In the event that Healer Tillstorm decides you need further care/observation, you will be placed in the Observation Ward. Your stay will be determined on the type of injury you are currently being treated for, but never fear, the beds are comfortable, and the Healer is ready to assist you in any way she can.
OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Tillstorm will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.
I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the bed, the thread will be reopened.
Visitors are not permitted in the Observation Ward until given express permission from the Healer.
Cece quickly and not so carefully made her way from the dungeon to the third floor levitating Krummy the Prefect in front of her. Hopefully the others were following behind with the other students. She really didn't want to have to go back and track them down.
Callie followed the Healer through the main part of the Hospital Wing and into the room marked Observation Ward, Room 2. Hospitals still freaked her out but she had a duty as a Hogwarts Professor to her students and the frozen Hufflepuff Prefect she was hovering infront of her could hardly bring himself up here from the dungeons.
"Is over here fine?" Professor Elwood gently set the Rasting boy on the bed beside the one Cece had place Miss Hollingberry on. There, the friends may have been broken apart in the moving process but they could at least be with each other now.
SPOILER!!: Cece and her comment to Ollie and WILLY! :O

Yeah, this apologizing to Oliver thing was going to be harder than she thought.

As he entered the hospital wing, he quickly scanned the room numbers and finding the room he needed, he walked inside and placed William onto the bed. He noticed that Max was on the next bed and he raised his eyebrows. Seems to be a trend.
Oliver took the seat next to the bed and heaved a deep sigh, he supposed it wouldn't be Hogwarts if something weird didn't happen during the term. He hoped that Cece, knew how to fix his friend. He looked over at William and felt a sense of guilt in the pit of his stomach. He had been keeping something important from his friend but had been afraid to tell him for fear of his reaction.
Maybe he could tell him now. Maybe it wouldn't appear so bad especially after what had just happened to him. Or maybe William would be so furious about him keeping this secret that he might wake up and want to strangle him. Oliver was willing to take that risk, so he leaned forward and in a low voice, he told his mate his secret. "I've been seeing your sister."
Calista was more than ready to just leave this place after dropping her assigned student off in his bed but the sight of one of her collegues sitting beside another bed caught her off guard. He was the Ancient Runes Professor right? She had ment to discuss her Lithomancy notes with him but hadn't really gotten the chance.
...........
"William!?" Elwood's eyes widened with shock as she quickly made her way over to the bed occupied by one of her good friends. How did this happen to him? Had he spent too much time with an infected student? Her eyes actually started to water a bit. She knew William deserved better than this. She wondered if Medea knew. "Cece are we going to be able to cure them soon?" she whispered to the Healer.

"I have S-- Miss Greingoth," Hecate's voice came from behind the levitating prefect, she ignored everyone else in the room, because if she hadn't shed have a lot of ammunition against Oliver... She lay the prefect on a nearby bed and looked intently at her, as if her sheer will power would make her unfreeze.
"Fix her...." she said and then corrected herself... "Them... Fix them"
Kennedy followed the women to the Hospital Wing, the Ravenclaw girl levitating in front of him. As he walked in behind professor Lafay he caught something about a kiss. Would that work? Because he didn't mind trying it. You know...for the well being of his co-Prefect.
He gently set the Ravenclaw girl down on a bed and pocketted his wand. His eyes drifted to Lafay whom was intently staring at Sierra. Was she going to inform her father?
Kennedy looked back up at the adults and guessed his work here was done. "Is there anything else I can help with?" The Headmaster should be on the way, right? So he didn't need to go there. If not then he'd leave.

Of course he had just to choose this moment to tell his friend his secret and about half a dozen people walked into the room. Oliver had to grit his teeth when he heard Cece's voice.
And punching you in the face was not going to knock a nice personality into you he thought to himself but he refrained from saying out aloud. Instead he merely chuckled softly and looked up at the blonde. "Don't be so sure about that Tillstorm. Many women have told me that my kisses are...arousing." But she would never get the chance to find out about that.
He stood up from the chair and moved away from the bed. "Now how about you just fix him." Instead of flapping those gums at him.

As he pressed himself against the wall to get out everyone's way, Oliver had to raise his eyebrows at the other blonde in the room. The Divination professor. He glanced at her and then at his friend. Seems he wasn't the only one keeping secrets.
Oh look it was the Potions mistress and a number of children. If the situation wasn't so serious he probably would have made a crack about the kids being so bored in her class that they had become unconscious.
What a shame. He liked giving her a hard time. Almost as much as he did Cece.

Oliver Jenkins had arousing kisses? Highly unlikely. "Well that doesn't say much about the women you've kissed then does it Jenkins," she said mostly under her breath. Poor women were probably so hard up for a date they would have kissed a toad. Oh wait, they did kiss a toad if they kissed him. She would have loved to continue this little... discussion with the conceited one but she had more important things to do right now, and apologizing to HIM was now LAST on her list. She wasn't even going to bother responding to his demands of her fixing William. She didn't need the likes of Oliver Jenkins telling her how to do her job.
Hearing Professor Elwood, cece looked over at the woman. "Yes, that's fine. There's really no order to where everyone goes." Nope, she was just filling up the beds as they went along. Hopefully she wouldn't have to have any more beds brought in.
What the...?
Calista sure did seem to be rather worried about William now didn't she. She sure didn't seem this concerned about what was going on when it was just students that were in this state. "I sure hope we are." Truth was, without knowing what was causing everyone to freeze up like this she really had no idea how to cure them. Her and Professor Tate had been working on some theories but nothing solid had come up as of yet.
And then Professor Lafay was there with Sierra. "I'm working on it." She was only one person though, she couldn't work on a cure and keep running around the castle bringing people back here. She was really going to need an assistant if things kept up at this pace.
And there was the prefect bringing in the last victim student. "Thank you Prefect Escalante. I'll leave it up to your Head of House about what she wants you to do next." Cece had other things to worry about right now. Let Hecate decide what her prefect should be doing.
Then again, maybe she should keep the boy around, you know so he could go fetch anyone else who may end up in this state.
Moving from bed to bed Cece started checking on all the students.
Yep, just like the professors. Everything seems normal, all except for the fact they were frozen in those odd positions and not waking up.
Where was Tate? Had he found out anything else since she last seem him?
Callie continued to look at William's frozen form for a few minutes, hoping that the last time she had seen him it had been a happy moment. She was acting pretty dramatically, yes she knew, but he was one of her best and first friends here at the Castle.
But her psuedo-grieving hadn't gone unnoticed and she looked up to find not only the Healer but the Ancient Runes Professor both oggling her. Geez. Can't a girl be sad for her friend without all of the Castle staring at her. "Well I should be going." Professor Elwood stood up, sniffed and then headed for the door.
She nodded quickly to Professor Lafay and then left.

What!? The kid was still here? Merlin's beard what was he waiting for?!
"No. Get back to the common room. I'm here, as is your co-prefect. You need to get back there and let me-- err-- the healer, know if anyone else is experiencing this..."

Oh yes, Professor Lafay was now officially Cece's favorite person here. Now if only all women would stand up to Oliver Jenkins like that the world would be a better place.
"I'm sorry professor, there's not much we can do at this time. The headmaster and I have been working on this but so far we have nothing to go on at this time." Well they had a few theories but nothing solid yet. "Trust me, you'll be the first one I tell when we get this figured out." Looking over at Sierra then back at Lafay, Cece couldn't help but feel bad for the woman.
After checking on everyone there again Cece excused herself from the room. "Excuse me but I need to go check on the others out in the waiting room. I'll be back soon. You may stay if you'd like." Turning towards the door she left to make sure there wasn't anyone rioting out in the waiting room. Who knows how many students followed them from the dungeons.
For a woman who hated and avoided Hospitals at all costs, Callie had been in one the most she had in years in the matter of one week, her last trip being just a few days prior. Although it was a different occasion, her burden was just the same--transferring frozen students to the hopeful safety of the Infirmary.
Once she passed through the door with the young Ravenclaw, Jezzabelle Black if she remembered correctly, Professor Elwood layed her down on an empty bed and decided to wait for the Healer to arrive so she wasn't suprised by a new patient and because it wasn't really good to just leave someone there and all.

"I think I'll return to my office..." She needed to do some research. Plus she didn't want to be alone with Jenkins... Tate said no setting anyone on fire... and he wasn't worth getting fired for... she quickly left.
Kennedy nodded at both women. Alright, he wasn't need as of now, but he'll keep an eye on people, though, he hoped this didn't keep happening. The wider this freezing thing spread, the more at risk other's were. Well, if it wasn't some sort of epidemic.
He turned to leave, but he was going to be back. Mark his words! Kennedy Escalante was coming back. First, he needed to ask for a favor and hopefully by the time he returned Sierra was up and glaring at people. He'd like that very much, indeed.

Sophia clicked her way into the observation ward and looked around at the frozen students and staff. Well now, this was pretty depressing.
She looked at all the frozen bodies until she got to the one that she really wanted to see. Of course it wasn't at all out of concern for his health or anything. Cece was a competent healer she could fix them..
Aha!!!
Williamson!
There he was frozen with not a care in the world. While she had to conduct that lesson by herself. Hmph, when he got fixed she would be giving him a piece of her mind.
In the mean time.
Jab!
She prod him with her wand. Nothing, no reaction... She looked around to make sure no one was really watching her jab the CoMC professor.
Jab!
"You have abandoned me and broken your promise." Jab Jab.

Cece carefully maneuvered her way to the infirmary with Anya levitating in front of her looking like she was still sitting in her seat in class. Finally making her way to the Observation Room she entered just in time to see...
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" She shouted at the Charms Professor. Had the woman gone mental or what? WHY would she poke Professor WIlliamson like that? "If you want to stay in my infirmary you WILL put that wand away now." That's right, this was HER area of the castle and Sophia Bellaire had to follow the same rules as everyone else that entered... friend or not.
Moving to a chair with arms on it she carefully lowered Anya onto it. There really was no point in putting the girl in a bed with the position her body was in.
After making sure Anya wasn't going to fall to the floor she turned back to Sophia. "Really Professor, I would have expected behavior like that from Oliver but certainly not from you." It was then that she noticed yet another professor in the room. "Professor Elwood, I do hope you weren't planning on being a part of..."
Oh for the love of all that was good and evil. Another student in a frozen state. "Where did this one come from?" She asked looking over at the Ravenclaw girl laying there. She really was going to have to stop leaving the infirmary. Every time she returned there was someone new there.

Sophia spun around when she heard Cece's loud angry voice. Meh, she was caught poking William. Why was this so bad?
She frowned and put her wand in it's holster. Really she didn't have to shout, she was right there and could hear her quite clearly.
"I'm not doing anything he doesn't deserve. I didn't tell him to go off and get himself frozen or whatever when he PROMISED to help me with the bloody rodents!" Professor Williamson deserved to get jabbed and since she couldn't use her wand, she figured she would jab him with her finger instead, so...
JAB!
"Just wait until you figure out how to heal them....I'm going to kill him. Make it fast won't you?" She eyed the frozen professor.

Tate zipped through the crowded waiting room without a word to anyone in there - so quickly, in fast, that they may not have even realized he was there before he was gone again. He still had the locked box pressed against his chest, and he didn't loosen his grip as he surveyed the beds FULL of stricken staff and students.

Okay, this woman was really starting to irritate Cece. She may have put her wand away but her attitude was not going to cut it here. "You have GOT to be kidding me Sophia. You don't seriously think William went and got himself in this situation just to get out of helping you now do you?" I'm sure he would have found something a little less dramatic if he really didn't want to help the woman.
OH. No. She. DIDN'T!
"Unless you want ME to hex YOU into oblivion I suggest you leave here NOW! I will NOT tolerate you talking that way about Professor Williamson!" If there was going to be any killing here it was going to be Cece killing Bellaire's nasty, hateful attitude.
Seriously, with all these rotten attitudes everyone seems to have how is it that Cece was the one deemed as evil?

Tate raised an eyebrow at Cece. Was that meant to be a joke? It wasn't exactly funny.
He dropped the box onto the end of Max's bed and gestured at it with both hands. "I brought the orb in case you had a brainstorm, but in the meantime... we're going to have to close the school. We can't definitely pin the illness on the stupid thing, and I cannot have anyone else get sick."

What? Tate didn't think that was good news? Wasn't he the one that always said "Don't Die!" She thought he would have found that no one dying was GREAT news, not just good news.
Eyeing the box he dropped on Max's bed she was tempted to throw the stupid thing across the room when he said what was in it. They may not be 100% sure that was the thing causing these problems but she knew one thing, these problems didn't start until after that thing had appeared.
WAIT!
WHAT?!
"You're going to close Hogwarts? But..." Looking around at all the immobile ones she wanted to shout out... 'WAKE UP!' but she knew that wouldn't do any good. Eyeing the box again she slowly picked it up. "You know, we may not be certain this is the thing that's causing all these problems but I am certain of one thing..." Raising her arm she threw the box at the wall as hard as she could. Hearing the glass shatter she looked back over at the Head Master. "...If that was the cause of all this..." she said gesturing to all the frozen ones, "...we don't have to worry about it happening to anyone else now." Of course the only way to test that theory was to wait and see if anyone else fell victim to this... whatever you want to call it.
Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee
Tate crossed the room and picked up his box, the lid hanging by its hinges in a very sad fashion. Shards of glass fell from the interior. Not such a very powerful magical artifact if it shattered in one fit of rage from a Healer. There were so very many fitful Healers in the world... one ought to make their artifacts stronger.
"I really liked this box. You broke it." He poked at the shards of glass before carefully fitting them back into the box and closing the lid as best he could. "Let's hope that doesn't make things worse. At the very least... it can't hurt, right?"
Lewis blinked. Once. Twice. And a third time. Expecting to see Kurumi - and Jonathan <___< - sitting at their desk in Potions. Only there was nothing in front of him. Nothing but a slightly familiar looking wall. He glanced down at his hand which still looked as if it was holding something. Only when he flexed it, forming a fist for a brief moment, there was nothing there but thin air. He HAD been holding something though. A second ago he HAD been holding something. And that something was Kurumi's hand.
OKAY WHERE WAS SHE?!
It was only then that he became aware of the fact that he was sort of on his side. And in a bed. A BED?! In Potions?! Only the more he thought about it the less this room looked like the Potions classroom. Where was he?! Had he fainted or something? Lewis sat up quite suddenly in his bed, turning his head quite frantically, trying to get his bearings. This was...this was the Hospital Wing. And there were people in the beds close to his. People he knew.
Only he didn't really care about those right now. He was looking for somebody specific...
"Kurumi!" Lewis exclaimed once he'd turned around fully and had found the Gryffindor in the bed next to his. In exactly the position he remembered last seeing her. All rigid. All frozen. On her side now, though oddly looking as if she were still sitting on a chair. Only she wasn't. Because she was in a bed. Even though it had only taken him a couple of seconds to find her, right now it seemed like hours had passed since he'd last seen her.
And she was still frozen. Still.
Jumping out of his bed - blinking a couple of times to stop the room from spinning - Lewis closed the gap between the two beds in one large step and sat himself down on the end of Kurumi's bed. "Kurumi...?" Maybe she was just sleeping after all. Who knew how they'd all gotten up here and how long he'd been passed out - because that was the only logical explanation he could come up with right now. Reaching for her hand he tried squeezing it softly, though once again found himself confronted with a rather stiff Kurumi. So no sleeping then. She was still very much...well, frozen.

Kurumi found herself momentarily blinded when her eyes refocused. Fantastic. Dragon Lady had sent some sort of spell her direction for talking in the middle of her lesson and now she was blinded. Only...wait a second... Adjusting to the light some more, Kurumi shut her eyes tightly for a moment only to feel a burning sensation as if she had kept her eyes open for weeks. Her eyes watered for a moment and she was about to reach up to wipe her eyes when she felt someone's hand close around hers and his voice whispering her name.
Head turning slightly, Kurumi blinked several more times when she found herself on her side. In a bed. Definately not in the dungeons. Nothing made any sense, especially location. How had she arrived here? Had Dragon Lady really done THAT much of a number on her for talking out of turn in class? This was worse than being turned into a newt! She was in the hospital wing...in a bed...where THAT woman would be present...
Only her attention was now on the hand holding hers and her fingers slowly reacted to his warmth. "L-Lewis?" she whispered back, her violet eyes meeting his green ones as her fingers slowly laced together with his. Had he been by her bed side the entire time? Had he carried her here? "What....what happened?" Because he had been there in the lesson and seen what had happened to her, right?

Lewis' eyes felt weird. Mighty weird. He looked back up at the ceiling for a moment, blinking quite rapidly a couple of times before slowing the blinking down so he kept his eyes closed for a couple of seconds followed by leaving them open for a moment. Weird. He even reached up with his other hand, the one not currently holding Kurumi's and started rubbing his eyes until they watered a little. Which was also when he noticed that his hand felt slightly sore. Almost as if-
Only it was right then that he felt Kurumi stir and even mutter something.
"Kurumi?!" His eyes back on her now, Lewis leaned in slightly to be able to get a closer look of her face. Yes, she was awake. She wasn't frozen anymore. Her hand was reacting to his touch. "Y-you're okay!" Letting out a big sigh of relief, he smiled while pointing out the obvious, giving her hand a squeeze. He had even briefly forgotten all about how they were in the Hospital Wing and how he had absolutely no recollection whatsoever of how they'd gotten there.
Until Kurumi asked about what had happened.
Chewing on his lower lip nervously, Lewis glanced around the room for a moment, spotting a couple of professors standing nearby (I think?). "I...I don't know." And it scared him that he didn't know. Why was he in the Hospital Wing? And what was wrong with Kurumi? "Y-you...you kind of...froze during Potions." He gulped with his eyes back on Kurumi again, a look of slight panic and concern plastered across his face. What was going on?!

Jezabel had obviously not realised that she was frozen. As far as she was concerned, the past few hours had been one moment. As far as she knew, she was still in the courtyard, playing with water and fire, happy as ever. That was about to change.
Just as suddenly as she had frozen, Jez unfroze.
She blinked, suddenly finding herself in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room, surrounded by ... mostly unfamiliar people. She sat up abruptly, and immediately decided that it was a bad idea as drums started playing rock 'n' roll in her head. She groaned, pressing her palms into her eye sockets, her knees pulled up to her chest.
"What ... happened?" she groaned, looking up at the others in the room. Hadn't she just been in the courtyard?!

She thought Cece was more intelligent or maybe the woman was working as a healer so long all the potions fumes messed up her brain some. She couldn't think of anything else to excuse the woman's reaction to what she said.
Surely she didn't really think she was being literal when she said William went and got himself frozen.
*blink*
Come now Cece don't disappoint us. She frowned.
Of course she was about to launch a verbal attack on the woman starting with Are you stupid? Followed by I'd love to see you try to hex me.. When Tate marched in clutching something.
Despite her agitation, Sophia stepped back and let the woman address the headmaster about this orb and the possibility of Hogwarts closing? Whaaat? She was just settling in.
But then Cece happened..... Did Tate not think it necessary to offer the woman anger management sessions or something?
It seemed though, that her breaking the orb was the right move after all, as the students started to come to...
She folded her arms and waited......
...for William.
Hmmm...

Nerida blinked once and than twice and then leaned up. It took a moment for her eyes to adjust to the surroundings the light seemed to be very bright, since when did Professor Lafay light the dungeons. Sitting up quickly she realized the idea was bad as soon as she did it. Her head began to hurt like someone was screaming in her ear very loudly and the bright light was not helping at all! Wait when did she sit down? She would have sworn that she had been standing up dissecting a plimpy.
Her eyes finally adjusted she noticed she was no longer in the dungeons, but was in the Hospital Wing. "What...happened? she uttered. Looking around at the others though the light was still hurting her eyes, her head had stopped hurting so that was good.
