Walking through the crowd Damien found himself lost again.
It's my 4th year in Hogwarts and I still get lost?! Pfft! he thought.
"Ravenclaws...I need to find one at least." he whispered to no one in particular.
Taylor was already in her hogwarts uniform complete with her ravenclaw tie. Tay was glancing around the square, feeling down. She sat on a bench and started to braid her blonde curls.

This was it, yeah? He was going to be a fourth year! That was awesome... right? Yeah! And he was going to make his Dad proud this year as well. That'd be awesome too! And he was going to be turning fifteen soon which meant... well... he was going to be slightly cooler! Hopefully.
This... called for some ice cream! Or some sweets! GRIN.
Astrid was supposed to leave for France daaays ago. But the kid begged!cried at her father to let her stay with her Aunt for a few more days. Today was the day of her flight and before driving to the airport, she asked her dad to drop her at Kings Cross for ten minutes. Ten minutes, that's all. She wanted it longer but... Well, ten minutes was good enough,
She planned out on saying goodbye to Alec before he left for Hogwarts. Yeah, she totally wanted him at surprise cos surprises were cool. And to say thanks for the ice cream date meet up at Diagon Alley weeks ago. Now she was here.

HEY LOOK ALEC WAS THERE! That was his back though. Hey look here! Whatever. Astrid ran to Alec and hugged him tight at his back. Nope, she wished he didn't have to leave. She wished the distance between London and France wouldn't affect their friendship... But she was confident that it was strong enough. But hey, this was gonna be her last hug for him... Before he left, which was sad. SNIFF.

The sooner he got it done, the better, yeah? After all, it meant that he could grab a compartment quickly! Or find someone he knew and sit with them on the way to Hogwarts. And maybe find the Food Trolley too? That would be an awesome way to start off the year!

The Hufflepuff twisted round to look behind him... and then grinned some more. "Astrid!" Holy Superman, it was good to see her again! "Erm... you okay there?" With the way she was hugging him, it was as if he was going away forever which... well... he kind of was. Gulp.

The hug? It was probably one of the nicest things ever. And it really showed how close the two had gotten over the past summer. Which was awesome, really, because the girl was like a sister to him. So if they weren't close... that would just be a bit weird, yeah? Yeah.
Astrid's words made something in the pit of his stomach drop slightly. Alec blinked a couple of times as the realisation sunk in. They weren't going to see each other for ten months! That was a really long time. He was going to be there, up north at Hogwarts whilst Astrid would be wandering around the halls of Beauxbatons in France. That... well... that wasn't great, was it? "Of... of course you're not," he whispered, hugging the girl back. There was no way she could be.
"Erm... hey, I... erm... I can come and visit you! Over the winter holidays?" It was nearly four months away and that was better than not seeing each other for ten months, yeah? "Oh... I..." This was hard, this goodbye. "I'll miss you, Astrid." And did she have to leave so soon?
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Leaning back a bit, Kurumi waited to hear what else Daichi had to say...only it seemed as though his next bit of news was something he wanted to show her and not tell her.
Momentarily distracted by her concern for him essentially stabbing himself with his new badge, it took a moment for her to register what badge he had just stabbed himself with. "GULPING GARGOYLES DAICHI!" she exclaimed as she clapped her hands together once rather loudly and her eyes widened. "I knew it!" Or, Kurumi had hope it anyway, but those weren't the words that had come out of her mouth.
Oh, right, of course. Daichi was trying to play it all cool right now like it was no big deal. WHY did guys always do that?!
"Daichi, I'm so proud of you!" Again. Even if he was probably the most Hufflepuff of Slytherins that she knew. Wait, maybe that was why? Kurumi did love like Hufflepuff guys. "You are going to do brilliantly!" Even if the idea of Sierra and him being co-prefects was somewhat...laughable?
Her summer? Yeah, she had sort of missed that question because she was too busy BEAMING at Daichi right now.
Remembering that he had left his trolley with his school supplies behind, Daichi told Kurumi he was getting it before he walked back , searching for his trolley. This was another reason why Daichi didn't get he was made Prefect. He obviously had just left his trolley for anyone to steal! With a sigh he pushed it back until he was standing in front of Kurumi again.
"i-i don't think i've overcome my fear yet." he answered back as he bit his lip. "But i tried and i am actually proud of myself if i have to be honest" He wasn't the type to praise himself all the time but this time he really felt like he had accomplished something big. And he had, overcoming your biggest fear since a little kid, even if it is only small, is big right?
"I couldn't have done it with you though..." he said awkwardly and with a goofy smile on his face he suddenly moved forward and took Kurumi in tight embrace. Resting his chin against her shoulder, Daichi had to blink his eyes rapidly because he suddenly realised that she wasn't coming on the train with him. "Really, Thank you..."
He pushed away from the gryffindor and quickly wiped his watery eyes with his sleeve. But while he was doing that it seemed that Kurumi had found out about his badge. "Gulping Gargoyles?" Daichi giggled before he blushed again when she told him that she knew he was going to get it. "It's strange, wearing this badge..." The Slytherin looked down at it and poked it with his finger. "Not that i'm not happy with it!" he exclaimed quickly and flailed his arms. "I'm just wondering why me? Kurumi , you know me right? i mean more than others do..." which was true. Apart from Evan and Jonathan only Kurumi *knew* him. "Do you know why i was picked? Cause the other fifth years are much better at magic than i!"

Part of Astrid had to let go cos she might cry. And part of her said she should hold on. Ten months wasn't forever, but it would feel incomplete without someone who would make you feel okay... Who was there to make sure you were safe and to make sure everything was fine. Yeah, that was when Alec went into the picture. Astrid wasn't clingy, but it was the first time she found a brotherly figure in someone and it was unexpected at how amazing the feeling could be. The little brunette had no regrets with that.
Yes, Alec, of course I'm not. Astrid had lots of thoughts in her mind. Beauxbatons was all the way at France and Hogwarts was here. Distance was bad, especially for people who care. But it was also a way to test how strong your friendship for someone is. Leaving only felt worse when Alec hugged her back. Gosh, she would never have Alec hug her for ten months. Reality was painful. Slowly, Astrid let go and looked at Alec. She already had a tear rolling down her cheek. It was obvious that Astrid cared. A lot. Cos every drop of her tears shouldn't go to waste. Alec wasn't waste... So the tear was for him.
She still felt bad though. Astrid just nodded. Yeah, he could visit during the holidays. She couldn't be happy at the moment. Great, Alec's words made her feel horrible now. Flinging her arms around Alec again, she sobbed quietly. "I'll miss you too, Alec," she said. Did she have to be a softy when it comes to Alec? It was scary how she never cried for any boy.... But this one over here. "Thanks for the great summer, I appreciate the memories" The memories would hopefully help her get through ten months without him right?

Aurora's parents pushed her trolley with her trunk towards the Platform while Aurora walked behind them trying to ignore her baby sister's pleas to come with her to Hogwarts.
"Ruby, you are still too young-- you can't go to Hogwarts!" Aurora finally yelled at her. The two sisters had stopped next to the Public Sphere and suddenly Aurora felt embarrassed for shouting at her sister since everyone had stopped and was staring at the two of them.
Looking around her, Aurora noticed to her horror, a fellow 'Claw, Damien standing next to Taylor, another 'Claw. She couldn't believe that she had done that in front of them.
Gathering her courage and knowing that her parents would see to Ruby, she walked up to them, especially looking at Damien.
"Hey! How were your summers?"
