Maxwell caught the grin but couldn't care, honestly all he could think about was how cute she was.

"Yes...really...No it was great...you're good at it...one of them best i've had honestly..." He said smirking and thinking what a little practice would do for her....hehe

Oh wow. Elliot thought he must be lying. But she didn't admit it...she simply shrugged and said, "Well, I mean. I AM Elliot Morganzo. I'm from a long line of totally awesomeness. So I guess it makes sense.." Suuuure.

She finished off her tea..."Hey! You need to ask me questions, Maxwell Lupin. I asked you all about your life!" And Elliot wanted to talk about herself...she knew she was vain, she didn't deny it!

Maxwell laughed a little. "I'm sure that's it..." He said still smirking a little. "You're just naturally good at everything.."

He looked like he'd forgotten something. "You're right...i do.." Hmmm questions. "What's your favorite song?" He asked trying to think of more questions..

Yep..Elliot was glad he caught on so quickly...

He wanted to know her favorite song? Hmm..."I like classical music..." she commented, while she tried to think...so many to pick from...hmm..."I like Beethoven the best, though, and I'd have to say his Moonlight Sanota..." if he had ever even heard it. Or was Beethoven Baroque? She couldn't remember...but it was really pretty..and intense. "I've always been attracted to the classics." Elliot was just one classy girl.

"What's yours?" Though Elliot doubted she would know it...especially if it was muggle music...

Maxwell liked her answer. He had a bit of an eclectic taste in music. "I'm not sure i've heard that one, but i never got too into Beethoven, If i'm listening to classical music i normally stick to something like Mozart, Beethoven always sounds so tragic to me..." He said with a shrug.

"Well, i've never really been able to pick one...there's so much good music out there." He knew it was a dumb answer but it was true. "But i'm the one answering the questions here.." He thought of another question. "Why did you become a vegetarian?" He asked.

Tragic..haha, really. Elliot shook her head slightly. "Maybe that's why I like it so much. Plus my piano tutor loved him, so I grew used to his..stuff." Yes, tragic music for such a tragic little soul..

Not. Elliot considered herself VERY happy right now. But when she listened to music...she wanted to be moved. And Beethoven seemed to do that the best.

"Oh, come on..." she said playfully, and she nudged him affectionately..he totally dodged that one! Not fair. Elliot had been forced to pick!

Oh...about the no meat thing.."Well, it's not nearly as interesting as you think. It's not the animals..I could care less.." really, she could. "When I was nine Father got in a protein kick..so all we had to eat for months and months and months was meat. Nothing else but meat. It was really weird...he's really weird...and after he went on his business trip, my mother let us eat anything we wanted...I was sick of meat. So I just ate fruits and vegetables...and then I realized I didn't like the flavor of meat..much. I do like Salmon, though, but I don;t think that counts as meat," since it came from the sea and all...which never made sense to Elliot, but who was she to question it?!

"I guess that makes sense...what you learn tends to stick with you.." He said with a shrug. Maxwell nudged her back all the same. "What do i have to answer my own question?" He asked.

"Hmm so you just don't like it?" He asked thinking that was good to know. "I didn't take you to be the type to be in it for the animals...in fact i would think it would be more about eating their food before they could." He said with a laugh at his own joke.

Another question... "What would you wanna do if you weren't so intent on being our most beautiful Minister of Magic? If there was something else you'd wanna do what would it be?" He asked, very curious.

Yes, he did. Elliot merely raised her eyebrows, though, maybe he could read her mind, no? He should probably get on that..speaking of..didn't her father say her legilimency lessens would start soon? eh, she pushed it away from her mind...focusing on Maxwell...

Pahahaha! Elliot laughed..."I like animals, don't get me wrong. but that's just it-they;re animals. Lesser than us. Not equal. So...yeah." she wasn't someone who fought for animal rights. They were animals.

She managed to grin at this...beautiful...Hmm..."Probably take over the business." The Morganzo business. But Elliot didn't want it. Unless...something happened to her brother in between now and when he would inherit it..then it would be rightfully Elliot's and she would feel like it rightfully belonged her, then she would be the rightful boss. But now? It wasn't looking that way. Her baby brother was healthy as ever...*sigh*

Maxwell sighed, knowing he had to answer. "If i had to pick, it would have to be 'Rangers' by A Fine Frenzy.." He said pretty sure she wouldn't know it.

Maxwell laughed and nodded. "I agree, they're just animals..although i'm probably biased because i enjoy the way some of them taste." He said with a smirk.

"But you've never thought of something peaceful? Or simple?...I don't know, maybe it's just me but i constantly think of just vanishing, seeing th world...and i guess i could but part of me thinks it would be lonely." He said with a shrug.

New question. "If you could pick anywhere on earth to go where would you go?" He asked curiously, Maxwell had seen a little bit of the world, London, New York, L.A., Rome...but there was still so much for him to see..

Nooope. Elliot sure didn't know that one.."Yeah...you'll have to let me listen to it sometime..."

What did he mean? Vanishing? "like...you think running my father's business would be lonely?" His wording confused her. Whatever. "But it would be..if he didn't have henchmen." Which was the PERFECT word for them, too. Because all they did was do whatever her father ordered them to.

That was a goooood one....Elliot didn't know..."I've been to New York...New Orleans...Spain...umm...." she sighed. "Russia." Russia?! She knew why, too. "I like the way they...are. Over there. And my father does a lot of business there...the way he talks about it, he likes it, too. " And...there was all sorts of interesting magic over there...but she wasn't saying aloud..her eyes did have a little glint in them, though, at the prospect of visiting...

Surya went to the gryffindor's house table. Taking a seat there he waited for Am who said she would be there.

"Maybe next time i have a piano i'll have to play it for you.." He said wishing he had one at Hogwarts.

"Well, that does sound fun having henchman.." He said itching the back of his head. "I more meant it would be fun to just run off and get away for a while...but maybe i'm just crazy...but a few adventures could be fun. But like i said a bit boring by myself.."

"Russia? I've never been there...my dad has...He doesn't like to talk about it too much though.." He said wondering what she'd think of his father, she might not care for him. A pureblood man with money who cared nothing for it...what would she think of him?

"Sounds nice...then that probably won;t be for quite awhile..." Since, you know, Hogwarts had NO pianos...hmph.

"Yeah...I want to see the world as well. But I can't just go..to go. I need to be doing something..." Elliot was never one to it around and relax. Maybe that's why she didn't like going to the beach...unless, of course, she and her sisters decided to go off and explore or something. Then it was fun.

hmm. "I wonder why. My father says he'll take me when I'm of age..." which only increased her yearning to go...

And then, having been looking at Maxwell for the past few minutes while talking to him...she had the random urge to kiss him. So she leaned over and gave him a nice little kiss on the cheek...

There. Her bravery of the day!

"Yeah...what kinda castle doesn't have a piano?" He asked as if it were a requirement for all castles..

"Well what about learning different types of magic or seeing different wizarding cultures..or maybe just keeping me company while we see it?" He asked with a smirk. It was a bit of a joke, while he could actually make it happen, he knew she wasn't the type to just run off.

Maxwell blushed a little and smiled instantly as she kissed his cheek. It made him happy, at the risk of overkill he kissed her forehead and left it at that...he hoped it didn't seem weird.

"I know...we have this enormous grand piano at home...and I'm sure you do, too." though a Manor was quite different than a castle. But Elliot loved her home anyways! Hmmm!

hmm.."That sounds interesting interesting, though. We should totally go somewhere together this summer!" If...they were still even friends. THough Elliot hoped they would still be together then. He was just so nice!

Heehee.

That made Elliot wince a bit, but in a good way...

Maxwell nodded. "Yeah i do...dad has one too..but the acoustics were better at the manor...Dad's cottage isn't exactly huge....You said you lived in Scotland, what part do you live in?" He asked curious if they were close.

Maxwell smirked, he liked the idea of traveling with her. "That sounds great, where should we go?" He asked not caring that it wasn't even Christmas yet. He could make this happen, although he knew she'd need her father approval...Merlin, he didn't understand why a girl like this cared for rules?

Am arrived at the pre arranged place where Surya was. "Heeey!" She had brought parchment and a quill for note-taking.

Elliot felt a bit weird...because, well..."I don't...know." She tried not to look TOO shameful..."My father...keeps our exact location hidden...only family friends know..and even then, my father likes to escort people. He likes to keep us hidden," What for, Elliot didn't know. BUt she had a sneaky supsicion it was all for their protection. He didn't think she noticed the dozens of body guards...but..she did. "And we own a good bit of land. But just the Manor is surrounded by a gate..." A huuuuge golden gate. All around the Manor.

"But I think it's safe to say the north, since we're surround by mountains." Yep...mountains. Not that Elliot really ever ventured into them.

hmm..."I don't care, wherever you want to..but it should be somewhere we both haven't been..." She smirked...you know, just to make it more interesting!

Maxwell nodded. "I think i get it.." He said starting to understand what kind of man her father was, he didn't care. It wasn't his business. "Mountains?" He asked. "I live to the north too, between some mountains and the ocean.."

"hmmm, I agree..so where have you been so i know what to count out?" He asked with a smirk as well.

Did he get it, though? Elliot rolled her eyes..."Sad, really, I don't even know exactly where I live." it seemed like Elliot was kept in the dark about a lot of things lately. Well, not lately...her whole life. "Maybe we live near each other...but I think it's safe to say still a good bit apart. At least we live in the same country, though." Yep. Nod. That was good.

...Hmm..Elliot got an evil little grin...'I'm pretty sure I alredy told you...don't you remember?" DID HE?! Probably not. But Elliot was just teasing..."New York, New Orleans, Paris, Spain, and the Bahamas." All of the places where tiher her family owned a villa or manor OR where she had just visited..."Oh, and Egypt." Couldn't for that, now could she?

"That's awful..." He said honestly. "Yeah, at least it's the same country....Though i'm not a big fan of Scotland..there's nothing to do but outdoorsy type stuff..." He said thinking of how he spent the worst summer of his life.

"No, i remembered those i just wasn't sure where else you'd been...maybe Australia? or maybe Japan?" He asked unsure where else to go, maybe she had a few good ideas.

Really? Elliot grinned. "I like it. I like how cold it is in the winter....and how quiet and stuff. I could never live in a bustling city. And so what if it's outdoorsy?" Not that Elliot was, either. But she didn't mind staying inside all the time...

Hmm...Elliot had a glint in her eyes..."I've always wanted to go to Italy." Yes, Italy. Venice...or even Rome. She heard the magic in Rome was..amazing. Plus it was a beautiful city.

"I don't mind the cold...but i mean you can only climb a mountain or camping or try to get better than my sister at archery before it get's old.." He said thinking how he still wasn't better than Taylor, but he was getting there. "I don't know i miss the city somtimes, London is so different and i think i miss New York too..to me there's just something comforting about the city.."

"Well, i've been to Rome...but i really wouldn't mind going back... especially with you.." He said with an honest and sweet smile on his face. "But Venice sounds nice too, we could always see more than one place.." He said smirking.

Hmmm...Elliot just couldn't see herself living in a big city. Like, ever. Don't poor people infiltrate cities a lot? Yeah, no. Elliot didn't deal with that. Noooo. "I like New York, too..we've discussed this...it's just that...I don't know. I like the remoteness. I like being left alone." See? It made sense...

And one of his words caught her ear..."You can do archery? Wow. I would love to see...so cool..." One thing her father COULDN'T do...hmm.

"No Rome then!" she said, mentally crossing it off her list..."Venice is all water, right?" Like you had to travel by boat...hmm.."I don't know...so many places to go and things to see..."

And she didn't miss that smile...in fact, she returned it with a grin.

"I guess that makes sense...Maybe i just need to learn to love the isolation...take a break, maybe calm down a little.." He said thinking maybe she could show him.

"Yeah, I've been taking lessons from my sister for the past year...I'm getting pretty good...I can almost hit my target on horseback."

"Okay, no Rome and yeah most of Venice is underwater so you have to travel by boats..." He thought about asking her if she liked camping but she didn't seem the type to care for sleeping on the floor. But that's what air mattresses are for. "And there's always camping...I've always wanted to explore India a little...Dad says there's all kinds of strange types of Magic out there.." He said with a raised eyebrow, he had a thirst for adventure and wondered if she could keep up with that.
