Damien looked at the girl who spoke.

Taylor looked up, hearing her name. Confusion registered on her face for a second until she placed the name of the fourth year Ravenclaw boy, "Oh, hey Damien." She forced a smile which would have been real if she hadnt been feeling sad. Her face was tear-stained from the tears she had been crying before her friend, Lily, who was another Ravenclaw, dried them. Tay glanced over at a third year Ravenclaw joining them, "Oh... my summer... it wasnt the worst but it wasnt the best..." Taylor looked at Damien, "You surf?" Any sport got Taylor's attention... she loved sports, "Are you only a surfer type guy or do you plan on trying out for Qudditich?" Tay always tried out and always had gotten on the time... as a reserve but that is better than nothing.
Aurora smiled a huge smile back at Damien,
"That's right! I'm surprised that you remembered my name. You went surfing? That is just so cool! My summer was okay-- spent part of it in London visiting my grandparents..." She trailed off as she saw Taylor's face. Aurora bent down to touch the fifth year girl's hand.
"I'm sorry, didn't you have a good summer?"
Aurora hated seeing others hurting. It was her inner Hufflepuff trait she supposed.
