She returned the kiss and couldn't help but just smiling at him as he traced the side of her face with his hand. he had always been so sweet to her, it was sad that it took her getting the crap beat outta her team and quidditch for her to notice how much she really miss & needed him. heh. If Dylan knew that the reason she had done so bad was because she was distracted by a puffer.. she'd surely be dead! "that is the best thing i've heard all day." she smiled

Damon smiled back, "I love you so much." He chuckled, "But I'm happy that it is."

Ariana stood on her toes and hugged him again tighter then before giggling a bit as she did so. this just made her day really. she was way to worked up over losing but now she was better.. "hug me tighterrr." dont me a whimp Damon, Hold her!

Damon laughed and did as she asked, hugging her tightly, "Better, mon amour?" He smiled down at her and laid his head on top if hers.

yaaayyyyy!!! tight hugggsss! "yeesssss!" she exclaimed as he really felt him hugging her. heh yay. she looked up at him "really, I mean am I getting shorter?" because it seemed that everyone was way WAY taller then her and she hated it. she wanted to groowww

"You don't seem like you are to me... Have you eaten or drank anything strange though?" Who knew, someone might be making her get shorter... But as he remembered the top of her head always had reached to his chin.

hmmmm "maybe your getting taller." she then shook her head "no nothing strange or anything." no no. i mean she did take kurumi's truth potion yesterday but she was fine really. and she had felt short for weeeeks now. meh

Damon shook his head, "I'm still an even 6'0"." Damon nodded, "So I have no idea why you're feeling shorter."

"hmm. weirrd." very very very weird. "i dont know either. but i dont likeee it." she wanted to be tallllerrrrrrr way taller. being 5'5 was lame and she hated it

Damon kissed her lightly, "I love you the way you are though." Damon smiled at her, "All five foot five of you... I love you just this way, as a matter a fact." He gently pulled back from her and accioed his guitar and started to play.

Ariana smiled at him as he complimented her and her short height that made her insecure for some reason. Then he was breaking out his guitar and he sang her a song and ariana couldn't help but to sway LIGHTLY to it. and when he was done she waited for him to put his guitar down she took both of his hands in hers and swung them a bit as she kissed his nose. now THAT was something she needed to hear at the moment. perfect timing Mercada, like always

Damon smiled and gently squeezed her hands as she grabbed his, "I seem to be doing everything right for once."

"you always do everything right Damon." she told him as she held onto his hands a bit tighter

Damon looked at her, "You're the first one who's every told me that. I normally do the wrong thing it seems." According to Taylor that's how it was anyways.

The Slytherin Looked at him and put her hands on either side of his face adn looked him right in the eyes. "don't ever let anyone tell you your anything less or short of what you really are Damon." she let out a small sigh "you KNOW how great you are and I know you do. so dont let anyone tell what you are." EVER k? It was bad enough that he brought himself down enough as it was. Let her hear about anyone bringing him down and they were going to get real familiar to the forth years Fist, No questions asked!

Damon looked at her, "Because according to you, I'm pure perfection." He smiled at her, "But I can do the wrong thing Ari... But I promise I won't let people talk me down." He smiled at her.

"well you are perfect duh" she said to him as if it were some kind of obvious fact 'but good. cause no one needs to bring you down ever!" not even McIntyre

Ethan raised an eyebrow. He hoped she wasn't getting sick, hopefully it was just from all that talking, like she said. "I think you do really well at that," he said, nodding. He wasn't sure he could remember all those names and keep the commentary interesting. "Definitely keeps things entertaining." Grin. Not that Quidditch wasn't entertaining enough.. but this added an extra touch. And nothing too embarrassing this time. Though he did chuckle lightly and look away as he remember her falling on top of him. That was slightly awkward. Ethan looked back at Minnie and smiled as he took a sip of his espresso. "No, it's perfect." The elves did do a nice job with his espressos.. when he could find them to get him one.

Ethan walked slowly down the path with Minerva at his side, not really paying any attention to anyone else that may be out... just enjoying her company. Shrugging lightly, he said, "I'm kinda tired of the snow actually.. we don't get quite so much where I'm from.. do you?" It had been how many months of the cold, white stuff now? Spring needed to get here, like tomorrow. He smiled up at the sky before turning to her. "It's nice that the sun's shining though." Smile widening into a grin at her comment, the boy said, "Well, it definitely suits you.. and I appreciate the sentiment." Yes, he liked his color on her, whether he played on the team or not. "Oh, do you know Taylor? She's a nice girl.. we study together sometimes." And he still did not know who this Ariana person was.. but if she was a friend of Minerva's, he figured she had to be alright.

Minerva smiled at him as they walked, "Thanks, it's really fun actually. I didn't know if I could do it or not. Since I didn't get to try out, I thought this might be the next best thing." She then shrugged and blushed a bit, "It's just an added bonus when I know some back information, like if two are dating or something." She laughed a little at this, she didn't do it to be mean or gossip, it was just for the entertainment really. Well until it came to Rich, now that was just to get under his skin and hopefully make girls aware to stay away from him. She then jumped a little in front of him and smiled, "Hey.. I at least left you out of it this time, even though I was thinking what I said last time." She was glad his drink was good, she wouldn't want to screw up on something like that.

She looked at the snow, "Depends on which state I was living in. Some we got a ton, others we got none. I like it though, plus I like my winter hats, so it's a win/win situation for now." Her smile grew as he said he liked her hair, he was hoping he would. It would be blonde again soon, but maybe she would leave the blue for awhile, since he enjoyed it. "Thanks, I could always make yours match for the next quidditch match Ravenclaw is in." She was good at the spell and liked doing it not just on herself. "Oh yeah, Taylor and I are pretty good friends actually.There is a group of us that use to hangout a lot until well you know how breakups go and things. It use to be Maxwell, Ariana, Taylor, Damon, and myself, but once Maxwell and I ended and Taylor and Damon ended it just got awkward all the way around." She shrugged a bit thinking about it, they hadn't hung out as a group all term. It was sad, but what could you do.

As they continued to walk Minerva tried to figure out how to bring something up and finally she just took a breath and went for it. "Hey Ethan..I need to explain something to you." Yes, she really felt the need to explain herself. "The other weekend at Hogsmeade, at the three broomsticks. Well not that I didn't like it or anything, but usually I'm not that well forward I guess." She felt her cheeks blushing. "I had went in and was excited to see Maxwell and Ariana together and wanted to hangout with them, but Elliot was there. Well to make a long story short, I was trying to be nice to her and I guess she just can't do the same. You were brought up and our date, and well she kind of... trailing off she looked away from him, well this was more embarrassing then she thought. "Anyway, Elliot asked how much I paid you to go on a date with me. I guess she doesn't believe you would actually ask me on a date. It just made me mad and well I just wanted to show her that we did like each other. Probably not the most mature thing to do, but I wasn't really thinking clearly after she said that." She hoped he wouldn't think she was a horrible person or anything after saying all this. She would have liked to kiss him either way, but it just happened so quickly and so randomly that she was feeling weird about it.

Damon shook his head, "I'm not perfect Ari." He sighed, "But people won't bring me down, they really never have been able to." Figured that be obvious, he was laughed at for normally living in the woods and actually enjoyed it.

"good then." she said smiling like an idiot. hehe. "so have you been to classes this term mister?" she asked poking at his side. classes were important, yes VERY

Damon looked down, "I may have skipped one class... Or all but three of them in the past month..." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Yeah, I guess I don't really know a lot about that sort of thing," Ethan shrugged in response to Minerva's comment on the personal details of her commentary. He chuckled a bit though, thinking how that aspect was what made her commentary special. Stopping suddenly as she jumped in front of him, the sixteen year old grinned at her words. "Oh you mean cute?" he said, tugging gently on the side of her coat to pull her a little closer. "I'm pretty sure that's what you said last time.." Chuckling a bit, he let go and walked a bit further down the path, willing her to follow.

"Oh, right.. I guess it's a pretty big country, isn't it? Lot of different climates?" That was a little strange for him to completely wrap his head around.. but he figured he'd see for himself one day. Turning to face Minnie, at her words, he grinned and placed a hand on either side of her hat, gently tugging down a little. "Well, you look really cute in your hats.. so I guess it's a win for me too." Wink. Flirty teasing aside, the boy dropped his hands and walked alongside her as she spoke about a group of friends. He only recognized a couple names, but she seemed a bit sad that things weren't the way they were. Funny how things like that happened sometimes..

Ethan stopped and looked at Minerva as her tone suddenly got serious. An explanation? He grinned as he took a step closer. "I was wondering about that actually.. about what got into you that day.." His smug smile started to fall, however, the more she explained. "What?" he breathed, eyes slightly widened as she mentioned Elliot's comment. "That's a horrid thing to say.." he started, eyes averted as he processed this info. He wasn't sure how she even knew about their date, but that wasn't really important anyway. He thought for a moment about all she said and turned back to her. "So, you only kissed me to prove a point?" he asked with a hint of disappointment. What Elliot said was pretty awful and he guessed he understood Minnie's reasoning.. but he wished she had kissed him for a different reason.

she gave him a disappointed look and poked him"YOU need to go to class!"

Minerva watched his reactions out of the corner of her eye as they walked. When she was facing him she smiled at his comment. Oh he was pulling her closer, she could get use to this. "Yes... cute.. you did look cute Saturday by the way." she winked and then he was walking again. She shook her head a little behind him smiling and caught up with him to be beside him again. She thought for a moment to grab his hand to hold it, but she was fearful of it. She didn't know why, it wasn't the big of a deal to hold someones hand was it. She was usually so confident in things, but around him it was all butterflies.

"Yes it is big, it always surprises me when people say how far they travel to get to the other end of countries here." but then again for a person who never did muggle things, she didn't know if Ethan ever had to wait long to reach a place. Then his hands were on her hat, she blushed and giggled. "Well I'm glad, because I have a ton of them in my trunk. I have a fun badger one that I am hoping to wear at the next match." She giggled again and bit her lip looking into his green eyes. Oh he is just so cute and then that wink. Min felt the urge to just lean in and kiss his cheek or something, but...he was walking again. A small quiet sigh she walked with him smiling. This was fun, really fun..

Oh he stepped closer.. No she was very nervous to talk. As she explained she watched his reactions.. Oh this wasn't good, she should have kept her mouth shut. She heard the way it sounded coming out of her mouth and she just wanted to pull it back in.. No...no that isn't how I wanted to say it, she thought. "Yes..She did say that.." She looked up at him with puppy eyes, showing how hurtful it was to her. "I know she doesn't like me, but did she have to go that far." Kicking the ground a little, she felt the irritation come back. Then he said the words that bugged her the most. Stepping closer and giving a small smile she shook her head, "No..No.. It wasn't the only reason. I always think about it when your around, but I just don't usually have the nerve to do it.. not first anyway, let's just say she gave me the nerve I needed." She looked up at him trying to read his reaction to her words.
