Minerva walked towards the charm professors office. She was nervous, why she wasn't sure. There wasn't many professors she was nerves to go to in the castle, yes there were a few, but not to many. She actually enjoyed going to visit professors, but this wasn't really a just because visit. She did have a purpose and she hoped that she had gotten the right advice in her last letter.

Minerva looked at the door and just stared at it.. What was her problem it was a professors office, but she didn't know this professor. Taking a deep breath Minerva finally reached up and knocked on the door. Turning she found a seat on the little bench and waited for the professor to answer.

After reorganizing a few things on her bookshelves, Ivy heard a knock at the door. She paused for a couple seconds... "Come in," she said, not turning away from the shelves. Hmmmm. Something still looked off...

Calista had been very distant at the Start of Term Feast and not in the physical sense since she had been, in fact, sitting in the same seat she was given a few years before. The Divination Professor had been preoccupied with how she would continue to teach her subject that was already under-funded, much like many of the other Professors likely were. Apart from that thinking she also missed out on the socializing she had planned to do with the new Professors, even though the ones that were missing were mainly due to firing--she would miss them.

Her hope had gotten up when she saw that Sophia was no longer in the Charms chair and a new woman was seated there. It was short-lived though and Callie had spent the rest of the night eating potatoes and listening to Medea and Airey talk nearby.

Now that Callie had had some time to plan she thought it was best to go officially meet the woman who was now teaching Charms and who just so happened to be one of the newly hired Board of Governors member. She padded her way into the corridor with her sandals, dressed in a long flowy white skirt with a long sleeved cotton top; her usually jangling bracelets as well.

She knocked and then sat on the bench outside the door.

Sitting at her desk, Ivy heard a knock on the door. She had been reading a book and eating fresh-picked strawberries from her garden back home that her house elf, Pippa, had been taking care of while she was away. With permission from the Headmistress, Ivy had taken Pippa along to Hogwarts with her, since there was a lack of house elves in the castle, and the elf helped alongside Toddles when Ivy wasn't needing her or when she wasn't tending the garden back home. The elf had just left the office a few minutes before to go do... something productive.

"Come in," Ivy called to the person behind the door, her eyes not leaving her book.

Nervous? No she wasn’t nervous. All right, maybe she was a little nervous. But that was completely explainable. Professor Knox had kind of yelled at her in class because of how she cast the wrong spell at the wrong time.

Stupid spider. If it hadn’t been there, then she wouldn’t have been yelled at.

She had a few things she wanted to ask Professor Knox.

The first, was just an excuse to ask for some advice about cleaning things.
The second – and more important one were those shoes. She had remembered that Professor Knox had been wearing heels and well – Mika wanted to know things about them. Like 1) Where to go about finding them, 2) How painful they really are, and 3) What were they really.

Seriously.

She knew women used them to gain height – and she needed that. But it was important. Because her sister had sent her some for her birthday and she didn’t understand them. Where they used for causing pain – like kicking people? Or were they just…to look at like art pieces.

Ivy Knox wasn't wearing spiked heels today, but they were quite tall. She was just returning from... somewhere and saw a familiar girl outside her office door. Ah, yes, it was the one who wasn't so good at following directions.

"What can I do for you, Miss...?" she asked, walking to her office door. Her tone wasn't rude, but it wasn't quite pleasant. And Ivy wouldn't let her in until she knew what she wanted.

Well that wasn’t a friendly tone what so ever. So she did her best job at smiling pleasantly at Professor Knox. She might have sat there with her jaw dropped open for a bit of time.

“Hello Professor” she smiled brightly. Sure she was trying to be nice. Really nice, too nice. “I wanted to apologize about class the other day…fear got the best of me” she nodded. “and I’ve got some questions about cleaning charms in general” she nodded as she glanced up at the Professor.

“I also had some various questions about…charms” the word fit yeah? It didn’t seem like she was reaching for a word. Nope. Cause she wasn’t.

This girl smiled far too much.

She listened to the girl apologize and explain and so on and so forth. Ivy waved her wand over the doorknob and murmured something under her breath before opening the door.

Ivy sighed. "Alright, come in. Ask away." Ivy walked in the office and waited for the girl to follow.

Laura walked up-to the classroom and smiled, this was going to be awesome, well she had done what the Professor had asks, she had got so distracted with this that she had forgotten to do her homework, so it was the Professor fault she didn't do the homework.

*knock* *knock*

Laura had the Parchment in her hands ready to give to the nice Professor.

It was almost time for dinner and Ivy was hungry. And just her luck, someone decided to drop by. Ivy suppooooosed she would let them in.

"Come in!" she called from behind the door.

Nerida walked quickly and quietly over to the door of the charms office. She did not back down, she didn't when they had their water fight and she wasn't going to now. Yeap Laura she accepted your dare. She quickly hung the sign and left quickly as can be, having doubts all the way back to her common room.

Uniform in perfect order? Check. Felix left up in the Common Room? Check. Ice-cream eaten and bowl gotten rid of before she got here? CHECK, and really it was such a nice sundae, she'd have to get more once she left here.

Alexa took a DEEP breath and stopped her bouncing (sorta, now it was only small bounces) because this was business, business and a Professor who didn't like any action that was sugar induced.

She walked up to the door and took a few knocks before getting completely distracted by the note on the door.

Oh?

Someone else that understood!!! She was much too excited again to wonder which idiot pulled this. There were probably spells to trace this kind of thing. Probably. Oh merlin...now she was hyper again. Stop bouncing. Stop bouncing. Stop bouncing.

As she escorted Laura out of her office, Ivy opened the door to find the all-too-familiar Gryffindor standing outside. But before she could even ask why, she noticed a note stuck to her door. She ripped it off and read it quickly, her eyes narrowing as she went on. Oh, the nerve this girl must have had...

Ivy looked past Alexa and around the corridor for the senseless Ravenclaw that made the mistake of writing this note. She wasn't there. Ivy sighed and turned back into her office. "What do you want, Cambridge?" she asked as she walked inside. The girl could follow if she really wanted to. Ivy was grumpy and hungry.

Jory made his way down towards Professor Knox's office. Was there anyone in there? If there was, he could always read one of the magazines there. The place looked very comfortable. But first, he'd find out if he can enter the office.

Knock, knock!

Ivy did happen to be in her office at that moment, cleaning up and organizing after a year of teaching. Hearing the knock, she called to the person outside of her door, "Come in!"
