The Eagles, who won the House Cup for this term, sit under a bright navy and bronze banner representing their house. This table should be filled with some of the merriest students; after all, they had a great, winning term, both in House Points and in Quidditch.

Because, obviously, she stood some sort of chance against things like man eating plants.
She gave him a quick once over. "You look okay. ... are you feeling alright though?"
It seemed to Milton that Anya thought Milton would just float away if she let go of him. He had to supress another chuckle, because she probably didn't find it as funny as he did. "It's okay," he said with a small smile, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze.
Milton nodded at her. "I'm fine. I feel fine." Unless someone ran into one of his bruises. That didn't feel too good. "You don't need to worry about me." Although it was rather endearing and it made him smile and feel happy things inside that he couldn't describe.
"Are you okay?" Maybe that was a better question to ask.

Anya gave a small nod. She quickly looked down at their hands and back to him again.
"You know that I'm going to do that anyway." Worry. It's what she did. Especially when someone was nearly eaten.
Was she okay? What kind of question was that?
"Me?" Nothing happened to her. "Minus going absolutely mental trying to check on you, I'm perfectly fine." And yes. She had been going crazy since the second she heard the news.

Sigh. There were those happy... feelings again. When she said she was going to worry about him anyway. It was silly, but it made him smile because she cared about him so much. "I know, I know. And you'll never stop. Even if you're the one knocking me out." He eyed her for a second before reaching over and grabbing his water goblet, noticing a fourth year from his house, and taking a sip of water.
He set his cup back down as she spoke. "Well, you were slightly mental before, so I'm sure that's nothing." Milton gave her a teasing smile and a nudge to the arm. SEE? He was fine. A-Okay. Super duper.

Anya smiled. "Hey. You deserved that." she replied. And he did. Stupid boy thought it was acceptable to play quidditch with head injuries. It really wasn't her fault that Milton required someone to knock him out when he shouldn't be playing.
Stupid badge. It made him all... overly loyal and overly responsible.
She then laughed lightly. "Don't pretend you don't like it. It makes me interesting."
Yup. She wasn't even going to deny she was a bit mental.

Milton rolled his eyes a little, but couldn't help but laugh. Anya was very protective over him, but he had to be grateful or else he probably wouldn't have made it out of Hogwarts alive. "Whatever." Another NUDGE. "Let's not bring up this argument again. BecauseI'mrightandyouknowit."
Anya didn't even deny that she was mental? Milton laughed. "Yes, but you have several other things going for you, don't worry." One of them being she kept him smiling. That was a plus.

Anya gave a dramatic eyeroll. "Fiiiine. But only because you deserve to win just one argument against me in your lifetime. So congratulations." She then flashed him a cheeky grin.
She smiled and gave a small happy bounce in her seat. "D'aww. How sweet." she said. "And I don't really worry when it comes to you, anyway. I know you like plenty of things about me." They were what they were for a reason after all.
She then squeezed his hand once more. "So... you promise you're okay? No... post-traumatic stress or... anything...? Because. It's fine if you do." She actually had experienced a little first hand last term. "Because... we can talk, if you need to. Or want to. Or whatever."

.... Milton narrowed his eyes. She was right. AGAIN. Which totally defeated his unworthy triumph from ten seconds before. What was it with Anya Phillips and always being right? It wasn't fair. "Punk," he muttered quietly, but loud enough so she could hear.
Chuckling, Milton shook his head. She was adorable. "I know. You're my little potato." GRIN. They were two weirdos and totally crazy about each other.
Siiiigh. There she was worrying again. "Yes, Anya, I promise I'm fine." And he didn't have post-traumatic stress... Yet. Maybe it hadn't set in yet. Maybe he was still in shock or something and the nightmares about man eating plants and exploding professors and stuff would come later. But he certainly hoped not. "Talk...? About what? Plants?"
Aurora was sitting among her housemates at their table. She was really enjoying everyone's excitement that they won the housecup and the quidditch cup. It was only her second year so she was relatively new to all the celebration that went on in the End of term feast.
She piled her plate with food and tucked in.

Vickers, Vivi, Bee (and then maybe a bit more of the Vs at the end)
Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict
For all of Kendall's wide-eyed confusion at what she had walked into, it seemed like some people had even more of it. At least, Vickers had only given her an odd look in response to her congratulations, whic h immediately made her feel like maybe she had said the wrong thing. Either that or she was just in the wrong place, but then, she was at her own house table. She was supposed to be here, at least. At the table. She had the weirdest feeling she was witnessing something she both shouldn't be and also wasn't anywhere close to understanding, though, so the wide eyes didn't go away. And she just continued watching the older boy, ignoring the possibility that a tinge of dark, dark blue was starting to appear at the tips of her hair as her confusion and concern kept growing, along with the feeling that maybe she should just go hide at one of the other tables. Even if Patrick wasn't there, she could find someone who wasn't looking like they were expecting everything to shatter into she had no idea what. Maybe she could find a Hufflepuff. Logan, or any of the others that she'd talked to. Even Abby. A random argument about how the older Puff was and always would be better than her would make more sense than this. Whatever this was.
But then she noticed Vivi wiggling her fingers at her along with giving her a tiny smile, and she'd turned to the blonde with a tiny smile of her own at the words of gratitude. At least maybe that meant she hadn't said the wrong thing. Chocolate wasn't going to help her much if she'd said something stupid, after all, and her sugar rush had definitely ebbed with all the confusion. "You're welcome," she said simply, even as her hazel eyes flickered between the blonde and her unknowing Arithmancy helper again. And that faltered as Beezus had returned her greeting, and she turned her glance to her friend even as the brunette had released Vivi from the headlock hug at the blonde's request. At least someone didn't entirely look like things were breaking apart or about to, and a brighter yet no less genuine smile had gone to her fellow almost fifth year. Even as she still kind of felt like she should just go away.
She hadn't however, even as it seemed like things had gotten even worse. At least, something had gone on with the seventh years and she just went back to feeling awkward. And Beezus was now accusing Vivi of having done something to Vickers, so maybe she wasn't the only one completely confused. She wasn't about to join in on accusations, though, when technically she only knew both of them from classes. Beezus had the Quidditch connection, or whatever it was. Kendall just had a few entirely random conversations with them to stand as evidence of any sort of connection, but she still felt sorry for them for whatever it was that was wrong, and she chewed her lower lip a little as she tried to figure out what to do. She could only think of one thing, and honestly she didn't even know if it would work.
Either way, she dug in her pocket for a second or two before pulling out two of the chocolate frogs she still had left from the last visit she'd made to the kitchens with Patrick, and reached forward to set them on the table sort of between where Vivi had her head down and where Vickers was sitting looking stricken. "Um, I don't know what's wrong, but here. Chocolate is supposed to make people feel better, isn't it? It's not a lot, but maybe it'll work," she said quietly, before looking away to see if she could find somewhere to sit. She didn't want to stay and intrude on things when she didn't know what they were, but she also wanted to know if either of them would acknowledge her attempt. Lots of people would say that her giving away chocolate was miraculous anyway, but she could give it up if it might help.

Ahhh, foood <3 That was the only reason that Ronnie loved coming to the feasts, really... heh heh.
Ronnie laughed at what he said. She then shrugged. "Eh, I've been okay I guess." she said. "What about you?"
"I've been pretty good, thanks! What about you?" Ronnie asked, noticing the eager look on Ameliah's face. Hmm... she wondered what that was about...
"You excited to head back home? And see LOOOOGAAAAN?" she asked with a wink and a grin, nudging her friend playfully in the shoulder. "I owled him a few days ago. He really misses you." she said.
As Ronnie sat with her friends, she glanced around the hall at all the students. As she was doing so, she noticed Adam making his way over. She couldn't help but smile widely at the sight of him. Merlin's Beard...he looked so...perfect....*_* Just the way his hair was...and the way his eyes seemed like they were sparkling...and his smile...it was making Ronnie's heart beat really fast.
Ronnie blushed slightly as he called her beautiful. Ugh, she hoped all this blushing would stop soon...it was kind of embarrassing! "Hey, cutie," she replied with a giggle, kissing him back.

Harvey smiled at Ariana and nodded "Yeah I can see why you say that, it has been its usual dangerous place. But that is Hogwarts.. would be pretty boring without a bit of danger.. but yeah I agree we do need a break from it now." yeah and be able to hang out without having to worry about any sort of danger now. Be able to have alot of fun too.. from morning... until night.. no darn curfews and all that.
He was kinda glad she didnt start anything right now, not in front of this many people. He listened as she talked with Minnie... ahh yes,... Logan. Of course she would be missing Logan, well it would be the same with him and Ella.. he would miss her too right? Right....

Well, not really, but he definitely didn't expect such an enveloping hug. Grinning a little, the boy wrapped one arm around his prefect and gave her a few pats on the back before pulling away.
Mascara running..? Oh no, no no no.. he didn't want her to tear up. "Oh.. I didn't mean to make that sound all mushy, or anything.. just had a few things I wanted to let you know before term was officially over." Grin. See..? Smiling, happy.. The boy beamed at her as she continued. "Yeah, Ravenclaws make a great team.." He couldn't really think of one he didn't like.. they all seemed to make such a great little community. "And we'll get that House Cup next year and make you proud." That had done so well with that this term and had it right up till the end. Chuckling at her words, he nodded. "I know, I know.. I didn't mean to make it sound that way.. And I'll write.." Not that he was the best correspondent, but Louisa made him a little nervous right then with that look.. and he did not fancy a howler from her. "So what are your plans for after Hogwarts?"
SPOILER!!: Minnie, Harvey, Ari, Damon, Belle, Ronnie, Am (sorry if I missed someone, lol)
Ethan grinned at Ariana's words and chuckled a little. "Good.. I'll look forward to that." He wasn't worried.. he didn't really have anything to hide.. and figured she'd get to know him well enough over the summer, since Minerva was planning on spending a lot of time at her house. Oh, all summer.. Ethan turned to look at Minerva at her words. "Oh, right.. I remember you telling me that.. Sounds like you'll have fun, just don't get into too much trouble," he told her jokingly with a little wink. Turning back to Ariana, he added, "You won't mind if I stop by for a visit once or twice then?" Because no way was he going all summer without seeing Minnie.
He then looked over at Harvey as he spoke. "Oh.. near London then? I have family near there as well.. I'll probably stay there if I get my internship." And it would be nice if he heard about it soon.. like any time now.. so he could actually finalize some of his summer plans. "Well, you live closer than I do," he added with a chuckle. "I live in Germany.. Heidelberg to be exact. Though if I apparate with mum or dad, the distance doesn't make much difference," the boy said with a shrug. That's how he got here near the start of term and it took mere seconds.
Ethan gave the newest member of the group a chuckle as Minerva introduced them. Famous..? "Well, I don't know about famous," he began with a grin. "But yes, I'm Ethan.. Good to meet you, Am." Or, Ameliah.. as she called herself? She seemed cool enough.. and funny that he didn't know her though they were both Ravenclaws.. but he could easily blame that on being busy with OWLs and all that.
His eyes drifted over to the Staff table as the group talked about people and things he didn't really know and he turned on feeling a tap on his shoulder. "Oh, hi, Belle.." he smiled at the sight of the Hufflepuff prefect and returned her hug. "Of course.. can't leave without saying good-bye." She was the first friend he made at Hogwarts, after all. "So, have any fun plans for summer?"
And then another hugger joined their end of the table.. Oh! and he knew this one.. "Hey, Ronnie.." he shot the Gryffindor girl a grin, a little surprised that she knew everyone else there as well. "Happy to be done with all that studying, now?" He knew he was glad to see term come to end for just that fact.

She gave him a smirk knowing if anything else she was joking, but maybe he shouldn't tempt to see if she could be serious. Now that Taylor had left she felt herself relax a bit and able to enjoy the company around. She knew she would need to fix their friendship, but at the moment she just didn't know if she could trust her anymore or not.
Then he was being goofy about her comment,"Oh Harvs, you know who I'm talking about." She then really wondered what her exact plans were, she hated not knowing. "I have to make it to DA even if I don't stay in London, I have to get some books before going to my grandparents. We are almost fifth years Harvs, you know what we will be doing at the end of next term." She cringed a bit thinking about those exams. "So who is picking you up from the train station?" Minerva was kind of afraid to hit the station, she wasn't having anyone meet her.
Minerva tried to hold back her words she didn't want to fight with Damon and she knew she would never win this fight with him. They were so oblivious to how the behavior bothered others. "I'm not mad at you.. I just have found I don't trust her anymore. I felt like she was wording hugging wrong on purpose and I feel she is just trying to be center of attention, she seems to always has something wrong."Min knew that might have sounded harsh, but her frustration was at its limit with Taylor anymore.
"Anyway, camping sounds like a great way to spend your birthday and I want ideas for a gift, don't try to get out of this. Hey do you think Puck would mind if Ethan came along as well?" She hoped Damon wouldn't mind, but Ariana was going to be there, she didn't want to be a third wheel not knowing who else would be going.
Minerva looked up just has Ronnie hugged her. Hugging back Minerva smiled, "Hey Ronnie.. You ready for summer? Any big plans this summer?" She couldn't believe how little she saw Ronnie this term. That was strange for them, but so much had went on this term. "So how did your OWLs go Ronnie? Hope you didn't stress to much about them."
Minerva couldn't help but laugh a bit at Ariana, "Oh great.. I'll walk in and smile at Rowan, no.. no.. I should walk in and say Hey Daddy Rowan I'm home.." She busted up laughing thinking about Rowan's face. "I think that is going to start the summer with a blast just by itself." Not that she didn't like Rowan, she actually liked him and his sense of humor, she just knew they didn't see eye to eye the last few times together.
Minerva frowned, well if the friend didn't know, maybe give Harvs the benefit of the doubt and try to be friends, but she wasn't going to say anything. "Well I think you should try to find that answer out, something still just doesn't seem right to me with that situation." She wasn't sticking up for anyone, but at the same time she had her thoughts about it. "So what plans do you have this summer Am?"
Minerva laughed as he said not to get into to much trouble, "I don't think you have anything to worry about, I keep Ariana on the good side, so maybe it's a plus I'm staying with her." She was just joking of course and looked at Ariana grinning. "You know the first time I met Ari she put me upside down with her wand. It was an interesting first impression." Yes, she liked to remind Ariana how mean she was the first time they met, but it was under the bridge now and she couldn't imagine having someone else in that best friend spot. "Of course you will be over.. Ari would never make me suffer like that." She held his hand tightly, no there was no way she wasn't seeing him all summer.
Then she blushed a bit, everyone saying famous or the Ethan, maybe she did talk about him a bit much to her friends, but he always made her so happy. Looking at him she gave a little apologetic look on all the fuss over him, but she did have many great friends and of course they all wanted to know him. As everyone talked a thought came to her mind and she turned with a big smirk on her face. "So remember at the quidditch party how you were so sure about a certain cup... Looks like I was a bigger threat then you thought." She giggled and glanced at Harvey with this as well. Then there was someone else behind them, "Hey Belle.. didn't I just see you.." She teased her friend.
Adam:
Ameliah grinned. "Hey Adam! Long time no see," she joked. "And I told you... We just started arguing about you-know-what."
Ronnie:
She blushed as Ronnie mentioned Logan. "YES, actually, I've been dying to get back home." She missed him so much, she actually cried about it. Not that she'd mention it.... "And for the record, from what I've heard, you've been pretty better than just good." She jerked her head towards Adam. Wink wink, nudge nudge, ammiright?
Minnie:
Ameliah rolled her eyes again at Minnie, and was happy at the change of subject. "Not much. Not much of a planner." But she knew one thing- she will NOT leave Logan's side. For at least a week. wibble. "You?"
Ethan:
Ameliah laughed. "Well you may not, but I at least know you've gotten pretty famous." She said with another laugh. He seemed cool enough, but that didn't mean she still wasn't gonna find out more. "So how come we haven't met? We're in the same house..." Maybe Am just had to get out more or something.

It would be better if it didn't slide at all, but this allowed it to be tucked inside something long-sleeves. Vivi pushed her sleeve back up and rested wrist and bracelet on the table.
Was it weird to be comforted by the fact that he looked unhappy over the thought she'd be in danger? When her mother fretted, it just annoyed Vivi, but here was Vickers looking a bit stricken, and she found it charming. Not that she should, but then who ever said that emotions made sense, anyway? "I'll practice with it once we head home for the summer. It'll completely confuse Mo to get hexed with no wand in sight. You've given me new and creative ways to torment a nitwit." There now... no more talk of death and doom.
Her smile settled a bit, turning perplexed at the corners as he began to speak of the letter. That was the thing about Vickers... for someone who could be quite eloquent, he had so much trouble just saying what he meant lately. Vivi needed clear words, because figurative ones confused her. "You don't really understand. I mean... you understand what I'm saying on a cognitive level, but emotionally, how could you? I exiled myself to punish myself for hurting you and..." She nodded her head down at Louisa. "But in the library that day, you looked so sad. I can't stand thinking I made you that way." She'd wanted to protect him, but that had apparently hurt even more, and had spread to hurting Louisa too.
She tried to listen to what he was saying, but the press of bodies and voices around them was distracting, and the look on his face made her feel like someone had hollowed out her chest on the inside. She patted his hand under the table, trying desperately to keep up. He'd wished she hadn't made up his mind, because he'd already decided? But was that a subtle way of letting her down easily? Or was it...? That deadly chin wobble was back. "Just tear up the letter. I was being stupid anyway to think that I could give up on our... our friendship." Or whatever it was they had these days.
She became conscious that her hand was still on his, and Vivi gave a little start and pulled free. It didn't appear that she had his attention anymore, and she forced herself not to look down the table at Louisa again. Nothing like being stared at to make a girl feel even more suspicious. Vivi put her head down on the table, pressing her cheek against the cool wood and covering her face with her arm so that any tears that might leak out as a result of this excess of confused emotion and guilt and frustration wouldn't be seen. "She knows, Vick. I'm so sorry."
His gaze flitted quickly when Vivi nudged her head in Louisa's direction, gazing at the ginger gal a little longer than necessary before shifting his attention back to the blonde. Are they actually arguing about how deeply or not he understood her? "I know that you did it to keep yourself from continuing... whatever you felt caused me to react that way in the library... and believe me, I tried seeing it from your point of view. I read your letter so many times I can practically say it word for word, but do you understand what I'm trying to say?” he murmured, his voice dropping down to almost a whisper ”You chastised yourself for a fault, as noble as that may be, but have you ever considered that consequences of your own self-punishment has affected other people?... that you’ve applied the same punishment on me-- or whoever else you’ve cut yourself off to? I will tell you Vivi, that day in the library, you seeing me struggling... none of those were your fault, they're MY demons to deal with so stop-- and he trailed off. He turned his head away and grew silent trying to keep his pulse down, his insides starting to churn. Mouthing off that her attempts with making things better was actually making things worse for him wasnt going to help anybody....
.... specially if they're whispering convo seems to be taking the attention of everybody.
He felt her hand on his under the table, and his gaze returned to her face. He said nothing, but his eyes said it all--he will never forget that letter Genevieve Branxton. How could he, when despite the anguish it caused him, its whats given him the courage to sit there and talk to her... and is finally making him come to terms with his demons?
Suddenly it looked like Vivi fainted.. but not. Distracted, disoriented, desperately trying to feign normality, he peered over her just when she mumbles out the words She knows. He blinked back confused for a second, mumbling "Who kno--" and then it hit him....
.... his gaze flies to Louisa, and suddenly her lack of emotional response to his gift, her furtive glances at their direction started to make sense....
Beezus had that tone, Kendall was putting something on the table... none of those could shake the feeling like he’s been cast the body-bind spell and was twisting something invisible around his throat. He gaze at Louisa-- confused? afraid?... and unable to tear his eyes off her, he murmured to the blonde ”What exactly does she know?”

She chuckled, not wholeheartedly since her mind was crowded with inexplicable notions, and waved his worry off. "It wasn't mushy. I am mushy today. It's just... everything you know. I suddenly am not so eager to leave all of this." Putting a strand of her hair behind her ears and staring distractedly at the table in front of her. Oh he was promising her too! Louisa let her face soften at his words and nodded, "I believe in you guys. And even this year, I don't think there's anyone prouder than I am with my housemates this moment." They supported her, gave her strength to be at her full potentials when things were being cruel and illogical.
Her smile was slightly bigger. Good, by the end of the summer she'd be drowned with letters. Maybe she should get a part-time job just to get time writing to every single one of her left friends? "There is my independent life plans and my academic plans." Louisa folded her hands and used them to rest her head, looking at Ethan sideways. "Find a job and move to a place of my own." She apparently digs independence, maybe the consequences are still vague but this year she proved even to herself that she could be responsible. "Academically, I'm not decided on a college yet. But I will as soon as I save some cash." She paused and deflected the question to him, "Any special summer plans for you?"

"So I'm gonna get to see you every summer and whenever I come home for Christmas?" Because that would be a pretty sweet deal if she couldn't have Louisa at school all the time. That thought actually earned Louisa a small grin.
After hearing that the head girl was planning on moving to her own place, Lily leaned in close and whispered her next sentence very quietly. "Is Vickers gonna move in with you?"The third year looked up at the head girl to try and see her reaction. Benjy's now fiance was going to be moving in with him... But Lily kinda thought that this situation was a bit different than Benjy's. And plus, Louisa seemed like she wanted to be on her own.
Before answering the older ravenclaw's questions, the third year reached down and pulled her bag onto the seat next to her. Once it was next to her, the claw turned back to Louisa. "I didn't like all the scary stuff that kept happening this term. But it was alright otherwise." Lily kinda grin/smirked up at her older friend before turning back to her bag.
"Here." She said, plopping a decent size box down on the table in front of Louisa. "This is my gift to you for being my older sister and graduating from Hogwarts." This was something Lily had been working on since Christmas as she wanted everything to be perfect including the little painting Lily had worked on in her spare time. The third year grinned as she waited for the head girl to open her gift.
Louisa nodded firmly and with the same subtle friendly smile on her face, "We sure will." But the seventh year didn't dare to promise anything. For all she knew, Louisa might be working her head off trying to pay rental and get into a respectable college. She was going to do her best to see Lily as much as possible though. Lily was her baby project, so to speak. This grin on the girl's wet face was enough to put the head girl's pain on pause, and made her smile back at her.
Huh? Vickers? The seventh year's smile twitched and she had to fake a chuckle before trying to give a diplomatic answer. "We didn't really talk about this. But he lives in America, big fancy house and all." She waved her hand, "I'm not sure he's sure about his after school plans. We... uhh.. we didn't have time to talk thoroughly about it." Did she sound defensive? Or maybe out too much emphasis on this small question? Louisa had to rub her nose's bridge a bit to clear her head.
This issue was messing with her head.
"Yeah, I didn't like all the scary things either. But everything's over now." She wasn't really sure though, the ghosts seemed very concerned about Isfret to be gone forever. What if he found another way in? "But Spike will keep a good eye on you all, along with whoever is the next Prefect." She trusted Spike at least.
As Lily pulled out the cute box from under the table, Louisa's face lost any trails of tension and pretense to be happy. Those kind gestures were not making it easy for her to just get on with this night. She pulled the box closer and opened it slowly, "You didn't have to do this, Lily honey." OHH! A beautiful painting. "Wow." She picked it up and stared at it for a moment, her fingers tracing over the beautiful flowers. "This is beautiful." Then there was a very cute scarf. She took it out and spread it across her lap, "I'm sure this one will come in handy!" More eager now she pulled out the last thing folded in the box and her chuckle echoed loudly at what was written on the t-shirt. "Aw, Lily, that's very sweet of you!" She leaned closer and wrapped her arms tightly around the younger redhead. Words failed her. "Thank you."

He wasn't as eager to get the feast over with, but it was easier to just agree than communicate his actual feelings.
...Friendly talk? This time it was Max's turn to poker face, since he knew the kind of conversation that was going on between Vivi and Vickers. Or, at least, he assumed, considering the information Vivi had just shared with him about the situation with Vickers. "I think so," he replied quietly. And he left it at that. Because, honestly, it was probably friendly... but... Max was still weary of Vickers' gift-giving.
Oh. Spike had... presents for them? Really? Max gave Louisa a smile at her eagerness and followed suit by offering a nod to Spike. "Sure, bud. You didn't have to, though." [/color]

At points the snoring was unbearable. "Surely you've been..." He was going to say 'back in the dorms', but a frown flickered across his face. "You've not just been up studying all hours of the day, have you?" Was that why she had that slighty shifty look? Because she was sleep-deprived from studying and Prefect Patrols?
He would have quite happily taken some more on, if he'd known. Louisa had supported him when he was out of sorts...he'd quite happily do the same back.
...
Present momentarily put to one side, Spike glanced between the two seventh years again. Yup, something was most definitely up with them. And as close as he was with them both, it was times like this that he felt the odd one out. His eyes followed Louisa's gesture towards Vivi and Vickers. "Not being overly close to either of them, I'd say it looks amicable enough..." he said, confused as to where Louisa was leading with that question. a quick glance back said Max wasn't giving much away either. Had there been a falling out between them and Louisa wanted them to make up before the end of term and they went their separate ways? "It doesn't appear to be going badly, if gift giving is going on, at least..." he said, turning back to the Head Girl as his pushed his glasses back up his nose (again).
He gave a skeptical look at Louisa as she announced she was ready for her present. He wasn't sure if really wanted distracting from the happenings down the table or not. But seeing as Max had agreed too, Spike proceeded to pull his wand from his robes before turning the pots round to check the labels as to whose was whose.
"This one is yours, Louisa," he said, carefully placing the apparently empty blue pot in front of her. With a tap of his wand, however, the true contents revealed themselves. The pot was full of pale blue, almost lilac in places, chiming bluebells. And nestled in between them was a small carved wooden Eagle. "One of my hybrids," Spike explained, his smile showing just a hint of pride. "I thought it'd be a nice addition for your new place. They're less noisy than the commercial ones, making a gentle calming sound as you brush past. They've also got a better scent." If you were into that kind of thing...
And with that done, Spike passed Max his 'empty' pot. "I thought of giving you some of my honking daffodils, to remind you of my distinctive alarm clock in the dorms," the Prefect said with a chuckle, "but I figured this was more appropriate..." He gave the pot a light tap of his wand, and a Polypody fern appeared. Amongst the frongs, the was something else - a wooden carved figure on a broom. More than just a figure: a Keeper. If you looked closely, you might even think it resembled Maximus James himself. Or was it least trying too. Spike wasn't that good with either knife or wand carving just yet. But he was getting there.
He hoped they liked them. Spike had tried to think pretty hard about what might be good, or thoughtful or relevant - and most definitely personal from him. "Not the best for packing, of course..." he said with a crooked smile. He hadn't thought that far ahead. He looked away, almost shyly. Yes, he wanted to know what they thought - but at the same time, what if judgement had failed him? What if they didn't like them?
It was as he glanced away he saw Beezus give him a wave. He returned it was a small smile. Things weren't quite back to the way they'd been before, but they were on the floo network to recovery. He might have even blushed a bit at the use of 'stud'.
Because Max was doing this scary full-on looking into her face, literally making her feel his eyes seeing right through her veils, Louisa forced her eyes to stay on Spike. He was very peaceful today and she could stare at him all day. Even if it'd make him freak out and blush. His question about her spending all night studying made her blink, taking few extra seconds to understand where he got this idea from. Then she shrugged slowly, "No biggie." It wasn't what she meant by her earlier words but there was no point explaining the whole miserable situation now. No one could help her, she was on her own.
Her greyish blue eyes were back on the Ravenclaw couple as Max and Spike answered her question. The former boy gave a concise answer while her co-Prefect was more comfortable with projecting his POV. Louisa simply nodded very slowly, during which Vickers looked their way and their eyes almost met if it wasn't for the head girl's head snapping toward her two companions. She didn't want him to see her staring at them! "Yeah, you're probably right.." Her hands were nervously folding and unfolding in her lap. Maybe the three of them should go bid professor Vee goodbye on behalf of their house?
Spike's gifts first though! Louisa sighed, relieved, at the change of subject and the fake grin quickly faded into a genuine excitement when the Ravenclaw boy put a pot in front of her. "Dirt?" She asked lightly before he tapped it and stunning lilacs and chiming bluebells. "Merlin's beard! This is so..." she breathed, her hands floating around the moving bluebells, afraid to ruin them and yet eager to touch the cute little bell-flowers. "... impressive. I will definitely make sure this goes to my new place!" When Louisa leaned in slightly, she sniffed the subtle sweet smell and her smile grew bigger. This was very Spike and very special! Oh wait... was there something else? Her fingers gingerly picked up the wooden eagle inside the pot.
Sniff. Sniff.
"You guys! It's hard to keep a firm attitude when you're being so touching and cute. Come here." The wooden figure was back inside the pot in a second and she streeeeetched across the table looping her arms around Spike's and Max's necks.Sniff. The edge of the table was stabbing her but she didn't care, her emotions were acute already without these caring gestures. "Thank you so much." SNIFF.
"Talk...? About what? Plants?"
Presley was too impatient to wait for Elliot. Who knew where that girl was? So in a move of sudden bravery she moved down the bench until she was across from the Quidditch captian. "Milton!" she exclaimed as if she hadn't been watching him for the past five minutes. "I heard about you and that plant. I'm glad you're okay. Too bad about professor Burbage and professor Chrisiansen though."
It most certainly wasn't too bad as far as Presley was concerned. She'd intensely hated the woman. But it seemed like the right thing to say. She had liked professor Christiansen well enough, but not well enough to be too upset he was gone. Of course, it was shocking and tragic, but she wasn't about to cry over it.
Remembering that Milton's girlfriend was next to him and she needed to be polite Presley smiled at the girl. Anya? Presley thought that might be her name, but she didn't want to risk it in case she was wrong. Instead she held out her hand across the table. "Presley Black," she introduced herself. Even if she was in love with Milton Shaklebolt she didn't want his girlfriend to dislike her. She wasn't a boyfriend stealer. She just hoped that Milton fell hopelessly in love with her, and broke up with the other girl.
Watching how they interacted though, it didn't seem very likely.

He looked at her as she asked him the same question back "I have been good.. been doing the usual classes and homework and stuff" as well as hanging out with Ella every opportunity he got of course! He nodded "Yeah I did enjoy the term" well any term spent hanging out with your girlfriend is going to be very enjoyable "How about you? Did you enjoy the term too?" he asked her back.. cause everyone was supposed to enjoy the term despite the workload.
"Yeah, I know!" Ronnie said, taking a look around the Great Hall. "It's weird to think I won't be here in two years..." she mumbled as she continued looking around at the magical ceiling and the students and professors around her. "I wonder where I'll be after I graduate..." she thought to herself as she turned her attention back to Harvey as he spoke. She laughed. "It was the same way with me! They seemed so far away, so I felt relieved...like I wouldn't have to worry about them for a while. But then...time just went by so fast." she shook her head, laughing again.
A smile spread across her face as Harvey told her how he was doing and how his term went. "That's good to hear, Harvs!" she said. She then nodded. "Yeah, of course I enjoyed it! Except for the OWLs and work of course." she said with a laugh. Yeaaaah...those hadn't been much fun.

Ronnie nodded. "Heck yes I'm ready!" she said with a grin. Of course she was ready! No more work! No more studying! No more worrying about OWLs! IT WAS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!
She then shook her head. "No plans so far." she said with a small shrug. She never really did anything fun in the summer...she normally just stayed home or hung out with friends or go to Diagon Alley. "What about you?" she asked. "We have to hang out sometime this summer." she added with a firm nod. They HAD to! Ronnie missed hanging out with Minnie.
"They went pretty okay," Ronnie said, "I wasn't too stressed." she laughed. It had been quite crazy with all the studying and all...

She rolled her eyes. "Oh Merlin..." she said, her cheeks turning a little red. Great, if Ameliah kept this up Ronnie's face would turn into like a tomato...
Ronnie then saw Taylor...who didn't look okay. She watched as Taylor suddenly stood up and began to walk off. She cocked her head. "Taylor!" she said, hopping out of her seat and following her. Once she caught up to her, she grabbed the girl lightly by her arm and turned her around. She looked at her, concern on her face. "Hey, you alright?" she asked.
"No, Im not." She yanked her arm out of Ronnie's grip. "Minnie is being argh!" Tay pouted and whimpered some.

As the seconds drew on after her setting the chocolate frogs down, Kendall honestly was starting to think that she needed to stop offering chocolate to her housemates. At least Logan and Hannah had actually ackowledged the offer, and thanked her for it, but she'd already had Mika act like she hadn't offered it back when they'd all been locked out of the common room, and now Vickers had barely even noticed. Either something was very wrong, or her fellow Claws just didn't appreciate how hard it was for her to actually give up chocolate. Especially when she was trying to help, and the dark blue just kept creeping slowly up from the ends of her hair as she glanced between Beezus, Vickers, and Vivi, who still had her head down on the table so should have realized there was a chocolate frog practically an inch away from her nose. At least the frogs were being uncharacteristically docile and not moving, which had distracted her for a moment. Either their charms had worn off, or it understood how weird the moment was.
She had just decided the charms had probably worn off when a really weird gurgly sound had bubbled up from Vivi. Almost a laugh, but still just weird and confusing and definitely breaking through the silence that had settled over their little bubble of space at the table, and she had turned her head toward the blonde only to find herself enveloped in a hug. Um, okay, she thought, listening as Vivi had spoken to her, trying to explain what was wrong. "I know that, but...," she said, glancing over at Vickers again as she was finally released and Beezus was now the one getting the Vivi-hug. Definitely a lot of emotions going around, but she was still confused. It was about leaving, but Vickers was innocent of something. Either way, she dug in her pocket and bit into another piece of chocolate as the attention was back even the tiniest bit on her. The other frogs were still Vickers' and Vivi's if they wanted them, but she wanted chocolate too if they were moving to join the others.
Especially as there was another pause as Vivi had gone back to talking to Vickers, and she used her chocolate to keep her from listening in to figure out what was going on. Which was good, as next thing she knew, she was being herded down the table toward the other group, along with Beezus and, she assumed, Vickers. "Um, hi!," she said awkwardly to the other older students. The Head Girl, the other prefect, and everyone else who was currently being nuzzled by Vivi. She definitely didn't have enough chocolate in her pockets for them all, if they were going to be all upset too. But then, hopefully the speech was going to happen soon and they'd get other food too. Whenever Headmistress Truebridge stopped screeching for something to be killed, and her gaze flickered back toward the staff table. This was definitely a weird feast.

Everyone is leaving, and some of us aren't coming back."
Sort of true. True enough, at least. She released Kendall and tugged Beezus into a hug next. "He's innocent. I'm just being silly. Now then... let's go join the party." She nodded down the table to where Max and Louisa and Spike were sitting. This was beginning to be too much about her, and she would rather share the evening with her friends.
She leaned in to give him a hug too, since the girls had just received theirs, and her mouth pressed close to his ear. It was impossible to put his mind at ease, but if she could keep him from blundering about or saying something that would hurt himself or Louisa, then Vivi would offer all the help she could. "What I told you in the library, and about the letter." But not at all about... his demons, as he'd put it. Not hers to tell. Not hers to understand, although there was a little warm spot in her stomach that hadn't been there before. Ever.
"Will you wait for me at the barrier tomorrow? I want to see you before we leave," Vivi pulled back and clapped his arm a bit more heartily than necessary. She needed to talk to him again, but she wasn't going to do it with an audience. Even if it was just long enough to check in, she didn't want to close the book on Hogwarts without seeing him again.
But for now... Vivi plucked at his sleeve to rise before herding Beezus and Kendall down the table toward the other seventh years and Spike. "We've made up," she informed Louisa with a pert nod of her ponytail before sliding in next to Max and nuzzling his shoulder.

First he thought Vivi fainted, then she was mumbling, then suddenly she was up and giving Beezus and Kendall a hug. Was he so disoriented he's hallucinating in all of this? But then Vivi turned and embraced him, whispering the answer to his ear.
.... Seriously if Vivi's arms wasnt around him he might've face-planted on the table himself.
Louisa knows the library and the letter. His features darkened considerably. He wanted to tell Louisa about all that, as it is but fair to her that she knows firsthand since she was his girlfriend. But now he's stuck playing catchup-- or is that defense?
But before he can ask Vivi any more about how the ginger gal found out she was saying about meeting her at the barrier "I.... ok." he mumbled before having the group join Max, Spike and Louisa. Will he actually make it to the wall in one piece? Who knows.
Then there was this SHRIEKING at the Staff table, and he turned his head to figure out what the commotion was about. Something about the Headmistress and a frog. Great, he might end up being turned into one of those before the feast is over...
With Kendall's chocolate frog fumbled nervously between his fingers he sat himself across the Head Girl, finding the strength to look at her even when his insides were churning. He tried to speak but realized his throat has dried up completely, and reached out for a drink before a shaky hand returned the glass next to his plate. Clasping his hands together under the table he muttered feebly "Y-You all set? I'll help bring your things to the platform and the train." He needed to talk to her. And her alone.

Reason: forgot to add something...
Ronnie grinned as she noticed the blush on Ameliah's cheeks. "Awww, well he's really excited to see you. He'll probably just die when he sees the train arrive at the station." she said laughing. They were the cutest couple EVER...it was adorable how much Logan loved Ameliah. He had said to Ronnie in a letter that he'd be at the station waiting for Ameliah first thing in the morning. Crazy kid...
She rolled her eyes. "Oh Merlin..." she said, her cheeks turning a little red. Great, if Ameliah kept this up Ronnie's face would turn into like a tomato...
Ameliah's eyes widened. "HE'SGONNAWAITATTHESTATIONFORME?!?" She grinned so much she thougt her cheeks would fall off. He was just the SWEETEST. THING. EVER! "Well I know that the first thing he's getting is a giant hug."And maybe a wet shoulder.
Am chuckled. "So... It's official? You guys are...?" Cos she was sure they were dating, but she didn't know if it was that or they both just reeeeeeally like each other.
Ronnie frowned. "Minnie...?" she asked, glancing back at everyone at the table, wondering what had gone on. Darn, she should have been there to help sort things out...she hated when people fought and all that rubbish. It made Ronnie MAD.
She turned back to Taylor, a confused look on her face. "What happened?" she asked.
Tay looked up at Ronnie, "She glared at me when I smiled at Ethan. I mean he is really nice and cool but I dont like him. I barely know him so it isnt like I will try to steal him. I dont steal boyfriends anyways. I am happily dating Brodie." Taylor sighed, "Minnie says I am just hanging on ALL the boys here." Tay rolled her eyes. "I mean there was the whole thing with me saying the wrong word. I mean come on, English isnt my first language! I hug Max, Harvs and Damon but Max and Damon are my family and Harvs could as well be my brother because that is how we feel about each other! We are friend siblings and that is it." Tears were streaming down her cheeks.
There was a screech. It didn't stop so Louisa turned her head toward the source and saw the headmistress jumping and almost landing in professor Vee's lap. Because of a frog in her goblet. Ew. Lazily the Ravenclaw turned her head back toward Max and Spike to find the others joining them.

And Vivi announcing that they've made up. "Cool." It was. No, really it was cool they worked out their differences or whatever it really was. It would be really tough to split at the last two days in Hogwarts.
Then there was a rather awkward younger Ravenclaw joining them too. "Hi." Louisa saw her around a lot but she forgot her name. Something related to Aurora was in her name. If she wasn't so poker face-y and uninterested with everything around her, she would've remembered.
Vickers was sitting across from her too. Why was she sitting with two blank spots on either sides of her? Was it because Spike's pot and Lily's gift box were occupying the space? Whatever. Everyone could sit wherever they wanted. Louisa went back to playing with her spoon, not looking at anyone in particular until her boyfriend spoke to her. "I don't need help, thank you. I've done it a dozen times before." She wasn't snapping or being rude, her tone was very casual and bored. Also she didn't think it was necessary to directly look at him, his reflection on her spoon would do.

She was declining his offer. Heck she wasnt even looking at him. His stomach churned even worse, it would be doubtful if he could ever keep any of their dinner down, the irony that he was looking forward to this last feast "I... I insist..." he uttered back, still keeping his gaze on her face "I.. I know its easy for you but, but its no trouble for me its..... " he was starting to panic. He paused for a moment to gulp down his nerves before speaking again "I'd like us to share a compartment, we got... a lot of talk about, summer plans and stuff right?" he mumbled towards the end.
Imagine that. Vickers was being stubborn.

Ronnie laughed, nodding. "Yup! That's what he told me!" she said. She laughed again at what she next said. "Aww, I'm sure he'll just love that." she said with a smile.
She nodded. "Yeah, we are." she answered, smiling shyly.

This summer is gonna be the best yet. Or at least Lily thought since Benjy was going to be around as was Louisa. The third year turned toward her older claw friend and gave her a hug. It was nice to have someone who acted like an older sister in your life and for Lily, the head girl fit that role.
Uh...oh... it seemed like this was touchy subject with the seventh year. "He lives in America? And he comes all the way here to Hogwarts?" Oops.. maybe she shouldn't have asked more about Vickers for now.
"Is it really all over now?" The redhead asked, looking up at the head girl's face with big blue eyes. She really wanted it to all be finished now. "Who do you think will be the next prefect?" The third year didn't really know anyone between her year and Louisa's in Ravenclaw, except for the few on the Quidditch team.
As Louisa started opening her gift, Lily beamed. "But I wanted too because you're the best older claw ever." Or at least that's what the redhead thought. The painting was up first. "I painted it myself.... they're forget-me-nots so that you don't forget me. You could put it on the wall of your apartment." Then the scarf came out. "My mommy knit that over Christmas." Last came the t-shirt. Which made Louisa laugh. "It has kitties on it because I know you like them since you have Viola and Cuddles. And it says big sister because you're like a big sister to me." Cue more tearing up. Lily was glad for the hug because she didn't want to let her 'big sister' leave. "I'm gonna miss you, Louisa. I don't want you to leave me..."
