Right. So... this was not how she'd been expecting her day to go. She'd been dreading telling him all of this and now she had and it was more awful than she'd even thought it would be. She knew that if August were the one telling her these things, she would be devastated.
".........No." She whispered. She stepped back quickly, stinging as if he had shouted at her. She probably had no right to feel hurt, but she did. She felt awful. "Sixteen, August. I'm sixteen years old and I'm terrified of love and I'm not even sure I know why." He could walk away at any moment and probably not talk to her again, much like this was the chance to tell him her indiscretions, this was also the time to tell him her secrets. Was it that easy for everyone else? "I know that I can honestly say I haven't been able to shake you. I tried, apparently too hard, but it didn't work." She sniffled, "I don't want to be without you anymore. I know you probably dont even want to talk to me anymore... but I hate it."
More sniffles, more tears, more worst person ever awards to Taryn Hayden. "I'm sorry, August."

Taryn didn't say anything else. She'd said too much already. She just blinked at him as he spoke. Did he really think that? Even after what she'd said and done? She could tell he was angry and upset and disappointed in her, but even still, he was sweet to her and she didn't deserve it at all. It was probably a good idea for them to go their separate ways, yes. He could decide if he wanted to never talk to her again, and if he didn't then she wouldn't blame him for it.
She just nodded and lip wibbled and watched him walk away and disappear. Under other circumstances, she would have been totally jealous of his legal apparation showoffyness, but that was the last thing on her mind at the moment.
She stood by herself for a couple of minutes before starting the long walk back to school.
Lana stopped for a moment as she heard a scream. Before she could even get a good look at just who was screaming, she was tackled. Staggering to keep her footing, she looked at her sister and smiled. "I've missed you too Silly Bean," she replied as she returned the hug. It had been a few days since they had really seen each other, but it was nice to see that unlike before; they were still on good terms.
"I'm actually on my way to get some things," she laughed softly at her twin's excitement. "Of course, but I might stop in for some books too." At least she could warn her sister before boring her to death with being stuck in a book store.
Laura looked at her twinnie and smiled, "Twinnie do you know we have both grown up a lot since we came here?" Laura smiled. "I'm actually starting to like it, being trusted more and I'm actually trying to stop my temper from getting the better of me." Laura hated her temper but sometimes she couldn't help it.
Laura giggled as Lana said she wanted to go for a book. "I was just going to the bookshop, I need a new book myself, I finished the last one I brought a couple of days ago." Laura smiled. "You can read it next if you want." Laura was sure that Lana would love it but she wasn't sure if Lana would have read it already.

Yeah he did. Tori and August had spent the thirty minutes prior to them Disapperating from his home in Paris arguing whether or not he could get them all the way to Hogsmeade in one try and he knew he could. Some friend, huh? Nah, they always argued like that.
Hmmm...should he stay with Tori that way the first time that he saw Taryn here at Hogsmeade since the awkward meeting they had had here about a month and a half ago, wouldn't be so bad or go meet his girlfriend on his own? "I think I'll stay with you until we meet up that way she doesn't get freaked out by me being here. We can assure her that we both were coming and it wasn't out of any of our ways." Maybe the village itself would make things awkward. She was acting weird in their letters continuing to appologize even though he had said he had forgiven her and the meeting they had had since then...the weird thing was, Auggie sort of liked that she felt bad. Not in an overly mean way, but just happy to know she was sort of wrong. But he didn't want her to have to keep doing that.

He smirked at Ariana and wondered what would have happened if he WAS late on purpose. He knew a lot of people who liked to be....what was it called? Latebly fashiony or something? All he knew was that people showed up late on purpose all the time! "Have you always been this demanding?" He asked, mockingly, making sure to add a wink at the end. He could hardly believe this was the girl that had been yelling at him that one time. Now she was one of his best friends! "My mum always makes me late! She had washed my jumper and I couldn't find it anywhere!" His mum knew what he had been planning to wear, it really was her fault!
And as soon as Ariana began dancing he couldn't believe his eyes! She was dancing for him! Really dancing! He wasn't sure if he could dance with her as in friendly hand-holding-twirling buuuuut he grabbed her hands cautiously anyway and continued dancing! Laughing far too much, he had to admit that this was the absolute best trip to Hogsmeade he had had yet! Not counting that last time with Minnie but that was a different situation.
Slowing down the dancing so that he could catch his breath, he held the small pain in his side (because Chris is unreasonably unhealthy) and beamed. "Best dance...I've ever...h-had!!"
"Well Maybe you should wash your own Jumper next time!" he did know how to wash his own clothes right!? he should. they were grownups Big kids now! they could wash their own clothes. yeah she was Positive of that.

He sighed over dramatically as he let her lock her arm into his. "Whatever you say Princess. One question, did you happen to know how to ride a bike?" Smirk.
Louisa had her hands in her pockets and her hair, for the first time this term, was loose behind her. Both of her cats were somewhere on this sidewalk, she didn't want to focus on anything this afternoon. For the past month all she did was studying, convincing a ghost to cooperate and making sure kids didn't roll over here in their sleep. Thank Merlin they were back to their common rooms. Only not so much since the man eating plant was still loose in the castle.
Not to mention the weirdness of her own boyfriend. A stressed out Vickers was very cagy and nervous she didn't want to push him into talking to her about it. Then there was crazy Vivi, who went wild on the quidditch pitch and snogged Milton right in front of Professor Vindy and headmistress Bunz.
All in all, Hogwarts was just as normal and insane as always and this town was blissfully peaceful.

"HELEN." Paulie stopped in his tracks and gaped a little. Well, she sure changed her look! Or maybe it was the fact that he hadn't seen her in over half a year. Or that she had a completely new hair color.
She was glaring at Cuddles licking the lamp-post when the name - no, HER name echoed all over the place. Louisa frowned and turned slowly to see who was this Helen and why was she-- "Paulie?" Her face dropped the frown and replaced it with an expressionless look. He was here? In Hogsmeade? Paulie bloody Foster? She continued to stare at him, contemplating whether this was her imagination or all the pressures dawning on her and projecting one of her old friends.
Oh heck, it IS him. She started moving toward him with a big grin and slammed into his body with a squeezing hug. "My gryffindork." She pulled away quickly and frowned again. "Idiot. You didn't say you were coming! How rude." One of her cats, the same that was licking the metal post rushed forward and stood at their feet. Meow. She wanted Louisa's attention tooooooo.
AHHH! It seemed so long since they'd met and taaaalked! But whyyyy? "Gosh, it's been so long! Since you went off to..." Did she even say goodbye when he went off to that slavery camp? The Ravenclaw was getting confused and puzzled the more she tried to link memories together. "Wait, I didn't... How.. wha--" GASP. "We're not allowed to talk." Uh oh.

Her excitement faltered when he said he was just saying hi. Louisa didn't want to just say hi to Paulie after six months in slavery camp! She wanted to hear more from him! And wanted to tell him a few more things; like, like how they had a scary entity in Hogwarts causing all sorts of chaos and how Vickers was being very stressed out for NEWTs and how this year pretty much sucked if it wasn't for four or three people in the whole school. "Well.. Okay." Awkward pause. "I was just walking off the stress. You can continue to your destination and I can.. accidentally walk on a parallel line with you." HEHE. "Unless you're going to meet Tori... then..." GAH. She hated the girl, hmph!

Her excitement faltered when he said he was just saying hi. Louisa didn't want to just say hi to Paulie after six months in slavery camp! She wanted to hear more from him! And wanted to tell him a few more things; like, like how they had a scary entity in Hogwarts causing all sorts of chaos and how Vickers was being very stressed out for NEWTs and how this year pretty much sucked if it wasn't for four or three people in the whole school. "Well.. Okay." Awkward pause. "I was just walking off the stress. You can continue to your destination and I can.. accidentally walk on a parallel line with you." HEHE. "Unless you're going to meet Tori... then..." GAH. She hated the girl, hmph!
Cuddles? HAH. Suuuuuuuch a girl name. And so Paulie grinned. "Gotcha." His smile widened a bit when he thought back to her birthday party and all the madness that that was. And then back to their crazy days at Hogwarts. Oh, nostalgia lane..
Does Tori have what..? Paulie looked down at the inside of her wrist to see a new rose tattoo. His eyebrows lifted and he gave a nod of approval. "That's pretty sick, Helen." And it really was. But he had to keep his jabs up. "But I think you're just trying to be Tori AND a little bit of me, see?" He lifted up his right shirt sleeve to show the cross tattoo on his forearm. Naturally, she'd seen this a hundred times before, anyhow. Paulie then simply gave an amused smirk and pulled his sleeve down again. "So, what's the meaning behind it?"

Hazel skipped onto the main street out of Hogsmeade with a good 10 chocolate frogs. She giggled as she remembered what Calli said. Make sure you stay responsible. Psh. Hazel was waaaaaaaaay responsible. See? She was already on her own for almost FIVE whole minutes. That deserves a chocolate frog, right?! BEAM. She opened the wrapper, putting the Merlin card in her pocket and the frog in her mouth.
Ascanius really hoped that he looked okay for today. He had gone back and forth quite a few times about whether or not he should have worn the beanie before he snuck out of Durmstrang to go and see his girlfriend during her Hogesmeade weekend. Ugh, that word was still really weird. As much as he liked using it and he used it as often as possible to get under Xerxes skin, he just was not sure he felt like a boyfriend. Things were supposed to be all different and they weren't. He still felt like he could never say the right things in front of her, like he still made an idiot out of himself and like she actually stunned him into silence sometimes with how beautiful she was- except he really meant that when it came to her. But TECHNICALLY as her boyfriend now all of those problems should have just melted away into white noise, yet they were still ever present. The knots in his stomach at the anticipation of seeing her was enough to clue him into that. Not that he would EVER tell ANYONE that. Because Ascanius was all man. He had the jaw of a greek god.

Penelope was never one to just fall off of the radar without telling him exactly what was happening. In fact, he was usually the forgetful one and she had to remind him what was going on. Details were not exactly his thing- he was a broad image type of guy. So without her sort of guiding him where to go in a place where he had only been once before, Ascanius was lost. Sure, he knew how to get back to Durmstrang, that was the easy part, but he did not know this place and was in serious need of some answers. The most important answer, though, was where was his girlfriend.
Penelope was the only reason he was in this place. Ascanius hated school in general so the fact that he was traveling to visit one school from another was a big enough deal already. And her going AWOL was not something he was fond of. His steel grey eyes looked out across the crowd of stupid guys who were all trying to prove that they were macho to whatever girl was in sight and girls who were all beautiful in their own way. Wink. Ladies. That was one thing that was universal. They were beautiful no matter where he went. 'Course he was partial to a certain brunette with an appetite for violence and, oddly enough, food.
As he continued to walk down the street, though, scanning the crowd for the girl he was looking for, he suddenly saw a face that brought a smirk to his face. Oh look, Anya's boy-toy was here. Ascanius had almost forgotten that he went here. In hindsight he should have seen that coming- Keller was extremely forgettable.
But what surprised him more then anything else was that Keller actually recognized who Ascanius was. Eh, Ascanius wasn't someone easily forgot. That much was obvious, so he supposed that he also should not have been surprised by the fact that he was spotted.
Not able to help himself, Ascanius smirked at Keller in a snarl kind of manner and quipped back, "What, no Anya today?" Weren't they sort of a packaged deal?

He half-expected the guy to get all mad and take the higher road by walking away, which was never actually taking the higher road. It was just avoiding confrontation because of fear. And Ascanius was stupid, fear was not in his vocabulary unless of course it came to heights, then it was a very real word. So when Keller walked over to him, he sized him up a little with his eyes- because men did that- and gave Keller a big, ol' smile.

His answer was a reason to smile, but he did not want to give Keller the satisfaction of acting all girly about his girlfriend who did tend to make him at a loss for English. When it came down to Penelope, Ascanius stripped away his dashing, charming, handsome and wonderful demeanor to reveal a much more serious side of himself. Then again, he was like that with everybody he cared about. Ascanius' friends? Forget about it. He was someone who would fight to the nail for them.

Yeah, Jake noticed how fast Ascanius let go of him once he turned around. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, and he slipped his hands back into his pockets. Smugly. He didn't say anything, though. He stood, rocking on the balls of his feet slightly, and watching Ascanius until he spoke again.
Was he... disappointed? "You'd think she'd tell you where she was though, wouldn't you?" If you were important to her... The thought hung in the air as Jake paused for a while, looking at Ascanius pointedly. "If you had planned to meet, you'd think she'd tell you if something came up." In all honestly, the poor girl was probably passed out in her bed fighting a major headache. And Jake felt bad. Really, he did. But he couldn't possibly pass up the opportunity to mess with Ascanius. It was too good.
...Wait. Hold up. Jake's eyes narrowed and his attitude instantly dissolved. "What does that mean?" Both of them? If he brought Anya into this again...
