The house elves are hard at work preparing your next meal but, they're always willing to prepare an after-hours snack to those students who are brave enough to tickle the pear and enter the kitchens.

Since she was coming from the Great Hall, it didn't take long for the Gryffindor to reach the place just outside the kitchens where Tag was already waiting. "You ready to go in?" she asked once she reached him. She didn't really wait for an answer though - surely he was ready if he was already here, yeah? - as she turned, reached up her hand to the pear in the picture, and "tickled" it. She heard a laugh and then suddenly a green door knob appeared.
That was easier than she expected.
She turned the knob and...yep, these were definitely the kitchens.
There she was. Hopefully with an empty stomach, though he found that thought very unlikely. The kitchen was grand, just like any other kitchen though-but it was almost like his second home.
First they'd need some guideline, for this to hopefully go as smoothly as possible. "What would you want to do, mixing all the stuff together and putting the toppings or rolling the dough?" He asked facing his fellow lion. Tag didn't mind whichever job he got he was just ready to make this pizta, as he called it.
He went over to the counter and brought out some bowls and the utensils. ""Do you wanna get the food?" He asked. You can get whatever stuff you want to put on it." Tag told her. Hopefully, it didn't sound he was commanding or demanding things from her.

What did she want to do? Penelope shrugged. "I dunno. I guess I can put the toppings on." That part wouldn't be too hard surely. She wasn't sure about the other stuff though.
She watched as he started getting stuff out and wondered if she should be doing something like that too. But she wasn't sure what she'd get nor where any of it would be in a kitchen this large, so she just stood there...until he mentioned getting food. "Sure, I can do that," she answered before turning and heading in a random direction, looking for some food they could use.

Tag would take most of the work load and she could do the fun stuff even though making a pizza is fun all together. "Yeah you do that." He said casually. And then he saw that she was just standing there and he couldn't help but let out a odd closed smile. She needed help finding the stuff but she just stood there, which wasn't really funny but Tag found it so. So he went over to her side and began to open all the cupboards. They didn't need to start mixing stuff now, they actually needed the toppings."I'll help you look around for the stuff."
He then stopped mid-step remembering what his mother did when she made him pasta. She would get a pot and boil it on the stove, hot water bubbling inside. That was the least he could do, so he found a pot with a handle and poured water inside it,and placed it on the stove, turning the fire on. Soon, he went back to finding the stuff.
"To be honest, " Tag started off shyly, "I've never made an actual pizza.Well, I kind of had-with me mum, but I never baked it myself. But I do know the ingredients-I think." He told Penelope with a wry smile.

Oh, he was going to help too? Well, okay. If both of them looked, they'd probably be able to find even more things to put on their pizza/pasta combo thing. The more, the merrier, after all.
But then he stopped. What was he up to now? Penelope watched, confused, for a few moments, until she remembered a time several months before when she had been in the kitchen with the house elves on a day they were making a pasta dish for them to eat. They'd done the same thing Tag was doing right now.
At least one of them sort of knew what they were doing.
"At least you've had some experience," she replied. "I don't really have any."

You liiiiike?
Evelyn entered the kitchen with Blue, looking forward to some delicious ice-cream. She started to feel a little guilty aout not getting any studying done..like she had promised herself but..heh. Maybe after eating her ice-cream? Yep. Hopefully.
And..she frowned a little when Blue suddenly stopped in her tracks. She started to remove something out of her bag..when she said that she got Eve a Christmas present. A huge smile lit up her face when Blue started to say what she got her. Gosh. "Blue..thank you!" She gave the girl the biggest hug she could manage. "I love everything. I can't wait to open it." Evelyn looked down at the gift in her hands and thought about opening it just then but..no. She'll open it once she was in her dormitory.
Her eyes turned towards her sister again before she bent down and gave the girl another hug. "Love you, Blue. You know, I'm really going to miss you once I leave. I hope you behave yourself and don't get into any trouble." Eve looked the girl in her eyes, waiting for some kind of a confirmation.
The way he smiled just now almost put Kurumi's racing heart at ease, but she was still far too flustered over what had just happened, how she had reacted and why, to be able to fully appreciate the effect his smile had on her. Her heartbeat only increased a bit more when he asked what it was she was apologizing for. He was going to laugh...she was sure of it. "It's...um..." she whispered back, chewing on her lip shyly but not averting her gaze from his at all. "For...for....for the moans..." The orangish color only intensified at these words as the feeling of embarrassment continued to wash over her and she nearly looked away when his fingers were tracing her lower lip, causing her gaze to move from his eyes to his lips again.
Kurumi was about to lean back in again when she felt a gentle tug on her hair. Her eyes widened slightly at his question as her violet gaze moved to the lock of hair he was now playing with between his fingers and the color rose even more in her cheeks. "It...it does that when I feel embarrassed," she explained, a soft giggle escaping her lips as her fingers traced his jawline and stopped on his chin. It was usually an indication that cat ears were not too far behind, but Kurumi usually needed some sort of real big shock to make that happen. Like what had happened a few terms back in the Three Broomsticks with Selina mentioning...well, something that was all in the past now.
His smile drew her in a bit, tracing over it lightly with her fingers before she reluctantly turned away and removed the cookies from the over.
Again...stupid timer.
The sound of the oven door opening somewhat muffled the sound of his exhale, but she felt his hand squeezing hers and she returned it promptly, simply enjoying the way her hand felt in his. She realized that their hands had actually been in each other's most of the time they had been in the kitchen - if not the entire time - and it made the color rise in her cheeks even more. In a way, it was almost symbolic of them, their relationship. Of the way that neither of them seemed to be able to stand to be without the other. Was that crazy? To think and feel that way? Was it because they were still new, the official them? The pit of Kurumi's stomach tied in knots as she looked at the cookies now, hoping that the feeling would never fade.
This time Kurumi was able to take in the full effect of his smile, her own lips curling up at the corners. This, right now, this was the real reason why Kurumi baked. She wasn't a huge fan of sweets like many people assumed she was. Sure, she did enjoy them, but she didn't gobble them up like Selina did. No, she baked to see how they made others happy and right now the look on Lewis' face and the words he said made her smile wide. Perhaps one of the widest smiles she had done in a long while. "I'm glad," she replied, her eyes crossing for a moment when he offered the cookie back for her to try.
Shyly, Kurumi reached out with her hand, but didn't take the cookie like Lewis probably thought she would. Instead, it closed around his, holding it in place while she leaned in and took a small bite. To her it just seemed silly to be constantly passing one cookie back and forth between the two of them. That was his cookie and he was just offering to share it with her, so he should keep it. "They are good," she blushed. She never really liked complimenting her own baking, but then again these were not just her creations, they were theirs.
Licking her lips for a moment, Kurumi returned her gaze to his and pulled herself a little closer to him. "So, what do you want to do now?" she asked shyly. "We can eat more of the cookies in here....or go outside and do that...or...." Kurumi paused as her cheeks flushed again. It was his birthday, he should be the one to decide what they did now.
Lewis was still only half-paying attention to what she was saying, being too engrossed by the feeling of her lips under his fingers. Not that it was the first time he'd done this or anything but it was still equally incredible every time. It was almost as incredible as feeling them under his own lips. Almost. If he were supposed to choose however he'd always choose lips, though of course. Always. Still, he just hoped he would never have to choose between those two options. He really didn't want to stop doing either. So hopefully he would never have to.
Her final answer did get his attention, though, making him look back up to meet her gaze, his mouth opening just a little. THAT was what she'd been apologizing for? "T-that's okay. No...need to apologize." Somehow that whole talk was making him both blush and smile, clearly amused by what she'd just said. He himself was quite...annoyed by the timer going off so there was really no need for her to apologize for moaning in frustration. He understood how she was feeling. Even though it was making him blush some more to realize that she was obviously feeling the same way. Because of him. Because she enjoyed kissing him. And her glance towards his lips had not gone unnoticed.
Before he could lean in again as well, however, her hair distracted him, the color being one he'd never seen on her before. It was starting to look more and more orange by the second. "Embarrassed...?" Lewis glanced back and forth between her eyes and the lock of her hair between his fingers a couple of times, a look of surprise plastered across his face. Wasn't embarrassed cat ears? Huh. She never failed to surprise him - even though this time it was her abilities really. "I prefer pink..." He trailed off with a small - slightly sheepish - smile when she reached out to trace across his jawline and over his chin and corners of his lips.
What would happen if they just ignored the cookies in the oven?
They would never know the answer to that, however - or actually they DID already know it anyway. His smile grew even wider when Kurumi's did as well when he complimented her cookies...their cookies. He almost dropped the cookie in his hands twice in the next few seconds, making him blush slightly, hoping that Kurumi wouldn't notice. First time was when Kurumi DIDN'T take the cookie he was offering to her but instead reached for his hand instead. Second time was right after that when she got closer to nibble on the cookie while he was still holding it. That was just...he didn't even know how to explain it but it made his smile even broader until it had turned into a happy grin.
"They're amazing." Lewis corrected her with a small smile as his eyes dropped to her lips when she licked them. He moved a little closer as well when she did, thinking about her words and trying to come up with a good answer. What did he want to do? With her being this close and with his gaze on her lips, what they'd been doing before the timer had gone off came to mind again. "We could..." Only then the movement of a house elf shuffling past them caught his attention and made him stop before he could finish his sentence. Right. Here wasn't exactly the best place to be doing that. Plus, he wasn't sure if he'd actually been able to suggest that out loud. The thought of saying it alone made him blush.
Finally, after glancing around the kitchen for a moment, his eyes landed back on Kurumi's. "I say we take the cookies outside and...well, we'll see what we want to do then." Which wasn't exactly a very precise answer but it at least got them out of the kitchen. The house elves had already seen way too much of them anyway. They'd seen them do way too much.

He gestured for her to look around some more, because she stopped also. Maybe she was having a leg spasm or something? But her legs were moving in a jerking and flailing manner-hmm,maybe she got tired easily? Whatever it was Tag continued searching. Soon enough he found the refrigerator and fished through it. "Here we go. Cheese-important ingredient." he liked melted cheese on his pasta. "Red sauce, peporroni.I found some other stuff-like vegetables and things like that-you can see what other stuff you want too." Tag told Penelope, leaving the door opened and placing all the food he grabbed onto a counter top.
Now,to find the pasta.Wait-if there's wasn't any pasta,he guessed that'd be alright-but he remembered flour and salt for the pizza when he helped his mother. "Can you look around for some flour and salt?" After a few minutes of opening several cupboards and drawers he found a whisk-he believed it was,and some bowls. "Ahh man-mixing the dough will be hard by hand.." No electrical mixer.

"Your welcome." Blue shrugged, already bored with the whole scene. SHE WANTED ICE-CREEEEAM. She beamed at a little house elf person and beckoned it over. "I'd live a vanilla ice-cweam with chocolate sprinkleeees." She looked at her bootiful sister. "Whatchoo want, Eve?" The house elf person was waiting.
Blue hugged her sister back. "I love you too, Eve." Blue said witha tiny sniffle. She was gonna get all emotional nooow. "I'mma miss you too. Blue stayed silent and rubbed her two feet together, not meeting Eve's gaze. She didn't wanna lie. She'd try to stay good but.... "I promise I'll try, Eve." Twas so tragic.
Evelyn watched as Blue requested the house-elf to get her vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sprinkles...hey, wait. She stared at the house-elf. Yep. She was petty sure this was the elf Eddy had insulted earlier..poor thing. "Um. Do you remember the ice-cream sandwich you'd made for me and my friend earlier? I'd like that please." Yep. Evelyn had loved it.
Aw. Evelyn smiled as Blue hugged her back. Blue was another reason why she wanted to stay back in London..she could stay back but only if she gave up magic and that definitely wasn't going to happen. Her smile widened when Blue said she'd visit her over summer and Christmas. "You know, that would be lovely. Or..I could visit during summer and you could visit during Christmas.." She was sure they could work something out.
OH. Evelyn raised an eyebrow at Blue's hesitation. "No trying, Blue..I really don't want you to get into any trouble." She bit her lip and hugged the girl again. Blue had no idea how much Evelyn was going to miss her. "We'll stay in touch, Blue. I'll send you an owl every week." She felt a small tear roll down in her cheek..but she quickly wiped it away before Blue could see it. "I love you too, kiddo."
Tahnee walked into the kitchen, glancing around at the hustling bustling activity. Settling down in a small chair propped by the door, she politely asked a passing house-elf for a glass of pumpkin juice, if you please. The house elf looked happy to help and scampered away, and Tahnee smiled to herself at how lucky she was to be in as great a place as Hogwarts.

Nigel came down to the kitchens for some food. He was a little hungry after all. He was in the mood for some ice cream but did not know what kind to get at the moment. He looks around for a house elf and spots a girl just sitting on a small chair. Nigel was a friendly person. So he walked over to her, waves, and introduced himself.

Just then, the house-elf returned with her pumpkin juice and she took it with a warm thank you. Taking a sip, she felt a bit awkward sitting down while Nigel stood. "Why don't you pull up a chair?" she said invitingly.

Blue shuddered at the 'ice-cream sandwich' ... it just reminded her of Lilly eating snow sandwiches which was disgusting. The house elf returned a couple of seconds? minutes? Meh. Blue wasn't really paying attention. She was looking up at her sister, eyes wide, studying her so she would never forget what she looked like. "Thanks choo," She told the elf in an empty voice, taking the ice-cream from him but not licking it. She didn't really feel like sugar any more, believe it or not. A line of white ran dom her cone and onto her hand but she didn't care...She blinked a couple of times very fast and looked away, her chin wobbling dangerously.
Blue smiled at her sister waterily. "Point is, Evelyn, we-we're going to visit eachother." Blink. Blink. She looked away again. "Eve...I just wanted you to know," wibble. "That you're one of three people who know my real name and that I'm adopted. I would tell you anything." Tears filled her eyes now and she made no effort to hide them. Right now, all she wanted was to cry in her dorm with her face buried in her pillow or cry on Kat's shoulder or forget her troubles by scoffing down sugar and sweets and a slab of honeydukes chocolate. WIBBLE.
She swallowed. "I'm really lucky to have you as my sister Eve. I-I dunno how'd've survived this school wifout chooo." She dumped her ice-cream on a table and flung her arms around Eve again.
Blue's thoughts went to the swamp and she told herself that she wouldn't say anything to Eve. "I promise I won't, Eve." And she really meant it. For Eve and Ravenclaw and all her friends. But especially Eve. If she had a wish right now, she would wish that Eve could stay with her forever. Blue looked up at her sister. "Every other day, Eve." She buried her face again, tears streaming down her face and soaking Eve's shirt. "I'm not a kiddo, sisterrr." She said with a wibbling smile.
"Don't give up on muffins, Gwen,'' Jory said grinning. "There's loads more stuff to make. You've still got to try doing frying and so on.'' That shouldn't be too hard to do. But he had realised long ago that cooking wasn't easy for everyone. Like Arithmancy was hard for him. And it sometimes made him go crazy so he suspected Gwen may be feeling the same.
"Because I'm a boy,'' The Puff responded. Yes, Jory knew that most boys his age preferred to be doing...anything except having some knowledge in the kitchen. But he wanted to learn a bit of everything and surprisingly, he enjoyed cooking very much and would sometimes even experiment his own recipes.
"Great!'' Jory said. He hadn't baked or cooked in a while. "Wanna use your recipe? Or should we try a different one?'' Really, he didn't mind which.
Don’t give up on muffins?, the fourth year repeated Jory’s remark in her head. Pshhh. Huh? But what was he saying? ‘That sounds…’Pause. ‘complicated’, she finally added. Couldn’t she just use some spells and have it done? Gwen would probably end up burning down the kitchen if she had to try frying. Pffft. Hopefully that wouldn't happen.
Conclusion: Cooking is JUST too complicated.
‘Umm… I don’t know’ Was there something even easier than this? Because in that case, Gwen would definitely pick the easier recipe! ‘I think we could stick to this one. But if you have any idea…’ After all, it didn’t take her a long time to choose a recipe. She just picked whichever was shortest and the one that seemed to be easiest. ‘By the way…thanks for helping’ The fourth year was not able to bake the muffins on her own.

Taking another sip of her ice cold pumpkin juice, she gestured at one of the many passing house-elves. "You just ask one of them!" she said, giggling because this was the first time she had known something about Hogwarts that someone else hadn't!
"So are you a first year? What house are you in? I haven't really seen you around!" she asked, genuinely interested. Then again, she hadn't really seen many people around simply because she had been so bogged down with studying... and trying to do homework... and more studying... ewewewew. She hated schoolwork.

"Oh, that is way easier than I thought" Nigel said sounding surprised it was that easy to get some food here. He quickly turned to an house elf and asked for a chocolate sundae. Yes that would perfect right now. How could he not have chocolate right now.
He turned back to Tahnee to answer her question. Nigel said. "Yeah I'm a first year in Ravenclaw. And yeah most of the time I'm usually at class, doing homework or outside doing stuff."
All of a sudden an house elf went up to Nigel and handed him his chocolate sundae. This was awesome Nigel thought as he took a bite out of his sundae. That also reminded him for some reason, that he should probably finish some homework once he got to his common room.

Ella hurried down to the kitchen, Harvey following closely behind her. She was probably moving faster than normal but only because the thought of eating ice cream sundaes had her feeling quite excited! She LOVED ice cream sundaes!
After tickling the pear and entering, Ella headed towards the nearest house elf, not knowing if Harvey was still behind her or not. The second year was on a mission so she was pretty focused on that and that alone. After promising not to make a mess and inquiring about cookies and such, the blonde was ready to start grabbing the things they would need to create their master sundaes.
"Harvey, I'm gonna grab the ice cream and the toppings! You're in charge of bowls and spoons...Not exactly sure where they are but I'm sure you can manage." And the sooner they had everything the sooner they could eat!

Harvey followed her very close behind, cause 1) He was getting some ice cream and 2) it was with close friend of his.. and this was going to be fun.. so no way was he going to get left behind on this one. He watched as she tickled the pear and rushed into the kitchen conversing with the elves before giving him his instructions. Right! bowls and spoons.. they cant be too hard to find right? right.. he started searching through the many cupboards in this kitchen to find the bowls and spoons that were needed as Ella took control of the ice-cream and toppings.. with her around he knew for some reason that these sundaes were going to be the absolute best!
He continued searching until he found the bowls and took out two.. cause no-one else was going to have these sundaes except them and there were only two of them. Then he attacked the drawers and started looking for those elusive spoons.. you could say he was almost as eager as Ella to get stuck into those ice-cream sundaes. After checking most of the drawers he caught an elf looking.. no staring at him and as if able to read his mind pointed to a drawer not far from him.. upon opening it he found the spoons. He silently thanked the elf before heading over to Ella "Spoons and bowls at your service Miss Bishop" he chuckled as he used her name like that for the first time.. maybe it was the prospect of ice cream that had him all excited and fun like a little boy in an ice-cream shop

Ella would have commented on how impressed she was that Harvey set off right away to find spoons and bowls but she was too busy using her ice cream radar. Yup. And the radar was going off BIG TIME. The second year had already placed an armload of toppings on the nearest counter including whipped cream, hot fudge, cherries, crushed oreos, and sprinkles! NOM. Now for the ice cream.
So maybe Ella wasn't the strongest person at Hogwarts...probably not even the 100th strongest person, but she could be strong for the sake of ice cream! Not knowing what flavor Harvey would want, the second year lugged tubs of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry over to the counter where the rest of the sundae making NOMs were. Once the containers were out of her hands, she turned and leaned her back against the counter, tired but ready to make THE BEST ICE CREAM SUNDAES EVERRRR.
The second year was a bit startled when Harvey came over with bowls and spoons. She had been so into finding all the ingredients for them that she had almost forgotten he was there too. "Why thank you very much, Mr. Watson!" She said cheerfully before giggling. This was fun! "I didn't know what you liked so I-well I got everything." And she motioned her head towards the long line of toppings lining the counter. "These sundaes will be epic."

Harvey's eyes were wide as saucers as he saw the amount of ingredients she had gathered in the time it took him to get the spoons and bowls, he made a note not to chuckle when she was startled by his mere presence cause that was not a funny thing. He was speechless.. she had actually rendered him speechless not knowing what to say.. but soon he found his voice "No worries... well the thing with ice-cream sundaes is you dont need to know what someone likes cause all sundaes will be liked.. but its good that you went to all this trouble to make sure it would be something I liked" he smiled as he looked at her "Yeah I agree they will be with the long line of toppings and the different flavoured ice-creams" he chuckled looking up and down the counter at everything that was there for their sundaes.. no wait epic sundaes. Was it just him or was his mouth watering with the anticipation of the epic sundaes they were about to make and gobble down.

What a spectacular point, Mr. Watson! Ice cream sundaes utilized pretty much everything, including all ice cream flavors, so it really didn't matter which Harvey preferred the best. And PSH! She hadn't gone to any trouble! This was standard sundae making protocol, dude. "It wasn't any trouble at all." She said returning the smile and shrugging a bit. And now they could start, right?! RIGHT.
WAIT! O___O Ella had forgotten a scooper. EPIC FAIL.
The second year started opening and shutting cabinets and drawers in search for the ice cream scoops, trying to make quick work of it since she was starving. On about the fourth drawer, she scored. "GOTCHA!" She said triumphantly as she raised the scoop into the air and returned to their set up. "Now we can officially begin."
Picking up the two bowls, Ella walked over to the tubs of ice cream and scooped a LOT of each flavor into both of them. "I assume you wanted a bit of everything." She said, glancing over her shoulder at her friend. And when she had finished scooping, she handed him his bowl. Now for the most exciting part. TOPPINGS! "Well go on, this is the most important step. Choosing the toppings."

Wait a minute!! Hauling all of this out wasn't any trouble? "Oh! well it does look like you went to a bit of trouble gathering this whole line of ingredients, looking at it all, it doesn't look like it was an easy job to do. " he smiled as he looked up and down the line again. He then watched as she suddenly started rushing all over the place looking for something, he was about to ask her what she was looking for when she called out triumphantly. He looked to see what was in her hand, well of course that's what she was looking for or how else would they scoop out all that delicious ice-cream.
He smiled as she said that they could now begin, he watched as she scooped in a good amount of all the flavours into each bowl.. he nodded as she spoke to him "Yup! just looking at it all it seems a shame to miss out a single flavour" he chuckled as he took the bowl from her and wondered why she had given it to him. That was answered the next moment, choose the toppings?!! he had to choose the toppings? he looked at them all... there was no way he could choose. "I think I am going to put in a bit of everything, you have laid out such good toppings that it is proving to hard too choose." he smiled as he started at the first topping and worked his way along the line topping his ice-cream as he went along.
