something...
Minerva walked into the kitchen there was a cookie baking badger party, right? She was pretty pumped about. The seventh year always enjoyed baking cookies and passing out cookies, this time she had company. "Alec maybe you can try the eggs this time." She chuckled as she walked in to see a small group of badgers had already started forming. "Hey guys!" she gave them all waves.
Pulling her wand she stopped seeing Ella with dough, [b] "Oh dough part already done? Well that makes things easier." Re holstering her wand it seemed they were doing things muggle way, which actually was even better in her book when cooking or baking. "So what can I do?" She looked to each of them noticing the aprons, "Cool aprons guys." She didn't have one, maybe she should. She was in the kitchen enough.

So back to the cabinet she went, and she grabbed the bowl before setting it down on the counter. Easy peasy. She was good at this so far.
Giving Schuyler an 'of course you do' look when she said she loved her new 'chef hat', Olly looked her over once. Yes, she was ready to go. Ready to learn how to cook. Naturally, the chef de cuisine - aka Olly Clarke - needed something on her head as well. Bowing her head slightly to give the Gryffindor better access, Olly straightened up again when the other girl took a step back. Good, yeah? Should she pose?
"Hey!" That wasn't very nice! And it earned Schuyler a slap on the colander she was wearing, making it wobble some more.
Possibly hitting her forehead a little.
Once she'd gotten the necessary supplies, Olly placed them on the counter and looked them over. Flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, salt. Yes, seemed they had everything. "Now, put one and a half cups of flour-" She indicated the flour with her hand, sending a small smirk at Schuyler. This is flour."-into the bowl. Then add a tablespoon of baking powder-"This."-a teaspoon of sugar and just a liiiittle bit of salt."Sugar is this. Salt is that.
Yes, she was just going to watch. Schuyler could do the work. Olly was going to sit here on the counter and make sure she did everything right.
It would've been a lot easier if he'd used a knife, but then how else could one improve upon ones magic if not by practice. "Flipnsnipwitit!" He casted on a peeled banana. His slices, he thought, appeared to be getting neater and after repeating the charm until the fruits were chopped to his liking Cutty set about to drying enough that he never got the charm incorrect.
"Siccus Aerous!" The circular wand motions were followed by a waving over several apple chunks each in turn. Cutty phialed them letting them make the clinkety-clink noises when the hit the bottom of the glass bottle and bounced until still inside of it. "Siccus Aerous!" He repeated on one banana chip.
Then wondering if it need be done only one at a time, Cutty cleared the space around the sliced banana and tested this idea. "Siccus Aerous!" This time he waved his wand over the entirety of the fruit and watched it not so much shrivel as stiffen up. He took a piece, one in the middle, to test it by popping it into his mouth. It had worked! And he was going to impress his crazy teacher by the time of their next class. Aww yiss!
He finished eating and scooped up the remainder of the fruit into his phial and went up to the owlry to turn in his assignment.
Nope, okay there weren't any undesirables here. Just the elves, and Hufflepuffs. And they were the ones he happened to like. Stepping in quietly, he let the door shut behind him, and walked towards his teammates. "Er, hey... is there... something I can do?" Eat cookie dough maybe? Sit on the counter? something?

Only it probably wouldn't be but so long as his father never found out then all was good. And why he was thinking about getting cavities and what his father would do if he found out that his son was gorging on sugary foods, Michael had no idea so he gave himself a shake and focused back on Alexa.
"What's wrong with sprinkles?" He thought that they would give the chocolate frogs a little bit of colour. "Don't frogs usually have spots on them?" Or was he thinking of something else?
WHIPPED CREAM!!
IN A CAN!!
Michael moved closer to her with a wicked gleam in his eye and picked up the can. "I've always loved this stuff." he said, giving the can a shake and in one quick motion he pulled off the lid, turned the can so that it was facing Lex and pressed the nozzle down.
Lex began packing the things onto the counter next to the sack of sugar. Even if they didn't end up using it to make the frogs she wouldn't pass up a chance to be so close to such a large supply of sugar. It was so beautiful. Could she walk out of here with it all? Would the elves mind, even if she asked nicely?
What he said pulled her from her sugar admiration. Lex actually didn't know much about frogs unless they were the kind already made of chocolate so she simply shrugged. Mikey would have to know best in this situation. "I guess so. They'll be nice and colourful by the time we're done with them!!--"
Clearly the younger Gryffindor was a fan of whipped cream. His eyes said it all and his quick movements only served to confirm it.
"I love it too!" But that was all she managed to get out before it was shaken and being sprayed at her. Of course she happily accepted the whipped cream, having so much that her lips struggled to keep it all in. She gestured for him to hand over the bottle. He liked this stuff, he wouldn't mind how much she sprayed...not that she sprayed A LOT, just...enough. Yes.
Pretty good, huh?

The colander wobbled and echoed with a twang into Schuyler's ears when the other girl gave it a thwack, but this didn't keep the grin from her lips. Only enhanced it, really.
Olly had collected all the ingredients and set them there on the counter. Okay, well that wasn't all that many things. Seven. "There's salt in pancakes?" She asked, her brow a little furrowed. Regardless, she wasn't going to argue. Olly here was the one who knew how to make pancakes, not Schuyler. This also meant that if they turned out tasting BAD, she could blame Olly and not her novice cooking abilities. So there.
Now she was getting actual instructions for the recipe. One and a half cups of flour, with a gesture towards the flour. At this, Schuyler gave her a look from beneath her eyelids. She knew what flour was, thank you very much. And she'd even managed to maintain a straight face now for the effect. Well.. for the most part.
"Wait, wait.. I need cups." For measuring. One and a half cups... okay. Cups. She searched around a little and came back with a drinking glass. And a silver tablespoon, as well as a teaspoon. "Can you make anything other than pancakes?" She asked as she shoveled flour into the glass until it was full. She dumped it into the bowl and proceeded to fill it up halfway this next time.
"A tablespoon of baking powder.." she murmured to herself, dipping the larger spoon into the container. Into the bowl that went. Then the teaspoon of sugar. A liiiiittle bit of salt? Schuyler looked at the other girl. "How little is a liiiiittle?" She added a sprinkle of it. "That much?" Chef Olly needed to be more specific here. That seemed like too little. So, without waiting for an answer, she went ahead and added some more.

Wade made his way to the kitchens. It was going to be fun making whatever it was with his mates. Especially if pickles were involved, heh. It was too bad he was having to ration them lately.. Just as the door was about to shut all the way, he stuck his foot out to keep it open long enough to slip right in. Phew.
"Hey guys," He beamed before joining to where they all were.. making cookies. "Cookies, nice.. I brought some sprinkles for them." He gestured the little bag of such from his cloak to show as he waved it at them. "So what can I do?"

ALEXA CAMBRIDGE WAS SO AWESOME!!!
Not only did she NOT squeal and carry on about him squirting whipped cream at her but she was actually enjoying it. This was why she was so cool. She just went with the flow. She was like Zahra in that respect only she was a little bit cooler because she was older and stuff.
Mikey happily let her squirt some whipped cream at him and he licked it all up. It was awesome stuff.
"Okay maybe we should get onto actually making these chocolate frogs." He wiped his mouth with his sleeve while looking over the stuff they had gathered and then he headed off to the cupboard and took out some peanut butter and placed it with the other stuff.
"Right. Do you know how to turn the stove on?" Or were they going to use magic for this?
The colander wobbled and echoed with a twang into Schuyler's ears when the other girl gave it a thwack, but this didn't keep the grin from her lips. Only enhanced it, really.

"Yes." In HER pancakes there was salt. Just a pinch though. Olly raised her eyebrows at Schuyler as if she expected her to argue. Was Olly the expert here or was she? Exactly. So no questioning her decisions. Reaching up to move the pan out of her eyes, Olly continued to watch Schuyler's every move. Yes. Good girl. She quite liked that the Gryffindor was doing exactly what she telling her to. Heh. She could get used to this.
A drinking glass? Olly considered it for a moment, thinking it probably wasn't exactly the right measurement but in the end decided that it didn't matter. Probably. They'd see. She could blame it on Schuyler though if the pancakes weren't any good. "Eggs." Scrambled. Fried. She grinned at the other girl, nudging her with her foot for absolutely no reason at all. Good thing the house elves were back. They would have lived on a not so healthy diet if they'd had to cook for themselves.
Nodding along Olly had started to look around the kitchen for something else to eat in the meantime. Also they needed something to eat WITH the pancakes. Hmm. "Hmm?" Her eyes went back to Schuyler. How much salt? Pfft. She'd been specific enough. She'd said..."No, wait!" Olly leaned over quickly to lightly slap Schuyler's hand to stop her from adding any more salt. "I said a little!" She had to listen to her! Olly had even got hold of Schuyler's hand to make sure she didn't add any more salt. The pancakes were probably ruined already. Oh well. She still got a small amused grin.
"Now, I guess you can just use a spoon to mix that." Since it was all quite powder-y. So far.

So far.
That was a very resounding and confident 'yes.' Well. If Olly said it needed salt, then her word MUST be law. She appeared very proud of her knowledge in making pancakes. Schuyler glanced over in time to catch Olly adjusting the pot that was falling over her forehead, which in turn brought a slight grin to her own face. Her eyes stayed on her a tad longer then shifted back to the task at hand: pancake making.
She moved on to the eggs as instructed. Hmm. Very gently, she tapped the egg against the rim of the bowl. Tap tap tap. Too gently, actually. It barely even fractured. She tried it with a bit more force and she got it after two taps. Then on to the next one. "You didn't answer my question," she added, tossing the shells in the garbage. Maybe Olly didn't want to admit that pancakes were the ONLY thing she could cook.
Whaaa-?! Suddenly Olly was swatting her hand like a fly, as if Schuyler had done something wrong. And according to the other girl, she had. Apparently. "Okay, okaaay!" She scoffed, before adding, "'A little' is a very relative phrase." With this last word, she had grabbed some of the flour from the jar and threw it in the Hufflepuff's general direction - even kept the grip on the other girl's one hand so that she couldn't shield herself much. What, Olly? Was that too much FLOUR for the Olly recipe?! She smirked slightly to herself, proud of her comeback action, as she went back to the bowl. A little.... pfft.

Of course he knew how close the two had been standing. Alec grinned as he finished wiping the girl's forehead. "You had flour on your forehead, Ells," he said, "It's gone now." You know, in case she had been worried. As for her tugging, Alec looked down at his apron and GRINNED before looking back at the blonde. "Did you expect anything else?" It was AWESOME, right? And it said Superchef on there... even if he didn't really classify himself as a chef, let alone a super one.
... Oh! They had company! An enthusiastic one, too. "Hey Lottie!" Two finger salute for you, Lotus Wisteria. He grinned back at her before looking over at the Captain... and blinking. ... Right. This wasn't going to be awkward, yeah? And he would have hugged his girlfriend but before he could...
... Minnie was here! ... And she going about embarrassing him like any normal sister would. Thank YOU, Wheaty. "I... no no no! Anything but the eggs!" he said, trying and failing to grin sheepishly. He couldn't ruffle his hair, could he? They were about to cook and... then he'd have to wash his hands again. Yeah... not a good idea. Plus he was wearing a chef's hat so he'd have to take that off to ruffle his hair.
Speaking of good hair... "Hey General Kaid! Curly Wade!" ... That rhymed. He gave them two grins before turning back to the Captain, taking off his hat as he did so. "Yeah... anything you want me to do? ... Erm... anything apart from the eggs?" he asked, placing the hat firmly on her head. There. That was MUCH better!
Also, did they have dragon shaped cookie cutters? Or badger shaped ones?

Rolling dough was a good distraction from thoughts, yeah? And even better, more teammates were here. That was good. The blonde smiled as they wandered over, continuing to roll out the dough as she did. "Thanks, Min. My Gran got this for me." The apron, that is.
"Hey Kaiden! Hi Wade!" Casual waving with the rolling pin was happening. Was it dangerous to swing this around? Probably. It did sort of remind her of her days as a beater and that made her smile considering she was baking with the Quidditch team. She wouldn't be swinging at anything though.
"Thanks for bringing sprinkles, Curly! You can set them down with the frosting over on the counter?" Decorating stuff was over there. As for everyone asking what they could do, Ella shrugged. "There's tons of dough so you guys can start rolling some out if you want. And this one is pretty flat so anyone can start cutting out some cookies." Nodnod. "There's um...lots of cookie cutters to pick from. I sort of pulled them all out." She wasn't sure there was a pickle one though. Sad days. As for Alec and the eggs, Ella smiled faintly. "Don't worry. I took care of that part earlier."
What, Olly? Was that too much FLOUR for the Olly recipe?! She smirked slightly to herself, proud of her comeback action, as she went back to the bowl. A little.... pfft.
Now onto mixing.
What was she...? Olly tilted her head slightly to the side, while watching Schuyler add the eggs. "No, I meant..." ACTUALLY she should have beaten the eggs first. Which Olly would have told her if she hadn't just gone ahead and done her own thing. "...eggs." She gestured towards the bowl, biting her lower lip briefly. "What I actually meant was, eggs, I know how to cook eggs." She looked back up at Schuyler's face, a small grin on her lips. Reaching across Schuyler and the bowl from where she was sitting, Olly took the whisk her friend had been using earlier and placed it in Schuyler's hand. "You should have beaten them first." The eggs. Before adding them.
Now she was gonna have to do it while they were already IN the bowl with the other ingredients. Good luck.
A relative phrase? Oh, sorry, she wasn't an expert in the correct recipe jargon. Also now they couldn't do the thing where they moved aside the flour and other things before adding the liquidy stuff. So mixing it was going to be a lot harder. Good thing Schuyler was the one doing the actual cooking, not her. Yes, very good. Olly was about to give the other girl another order when-
Flour happened. Well, actually Schuyler happened. With flour. Great. Thank you, Schuyler. She sent a half-hearted glare at the other girl which didn't reaaallly come across as one probably, mainly because she was blinking quite frantically to get the flour off her eyelashes. "Don't play with the food, Schuyler." Olly said in her best strict-teacher voice while reaching up to rid her nose of the flour.
Luckily for her Schuyler had used so much of the flour that she only had to touch her own shirt for her hands to be covered with it too. And exactly those flour-covered hands Olly placed on either side of the other girl's face so she had a handprint on both cheeks. Hopefully. You probably had to KNOW it was one to see it but you know. She wasn't an artist and there wasn't anyone there to see it anyway.

Minerva smiled as more people came into the kitchen, "Hey Kaiden, Kitty" She watched Ella roll out the dough, "You should have said something, I could have helped make the dough earlier." Captain didn't have to do it all herself, but it was super nice. "Well your Gran has good taste, it's super cute."
So what were they going to do now. She glanced at Alec as he ruffled his hair about the eggs. "Oh why not Alec? Scared of some eggs?" She chuckled at him before turning and watched a bit. She noticed the rest of the dough, "I can flatten some dough if the boys want to start using the cookie cutters." That sounded like a good plan, let the boys do the designs.
She walked over to the dough and accioed a rolling pin. With it in hand she began rolling out more dough. "So what kind of frosting do we have?" Frosting was one of the best parts, could they get spoons and eat some of it now, possibly.
Her eyes opened automatically at someone taking her hand. An ear-to-ear smile came at the sound of his voice. A blush instantly showed on her cheeks and she giggled, leaning in and kissing him. Tay kept dancing with and smiling as big as she could. She loved dancing… and Nash so dancing with Nash was amazing. ”It does work better when two are dancing.” Her skirt flared out a little as she spun sometime then she giggled as she saw Nash’s face… more particular his lips. She bit her lip, trying not to laugh as she slid a hand away and wiped at them then took his hand again. ”Your lips might look a little redder for like a day… Some of my lipstick must have come off when I kissed you.” Tay giggled and gave him a smile, ”Sorry about that.” Taylor laid her head on his chest a little, ”Didn’t mean to make it so.” She couldn’t help but giggle at it though and she looked back up at him. ”What do you think of my outfit anyways?” Tay pulled away a little and gave him a twirl then went back to dancing with him. She looked up at him, ”Did I totally miss you or did you just come in when I was dancing?” Taylor tilted her head and smiled.
Nashville smiled softly at her, his cheeks were still red from all the blushing Taylor made him do, well he knew that she didn't mean to do it but the point was it was still happening and he couldn't turn it off. IT NEEDED AN OFF BUTTON. Nashville poked the his cheeks, nope, still not off. Nashville softly kissed Taylor back and smiled as he spun her around. "You know I think I look good with some red lipstick on. What you think?" Nashville did a little duck face. Nashville laughed at himself. "'Ey, it's no problem at all." Nashville wrapped him arms around her and pet her hair as she rested her head against his chest. "I think you look so amazingly beautiful, just like you always do." He gave her a wink.

Nashville rushed over to the ovens and took out about five or six or was that seven pies? "BACK UP GOD OF PIE COMING THROUGH HERE WITH VERY HOT AND FRESH PIES." and he wasn't talking about himself.

Alexa would have grinned at Michael but see, her mouth was full of whipped cream and the moment she'd emptied it, she squirted herself some more. Why hadn't they thought of this sooner? Granted, Lottie would probably scowl if she saw her right now...but she would just skip the post-dinner candy later on. That kind of evened it out...?
Right, back the to chocolate frog making.
Lex moved everything over to the counter that Mikey had the ingredients he had found on it. This way they could better keep track of everything. "I can't shake the feeling we're forgetting something but I guess we'll just figure it out as we go along." She began counting off everything again, just in case it would jog her memory but that didn't seem to be working.
As for the question of the stove...."Can we use incendio?"....Wasn't that how people made fire happen? It just got her wondering. Muggles couldn't use magic. How did they get fire to happen? How did she explain to him that she was completely lost where the kitchen was concerned. She could help you eat your food but producing it in the first place would prove difficult.
"You said we're using both types of chocolate, yes?"

She giggled and watched him poke his cheeks. Tay raised an eyebrow and wondered what the heck he was doing but she smiled, loving it either way. Taylor burst out in laughter at the duck face and what he said about red lipstick, "Oh if that is the case..." She smirked and gave him a few light pecks on the lip and then one on either cheek. "How is that then?" Her eyes twinkled in humor as she gave him a loving look. "Glad that it aint a problem." Tay beamed as he wrapped his arms around her and started to pet her hair. Taylor didnt really like anyone touching her hair but Nash doing it... she can tolerate it... to be honest, she liked him petting her hair. It was comforting. She blushed at what he said and then grew even redder at the wink. "I was hoping you would like it." Tay beamed up at him and held him close.
Then all of a sudden she was out of his arms which made her pout inside but beamed on the outside since... well, she was still able to hang with him so it was all good. Tay glanced at all the hufflepuffs and was just silent, not sure what to say... She knew a few hufflepuffs on their team... even dating one, obviously. Tay laughed as he yelled about no one touching his pies then again when he was carrying A LOT of pies saying that the god of pies is coming through with hot pies. Taylor smiled at him, "What pies did ya make today?" She glanced at them, wondering if her favorite was there... she could so go for a strawberry pie... eh if it aint one them, she will just make it later or ask her mom. Tay stayed a safe distance from Nash while he was taking care of his pies though... and in case he didnt want to be close like they just were among his peers.

Eggs. Yeah. That's what she'd said before. Schuyler lifted an eyebrow over Olly's way. Crazy girl.
Oh..
Oh, wait. She had meant that she could cook eggs. As in she was answering Schuyler's question. But really, in all honesty, that WAS deceiving. Saying 'eggs' right after she'd been throwing out ingredients she needed to mix together. And so here came the deadpanned look from Schuyler. Oh really? She should have beaten the eggs first? "I'm gonna beat you up in a minute." This girl who had the audacity to now hand her a whisk! Now both eyebrows lifted evenly as she looked at the girl. "Fine." The corners of her mouth curled slightly. "I'll whisk it." ....
..Blink. After saying that aloud, she realized - and tried to ignore - how 'I'll whisk it' basically just sounded like 'I'll risk it' with a bad lisp. Whisk, risk, lisp...
She whisked away, though. As best she could. "What's next?" Beating, whisking, beating.
Olly's eyelashes turned to butterfly wings for a second or two when she was ridding them of the airborne flour. And then the strict, adult Olly comment. Let's just say that Schuyler ignored this.... for now. Instead she dumped some milk - her own random amount - into the bowl and whisked some more. Though that flour stunt that she had pulled on Olly did not fly without retaliation. She did expect this, however. So when Olly pressed her floured hands to her cheeks, Schuyler simply grinned against her palms and waited. It would accent the colander chef hat. Somehow.
