Mika looked over to Theodore and felt she was on the verge of hysterics or more so hystarical laughter. She thought she heard squeaking.

Was that the flossing causing the teeth to sound squeaky clean? Or the boy being nuttymcnutterpants. She couldn't tell.

Pulling out her floss yet again she moved onto the lower set of teeth.

SQUEAK - Flunk - TWANG.

Ah the sounds of clean teeth...well flossing - the twanging of the floss as it was pulled from the mouth. She was proud of her work.

"Professor thank you for the enlightening class" she smiled over to Professor Bentley. "Can I have a go at another plant if we have time?" She asked as she walked over to Professor Bentley. The girl was standing there twisting and twirling on her feet - she looked like a five year old who was either way too excited or really needed to pee.

.......Hutchinson....

Why did that name sound so fami-- oooh boy...

Daichi's cheeks flushed red as he finally realised why the name Hutchinson was so familiar to him. "Are..are you family from Indy?" the snake asked as he looked at the gloved hand before taking it. If he was done Daichi hoped he could concentrate. Because no matter what lesson, the Slytherin's mind went to Indy and it made him feel all giggly inside. So if he WAS related he would keep thinking about their last name and and and... O____o

"I'm Daichi Katharos" he quickly spoke for he was afraid he would start smiling like a lunatic. It was really weird and the snake kept wondering why he had those weird feelings when Indy came in mind.

He eyed the plant with a half terrified half fascinating look before shaking his head no. "I think ducks are the cutest things in the world". And that was a fact! Ducks were the most awesomest coolest cutest fantastics! "Y-you can go first...i- i don't really like..you know..sharpy teeth and all..."

Minerva continued to brush the geraniums teeth. She was on the other side now scrubbing away. This wasn't as hard as she thought, until she looked closer at the teeth. It didn't even look like she did anything. Minerva sighed and put her hands on her hips "What am I doing wrong. I'm scrubbing with the brush and they still look dirty." see this is why they needed tooth paste. She began again scrubbing harder. She didn't want to hurt the poor thing, but she wanted it's teeth clean.

She scrubbed the front, back, and sides over again. This time they started looking cleaner. "Well I can't see my reflection, but at least they are better." she was hoping she was doing a good job at least for Professor Bentley.

So um, They were going to be brushing these, these geraniums? And what was so special about these plants? Was it just the teeth that made them magical. Pulling the borrowed gloves onto his hands, he flexed them making sure they fit well. Perfect. Heading over to the plants, he inhaled slightly as he picked up his toothy friend and went to his work station. Setting him down, Kaiden examined the supplies he had to work with. grabbing the toothbursh, he rubbed his thumb across the bristles, thing about the best way to tackle this task. reaching his hand out the the plant, it snapped at him. "HEy watch it," he told the plant.

While Alyssa continued flossing the Piranha plant's teeth, she turned to whisper to Oakey, "As you can see, I have all the time right now. Are you really feeling okay. You don't look so good."she asked him.

Nodding, he hadn't even looked at the workstation yet, his eyes were still watching those fangs that the piranha plant had. Ok teeth, but seriously what was the difference, all he knew was that they could bite and it would hurt! "I'm Isaac." he said offering a smile at the last word. He didn't hear that word often but recognized it all the same. Well she took the toothbrush...so maybe he should do the floss, or split it up? "Mebbe we take turns." He could handle the bottom right? Not like the plant would snap closed the second he touched it with the floss.

He hoped not anyway! "How about we start with...the flossing mebbe, then we can brush away any of the bits that come out from between the teeth." EWW, bits of flesh and stuff it's eaten! Ok, this wasn't just scary it was nasty as well! Picking up the floss, he pulled some out to get started, "Jus' watch the plant and make sure it stays open and I'll start working on the bottom."

Ella brought the toothbrush she was holding up to the fanged geranium's teeth and began to gently brush. She frowned, noting that some of the teeth had yellow stains which would surely be tough to get out. She looked from the toothbrush to those teeth, and turned her attention to removing those stains as best she could. This geranium would have the cleanest teeth in class if Ella Bishop had anything to do with it.

After a few minutes of focusing just on the yellowish teeth, Ella did notice that they were visibly whiter. "Wicked!" She said, satisfied with her work. The second year continued to work with the toothbrush, moving along from the left to right and giving each tooth individual attention. If this geranium ever decided to bite someone, they would be A-Okay thanks to Ella and that made her feel good. She kept this in mind as she continued to work, especially when her arm started to hurt. Her teeth didn't take anywhere near as long to brush!

Hannah looked at the fanged geranuim and looked at her supplies. The plant's mouth was a hot mess and she knew that it was sedated, but would it stay sedated for as long as it would take her to get the job done?


She wasn't going to wait and find out. She decided to give the teeth a good floss. She grabbed the minty stuff and took just enough to wrap around her fingers a couple of times. She scrunched up her nose and opened up the plant's mouth once more.


Once she managed to get the floss between two teeth she started moving the floss up and down...left and right. She was honestly having a hard time. She looked around the room to see if anybody else was having a hard time getting the floss in all the right areas. Hannah wasn't really a physically strong girl, but she did think she would be strong enough to manage some flossing.


She got the floss out between the first two teeth and moved to the next set. This time she was going to get it with no problem she assured herself. She stuck the floss inbetween the teeth and repeated the motions. This time seemed to be working out better for her. She felt like she was finally getting the hang of it.

Angelina was going to make this geraniums plant's teeth shine! ...Okay probably not, but she couldn't go without having them super clean. She couldn't spend a lot of time on these teeth with the brushing and than the floss. But it doesn't matter, she could work at a fast pass and do very good.

Brushing the geraniums teeth scared Angelina, but she knew all well that they aren't going to hurt her at all. Once she was done with the first set, Angelina was very happy. That was all until she realized there was more to do. Forgetting and letting go of her unhappiness, of having to do more, Angelina continued to brush the teeth of the geraniums.

The Ravenclaw raised that large toothbrush and started scrubbing it against those dagger like teeth, clenching his jaw as he pushed that toothbrush up and down, forwards then backwards. Oh wait there was a question "I'm... from..... New York." he replied slowly, still wincing at the plant and trying to keep that grossness from getting to him "What about you?.... Where'd you hail from?"

There must've been something about the way he was brushing those teeth because the next thing he knew those drooly lips clamped down onto that large toothbrush. His head spun back towards the plant and tried pryyying that toothbrush out "Hey let go." he grumbled.

Ella was on the last tooth and was quite excited as the geranium's teeth were looking white and shiny! She smiled as she finished, placing the toothbrush down on the table and taking in all of her hard work. Yup, she had done a pretty good job. "Not bad, Geranium. Not bad at all. I think the other plants will need some sunglasses cause your teeth are bright." HEH. And the plant's mouth didn't smell nearly as bad anymore. Nope, it was minty fresh! "Thanks for not waking up and attacking me." She added quietly. "I think that might have made cleaning your teeth a little more difficult." Just a little...

Now that the second year had finished flossing and brushing the plant's teeth, it was time to clean up her work space. First, Ella picked up the fanged geranium and returned it to the spot where all the other minty fresh fanged geraniums were. She smiled at the plant and waved with her gloved hand. "So long, little guy. Enjoy your cleanliness." Turning back to her work space, Ella removed her gloves and placed them in her robes pocket. Then the second year picked up her wand and pointed it at the toothbrush and floss. "Scourgify!" Next she placed her wand in her other pocket and picked up the toothbrush and floss, carrying them over to the cupboard. Now she was all set to go. On her way out of the classroom she gave Professor Bentley a smile. "Thanks for a great lesson, Professor. I have a whole new appreciation for my dentist." True story. Maybe she would even send him a card or something...With that thought in mind, she headed out of the greenhouse towards the castle.

This seemed like it was going to be an extremely long process and she was starting to wonder if she was going to have enough time to complete the task. Although she was having a much better time with the floss now. She had already completed flossing the entire top row of teeth. They looked better, but they still looked pretty gross to her.


Now for the bottow row of teeth. She stretched her arms and hands becasue veleive it or not she seemed to be getting a cramp. She eyed the plant forst to make sure that it didn't look like it was going to wake up any time soon. When she felt confident the plant was still out she got right back to flossing. Up and down, then left and right. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat...until her arms felt like falling off!

The flossing was probably the worst part ever. It seemed like hours had passed when it had been only minutes. He wiped his sweaty brow on the sleeve of his robe then inspected his work area. The table was littered with used floss. He had to keep getting new pieces due to the grime and insects stuck in the fangs, and occasionally one fang had ripped the floss in two. Adarian smiled as he grabbed for the toothbrush again, he was going to give those fangs another once over with the tool before calling the job done.

Finally Violet was done brushing her plant's teeth. Now time for the flossing part of it. She grabbed the roll of thick bright green minty floss from the table and cut a foot long of floss with her teeth. Some of the flavour went into her mouth and the relaxing minty cooled her mouth. It was a sensation she would never forget. The floss couldn't be poisonous to her could it?

Whew! Hannah had finally managed to floss all of the million teeth...ok maybe not a million, but it sure felt like it. She wanted to admire her work, but truth be told the plants teeth still did not look very good. They were better, but not good by any means. Maybe brushing would make a huge difference?


Brushing would be easier right? She sure hoped so. She felt like she was getting a work out. She pulled out the toothbrush and got straight to work. She started with the top teeth towards the back. She brushed forwards and back and then made circular motions. Just as she was feeling that she was getting the hang of it something came off the brush and smacked her in the face.


"ACK!"she yelled before she even realized what she was doing. She wiped the foul piece of whatever it was off her face. She kept telling herself that it was NOT flesh. It was anything but flesh. She pulled herself together and got back to brushing the foul little plants mouth.

Nerida continued brushing Mr/Mrs Plant, she said to him/her You have very dirty teeth! Your lucky that Im brushing your teeth or they could fall off from being too dirty and gross! She continued brushing the teeth until she got to the last tooth on the top row she told the plant Yay! We are finished with the top, ready to go to the bottom, of course you are!! She began to brush the bottom row of teeth, the teeth of the top row were no longer yellow or green but white. She smiled at it and said Im actualy enjoying brushing your tooth...

Introductions were at least a good distraction from the giant plant and its teeth. Stella was a bit curious about the smile that had appeared on Isaac's face at what she'd said, though. "It's nice to meet you, Isaac," she said instead. Asking about what had amused him could happen later. When they weren't getting ready to face the still twitching piranha plant. She still couldn't see why Professor Bentley seemed so fond of them. It looked nothing like the professor's little puppy, which she remembered from last term. It appeared Isaac was still talking, however, so she tore her attention from the plant again and nodded at the suggestion. At least taking turns, they had one person to make sure the other didn't lose any body parts.

"Doesn't one usually brush before they floss?," she asked, curious once again. "I mean, I understand why doing the opposite might make more sense," especially when they were dealing with the likes of this plant, "but isn't flossing usually done to catch anything the toothbrush misses?" He seemed ready to attack the teeth with the floss, in any case, so she didn't continue her argument. At least he wasn't suggesting she go first. "Of course," she replied softly. "How would I make sure it keeps its mouth open?"

Sophie just couldn't get used to this brushing the plants' teeth thing. How weird was that??? Really weird.

Focusing on the task, Sophie started to notice that the teeth were finally getting clean. She was doing it right after all. Good!

Brush. Brush. Brush.

That was tiring. Sophie wasn't sure if she enjoyed it... it was even getting a bit boring now. Brush. Brush. Brush. At least the teeth were indeed getting clean! That was cool.

She brushed them a bit more until she thought she was done. She stared at the plant for a while and decided to brush them all once again real quick, just to make sure that they were sparkling clean!

Harvey smiled as Minnie giggled at his comment "He is? thats good.. you hear that? you are more than welcome" he smiled as he got back to his geranium after hers had gone back to sleep.. poor geranium never really got to properly thank Minnie for looking after his teeth so well.. oh wells she can always visit the little plant.. right?.. I am sure Professor Bentley wouldnt mind having Minnie get thanked by the plant.. thats if it could speak to humans in non-plant language

Anyways back to brushing the teeth.. ok bottom seemed to be done.. he had done as well as he could considering he didnt want to hurt the little plant.. so it was all good.. now for the top.. he held the top half of the plant steady as he did the same at the top.. sometimes forceful sometimes not.. depending on how dirty each fang was.. though these ones did seem a little dirtier than the bottom but he hoped he had a system going now that it wouldnt take him as long to clean these teeth.

"Ye te." he replied as he turned back to the plant at hand. Nodding he could understand about the flossing and brushing being backwards. "I'd say do before and after but...how long will it stay so relaxed and quiet. Te make sure we don' miss anything." Nibbling his lip, as she asked how to keep the mouth open "Yer wand." he whispered with laughter in his voice. Prop open the mouth with the wand? Somehow he really didn't think professor Bentley would like that at all! Maybe they should do the brushing first. But he didn't want her to end up having her hands tucked in side on the bottom if it closed the mouth!

"Mebbe keep stroking it, it might keep it quiet." he replied shrugging, offering another idea. Well at least if that didn't work they knew they'd need to wrap up the finger that got nabbed come up with another idea. "Haf any other ideas?" Anything but the wand idea, the wand might actually work the best, or a stick or something to keep it open til they were done. But then...was it strong enough to snap a wand or stick???

Nerida said Okay I am done brushing your teeth, it is now time for the flossing, Im sorry if I hurt you, I dont think I am very good at flossing, but I will try my best! She picked up the flossing twine and began to floss the plants teeth, first tooth and second tooth done and then second tooth and third tooth finished. She started to hum to herself as she flossed between each tooth. It was a pretty tune and it looked like the plant liked the tune, she didnt really know how she knew that it did, but she just got the feeling that it liked the song...

Zhenya had finished flossing Sid and decided she should probably start with the brushing before his sedation wore off and he woke up by... chenching his jaw on her! No thanks, Zhenya did NOT need that.

She put the twine next to her and picked up Sid's toothbrush and put it in his mouth. She brushed it back and forth, up and down, side to side, top and bottom, back and front, and made sure they looked nice and clean. It took her a while because she wanted to have his teeth look nice and polished, so she did it another two times. By the end of her brushing, she looked at his teeth and was nice and pleased with the results.

Thinking to herself, she wondered what he would think then he woke up? His teeth freshly brushed and flossed?

Once Angelina was finished with the brushing she decided to move on to the flossing. Maybe she wanted to go back over the teeth brushing one more time after the flossing... Taking the floss she began to floss the teeth. This wasn't as easy as the brushing. Having your hands even close into the geraniums mouth worried her even more. Being brave she ignored it.

After being down with the top teeth, Angelina sighed and started on the bottom. This was a lot of work, but she doesn't do all the flossing everyday. If she said that so someone it might sound gross. Making her sound like she doesn't take care of her teether. She did really, she just didn't floss everyday.

More brushing. Up and down, side to side.

And yeaaaaah. Soon enough, she was done! No..not really done. But at least, had finished brushing the Geranium's teeth. Beezus then placed the toothbrush at the table and this time grabbed the floss.

YAYYY! Time for flossing. "Yeap, yeap. So come here my little Geranium, and let's floss out those dirty little things from the spaces between your fangs." OHGODRIC! She just realized it, the Geraniums didn't have teeth, but fangs! FANGS! Oh well..her plant was good to her and she wasn't scared to get bitten by it anymore. "Right baby?" She giggled at what she was doing. She must be going insane. Or just influenced too much by Indy's giggling.

Granted, they were always together so it wasn't really a wonder.

Oho.

But now..back to work.. Floss. Floss. Floss.. Up and down, pull, pull, pull.

Floss. Floss. Floss. "Wider baby.." because its mouth was attempting to close.

Several minutes passed and she was already wiping sweat from her forehead. "Phweeew! That was tiring." It was. But exciting too! "You were so good baby.." She told the plant, and as if in reply it opened up its mouth to show its super clean pearly white fangs teeth.

Stella had to concentrate a little to understand Isaac's brogue as he'd replied to her pleasantries, but it wasn't as hard as it could have been. It wasn't much different from the people back home with the strong French accents, after all, just different. "We can always ask Professor bentley how she sedated it, if it really seems like it wants to wake up," she replied, as he'd gone on to talk about her questioning the order of things, and then she smiled as he'd suggested using her wand to keep the plant's mouth open. "I doubt the professor would appreciate us using magic against her plants, and I'm not risking it breaking my wand either," she continued, laughing slightly. At least they could distract themselves from fear with jokes.

"At least the brush has a handle. We should be able to keep clear of the teeth easier with that than the floss," she said. Anything to keep from betting a finger or two bitten off. Something told her they wouldn't be seeing it again if that happened, so she would much rather not risk it. They were still going to have to floss, though, and if he'd rather get that over with first, she wasn't going to argue. She even stepped a bit closer to the plant as he'd suggested petting it. "I guess I can do that. It seemed to like when the professor stroked it. Maybe it'll like getting its teeth cleaned, as well." At least she could hope that would happen.
