| | | Ravenclaw Girls Dorms {Banner by sweetpinkpixie} When you take the stairs from the Common Room and head to the right, the doors of the dormitories allotted for the females of Ravenclaw House are where you end up. Each year has their own room, but don't worry they are all furnished the same and are roughly the same size with the help of Extension Charms on the Tower.
Each room is circular and the large window pattern continues here like it was in the Common Room. The room is complete with four-poster beds spread out along the walls with each owner's trunk at the foot, all in a fair bit better condition than you may have noticed last term. The comforters and privacy curtains are no longer moth-eaten and are a lovely shade of navy velvet. The bedside tables clean as well, apart from some dusk along the backs, and above each of those, mirrors hang. Connected to each dormitory room is also a bathroom.
Use this room to rest after a hard day of classes, relax after Quidditch practice, or to just hang out with your housemates. **Remember no boys allowed in here. The stairs will prevent this... |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Louise Fellen Third Year | Jupiter's Satellite Sitting on the bed, Tora watched as the beam of intensified light settled on the raw chicken. She waited a couple minutes before getting impatient. "How long is it supposed to take?" she complained, banging her feet against the side of the bed.
She glared at the chicken. Maybe if she got angry at it, it would cook better. No, apparently not... The heat from her gaze didn't warm it up enough. Heat. "Solis Focalis." she contributed another stream of brilliant sunlight to the roast. More heat.
She might feel like this wasn't a lost cause if the meat had started smoking. Or even changed color a bit. But no, this chicken was still as slimy and pink and disgusting as it was when they first brought it in here. Billywig rot, this was going to take forever!"

But no, this chicken was still as slimy and pink and disgusting as it was when they first brought it in here. Billywig rot, this was going to take forever! Adrienne drummed the fingers of her right hand on the windowsill as she held her left hand steady. "How am I supposed to know?" she snapped. It wasn't like she cooked. She concentrated for a few more moments, trying to intensify the beam of light, but so far, no luck. Tora joined her, which was nice, but it wasn't particularly helpful, from what she could see.
She couldn't decide whether this was actually a terrible idea or if she was just bad at its execution. Hopefully she wouldn't get a bad grade on Astronomy homework, though, because that would suck. First homework of the year, and already Adrienne wasn't doing so well? Ugh.
That's it, she'd had enough. She pressed a finger to the spot where the sunlight had been focused, and to her chagrin it was only slightly warm, even in comparison to the rest of the chicken, which was pretty cold. Adrienne sighed, ended the spell, and stood up properly. "That's it, I give up. I will just say it was cloudy or something." Always blame the environment, if possible.

Tora thought to herself as she ended her spell as well; but she didn't say that out loud. Although she had a temper and got annoyed easily, she knew when to shut up (most of the time) and Adrienne didn't look like she would take kindly to one of Tora's remarks. "You know Professor Airey will give you full points. You tried, and there's evidence of that." she flicked her gaze to the slightly warm chicken. "Wingardium Leviosa" she said levitating the chicken so she wouldn't have to touch it. To the trash you go! "So what's next?" she asked looking towards Adrienne. They had agreed to work together on their Astronomy homework, and according to the assignment, Adrienne still had yet to do another trial. For something. Tora just hoped this next idea would work better.

She breathed a sigh of relief as she saw them slow down and very lightly met the floor.
Picking them up she set them on her dresser and very carefully got back onto her bed.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Louise Fellen Third Year | Charms Homework #2: Post 3 Jupiter's Satellite Well, at least it was quiet here! Honestly, Tora was rather surprised that it was since it was nearing the end of the day, but it was nice. She wanted a bigger challenge this time, so instead of placing the book directly in front of her, she tossed it to the bed across the room. Focusing on that object, and only that object, Tora once again brought out her wand. "Carpe Retractum," she said, but she hadn't been pointing her wand at the right book really, since the spell swept away and latched onto her friend Adrienne's book one bed over. "Finite!" the Ravenclaw said quickly before standing to retrieve the dropped book and placing it back on Adrienne's bed. Ahem. "Carpe Retractum!" she said being very careful to not just concentrate on book, but on the specific book which was her History of Magic textbook. The purple light rope shot out and nabbed the correct textbook this time, bringing it back towards Tora. Smiling triumphantly for a second win in a row, Tora caught the book and tucked it back away in her bag. She would finish the rest of her Charms practice tomorrow, and her goal then would be to get it faster and with more efficiency. At least now the spell was actually working for Tora.
