GRYFFINDOR VS HUFFLEPUFF
It was to a glorious October day that Mr Kitridge walked out with two bags of stones under his arms. The leaves were slowly starting to change colour the weather became as the days went by more unpredictable with showers.
Gobstones was luckily though held in a building so if it started to rain atleast the match wouldn't be affected. Coming into match building Mr Kitridge surveyed the course with a keen eye. It looked to be in prime condition and ready for action he noted with satisfaction.
Dropping the heavy bags of stones one the sideline; one filled with yellow stones and the other filled with red stones as he waited for the two houses. When the two houses were assembled in front of him he adressed them. "I hope you've taken time to read the new rules. Cheating or horesplay won't be tolerated. Good luck!" The teams changed players and now Alyssa and Ariadne manned the stones for the next roll. The two girls rolled away their stones down the court with the red stone leading over the yellow stone but as the red stone started to roll outwards it gave the yellow a clear path towards the Jack in the middle.The point goes to Hufflepuff.
Advisors note: In fairness to both teams we've decided to toss the mugglesport questions because both baseball and softball are correct. The current match standings points are correct since Hufflepuff now won the 6th question.

Ariadne passsed over the stones to Sarah Edwards who eagerly let her red stone roll before Minerva had the chance to even get possession of the yellow stones. When the yellow stoned rolled down the court though it gathered speed and threated the red stone all towards the center but the red stone prevailed. Gryffindor wins the point.

The lions switched in prefect Hollingberry while the badger put their hopes on Edward Messer. They let go off their stones and the game was on. The yellow stone whisked off at the speed of a lightning bullet and rolled way ahead of the red stone initially. In the end though the red stone managed to roll around the yellow stone and stop shoulder to shoulder with the Jack stone in the center. The point goes to Gryffindor.

So far in the match it looked like Hufflepuff were in a comfortable lead but the lions seemed have found their strategy and was slowly gaining points. For the 9th roll Ira Wilson took over the red stones and ambled up to the rolling off point. Now where was the badger player? Mr Kitridge once more eyed the badger group. It looked like someone moved forwards from the midst so he peeled his eyes on the jack instead. The red stone went for the jack in the middle unhindered as the yellow stone rolled off the course and almost hit Mr Kitridge on his right foot. Luckily it stopped before that happened. The point goes to Gryffindor.

For the 11 roll Mr Kitridge made sure that the badger's had a player on the starting line. This time it was Minerva who faced off against Ira. The stones rolled off down the court circling each other before picking up speed with aim for the jack. The red stone proved to be daring as it shoved the yellow stone out of position causing it to roll off the course. The red's bold move cleared the patch towards the Jack. Gryffindor wins the point.
