Lily started getting antsy? as the time for practice grew closer and closer. But she knew it would be rude to rush off while the girl was still talking so she stayed put. "Oh... Thanks." She replied quietly, thinking about the match and how she hadn't played to her full potential. She had really wanted to score... like really badly, but it hadn't happened. Maybe in the next match she would be able to score...

The second year studied the older Ravenclaw's face breifly as she noticed a smirk. But almost as soon as the other girl had smirked she was looking away again, so Lily drew her gaze from the girl back to the poster that was hanging there. "I just hope everything goes back to normal soon.... I want our head of house back." The redhead commented before shaking her head no to the jellybeans. Not always the best idea to go eating right before quidditch practice.

"You must have aimed that bludger RIGHT at me. I expected it from that Oakey puff, but... but... but..." He stopped before he bubbled over with Slytherin wrath. Honestly, Ella did look quite upset about the whole thing, but Theo just needed to get his rage out of the way and MAYBE an apology. Cos was that SO much to ask?

"Well..." He thought about what he was about say very carefully. "I don't wanna be friends with evil-bludger-throwing-psycho Hufflepuffs." He added a huff on the end, but didn't look at her.

Was he being dramatic?

Really? ...Like REALLY?!

Ella just kind of stood there, mouth hanging open in surprise as the first year accused her of injuring him on purpose. PSH! This was just down right ridiculous and if he didn't look so very angry, Ella might have thought he was joking with her. Didn't he realize she would NEVER do anything like that? Apparently not. "Theodore that is CRAZY! WHY would I want to hurt you?" What could the second year possibly have gained from doing such a thing?...Well besides maybe a free ticket to the Slytherin Wrath Show hosted by Theodorable. Ugh. "I'm sorry, okay? I'm just...really sorry." And she stomped her foot in frustration, knowing that he wasn't listening to a word she said right now. She said it more quietly though, as she realized she been raising her voice at him before and it made her feel quite bad. Even worse than she already did.

Oh.No.He.Didn't.

The frown was immediate, followed by watery eyes, and then an overwhelming feeling of anger. She crossed her arms and looked at him seriously, shaking her head. "Fine then. Well I..." Oh no. She was going to say it.... "I don't want to friends with someone who thinks I'm evil...or a psycho...or thinks I would intentionally hurt someone." And she stepped past him, not even bothering to look at him. After taking a few more steps, she turned around to the little lurker once more. "It's mean you know, to say those things. And I guess you thinking those things about me makes YOU mean. I didn't think you were one of those Slytherins." Hmph.

"I dunno maybe you and Oakey schemed before the Quidditch match about my murder and he tried to brainwash you into thinking that I was a bad person," BREEEEEEATHE..... "Cuz he thinks I'm a bad person and also a wimp but I'm not! I fell off my broom and I DIDN'T EVEN CRY." He gasped to regain breath. Okay, he was good.

Finally, an apology. But he was not impressed with the attitude that followed. Oh, okay.

And he was just about to accept it, too. OH WELL, gnhmhmmt,,h.

She didn't WANT to be friends? She was WALKING right past him? Oh, okay! Theodore turned around sharply to face her, "FINE, I DON'T LIKE GIRLS ANYWAY." He bellowed. They SMELLED and their brains were obviously from a different species.

"What do you mean 'one of those Slytherins'?" Was she discriminating the Slytherin name? Ohhh hell no. Theo knew some snakes who would back him up in that kind of battle. "I'm mean? You knocked me off of my broomstick!" And he landed on the mud and almost died?! If there was a mean contest, Ella would win and Theo would certainly come last.

Ella did her best to follow what the lurker was saying as he was speaking incredibly fast now. Apparently that was part of Slytherin Wrath too. Maybe in hindsight the second year would realize how truly educational this whole fighting thing could be. ...maybe. "Oakey and I would never scheme to kill anyone and I'd never listen to him if he ever told me to hurt my friends!" BREATH "AND for your information all he told me to do was to play my best and not hold back because I was so worried about YOU." So there. Hmph. And boy was this fast talking thing exhausting!

Theodore didn't like girls. Well Hmph. They didn't like HIM either. And Ella really wanted to take back what she said about the heartthrob business too but she couldn't. She didn't want him to CRY or anything.

"I mean...well-well one of THOSE Slytherins who HATE Hufflepuffs and call people MEAN names." Ella didn't think Theodore was one of those...or she never used to think it. And all this being angry stuff was making Ella want to cry. But she wouldn't let Theodore see her cry. Oh no...then he'd probably go back and tell all his Slytherin friends that Hufflepuffs were cry babies too or something. "I knocked you off by ACCIDENT. You called me names to hurt me ON PURPOSE. There's a difference." So on the mean scale, Ella actually didn't rank that high.

Theodore folded his arms again. Probably a thing that he did when he was stuck with how to respond. "Maybe Oakey turned the bludger into a rouge bludger, then. That happened to Harry Potter, you know. The famous Harry Potter that used to go to THIS SCHOOL.... SO COOL, right? But yeah, he almost died, too." He had something in common with Harry Potter, omg. He narrowed his eyes when she said about being worried about him. "Well.... maybe you need anger management classes, that's all I'm sayin'." He wasn't SO mad anymore, just offering his buddy some life advice, ya know?

"I have reasons for hating Hufflepuffs, and I don't even hate all Huffelpuffs - just some. They always cause me grief." So that was his REASON, so leave him ALONE on the subject, sheesh. "I don't call people names." If he knew correctly, SHE called him a 'lurker' all the time. It wasn't exactly an insult but he would pretend it was right now in this situation.

Yes, Theo had accepted that he was hit by a rouge bludger. My goodness, the other Slytherins would think he was a soldier after he tells him. Living after a rouge bludger, wow. "FINE, I FORGIVE YOU FOR ALMOST KILLING ME." Accident or no accident, she almost killed him.

"And.... I'm sorry.... for calling you a... psycho." Though, he wouldn't take it back. Ahem.

Ella listened to Theodore's theory and she raised her eyebrows at him. "I don't really think Oakey would do that th-" GRIN. "Of course I know about Harry Potter. He was nearly killed by that bludger! Imagine if he had been killed!" And her eyes went a bit wide. "Then there might not even be a Hogwarts!" Which would have been awful and sad but hey! Wait! Wasn't she meant to be mad at Theodore right now? Ehh. She really was horrible at being angry at someone. "Anger management?" She repeated, a little shocked at that. "I...um. Right." That was honestly the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.

The second year rolled her eyes at Theodore's dramatics. Hufflepuffs caused him grief? Well he wasn't exactly guiltless either, considering it had been Theodore who had gone and spread rumors about Ella's love life to Blue...that was definitely causing grief. As for the calling people names bit..."You basically called me a-a...an evil-bludger-throwing-psycho Hufflepuff." See? Count them. That was more than one mean name!

The forgiveness thing, Theo really needed a little work. Like it was nice that he was forgiving her for something he shouldn't even have been mad about in the first place. Ahem. but yelling it at her in the entrance hall was a bit...weird. "Good." She said, fighting off the smile that was threatening to appear on her face.

Ella hand't expected an apology and when she heard it, she couldn't stop the smile any longer. It was only a very small one though so Theodore shouldn't pay it any mind. Truthfully she was still a bit annoyed. "Thanks." So this meant...that they were friends again?

"Then you obviously do not KNOW Oakey very well." Because Theodore knew he was the king of evil-Hufflepuffs. He was Theo's arch nemesis, after all. OOH, Harry Potter talk. The firstie didn't know that Ella was a Harry Potter fan, too! "Oh my goodness..... we'd all be Voldemort's little pets if he was killed in Quidditch." Cos then he never would have killed Voldemort and.... and.... OH IT SOUNDED SO SCARY, the thought.

"Yes, anger management." He confirmed with a nod. Theo wasn't sure if they had those kinda classes in the wizarding world, so maybe he'd' bring Ella to the muggle world for it. Being a good pal, SEE?

Huh... very accurate memory. "Right.. well, technically the 'bludger-throwing-Hufflepuff' part is true. So, I take back the evil psycho part, okay?" Was all forgiven?

WAIT... why was HE apologizing? This was all Ella's fault.

Theo tried to ignore the fact that she looked slightly amused by his apology/forgiveness. So now she was trying to mock him? Sheesh, Ella Bishop really was a mean Hufflepuff. GRR. He pouted a bit, but only let out a huff rather than actual words. "S'okay."

Well… Ravenclaw had done very well at the previous games. And now the team was going to play against Slytherin in the final. Gwen was hoping the Claws would win. After all, they really deserved it. Each of the members had probably practiced a lot this term. Even though she was still unsure about it, Gwendolyn started thinking about trying out next year. Though, she knew she wouldn’t be able to accept failure…and that might be a problem. Err. Might? Scratch that. It would be a problem for sure.

Her thoughts were interrupted by something the other girl said. ‘Me too’, she admitted. The fourth year really wanted things to go back to normal. But in the last period there hadn’t been many cases with freezing people. Come to think about it , there haven’t been any incidents in the past weeks. ‘It looks like things are going back to normal…’ Already. Yes.

Gwendolyn drew her attention away from the announcement. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. What could she do next? She hadn’t made any plans with her friends for until later that day, so she had plenty of time to kill. ‘I can’t believe this term is almost over’, she said all of a sudden. As much as she waited to return home, Gwendolyn couldn’t help being a bit sad for leaving Hogwarts.

Ella thought it was better not to mention Oakey anymore. Theodore would obviously never believe anything good Ella said about him so it was best to drop it. Wasn't that always the way with one's arch nemesis, though? Not that Ella knew for sure. She'd never had a real enemy in her life...well except maybe for the Skrewt. That thing was just plain evil. EVILLLLL. And hey, it seemed Harry Potter talk was making the lurker happier so, "His...pets?" O__O "I don't think I'd ever want to be HIS pet. I can't imagine he'd treat pets very kindly. Especially muggleborn ones." SHIVER.

"Okay I'll..uh. I'll look into that." Which was a bit of a lie. Ella didn't think she needed anger management AT ALL. Though maybe she could see if there was a way for Theodore to control his Slytherin Wrath. Yeah! That might be helpful.

Ella thought about this for a moment before nodding. "Yeah-Yeah I guess you're right." Ella had technically throw...well more hit a bludger...so Theodore made a good point. Congratulations to him. "I forgive you too, then." And should they like...shake on it now or something? Ella figured the lurker was more the fist bumping type so she held hers out in front of her, hoping he'd understand.

Ella didn't notice the pouting because she honestly didn't realize she'd done anything to upset the firsty. She was only smiling because Theodore had surprised her with his apology and she was happy he wasn't so mad anymore. Oh. AND she felt like she needed to apologize again too. "Theodore, I really am sorry that you got hurt, y'know." Like REALLY sorry. "Did it hurt very badly?" The bludger hit, that is.

The sooner things were back to normal...the better. "I hope so..." Lily said quietly, shifting from one foot to the other. It had to be getting close to practice time...

"I know right... finals are just around the corner." What a nerd... the second year smirked to herself after that answer. Only a nerd would think about finals coming up rather than thinking about being home and out of school for the summer. But back to what she needed to do for now. "Hey.. um... It's been nice talking with you but... I kinda got to go get ready for Quidditch practice. So... um... bye!" Lily said waving as she scampered off up the stairs to go get changed.

Eyes on the floor, she followed the Slytherin Captain and taking light, almost silent steps as she went.

He stopped when he was right outside the Hall Doors and she basically dragged herself to walk towards him. But then he moved further, leaving her sighing as she still followed.

"What's this about...Dyl?" Beezus asked immediately once the walking came to a halt. She didn't really want anyone to catch them talking there alone while the rest of the school was busy with the Feast.

Dylan watched as she shuffled closer, a look of...apprehension, maybe? on her face. She definitely did not look like she wanted to be anywhere near him. It really made no sense. Obviously the Slytherin had done nothing to this girl. She'd been the one that had disappeared...

Taking a deep breath, he calmed his nerves before carefully opening his mouth. First...he needed to ask her a very important question.

"Beezus..." One would know how significant that was because of his vow to never call her that name. "...I have no idea what's going on with you lately but you are not the girl I met in Diagon Alley last summer. What changed?" Yes, he really wanted to know.

Shaking his head, he pushed further. "Why do you hate me?"

She waited for him to talk but every passing second that he wasn't saying anything felt as if there were knots on her stomach, knots that she was having a very hard time untangling which made her eyes blink uncontrollably and her breathing shallow.

Just then, he was muttering her nickname. Her FULL nickname. It sounded so foreign. Dylan always called her Bee and him doing just the opposite right now meant that things suddenly had a serious label plastered on them. "Dylan.."
she whispered. And the next thing she knew, she was shaking her head.

Was it cue for her to finally tell him the things that made her so depressed? "Nothing." She tried to keep a steady voice but it was harder than she thought. "Nothing changed. I...a few things happened." Like him and Indy ending up together? Naah, that really wasn't any of her business..Or maybe her Aunt and his husband wanting to get a divorce? "..but it's about to get sorted soon. I know it will.."

"And..I don't hate you, okay?" This time, her voice was getting louder. Why would he even think of that? Okay, maybe she felt some kind of alien emotion when she discovered he and Indy were together, something she didn't want to admit or even think about. But that didn't mean she hated him. "I really don't.. Please..don't think that way."

It might have been a bit intense of him but his eyes did not leave her face for one moment. Dylan was going to get answers. He'd been feeling the guilt for this for far too long to just let it go. He'd had the hunch she'd been avoiding him...

...And when he heard her utter his name, it didn't make it seem any easier to hear what the truth might be. Not that he needed to worry too much. The Slytherin had almost forgotten who he was speaking to. The most guarded, stubborn lady in her house. Dylan would've put money on it. "Don't feed me that. Don't insult my intelligence." Really. "This..." He gestured to her shaky body motions and indicated how she'd been acting at the very end of her own house table by a finger towards the door. "...is not nothing."

Taking a few steps back, he rested his body against the stone wall of the niche. "You may not hate me...but you are not happy with me for some reason. Why?"

What was he implying exactly? That she was lying to him? Well.. maybe she wasn't telling him everything but she wasn't lying! "[I]Look, I've been having a few personal crisis these past few weeks, I don't suppose I should tell you all about it," especially since it was Mordred whom she felt comfortable telling all about her family problems, "I don't need to and this? My behavior tonight. It's because I don't want my friends to graduate and leave me." She didn't want to say goodbye. SIGH. "Why do you even care anyway?"

She watched him take a few steps back and despite
feeling irritated because of his questions, she couldn't help but admirehis features. Quidditch sure made him look better. Not that she was going to say it out loud anyway. " approached

Why was he surprised? Dylan was trying to figure out what was going on and he was only met with attitude. How typical of this insufferable Ravenclaw. None of it mattered, though. Her words stung. "If you actually talked to me, yes...You'd realize that I would've let you unload on me...but instead, you have avoided me like a plague."

Bringing his hands up to his face, Dylan rubbed at it tiredly. It was true. He'd been so stressed about this whole situation for weeks...Well, okay...maybe months. He wasn't telling her that, though. Pfft! What would she care anyway?

Hmm...

Precisely what he's just thought...

Oh, he knew why he cared...but he wasn't finished. "You know, your distance started the moment you found out about Indiana and I? Has she cost me your friendship?"...Because...if that were the case...She was so gone, it wasn't even funny.

He just didn't get it, did he? It wasn't like she could just approach him and say, 'Oh hi Dylan, I have a family problem so I'm gonna babble all about it to you,okay?' No, it just didn't work that way. Trying to get her thoughts straight, Beezus breathed heavily while her right hand rubbed her nape. [/b] The last thing she needes right now was for hi
to condemn her for not sharing her depressants.

Now, seeing him in a seemingly miserable state made her feel responsible. "Would you just not worry about me?" It wasn't a request but a command. She was starting to feel bad with him being so protective and such. He didn't have to. Really. She appreciated it but she didn't want to entertain the idea for she might end up getting used with him always looking after her. She wouldn't want that.

Hmmm.. So that's what he thought? Well...maybe he was right. She indeed started avoiding him when he and Indy became something. She nodded and tried to look him in the eyes. "I wanted to get away from you because I wanted to give you both your privacy. After all, you two were in a relationship. And I didn't want to create any sort of conflict between you guys. I didn't want to be in any way a disturbance." She was really telling him her reason eh? Or were those actually the ONLY reasons she had?

"Well...I understand..." It was Dylan's turn to rub the back of his neck with slight discomfort. "The way you said...what you said...implied that I wouldn't have been there for you...And I want you to know that would have been a terrible lie." Well, because it would have. Didn't Bee know how much the Slytherin valued her...friendship? Her? She had to know...

Hearing her voice gaining some strength from across the small niche, Dylan's head snapped up. Once again he was leveling her with an intense look that might have made a lesser person cry out. He couldn't believe her nerve. Really...It was nice to know just have much she, in turn, was valuing him.

Not much at all.

Taking a few deep breaths to calm him nerves, his mind was completely made up. Dylan knew what he was going to have to do. It didn't make it any easier...but it would need to be done. He wasn't quite to the point of telling her so, though.

The Slytherin crossed his arms. "It's completely ridiculous that you think I can't be friends with you and still date her. Do you think I am such an uncontrollable bag of teenage hormones that I can't put aside my feelings for you? Is that it?"
